Yum! I dropped my dog off at the vet across the street and had a hankerin for a sandwich. Walked across the street (not recommended) and enjoyed a great chicken sandwich. The couple at the next table ordered the pot pie (next on my list). Great staff, Terrific food. I can't wait to head there tomorrow am for breakfast!!

This place is fantastic! I was thrilled to discover the Roswell location after having moved here from Marietta and visiting that location for years. The pastries here are divine! From the Napoleons to the Pain Au chocolate, it doesn't get better than this place! For brunch they have huge fluffy omelets, soft, flaky croissants, and the best hash browns out there. Also, you must try the giant french toast with strawberries and heavy cream!

Very authentic French baking, cozy light-filled atmosphere... I'm liking it. It's really a 3.5 stars, but I don't think it deserves a 3, so it gets 4. Things I have had here: a one-egg croissant (sprinkled with dry herbs... scrambled egg inside a croissant with a little cheese), the french toast (topped with strawberry and banana), the Charlotte, the St. Tropez, the Napoleon (mille-feuille), and the Vanilla Eclair pastries. I don't know what the actual hell they do to their french toast to get that perfect texture, but I need to know it EXTRA PROMPTLY. It is expensive for what it is (literally one piece of french toast topped with fruit and some delightful freshly whipped cream around the edges of the plate)... but it's pretty tremendous. Brioche with a super-light crispy exterior and this milky sweetness that most French toast does not possess. I need to know how this is a thing. I can't get over it. The croissants here are... well... no words. They tend to be a little browner than most people are accustomed to, but that's actually a good thing texturally and is a little more authentic. Pastries are insane. So insane. Everyone reading this review needs to try the St. Tropez... lightly sweet brioche with a creamy custardy filling, topped with confectioners sugar. It's gonna blow you to pieces. The eclair was good, but not special, the Napoleon was VERY awesome, and the Charlotte was... not what I was expecting, for some reason. Good. But unexpected. A little limey for my taste. My beef with the place, and what's making me inclined to give it a 3.5 instead of a 4 is that the service wasn't all that great. I've actually never ordered the one-egg croissant; the waitress misheard my request for a single croissant and brought me the one-egg instead. Also, I had to ask a couple of times for the wireless password (the store's phone number). Overall: great atmosphere, great food, meh service, and a little pricy. Highland Bakery french toast is MASSIVE and only slightly more expensive. Still, I'll be back, if for nothing else than the French toast and the St. Tropez. Worth it!

Fantastic. Excellent execution. Had a 3 egg omelet with spinach, tomatoes, turkey and goat cheese (chèvre) with a croissant. I am a croissant snob and these are perfection. My companion had the hash brown which was prepared with scallion and required no additional seasoning. The pastries and desserts appear to be top quality and above the Alpine Bakery. Will be back to try them. Service was superb.

I really love this place. been coming here for years. I love the food, it is always very fresh. I like the coffee. I love macarons, and you can get them here. I have to say, though, that the last few times I have had them, they seem ever so slightly under done. like the inside just needed a little more time. the service is a bit slow, but one should come here with the intention of relaxing and enjoying a little time. the pastry is delicious. the breakfast menu is yummy. try this place. it is so much better than the other roswell french bakery!

We had just landed a few hours in Atlanta but had planned to get out of the city for a day of reprieve in Roswell. So with a little Yelp magic, we found Douceur de France - a cozy little French bakery and cafe. What I love about this place is their ALL DAY BREAKFAST menu. Who cannot love that? =) We decided a sweet/savory combo -- so we ordered their creme brulee french toast with a simple vegetable ratatouille. My husband is sooo into creme brulee it's not even funny. Anything that has creme brulee on the menu was definitely being ordered. I should not even ask. French toast was marvelous -- very lightly dipped with creme brulee w/ a spread of fresh strawberries and homemade starwberry preserves. It's simple but wonderfully light (unlike those crazy large ones served at diners). Ratatouille came as a warm soup with a side of sliced toasted french baguette. It was tasty, light and had a wonderful medley of eggplant, tomato and other veggies I cannot recall. --- We loved their little bakery and decided to buy a little food gift for our friend. ;) Perfect brunch. =) It was small enough to give us stomach room to check out other eateries! They have another cafe in Marietta .. oh so posh.

I'm a fan. Really good food. Can be a bit pricey but...hey, these folks are from France and they cook from scratch. Give it a go. You'll be happy. Wish it was located in a better spot. Would be a hit if it was located on or near Canton St.

Amazing! I went to Douceur de France for lunch intending on staying there for an hour or two to study for the GMAT. When my dish arrived (chicken pot pie) all that went out the window. My plate cleaned in under 20 minutes. I was completely satisfied. My study materials remain ignored. I can't speak for all of their food...yet... But what I can say is the Tourte au Poulet is amazing. Marinated chicken wrapped in a buttery flaky croissant dough covered in a bechamel mushroom sauce. If you go to Douceur de France, I would highly recommend Tourte au Poulet. The food is amazing and I will be back.

First time visiting, food was great, had the quiche which was just the right amount of creaminess with an amazing crust! What a neighborhood gem!

I probably shouldn't rate this place based on one dish, but I was really pleased with it. Went here for brunch with a darling friend and service was prompt and attentive. We both ordered the panini salmon, which came with the most delicious hashbrown side of all time. I'm serious. I don't normally talk about hashbrowns like this either, because honestly, it's just potatoes right? This was so good though... The panini salmon itself was presented well with perfectly poached eggs to order. Well priced menu with lots of options.

    1. Parking is rough. There is a very small lot in the back, and since it is on Alpharetta Highway it can take time to find a lot near by to park in if needed. We went at 1:30pm on a Thursday and one in our party had to park down the street at Lucky's. 2. The tomato basil soup is consistently divine. Both times we have been here I have really enjoyed this soup. Price vs size for the cup was appropriate. 3. The Quiche Lorraine during the week was the best I have ever had. It was cut like a big pie slice, creamy, and filled with fluffy eggs and fresh ham. On the second visit, on a Saturday, the quiche was served more like a tart. While still tasty, it didn't have that creamy, fluffy texture of the time before. I would assume a little variation in chefs since I saw different chef's in the dining room on each day. All in all I was pleased with our experience and will go back some other time in the future.

After a long night of unpacking things with Kungfu at his new place, we were super hungry. I've been wanting to come here for a while, so we drove down to Douceur de France. As we pulled in, the heavenly smell of fresh baked bread hit my nose. I was hungry, but there was still fifteen minutes to go until opening time. I patiently waited in the car as we watched a stray orange tabby kitty make its way across the parking lot. It was finally seven, and I dragged myself out of the car. By then, I was delirious with hunger. They were still putting out fresh baked breads and pastries out and I was now in a quandary. You know when you're really hungry and you go grocery shopping? Yeah. You grab every thing off the shelves. I was trying to hold myself back or else I was going to spend close to a hundred dollars in the wee hours of the morning. I knew for sure I wanted some quiche for breakfast. Kungfu also decided on quiche, and he got the quiche lorraine and I got the quiche du jour, which was asparagus and goat cheese. I wanted a croissant as well. I couldn't pick. I finally decided on the chocolate almond pear croissant. Now, on to the pastries. I have a few favorites and they were all there staring back at me from the display case. They were beckoning me with their sweet aromas. I felt like they were whispering to me or even possibly singing Handel's Messiah. I finally saw a pate choux with strawberries and cream. I decided to bestow myself with this angelic creation for my after breakfast sweet. We paid for our breakfast and pastries and left the place. On our way back to Kungfu's apartment, we decided to eat the croissant. The croissant's warm flaky goodness oozed out melted chocolate and gave way to bites of poached pear with bits of sliced almond sprinkled in between our bites. We scarfed it down n less than two minutes. We got back to the apartment and the quiches were still warm. I found some plastic utensils in a box somewhere and we sat down by the coffee table. The quiche was light and fluffy with a good amount of asparagus and goat cheese to give it a nice bite and the pastry shell was flaky. It was perfect to quell our hunger. The pate choux with strawberries was glorious. That's all I need to say. Just glorious. There are two locations to get your fill of Douceur de France. Get thee to the nearest one ASAP. I can't go on about this, the bakery is closed at this time and now I want some. Time to go stare into my fridge.

One of the best things about France, besides the great architecture, art and wine, is the food. Douceur de France gives you a wide selection of French finds. There were so many wonderful looking items that it was hard to decided. I finally choose the croque mademoiselle and coffee. It was wonderful. Creamy sauce over a thick piece of bread with a fried egg on top. I plan on trying many more things in the future.

I don't know if the staff here are French. But our server pronounced all the items on the menu authentically. Maybe she is taking French in High School. The pastries here seem high quality. Everything we ordered tasted good. They do have a huge menu though. I found myself indecisive due to the huge number of choices. The service seemed deliberate as well. I would come here if I wanted to relax, eat some French inspired food, and don't mind the mellow service.

Awesome food, medium service. Their chicken/mushroom pot pie is to die for. Seriously top quality food. I like to call and order it to go during my lunch hour. It never seems to be an efficient process to get in and out of there. For instance, even if I ordered on the phone, I have to wait in line there behind everyone else who is ordering their lunch. Guess it's better for a leisurely visit.

Girlie food, but delicious. My La Pain Perdu (their version of the American invention of "French Toast") was made from brioche dipped in créme brûlée and the whipped creme border was equally exquisite. But a single slice of bread isn't going to satisfy a man-appetite, and I probably should have gone with omelet-in-a-croissant like my father-in-law. I did have a side of bacon which was tasty (note to chef: we use these things called "paper towels" and you put bacon on them before serving so there's not a pool of grease on the customer's plate, but maybe it was a "French" thing). Anyway, since I was leaving still peckish, I added a to-go order of two eclairs as we checked out. (Which reminds me, the waitstaff don't handle payment, so you have to remember and give your table number to the cashier.) The chocolate eclair was good, but the coffee-flavored eclair was truly delicious. My wife's breakfast was a tiny bowl of mixed fruit, a bowl-sized quiche Lorraine, and a croissant. She loved the flavorful and hearty quiche, served hot in it's perfect and flaky crust. But even better was her airy croissant in its crunchy-flaky shell. Our two breakfast dishes, the two eclairs, and a can of Diet Coke came to nearly $30 so all this goodness comes at a hefty price. But, sacre bleu, I will be back.

This place is wonderful, my new favorite restaurant in the Roswell area. We had three different type of croissants, all delicious. We also had the Eggs Ratatouille and the Croque Mademoiselle, both were divine. We also had the hashbrowns, and they were cooked to perfection. I can't wait to return because the menu is so extensive and has so many interesting items. We have a five year old, and the restaurant was very kid friendly, bringing out here food quickly to avoid her restlessness. Really, really enjoyed our first experience here.

I previously wrote a four star review for Douceur de France after many good visits with great food. I hate to be negative, but today's experience here has prompted me to give an update. We arrived a little before 2pm and were sat down by a cheerful young waitress. She took our drinks order a little hurriedly but we thought nothing of it until she came back with our order on a tray: a coffee, a water, and a Coke. Each of these was placed with some force on the table. The Coke came in a can without a glass (which would have fit on the tray?), so my mum asked politely if she could have one. The waitress returned with a glass that was SLAMMED onto the table, and threw(!) the straws down with such carelessness that they bounced across it. She spun around without a word to tend to something else and the three of us looked at each other wondering what on earth we'd done to offend her so much. Aaaawkward. We got the impression that we'd come in towards the end of her shift and that we were nothing but an inconvenience. It was an incredibly awkward feeling, and we were so put off by her attitude towards us that we paid cash for our drinks and left. It was a big disappointment because we've always had a positive experience here, but we left without even ordering food today because we felt like we weren't wanted. I hope guests experience better hospitality in the future.

Extremely dissatisfied with service. Went in with my son to get sandwiches and dessert for my family and there was one one sandwich in the case. They refused to make any more even though we said we wanted to buy 3 (including the one in the case) and 3 desserts. Have gone in before to buy dessert but will not be returning again. Next time they want to speak about a customer in French right in front of them, they should make sure the customer doesn't speak French first!

Fresh, good food and confections made daily. Great laid back atmosphere. The dining room is quaint but the service is attentive and pleasant. The desert trays will make your mouth water. Try the French Toast! Recommended if you're in the area of Roswell Road / Chattahoochee River.

Love this place! I order something different every time and haven't been disappointed once. The atmosphere is casual, great for a long chat with friends. Also, you don't need to wait for your check. Walk to the counter say "I'm at table #7", then add some beignets to go.

I went for French press coffee and they served weak coffee and had the little mini creamers at the table. No French press coffee at a French bakery annoyed me. I had the sandwich with ham, fried egg, and gruyere cheese, it was alright. Did enjoy the trench toast with fruit that my wife ordered.

I first came here on the Sugar Coma OTP tour, and I was completely excited because it was the same weekend as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and I figured it'd be cool to enjoy a French pastry or two during the race. Chef Luc had set up a table to finish making one of the strawberry shortcake cakes for us, but I did not get to try this cake. Sad. Let's just say it involves a lot of cream and strawberries and it doesn't look anything like the strawberry shortcake you're probably thinking about right now. I did however get some other things. If it wasn't for a time constraint, I would have ended up with more than Opera cake and a chocolate eclair. I gave the eclair to my boyfriend. He ate it without saying a word. I asked if he wanted another when I was back over in Roswell later in the week and he wanted me to bring back four so his visiting brother could try them too. And of course that didn't happen. So I got to try one of the eclairs finally and it reminded me of a cream puff I had once in Wisconsin....only way better. Incredible. The Opera cake was my favorite thing though. Coffee syrup soaked cake, chocolate ganache, and chocolate buttercream in thin layers covered on top with more chocolate ganache? YES. I am glad I ate that alone. I also got a couple croissants on my second visit. When I retold the story of how my boyfriend wanted four eclairs, a woman who worked there told me a lady comes in every week to buy a dozen croissants. She'll take them with her on business trips, like to Chicago. Being from Chicago, I was like well these must be damn good if you'd bring food from Atlanta to Chicago. Once I got home, one of the croissants didn't even make it to breakfast. I mean, I think I ate it within an hour of getting back. First I just wanted to taste it, and next thing I know it's entirely gone. There are plenty of other pastries and things that I must get back to try. They also have a lot of French and European grocery sort of things. My friend and I both got some flavored syrup for water made by a company called Teisseire. I got grenadine flavor which for some reason tastes like none of the fruits indicated on the bottle, but I find this a fascinating concept. They do breakfast and lunch too, but I would probably choose to eat pastries instead. And there's a cooler with soups and other to-go things. If it hadn't been 93 degrees, there were a couple soups that looked really good.

Little pricey but, Just a real deal, European style pastry and bread, the way no one does around here, we should keep their doors open by supporting them, instead of going to other blah coffee shops. Keep it up you guys.

Amazing pastries. Their blueberry/cheese croissant will make you collapse into food-heaven. All their breakfast foods and sweets are delicious as well. Its a great, cute place for breakfast & lunch. I noticed it said its 'good for kids', and I'd like to clarify its not a good sit-down place for toddler-aged children. Babies who stay put, and older children however, its fine for.

AMAZING!! They have the best bakery, not to mention their entrees. It is a breakfast/lunch cafe and the full menu is available at either time. I can't rave enough, just GO. The average service is a real bummer but the excellent food is worth it.

I have been searching all over Atlanta for macaroons as good as those I had in Paris with no luck . . . until today! Amazing little bites of heaven. A must try. I will be back!

In short, good cafe atmosphere, very good food, excellent espresso, so-so service. My wife had been to DdF for breakfast a while back, so we decided to try it for lunch. Pot pies, crepes and other authentic French cafe foods are on the menu, along with some soup, salad, and sandwich choices. And of course all the desserts up front in display cases, betraying DdF's bakery origins. The place was decently crowded for our late lunch, with only a handful of tables free by the time we left. There's a nice back patio, but with a not-so-picturesque view of the back parking lot. Service was so-so. Our waitress must have gotten distracted, as my iced tea went unfilled for quite a while. She did apologize. But then later on when we wanted to order dessert and coffee, she was on break, yet nobody came to get our plates. We eventually flagged down another waitress who said, "your choice" for dessert. She left, then we had to flag her down again - she assumed we "knew the drill" to go up to the counter to order dessert - she didn't know we wanted continue sitting and order from her. Not sure what was up with that. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which came with potato chips. At $6.90 it wasn't a bad deal, and it was very good. I would order it again., My wife had a pot pie, which she reported also was very good. For dessert we ordered some beignets, which were just OK. If you've had beignets in New Orleans you will be disappointed (I was). However, the espresso I ordered was excellent. I would return here just for that. There is a broad enough menu of French food to bring me back again to try some of each. The dining room is open until 5, but the kitchen closes at 3:30pm.

VERY DISAPPOINTING! My husband and I have been wanting to try this place due to its good reviews. Little did we know it would be a waste of time and money! Upon arriving we were seated at a small table for 2 and them promptly left alone for a good 5-10 minutes. Finally one of the servers stopped to ask if we wanted coffee. After another 5-10 minutes a young man delivered our drinks and asked to take our order. I had questions about the menu, but he could not answer them because "this is only his second day here". So, I ordered the scrambled egg with Swiss cheese on a croissant. My husband ordered an omelet with cheddar cheese and mushrooms. By the time our food arrived, we had easily been in the restaurant 30-40 minutes. By now my husband's first (and what would be his only) cup of coffee is almost empty. The food was VERY bland, dry & tasteless! Husband's omelet had tomato which he did not order. I have had much better croissants from the freezer section of Trader Joe's! Remember....this is supposed to be a French restaurant! No one ever stopped again to see if my husband wanted more coffee, and it was impossible to get any server's attention. By this time, our server has gone MIA! After waiting another 10 minutes for our bill, we finally went to the cash register to ask for it. We even seriously talked about dining and dashing (which we would never do!) since they obviously did not seem interested in whether or not we did pay. We did not leave any tip as we felt we could have received better service at McDonald's! So...to sum this up....BAD SERVICE & BAD, DRY, TASTELESS FOOD! Obviously we will not be returning. I am surprised at the good reviews! Maybe you have to be a "regular" to get the good stuff at this place.

I have eaten both breakfast and lunch here, and carried out pastries... Immaculately clean, easy to park, and incredible scents. The service and friendly attitude is great, and the foods are fantastic. I haven't had anything I didn't like.

This is a cute place. I probably should have ordered the pot pie or an omelet or a dessert - maybe my experience would have been more memorable. I had a croissant (heavy and doughy instead of flaky) and tea and a salad. The salad, which was the special, was nice.

I go to DDF for its cakes and pastries. I frequented the first DDF in Marietta when it was still getting started somewhere close to 10 years back and have been going back to it all this time any time I need something for a special occasion or for a nice treat. Check out their web site for a list with pictures of the dozen plus types of cakes - beautifully made, both aesthetically and taste-wise. Love the Black Forest, Georgia oh Georgia, Napoleon, Chocolate Grand Marnier, wow, I could go on and on. Especially love their special occasion items like Buche-de-Noel cake during Christmas and chocolate Easter bunnies! Too cute (and tasty). Many of their pastries have wine or other alcohol infused in them, which shows to me that they do take what they produce very seriously. The restaurants serve food now and those don't disappoint. Freshly made crepes, quiches, sandwiches. I wish they opened late, as in till 10pm so I can make a quick pastry run after the kids are in bed. I've seen the owners at both locations, spoke to them some time back and it was great to chat about the part of France they're from.

Ok I have to give this place a 4 stars for just the beignets!!! My co-worker brought in some goodies one morning and I couldn't resist. I had to have a beignet and OMG!!!! I couldn't stop eating them. We've ordered them twice since then and now I'm dying to try Douceur's lunch menu.

I like the food here well enough and the coffee is decent, but I am very disappointed with the service. Our waitress (a young girl with dark hair) brought our food and when we were done and ready to preset coffee she ignored us. We had dirty plates in front of us for 20 minutes. Luckily a more attentive waiter (a taller young man) brought us coffee and was more enthusiastic about serving us. When we wanted to pay we had to wait in line for another 20 minutes behind everyone buying pastries and cakes. I don't work at a bakery but I know it doesn't take 5 minutes to get a cake out of the display case. Also the decorations are a bit trite. It's a French restaurant, I get it. You don't have to have pictures of the Eiffel tower and children holding baguettes on the wall. I like the food, it just feels like a shame that I can't enjoy eating it because of the restaurant's faults. This place has some work to do before I go back again.

My husband found the original Douceur de France at Glover St. 6 years ago. This place moved right around the corner to 277 South Marietta Parkway Southwest Marietta, GA 30064. I was stopping at old location for fresh baked goods every time I was around Marietta square. Love it! Their pastries are amazing. I took my mom for breakfast on her B-day one time and it was delicious! My husband had lunch at the old location some time ago. He said it a little pretty pricey for European style portions, but everything was very tasty. I always order cakes for my family's B-days from there. Absolutely delicious! Recommend to everyone.

Been here about 4 times over the past 2 years. Today was the worst. Service was very poor! Quality of food is very good. Quantity is fair. This morning (11/29/13), after our server (dark hair, middle aged woman) brought our food, she never checked back with us again... no coffee warm-ups, no water refills, nothing.. Worst service I've had in years! She also knew we wanted to put in a "to-go" order, but didn't come back for that either. I had to go to the register myself to put in the to-go order. My server saw me standing there and walked right past me without a word. Another server asked if I needed help.

Update: I recently went back with a group & have gone back several times since them. The quiche is now something special - flaky crust, custard-like filling, divine. I wish the lentil salad with bacon was a permanent menu item. Though service is still a bit slow, it has improved as well. This place has moved from 3 to 4 stars for me. Service was OK, food was OK, but nothing was outstanding. I wanted so much to like this place better. I live quite close and was excited to have another fun option for lunch. When I say service was OK, I mean that if you aren't one who speaks up, you may be left sitting and waiting. And, there are literally groups of people who show up right at 11 to claim large areas of tables. I don't know if they pre-planned (based on the reactions of the staff, it didn't seem that way), but I noted that it was a better idea, if dining with 1-2 others, to sit in the upper area closer to the front windows to avoid this rush. I enjoyed my quiche, but it wasn't anything special. The crust was a bit thick and the promised filling was a bit sparse. It is certainly a large enough serving to satisfy a large appetite. My son was most enamoured with the dessert case filled with wonderful looking French pastries. We selected a few items to take home & had a chocolate tart there. This is where service fell apart. It took an exceptionally long time for anyone to pay attention to us at the case, though plenty of people were back & forth to the tables. Finally, once our order was taken for what we wanted to eat there, we were told our server would bring it to the table. Though I saw the dessert plated & waiting behind the counter, the server was not made aware until he came out 10 minutes later. The tart's crust was also overly thick. The chocolate on top was divine. I was grateful for the tasty last bite.

Lemon tarts that make your taste buds really happy, Creme Brulee French toast... did you hear me? I said they take the fresh bread and dip it into super yummy goodness juice - then make it crispy and delicious - and THEN put berries and whip cream on it! WOOOOOO! it is crazy yummy. The bacon is fine, but nothing special for the cost (I am a meat candy snob I guess) but even if you are insane and don't like french toast there have amazing pastries and cakes as well as omelets and true french food and fresh croissants. Just go and eat there - there are like 3 locations now. Seriously, you have no excuse NOT to.

Okay - it's a weird location and a bit hard to find. Though it is pretty crowded on weekend mornings - so parking can be a problem in the lot behind the building. HOWEVER, the goods are pretty darn authentic and remind me of my carefree childhood in Germany. I live close by so I usually get baked goods to go. I love the croissants, raisin roll and the apple turnover, which uses applesauce instead of apple slices. If you want authentic French baked goods in Roswell - this is THE place. Ca Plane Pour Moi.

First of all, it is a cute place. heard it can be very crowded, but this day it wasn't thank goodness. Our waiter was ok, but our meals took a while to be served. The weird thing was my quiche was on a plate so small it barely was big enough to hold it. There was no fruit or any kind of accompaniment with it. It was good, not great and not sure it was worth the money. It is very chaotic at the front checkout. But everyone is nice. Not sure if I'll go back.

Oh la la! Quite a cute little piece of France in the middle of suburban Atlanta. Enjoyed lunch there on a Wednesday - it was busy but not packed. Food was great - we had crepes, a croque monsieur, and the chicken pot pie. Sampled the desserts, and in order of decreasing yumminess - creme brulee, a peach tartlike thing, and strawberry shortcake. Our server was nice and fairly attentive, though it would be nice for them to tell you beforehand to pay at the counter. Maybe post a sign or something on the door, or write it on those number flags that are on each table, because we sat around lollygagging and wondering where our server was with our check after he'd cleared away the dishes and took our to-go order for the desserts.

The four stars is more for the palmiers than the food. The palmiers are some of the crispest I have ever had and they don't leave a nasty, mouth lining residue like some others I have had. The French toast was a good (and different) French toast. Interestingly, they serve it with a creme brulee glaze on top! It was covered with strawberries and bananas in a light strawberry syrup. The goat cheese red pepper toast on top of salad was also good and had that nice sharp goat cheese flavor. Definitely a nice way to wake up in the morning. I haven't tried the desserts, but I will be back for sure! This is a nice cafe to eat a good meal and to have a conversation.

It's a quaint little place, but I'm a fan of the atmosphere. It feels like a house made into a restaurant. The coffee was delicious and I ordered the Salmon and egg panini. It was so good! My friends ordered some pastries as well and we were all satisfied. My friend ordered the French toast and he said it was one of the best he's had. The croissants were great too. Last but not least, the Hash brown was the best hash brown I ever ate. I can't wait to go there again!

Mmmm where do I start, went here for brunch and it was very scrumptious. The pastries all looked so good. I love french food. I would like to come here every day if I could. C'est tres bon!! I do wish they were open later so that we can pick up desserts and pastries. I wish they had a bigger parking lot.

Wonderful, everything we tried is great. Croissants, beignets, and pastries are fresh and remind me of Paris.

Initially I was bummed that I couldn't have breakfast at 11:30am (they stopped serving it at 11am), but upon finding suitable breakfast-y options on the lunch menu, was perfectly content. The food was very, very good, and all the pastries in the cases looked amazing. I ordered the French Toast and the daily quiche. I don't know how anyone could get full off just one of those entries, but together, they were just right. Service was slightly lacking, but the ladies were nice and cordial (and I wasn't in a rush), so I overlooked it. Glad I found this nice breakfast/lunch spot OTP. Now that I know they have another location in Marietta, I'll surely be back. Note: They're not open on Sundays as of yet. The manager said they were working on changing that soon.

Love the almond croissant, will be back to try other pastries. The omelette wasn't as good as we expected, probably because of our selection of filling or is that how authentic French omelette is cooked? We were there just in time to be seated before the crowd starts building up on a Saturday morning, a couple that seated themselves next to our table left the restaurant as they were not attended to after about 5 minutes. Get there early to beat the crowd. Definitely check this place out if you love pastries.

Just fyi, they make a delicious King Cake for all of you celebrating Mardi Gras outside of New Orleans. The sandwiches are delicious as well.

Right off the bat I give five stars for great food at a good value and plenty of parking. Good service, wonderful choices on the menu and in bakery. Mostly I'm reviewing so I can post the photos I took. We ate as a group of five and were easily accommodated. I cannot speak for the others, but I can say I heard no complaints. I ordered the 3 egg omelet at the suggestion of the waiter who says it is quite popular. It works like this: the eggs had a base price (today estimating like 5.75. Then you get to add fillers, so I ordered mushrooms and swiss cheese and ham. There other meats and cheeses to fit your taste. Even had brie cheese as a choice. It comes with your choice of croissant or baguette and I picked the croissant. They serve it with "land o lakes" butter. My favorite butter. My only complaint is that I thought the outside of the omelet was over done, like a little brown on the outside. I like it moister and not so cooked.

It's very French - both in food and service. There's something disheartening about standing at the counter waiting for your to go order, seeing it wrapped up ready to go in the kitchen, but having to wait for the people in the kitchen to finish their conversation before bringing it out to you. The food is great and worth a little frustration, but I'd eat there more often otherwise.

Douceur de France will forever have a place in my heart. When we decided to move out of the city into Roswell for financial reasons, the silver lining was that we would be so close to Douceur de France. We are here at least once per week. Why? For the food, the desserts, the charming atmosphere, and the friendly service. We love both the breakfast and lunch options. Let's see, there is the jambon buerre fromage, the Frenchie (great if you love brie), any of their quiches, or even just a croissant with butter and jam. DDF has so many desserts to choose from, and honestly, we have never tried one we did not like. Because we go so often, the wait staff know that my husband drinks like a camel and always stay on top of refilling his drinks. There isn't anything better on a Saturday morning for us than stopping by Douceur de France. And if you visit, be sure to watch out for the stray kitties that call the fringes of the parking lot home!

One of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area. The food is consistently good. Try the chicken pot pie -- wonderfully flaky crust. The desserts are little works of art that melt in your mouth. They also have French bread that can be bought by the loaf as well as desserts that would be nice to give as a gift. The only downside I can see is it does get a bit crowded, but it's worth it.

Just returned from Europe with a craving for authentic French croissants. Wow, truly the best croissants I've ever had, here or over there. Buttery, flaky, warm, crisp bite, melt in your mouth...regular, almond, blueberry or chocolate...you can't go wrong here if only the best will do. We enjoyed them with espresso and a cappuccino. A warm baguette to go also was exceptional...crisp on the outside, moist on the inside and rich with flavor, not bland like so many that try to pass for authentic. We'll come back for lunch; lot's of interesting offerings on the menu that we want to try.

The food is good but the service could use work. It was unclear who was being helped and who was doing the helping (seating) when upon arrival. Our waitress was about to finish her shift I suppose but instead of asking if we need anything else or the check she should have explained her situation and/or let someone else know to check on us. My water glass was very low before she came over yet she never offered to refill my glass. Then we sat there for longer than necessary before someone cleared our dishes from the table and brought us the check. Still no offer to refill my water and by that point I was ready to leave. No one came back around to collect payment so we had to walk up to the register. They aren't outright rude at this place but they are not very welcoming. I was pretty disappointed since this place got good reviews. Also, parking can be a bit tricky (fyi in case you have a large vehicle). Luckily I have a small car and I'm proficient at parallel parking. The pastries were pretty good but they didn't really knock my socks off. I'd say give it a try IF you are in the area and want French food. I'm not sure I will go back.

I have yet to get anything at Douceur de France that is below fantastic. The sit-down brunch and lunches have been fantastic with customizable crepes, mouth watering quiches, and the best menu item, the chicken pot pie. I always make an effort to bring home a box of macaroons or petit fours to enjoy later. The macaroons are the best in the city and the petit fours are moist and full of flavor. I just brought home of their jarred potato leek soup and as I was home, I did lick the bowl. You will too.

Yelp wins again. Almost stopped at a waffle house because of a time crunch. Did a yelp search instead for a breakfast&brunch place. Awesome, I had a chicken & bree omlette, my girlfriend had smoked salmon benedict. Wish we could have tried more.

This is such an awesome restaurant the staff is very friendly ( not very talkative , but friendly ) and the food is OUTSTANDING! If you have not eaten here for breakfast I would recommend you go. The prices are reasonable. For two people I usually get out of there for about 25USD (including tip). Try the Eggs Benedict!

I just had take out from this place, and it was my second time going there. The first time was great - the food was great, the service was great...I was absolutely thrilled to find a real French place nearby. This time, it was a little different. The service was fine and the food was good, but my beef bourguignon came in a small soup container, and it was mostly the broth (braising liquid, soup, gravy, whatever you want to call it) and mushrooms. I had to search for the beef, and when I found it, there were two small pieces. For the $9 that it costs for the food, I honestly didn't think it was worth it. I'll probably go back, because the pastries are *fantastic*, but I don't think I'll be going back for the food anytime soon.

Douceur reminds me of those small bistros in Montreal. Friendly, lay back and good simple food, nothing fancy, just fresh ingredients and good portions. Taste wise, the flavoring is not very strong but for a lay back luncheon w/ friends, this is a good place to hit it with.

Have never eaten in but I can say the baked goods are outstanding. From the breads to the pastries, they are the best in all of Atlanta. This is a fmily owned and operated bakery/cafe. The owners are both French imports. Both the original Marietta store and the new Alpharetta location are the best!

My mother and I went here for breakfast the other morning. The food was pretty good. The place was constantly busy and it seemed that quite a few people came in to purchase from the little bakery section at the entrance. We did not get anything from the bakery this time but we did go and look at the selections and they all looked delicious! I ordered a Croque Madame and my mom had an omelette with a croissant. Both of us were happy with the food. The only thing this place seemed lacking in was service. When we first came in our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable... somewhere along the way we could switched to a lady who didn't serve us at all even though she was supposed to be. We got zero coffee or water refills...my mom had to go up to the counter after 10 min. of waiting (after requesting a refill) and ask again there. Terrible service. I am giving three stars based on the food, atmosphere, and hope that it was a one time fluke (the service being terrible).

I've eaten at the restaurant in Marietta and liked it. I've tried the Roswell one a couple of times since I moved to this side of town. And it never fails to disappoint. The pastry selection is limited and not as good. But what really is bad is the service. This morning was the last time i'll go there, They've always had "french" service (in other words "screw you" service) but today took first prize in bad. I ordered a latte and said I was ready to order breakfast. the server took the latte order and came back 15 minutes later with it and to take my order. I ordered crepes with strawberries bananas whipped cream and walnuts and a side of bacon. The crepes came 15 minutes later and the server (not the same one) put a baguette on the table. I looked confused and he said "a side of baguette." I said no, I ordered a side of bacon. So he takes the baguette and goes to get the bacon. I look at the crepe. No bananas. Oh well. I decide to eat it anyway, and break off a piece with my fork. Nutella in the middle. So when my bacon comes I sent back the crepes too. Now the replacement crepes and bacon came in less than 5 minutes, so why so long for the wrong order? Oh and meantime another server comes by with teabags so I could select the flavor of tea I didn't order. Their pastries are good, the crepes ok, but neither is necessarily the best I've had. I know other places with food as good and much better service (though it's not difficult to top theirs).

I was so excited that douceur de france opened a roswell location. I've had pastries from the marietta store in the past. I grew up in Canada where we study french language and culture from pre school. It's so exciting to have this gem in the burbs among hundreds of mexican and bbq places. My husband and I went on a Saturday for breakfast. The cottage is airy and roomy and we didn't have to wait. I had the croques monsieur which was light and tasty. The beschamel sauce was fantastic. My husband had a potato meat dish (I forget the name). Coming from a euro background, I believe in having sweets earlier in the day, so we shared a piece of st. Tropez cake. This is how cake sould be made. Like my entre, the st. Tropez was light and tasty. It had two fluffy cake layers with custard in the middle. It was a refreshing change from typical american cake which is heavy on sugar and icing. We bought some 'pain du chocolad' to go, but it didn't last long. Oh...our waitress was a sweet french lady and she was superb. It's not La parilla or McDonalds in here. I felt like I could relax, have a great meal and not feel bad about what I ate. I was satisfied, but didn't feel like anything was too heavy. I love this place and will go back regularly. My only recommendation is that they open a place closer to me in alpharetta, pehaps near the main st. City hall area!

Went to lunch here on Saturday with my mom. It's slightly difficult to find if you don't know what you're looking for since it's on a relatively non-descript part of Hwy 9 in Roswell. But, it's well worth the find. Service was a little slow as they were absolutely packed at about 1 p.m. A few of the waitresses speak French better than English so I did get to use my rudimentary French skills. I had the panini poulet - chicken, tomato, brief, red onion jam - it was delicious. My mom had a traditional croque monsieur (French version of a grilled cheese). I would order a side of chips or fruit though, which we didn't do, unless of course, you're saving room for pastries. Be prepared to be patient if it's crowded, but I thought it was well worth it.

Douceur de France was definitely a pleasant place to dine in. The quality of the food, presentation and atmosphere was on point! I had quiche & a bowl of fruit salad on one occasion and their Panini & pastry on another. The price is a little on the high side but the quality of the food makes up for it. Their coffee is unbelievable!!

Nice spot for breakfast or lunch. The decor isn't much and parking is a pain. The service can be friendly but slow. The food is delicious but expensive for what you get. A place for "ladies who lunch". Tiny outdoor area facing parking lot. Pastries to go look delicious. Good place to get an unusual birthday cake.

I gave this place 4 stars because although the food was very good, the service was lacking. Not enough staff for sat breakfast. After our meal we sat at the table for a long time and when we asked for the check we were told to pay up front and provide the table number. The couple next to us overheard this and also got up to pay. There was a line of people waiting to be sat and I felt that the lack of staff and direction were not helping them turn tables around quickly. Clearly this place has a following and loyal customers but it is very small inside and very cramped Parking is also tricky b/c it is limited. Food is excellent and we will return

Douceur is my favorite breakfast/lunch spot in the entire Atlanta metro area. It may be a little out of the way for most, but definitely worth the drive. Everything is delicious and homemade: the bread, crepes, preserves, soups, desserts. They have better croissants than anywhere I have been in the United States. The tomato basil soup boasts a perfect balance of spices and creamy tomato. I always take a soup or half baked loaf of french bread to go. A must try here in Atlanta.

This little french place has huge 'Bonjour!' signs off Hwy 9. You can't miss it. It's situated in a little house off the highway and has a charming french staff and a wide selection of french food. I can't say much for the entire menu because the only thing I really want and always get is their version of the chicken pot pie: the Tourte au Poulet. It's not quite the traditional chicken pot pie but I'm glad it's not! It's a beautiful, flaky, large, and delicious. The filling has a generous amount of both chicken and mushrooms and the thickness is perfect. They offer an extra serving of sauce for extra and it's completely worth doing. There is a wide selection of desserts and treats displayed in their pastry windows and shelves and their coffee isn't bad at all. Service was fast, waiters were attentive and the food was wonderful.

This is a super cute breakfast place that's clearly somebody's labor of love. I will therefore cut it some slack on the food, which while fine, was nothing special. We came for brunch & I had smoked salmon eggs benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise sauce was good. Solid food, nothing particularly inventive. I will say that the coffee was pretty horrible, weak and burnt tasting. Some room for improvement there.

Douceur de France: Frumpy, drab old-world cafe with average food. Naturally, with a description like that, you can expect a clientele that makes you second guess whether or not you accidentally stumbled into a retirement home. I'm amazed that I didn't notice any doilies... this place felt like it should've had doilies. I ordered the Quiche Lorraine and a cup of Tomato-Basil Soup. My wife ordered the Chicken Pot Pie. My quiche filled with ham, bacon, and swiss cheese was entirely average... like something that could've easily been whipped up in any average home cook's kitchen. It wasn't "bad", but it wasn't anything special either. I will give props to the tomato-basil soup. It was creamy, but not overly rich. Just right. My wife also described her Chicken Pot Pie as "average"... just a few notches above what could be found in the freezer section at your local grocery store. For dessert, we ordered an assortment of 4 macarons (lemon, pistachio, salted caramel, and raspberry). The macarons were too dense and chewy, rather than the light and airy well-executed macarons that we have had elsewhere. Average. At least they know that their food is average, as it was priced accordingly. Though the 2-star Yelp rating description of "Meh. I've experienced better" feels like an appropriate statement to make about my experience at Douceur de France, I don't have the heart to give them 2-stars, only because nothing that I experienced was "bad" and our young waiter was definitely busting his butt off to take care of all his tables. 3-stars feels about right. For French cafe cuisine at the same price-point, I'd opt to go to La Madeleine instead.

ALL OF FRANCE IS WEEPING TODAY!! AND I AM UNDONE!! Okay, It is birthday weekend and expectations are high because this is my first trip to this particular bakery. We arrive at the bakery just after 7:30 to get the best selection. The selection is very limited and nothing looks as good as that other bakery I visited the other day. HMMMMM I've come all this way so I feel obligated to order something. I order two blueberry pastries and my husband gets the chocolate and pear danish. We take it to go and I'm so excited that I tear into it as soon as I get into the car. I start chewing and chewing and chewing. This is the toughest pastry I have ever eaten. It is just tragic. The top of the pastry was just barely tolerable, but the bottom was like eating fabric. Very weird and inedible. Please get the heavy handed biscuit maker out of the kitchen! I have never in my life had to toss out a french pastry. It goes against everything that is decent and right with the world. Unfortunately there is a first time for everything and this was the time. As I stated, the pastry was really inedible and not at all characteristic of french pastry. The perfect French pastry, (Sweet Tentations) is soft and delicate and simply melts in your mouth and chewing is an option. The dough would never be overworked to the point of toughness, (someone worked this pastry like it was a southern biscuit). The fruit should be fresh, delicious and fully intact. This was not. My husband's pastry was soggy from the pear and overwhelmed by the strong taste of a dark bitter-sweet chocolate. Ewww. Obviously, this restaurant is NOT recommended.

This place is great for breakfast. Right down the road from where we live so the wifey and I typically go in at least once a month on a Sat morning. The crepes are awesome, service is great and the staff is very friendly. Definitely grab some little snacks for the road too, the eclairs are delicious!!!

Had breakfast here for the first time and it was really good. The staff was all friendly and the food was simple but good. Eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was not overly sweet and there was the perfect amount. Too many places drench the food with hollandaise. Outside of France or Bouchon bakery in Napa, this place also has some of the best macaroons we've had.

Have always lived this place even though it is a 45-minute drive from our house. Their new French Toast is divine and their Chicken Pot Pie is always amazing. Many wonderful daily specials, delicate pastries, and succulent entrees and breakfast items. Can't sat enough wonderful things about the food. However, today is the second visit in a row where our waiter seemed to completely disappear for about 20 minutes. Twice we had to flag down other wait-staff to get coffee or water refills. The second coffee refill request, our server was at the table, we made the request, and instead of bringing the coffee back immediately, he stopped to help customers at the bakery counter, then began working the register and forgot about our coffee while other waitstaff were gathered talking beside the kitchen entrance, and not looking to see if seated customers had needs. Excellent, excellent food. Lately, service is spotty at best. We were here for a leisurely meal, so someone in a hurry would have been livid. Miss the former high standards that have made this drive a must in the past. Might try a weekday to see if that's better service-wise.

Have I been living under a rock? Actually, no. I heard about this place before I was very active on Yelp and kept putting off going because when I lived in Alpharetta off of Holcomb Bridge, I found it inconvenient to go to Roswell. (Shut up. I grew up and lived in Connecticut until I was 21 and to us Nutmeggers, driving 15 minutes to work is a long commute.) I came for breakfast one weekend morning and I thought it was the perfect reason to finally check the Douceur out. Especially since I have been searching for authentic French food since having returned from visiting the country a few years (if you can believe this, France was not on my list of places to visit and if this is your case, swiftly change your stance on that and go!), especially pastries. I have found a few places to satisfy some of the niches. I found a bakery in Gwinnett that I love to go to for baguettes, croissants, and other sweets (that aren't intricate pastries). This place would conjure memories of a boulangerie, rather than a patisserie. I go to another place for chocolates and pastries in Chamblee, but I was still looking for more French fare and mind-blowing macarons. I wasn't too hungry so I decided that I would order a crêpe with banana slices, strawberries, and sliced almonds. I skipped Nutella, even though many Parisians love to get their thin pancakes filled with this chocolatey, hazelnut spread to fill up their bellies as they stroll the pedestrian-friendly streets of the City of Light. Light with fresh ingredients, my breakfast aimed to please. My breakfast mate got the Panini Salmon, which came with a side of French Hash Browns. For the love of potatoes, get this crispy shredded potato patty filled with green onions and parmesan cheese. Just fantastic. Nice service, with especially friendly attitudes for regular customers. To add authenticity to the place, most of the servers speak French and chat warmly with their Francophone patrons in la langue française. Before you take off, peruse the dessert and bread cases. It is so hard to resist the beautiful baguettes, shiny, ganache-covered éclairs, vividly-colored macarons, and burnt-sugar topped crème brûlée, so just don't. While you're at it, grab a pain aux raisins (which is simple and incredible!) and a slice of apple tart. Well, what are you waiting for? Just make sure to eat more along the pace of Americans, rather than the French. There's most likely a line of people waiting for your table, so be nice and let them get in on this wonderful experience.

J'adore cette place! The food is great and the atmosphere is very french!! (Minus the stereotypical attitude). The first time I came I tried the chicken pot pie which was mind blowingly delicious. This trip, I chose a less filling meal so I could have an eclair for dessert. The Ham and Cheese sandwich was just like Paris (butter instead of Mayo--no lettuce or tomato). I had chips with it. And for dessert, a vanilla custard filled eclair that was not too sweet and just flaky enough! The ONLY way I knew I wasn't in Paris was more than one ice cube in my iced tea, and the server was not surly. LOL

LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Off the bat, I have to tell you about the items that just rocked my socks off: - Chicken pot pie: this is more of a puff pastry with chicken, topped with an AMAZING mushroom cream sauce. - Chocolat royal: a chocolate mousse confection with layers of light wafers. Not too sweet and absolutely delicious - Vanilla and chocolate macarons: normally I wouldn't go for the basic flavors with macarons, but DdF does these two flavors really well. As a bonus, they are only $1.20 each. Pretty great considering the owner hand makes them himself (someone explained to us that he is a control freak and likes to manage perfection). - Fruit tarts: These run out fast, so that should tell you something. The crust is like a thick, buttery cookie. The perfect vessel for containing that wonderful custard and glazed fruit. I took my fiance for brunch. Despite this being a French place, we had fast service. We split a crepe, he got the chicken pot pie and I got the quiche (it was good, but doesn't hold a candle to the chicken pot pie). I ended up spending about 50 bucks total on our brunch, two desserts eaten in the cafe and then four fruit tarts and four macarons. Worth it.

"Qu'ils mangent de la brioche" "Let them eat cake" Marie Antoinette For those of you who opted to take French instead of Spanish in high school, THIS is THE chance you have been waiting for to finally use it! Having driven by many times, I finally decided to stop in for breakfast. The shop is very inviting, attractive counter and displays welcome you as you enter. I was personally welcomed as well by a very friendly employee. The owner and staff all speak French, adding to the fun of the restaurant. I ordered an omelet with Brie, accompanied by a croissant. I was slightly underwhelmed with both, although not a crumb was left on my plate. Before I left I ordered a couple of beignets, and these were fantastic. I could not resist picking up some macaroons, and these are what brought up the star count. I ordered lemon, pistachio, and coffee macaroons. All were great, the lemon macaroon was incredibly good, one of the best I have ever had. C'est la vie!

After getting off to a rocky start, this little French bistro and bakery has turned into a dynamo. Their pastries and confections alone are worth the price of a meal and yet; for delicious, freshly-made French cuisine, the prices are very fair. The menu has a great range with some classical French items as well as some more domestic dishes. I particularly like the beef bourguignon and my girlfriend loves the croque madam. Their specials are always great too. I often just ask for the quiche du jour. As far as the sweets, you can close your eyes and point to the case without going wrong. The pastries are some of the finest I've ever tasted and they're always prepared fresh with master craftsmanship. I bought a king cake for Fat Tuesday and it was so wonderful. Sometimes, I just take croissants to go for breakfast, but I hate skipping out on their crepes. They're delicious too. If it sounds like I'm gushing, it's because I am. If I'm forced to point to anything that displeases me, I would caution against going on Saturday. They tend to be really busy all day. I just wish they were open at night because I frequently find myself longing for their food at dinner time. If you haven't been, go. Go now. You will not regret it.

This is my first visit and can you say.....yummy;) The croissant is super buttery and flaky. I will be back to try some of the other goodies in the case.

I'm wondering if there isn't another DdF in a parallel universe some where- as the one I visited is not the DdF that so many have reviewed. I have to say I have rarely ever seen a more disorganized and amateurishly inept front of house operation in my life. While all of the staff was very very young, it was completely obvious that they were un trained and un supervised. That is a failure of management. It was the basics - like not wiping down tables before attempting to seat a guest- with obvious food debris from the prior patron on the table; or serving coffee and never bringing cream, in spite of being asked to do so. They also need a second cashiering station - as every ticket has to be brought behind the display cases to be rung up- which only adds to the disorder at the front of the store. Again a failure of management/ ownership. Now on to our meal, my date order a basic omelet with broccoli and Bree cheese, and I ordered the ratatouille & eggs- nothing too special - they're front page on the menu. I knew from the wait to have a server take our coffee request and bring it to the table - that this was another service in need of a timer - and I did. At 10 minutes the first cup of coffee was gone and a server finally asked if we wanted more (almost obvious as both of our cups were dry- and we hadn't eaten) at 12 minutes they returned with the coffee but without cream; at 15 minutes the cream made it to the table. At 18 minutes - we had breakfast. An omelet is pretty basic stuff, and this was as plain jane as it gets - but it wasn't hot - it was just warm. The eggs on my ratatouille had been poached, but then cooked to rubbery oblivion- the yokes hard and the whites - they were the consistency of a rubber mouse pad- the ones covered in nylon. What should have been a vegetable stew - was more like a soup than a stew- glad they brought a spoon but you needed a knife to cut the eggs . So, no, I will not be back- unless I find the worm-hole through the time-space continuum to the DdF in the parallel universe- the one that earned all the four and five star ratings.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday. We tried a crepe, quiche, and Napoleon. All of the food was good, especially the Napoleon. My biggest issue was the slow service.

BEST EGGS BENEDICT I'VE EVER HAD! Okay, so this was my 2nd time at this restaurant (1st time was at their Marietta location). My salmon and eggs were season perfectly and the hollandaise was so good! Me also ordered an almond chocolate croissant, beignet, and pumpkin pie to go. Beignet was standard, and the pumpkin pie filling was great but the crust was not fork tender as I couldn't cut through the FILO dough. The croissant was the BEST! My only regret was that I didn't buy 2, lol!!

Great place. I'm normally not a quiche person, but their quiche is awesome. Deserts are equally good, croissants, macarons, etc..... Only complaint would be to not get the " Monsieur" sandwich since it doesn't look like the picture on the menu (bread). Don't get me wrong but I wanted the type and shape of the bread in the picture, not loaf bread, although the sandwich is very tasty. Other than the one sandwich you can't go wrong at this place........

Came for breakfast post-workout with some friends and had an OK experience. Food was good, service was not. We entered through the back door (from the parking lot area) and made our way to the the front register, where it appeared people were ordering and then seating themselves and taking their food to tables. We stood at the front, decided on our meals, and then got in line to order and pay. It wasn't until the first person in our party had ordered and paid that we were asked if we wanted to be seated. Confused, we said yes, we wanted a table to eat our meals. It turns out that we would be assigned a server to take our orders. At this point we already knew what we wanted, so we didn't need the whole "What can I get you to drink" and "I'll give you a few minutes to decide". So we provided her our orders immediately, to which she seemed a little peeved. Moral of the story is - there is no formal hostess stand, so if you want to be seated and waited upon, you have to ask specifically to be seated (or in our case, wait to be asked). Otherwise you can order "to go" at the register. I had the bennedict panini and it was on point. Nothing spectacular but good all the same. I also ordered a single beignet which for 75 cents, will satiate your sweet tooth if you had already looked at the array of tarts, pastries, and other treats they have. I also had a cup of coffee, which was fresh and good, and appeared to come with unlimited refills if you were dining in (and if your server offered, which ours did not, but it looked like other servers were to their tables). My total ticket came to $11.50 - for all that I ordered, I felt that was a good price. I was really enjoying the company of my friends, but I felt like service was SLOW! Our waitress asked if we wanted our checks and then proceeded to disappear for 10 or more minutes, then came back and asked if we had gotten our checks yet. ?!? I'm not sure if she had beef with our table due to the initial confusion, but the service was definitely French-esque----they ignore you until you indicate you need something. The experience was okay but not outstanding, and for that I won't make a specific trek out here to dine here again. But if I'm in the area, it's a good choice to stop by for a bite to support a local business.

LOVE this place! The food is fantastic! We love this place and go as often as possible. I've honestly never had a bad experience or food I didn't like. The caramel macaroons are amazing! The only negative thing I can say is the parking is limited and a little awkward.

The salmon Panini was perfect. Two beautifully poached eggs and a very nice light hollandaise. Our server was informative and attentive and we lacked for nothing on a busy Saturday morning! Merci!

This place was highly recommended by a friend. I thought it was just okay. The quiche was good but not spectacular. The almond croissant was just okay. Not a ton of flavor. Glad I tried it, but probably wouldn't go back.

I had the day off, so I decided to take my mom out to lunch here since she admires French restaurants. Having read about the service in previous reviews already, I knew that this would be a leisurely lunch thing since my visit confirmed slow service. But that's how the French are, right? We should take our time and enjoy our lunch. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but I wasn't too impressed. My mom and I shared a panini poulet (chicken panini) with a side of the green salad, and the quiche of the day: asparagus and provolone. I'm not entirely sure why it took a bit of time of get our food, but the quiche was small. I mean, it's enough for us to both try and enjoy. It's rather creamy, smooth and It's got great flavor but seems just a tad bit expensive to me. The panini sandwich, well, probably shouldn't order something that's more Italian than French so shame on me, but the flavor was decent. I could taste the balsamic vinegar with the nice slices of chicken breast. However, there was nothing "wow" about the food. The green salad comes dressed and it's a refreshing to have with the quiche and panini. We didn't have the stomach for the sweets. I was a little disappointed to not see any baguettes except for the refrigerator ones they sold for you to bake at home. They do have a decent selection of macarons, but let's face it, these things are available in many bakery/cafes these days. It's a cute restaurant and service is just ok. It's interesting that most of the waiters/waitresses there do speak French, so you do feel somewhat transported to France for a lunch hour, but I think I'll stick to Collet's.

"Did you know that there are four hundred and fifty-two official government cheeses in this country? Don't you think that's incredible? To come up with four hundred and fifty-two ways of classifying what is basically a bacterial process?" -- French Kiss (1995) What a great little spot for brunch! My first time at this location the other day (having been to the Marietta one a few times) and I was not disappointed. Honestly, I didn't really need to look at the menu because I have my favorites. This place is quaint (aka small) but we did not have trouble finding a table, and our waiter came over pretty quickly. He seemed a little flustered, so he may have been new, but he did a decent job. We ordered drinks and off he went. While one of the people with us perused the menu (it can be really tough to navigate if it is your first time - not well organized, too many pictures), we remembered it was Roswell Restaurant Week and looked around to see what the specials might be - they weren't posted anywhere. Our server returned and we asked what the RRW deal was. He rattled it off kind of haphazardly, but we got the idea. Most of their entrees, also order coffee or tea and you get a side salad as well all for $10. I was the only one drinking coffee and I wanted the hashbrown not the side salad. Oh well. As usual, I ordered the Croque Monsieur - basically the yummiest version of a ham and cheese sandwich the French ever created. It is topped with bechamel sauce. I got my hashbrown side (baked with green onions) and went to town. Everything was rich, delicious - the right level of cheesy goodness with the saltiness of the ham. Not to heavy, but the right amount of food for brunch. When I went to pay, I bought some pastries for breakfast for the week (I'm a sucker for good French pastries). Chocolate Croissants, Blueberry and Cheese Danish and a coffee eclair - all wonderful in the days following. This is a wonderful spot for breakfast or brunch, or just to run in a buy some wonderful treats.

here's the downside about yelp. it brings false hopes and expectations. let me just say..I'm on the same boat as doug. am I just that unlucky?? the service, food, and interior of the place sucked. yes I said it, but the overall experience was just terrible that I wanted to slap somebody. let me just start my story, so you guys get the picture. me & the bf walked in and were NOT welcomed. wtf? we were so confused whether to seat ourselves or to order at the counter. we didn't get no "welcome", "hello", or "good afternoon". we just decided to walk to the counter since it was the safest choice and some guy with eyeliner comes out and says "this counter is only for take out". well the f$%&?! well excuse me, there weren't any lines. THEN, he goes and tells me "the kitchen is closed. you can only order drinks and deserts". another wtf moment. EVERYONE ON THIS YELP PAGE FAILED TO MENTION THIS! well, my bf already posted a review about this, but let me mention it again. **THEIR KITCHEN CLOSES AT 3-3:30 PM!!!** we came in a little after 3ish something and he said they already cleaned everything. then he finally nice enough to offer us the chance to order a sandwich or quiche. I guess oven foods are okay? we don't like quiches, so we each ordered a "croque monsieur". on the menu, the croque monsieur was described as "pain de mie (pullman bread), bechamel sauce, ham, and swiss cheese". supposedly this place was homey (momma's cooking style), authentic, and casual. AND that's how it came out..although, it was slightly below average. I make better croque monsieur at home than they do! the entire sandwich was such a disappointment that me & the bf didn't even finish it. we shelled out $7 for some bland, plain bread..some packaged ham, and probably packaged cheese. in addition, they put too much damn cheese. it was oily and sickening to eat. blech~ towards the end, we figured since it was a bakery..they could still redeem themselves. so, we picked out 2 macarons to try: chocolate and pistachio. so the sandwich was below mediocre, but the macarons were actually mediocre. nothing special about these. they were cold as hell like they were taken out of the freezer. the chocolate was alright, but the pistachio had no pistachio flavor. I rather just buy the packaged macarons at trader joes. as for table service, we didn't receive any NAPKINS with our food. we kept having to visit the front counter to ask for things. no table service here either, so don't expect that. I believe we were only smiled and checked on ONCE by this other guy. oh and to top it all, the guy with the eyeliner rung me up wrong. he charged me for something I DID NOT order. another wtf moment! I apologized, but gave me the wrong amount in return. I paid with card and he just handed me cash. the wrong amount of cash too. it was short by tax. ughh what a frustrating place. it just felt like he was trying to brush me off the whole entire time. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ what a horrific and disappointing experience. I don't even understand how they have 2 locations. is the marietta location better? I'm too skeptical and scarred to find out.

The only thing good about this place is the pastries. Everything else is an abomination. The ratatouille was a shame. The Nutella crepe was plain and soggy. The apple pastry was really good though.

We are fortunate to have such a first class bakery in Roswell. Some viewers have overhyped other local bakeries, which people in the burbs who don't eat in-town tend to do, but this bakery/patisserie truly shines. Their pastries are beautiful and taste as good as they look. They make a beautiful presentation for guests, and you can watch as their eyes light up when they first see the tray of beautiful desserts. The only dessert I was not quite as happy with was their poundcake-I thought it was a bit heavy and bland, but everything else they make is truly first class. I have also eaten lunch there a few times, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly love their elegant French version of a chicken pot pie (made with a croissant like dough) and their potato leek soup. They also make an excellent cup of coffee, Additionally, they have a couple of refrigerated cases, so you can take home soups, coq au vin, and partially baked French breads. If you have not already been to Douceur de France, you owe it to yourself to try it.

Went here for lunch today and it was good as usual. This was my first visit to the Roswell location, I had been to the one in Marietta many times. The atmosphere in Roswell is more inviting but the bakery is smaller and much less of a selection. I would definitely come back for a meal but probably go to Marietta if I want dessert.

On Memorial Day, my wife and I took friends for breakfast. This was our first visit and when we stepped through the door it was as if we entered a restaurant in France. It is quaint and the staff speaks French which also creates an air of authenticity. The food and coffee are delicious and the service was both friendly and efficient. I ordered the Panini Benedict and it was perfect. My wife had the waffle and she loved it. Our friends had the Three Egg Omelet with bacon and we all had the Hash Browns. They were a real treat. All in all it was an exceptional experience and we have already decided to come back. Can't wait to try their lunch menu. In addition you must try their pastries and French bread. Absolutely superb.

I was SO excited when they opened a second location this close to my house! I literally work from home more often just so I can come over here. As a Francophile, I can honestly say how refreshing it is to have an authentic French bakery so close. I am addicted to pistachio macarons and this is the only place in Atlanta I have found that makes a genuine macaron with ganache! YUM! It's setup like a tiny cafe and does have bistro patio seating out back. Quite simple setup and has a very tiny parking lot. Lunch is always busy and they serve breakfast all day! Food is VERY traditional and take you over the pond if only for an hour. The bakery breads are fresh and so many treats at the counter it is hard to choose. Bon appetit!

Good food that can transport you to France. Try the much tout about Pot Pie. It's really good. My husband ordered the croque monsieur, it was huge. If you are not hungry, do not order this. You will have to doggy bag it. The coffee is ok.

The food here is always good, but the service is sporadic. Hats off to the chef, but whoever is managing the waitstaff has a laissez faire attitude when it comes to service. Sometimes you will get your food in 15 minutes, other times it will take half an hour. Expect to wait at least 5 minutes for the check during lunch even when no one is there. Let's get to the food. It's worth coming back to this place for. Chicken Pot Pie - This is a really unusual chicken pot pie. The chicken is baked into a pastry and then there is a creamy sauce poured over the top. Get it. You will not regret the decision. Omelette - Excellent omelette...maybe the best one I've had in Atlanta. Panini Salmon - More like half of a panini. Do I care? No because this tastes fricken unbelievable. The salmon is the perfect temperature and the eggs are poached to perfection. Bread - It doesn't matter whether you got toast or a croissant. The bread is going to be good. I've taken home a baguette before. It's great. Napoleon - Amazing. Few places can match this confection. Really too bad about the service being so inconsistent or this place would get an automatic 5 stars for the quality of its food. Also, the hours are not the greatest. Call ahead to make sure they are not closed.

Light, airy décor and a stunning array of pastries -- unfortunately, the éclair we tried was as lackluster as the tired, overcooked quiche Lorraine -- and the croque Monsieur, which should have been a tempting puff of egg and melted cheese, was just skimpy and limp. None of the food tasted fresh, or as if quality ingredients had been used. Most of it wasn't even worth eating. Sorry, I wish I could give a better review.

Bit messy in the dining room - do we stand and wait to be seated? afterall, there was a line. The cashier then gestured to the first in line to "Go" and seat themselves, and the rest of us followed suit. Wait staff was super busy and stressed. Stopped one to take my order - mission accomplie. Food came fast enough. Crepe Complete, a buckwheat crepe with ham draped with an egg overeasy, and a big side of green salad. Big portion, taste alright. They did have many pastries and breads to offer. Didn't get round to trying them. Tight parking but manageable. With only ok food and a less than French ambience, I'm out.

Yelp Let Down Alert!!! Ok, so let me start by saying I LOVE FRENCH FOOD. I have dined at some of the best and most upscale restaurants as well as the tiny, cutesy hole-in-the-walls in the US as well as all over France. This place should not advertise itself as a French restaurant, it simply isn't deserving of the name... Food above all is at the heart of the matter. We ordered a Croque Madame and a Croque Monsieur (Mademoiselle style for both). This was already a sign that things were going to go downhill. Those who have eaten at proper french restaurants know that you're either one or the other and there's no "Mademoiselle" style (which this place calls adding an egg). Technicalities and nomenclature aside, the sandwiches were terrible. First the bread was very plain Kroger style white bread, the meat in my sandwich came out ICE COLD. It was literally still frozen. I don't even know how that's possible this sandwich should be the definition of warm gooey goodness and it was anything but that. While I sent my sandwich back and got another one shortly thereafter, it was still not good at all. Again the bread was very poor quality, there wasn't enough meat, cheese or bechamel sauce, just a few cheap ingredients between two equally poor slices of bread. Tried their desserts as well. The chocolate almond croissant, was waaaaaaaaay too doughy and thick. Forget not being proper French, it was just bad - you could get a better croissant at your local grocery store. In an effort to find ONE redeeming food item we also got one macaroon and this too came out FROZEN, chewy and basically tasteless. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning. There are MANY much better French restaurants in Atlanta which I don't even consider this restaurant to be.

I have only been here for breakfast but everything I have had so far has been great. I love their chocolate almond croissant and the salmon panini which is more like a salmon benedict. My husband likes the build your own omelet that comes with a croissant. The creeps are also good.

The chicken pot pie was the best and I don't even usually like chicken pot pie! The flakiness of the pastry is hard to beat. It was perfect in every way. The mushroom sauce on top of it was also very tasty. I would recommend coming here just for the chicken pot pie. I also ordered the Croque Mademoiselle, which was good but nothing spectacular. I can't wait to come back and try the pastries!

This place is so perfect. Their entrees are so delicious and their pastries are AMAZING!!! We came for breakfast on a Saturday and the place is cute and quaint. We ordered the crepe and the salmon panini. While we waited on our food, we walked up to the front of the restaurant and found heaven... Beignets. Croissants of all flavors. Breads. Cookies. Cakes. So of course, we added three of those onto our tab. All in all, I would suggest this place to anyone. There are options for all types of eaters and the food is of the best quality. I promise you'll love it!

Tomato basil soup and a chocolate ganache banana crepe rocked my world. That's all I can think to say over the static of delicious satisfaction in my head. It was a Monday about 10am. I think there was a French club meeting on one side of the room. Maybe 2 other tables occupied. Our waitress had a French accent. I love it. Let me say, I am ALL for equality, love, opportunities, freedom, etc, and if you know me, you know that about me.. but there is some evil little culture-appreciating thing inside me that wants to say that it is totally okay to require all employees to have the appropriate accent or language abilities of a culturally-based business. Like, if you don't have a French accent here, hit the road. Or at least stick to washing the dishes in the back :) It is like those Irish pubs with bartenders and waiters with Irish accents. I hope this does not make me look like I don't get out much (I get out too much). It just adds to the fun of the experience. I just love walking into a place, and feeling and hearing that authenticity.. Especially when I haven't been to the real thing in Europe. Too many cool experiences get watered down these days because someone's got a problem with something...... GAH tangent!! Abort! Anyway, douceur translates to "sweetness," which is adorable. I'm totally calling someone that next chance I get. (And it's one of my fave Jimmy Eat World songs.) There are a ton of bakery sweets available - like the delicious I-have-no-idea-what-that-is-but-mouthgasm thing they brought us that tasted like vanilla pudding and sweet crust, WTF moment - but they also have many other things as well.. Like meal stuff as opposed to just dessert stuff. Douceur is great for breakfast, but that is the only time I've had it so far. Let me get back to what I ordered, real quick. I am a soup lover and I've had many kinds. I've also had many kinds of tomato basil soup and some places do not know what they're doing... I don't like it chunky or sweet.. What?! I am picky! Why have soup if it's sweet? And chunky is for football players in commercials (kidding, it's just not for me). Douceur has got it down perfectly.. I had a cup but wish I had three bowls. And as for the crepe. Well. It was everything you could hope for in a crepe, I'm betting. They offer Nutella (score!) and as amazing as it is (I looooooooooove chocolate hazelnut!!!!) I know what it tastes like. So I ordered their homemade chocolate ganache, with bananas. It was just scrumptious. The decor and atmosphere feels clean and homey.. I am a fan of The Sweetness!

This place is the worst, I ordered 2 cakes almost $100.00 and ask if they could do it. They said yes. Ask for a pick up time of 9:00 am and they said yes. Day of pick up I arrived and one hour and a half later the cakes were presented to me not finished. I took the cakes to my party making it just in time and everyone at the party familiar with French cuisine also noticed that the cakes were not finished. I never got a formal apologies or offer a money back, apparently they don't need customers and they are dishing out unfinished cakes and service. My message to everyone is be aware don't order your cakes from "Douceur de France"

This place is absolutely adorable!!! Such a quaint french brunch place. Upon walking in you are greeted and seated. Their desserts are all on display so you cannot help but want to eat it all!!! I was here for my cousins bridal luncheon and there was a prefixed menu. I had the SPINACH QUICHE with a side salad and I was really impressed with the texture and the flaky crust that was on it. I finished the entire plate. :X If you are ever here in this part of town, check it out!!! Enjoy!!!

Oui! Vive Douceur de France! Ils sont magnifiques! Okay... I don't speak French, but I don't have to in order to know this place should be a synonym for "delicious". Heed my warning: Be seated when consuming such delicacies. Definitely do not operate a vehicle or heavy machinery while munching on a desert from Douceur de France. 100% True Story: Let me tell you... I'm a man who likes his almond croissants. Thus, I rarely pass them up whenever and wherever I see one on a menu or in a store. I accidentally discovered this place as I drove by and curiosity pulled me in. You know the old saying about curiosity, right? Well read on. I was happy to see they had a gorgeous almond croissant specimen with my name on it in the pastry case already waiting for me. The atmosphere and mannerisms of the employees gave me the impression this place is likely a French family run sort of establishment - hey, everyone behind the counter was jib-jabbing back 'n forth in French banter that seemed to have that 'we're all related back here' vibe. Anyway... back to that freshly and apparently French native baked almond croissant. That delectable amalgam of flaky pastry, butter, almonds, sugar and whatever else the French provincial bakery gods have decreed. Those sexy croissant curves - ooh la la - it was deliciously beautiful and it kept seductively staring at my mouth. What was I to do? I'm but a mere mortal. I quickly purchased it and hurriedly headed back to the car and my previous agenda. As I sped walked, focused mainly on my original purpose for which now I was late, I pulled out the warm croissant and sank my teeth into it - in retrospect a very ill-advised move on my part - one that almost resulted in serious injury - a culinary crippling crash situation we've all heard about, but never expect to find yourself in. That fateful first bite almost did me in - for as the heavenly rush, triggered by a mouthful of sweetness perfected, instantly hit me... my knees began to buckle, my stride lost coordination and my balance critically began to falter. The flavor rush had unsuspectingly overwhelmed this naive new patron. It could have been a disastrous face plant into gravel covered pavement for this unprepared diner-on-the-go. Thankfully, my palate trained reflexes kicked in, regaining my composure before losing consciousness and sustaining injuries. It was a close one, indeed. Honestly, my ability to make such a lightning recovery in such an overwhelming and culinary induced feinting situation I credit to my years of martial arts training combined with many careful observations of Anthony Bourdain's master techniques to remain cool in these sort of piquant situations. Needless to say, I've been practicing and preparing for when next I brave the pastry counter at Douceur de France. People ask me "Is it worth it, man?" Absolutely!

My first visit to DdF was about a year ago, during lent (I must be a glutton for punishment since I tend to go places with sweet treats that I can't enjoy). I met up with Tulie L for lunch. Perusing the menu, I opted for the classic croque monsieur with a small green salad. It was just ok. I wanted to like it more, but it was a little heavy on the bechamel sauce and subtle on the flavor. The green salad was nothing more than iceberg pieces, but had a delicious vinaigrette. The service was very French - they let you take as much time as you'd like, so you must speak up and flag them down whenever you need anything, particularly the check. So I went back for lunch today with a dear friend who loves French food to give DdF another try. Today I opted for the parmentier (layered mash potatoes with cooked ground beef and onions - similar to shepherd's pie without the veggies), which comes with some green salad. After saying that we'd both had one of those weeks, we ordered a beignet each. This time the salad was a mix of field greens with the same delicious vinaigrette. The parmentier was very good - smooth mashed potatoes, flavorful beef, and a sprinkling of parsley and paprika on top for some nice flavor and color. The food came pretty quickly, we ate pretty quickly (as corporate Americans have been trained to do), and then we waited for several minutes before we could flag down our server to ask for the check and remind her about the beignets. After the reminder, the beignet quickly appeared, since they were premade and in the display case. The beignet was flavorful and dense, with powdered and granulated sugar on top. I must admit that I was slightly disappointed due to my memories of a warm, fresh beignet and a cafe au lait, but it was still a nice sweet treat to end the meal. A few more items: Our server explained that they had recently begun opening at 7, serving breakfast all day, and closing at 4. There's a decent number of parking spaces in the back, and a sunny patio with wrought iron furniture if the weather is warm enough. #Yelp365 - 60/365

One of my favorite restaurants in Roswell, and maybe anywhere. Perfect for an authentic french bakery experience! Excellent cuisine, all fresh and spiced perfectly. The pastries are to die for, particularly the chocolate macarons and creme brulee! Their mushroom sauce is decedent, and the crepes are amazing! Be prepared to relax, they have a very french concept of time. I never get in and out in under an hour, but the food is so good I don't mind!

Disappointed!!! One of my family's favorite restaurants. My husband and I walked in sat down and weren't approached by a waiter or waitress, made eye contact and signaled one of the servers, still no service. We finally walked out! Such a shame!!!

place looks nice, homely. bunch of macaroon photos and décor. Croque Monseur was slightly below average, also homely. Also got macaroons (wonder why...), not bad but ill break a five dollar bill for a box at Trader Joes. Oh yea, store closes around 5-6 pm & kitchen closes at 3:30pm so don't expect to get hot foods

The food has ALWAYS been spectacular but the service usually lacked. That seems to have improved. My last several visits here the service has been fine, no complaints. Moderately busy and they still kept up as they should. Thank you for getting the waitstaff right! Now my brunch experience is even better!

Everything tastes so yummy! I had chicken pot pie and crepe. They taste fresh and delicious. Chicken pot pie is a must-order. Coffee was good too. Just wished the service was a little bit more attentive for coffee and water refill. But they were busy. The bakery section is too good to pass on. So many selections like macroons, cookies, cakes, tarts... Can you guys open an ITP location? ;P

Really good French food! They have a stocked bakery too... makes you want to just melt. Macaroons, croissants, chocolates, oh my! I've had their quiches (lorraine and florentine) and their ham and cheese. Both delish!

Excellent omelette- I made my own with asparagus, Swiss, and tomato. Perfectly made. Love the baguette and the fruit spread it comes with. The cappuccino was pretty good and worth the wait. Service is slow. At the Marietta location as well. The macarons are disappointing. To be fair I did an enormous amount of taste testing in the best places in all of LA for macarons because those were my favors at my wedding. Here they were overly sweet, not delicate and subtle enough.

Very great French Cafe right off of Holcomb Bridge Road. The soup du jour is always great. The Ham & Swiss sandwich on a buttered baguette is perfection to my wife. While I find the Tourte Au Poulet (Chicken Pot Pie) to be great. But the breakfasts are my favorite here. This is a great place for a relaxing brunch or lunch. Plus they sell an amazing assortment of pastries as dessert or to take home. Definitely worth a try!

It's not France, but I think this is as close as we are going to get in Alpharetta. The portions are reasonable. The prices are reasonable. The crepes are pretty good. I had mushroom soup. It was delicious. Their beef bourguignon melted in my mouth. I had it over rice, next time I will try it with a baguette. I wish they had a nicer outdoor seating area. The inside looks like a regular American deli with cheap party city seasonal decor. It does the food some injustice. I would like to see warmer decor staying more true to French roots and not so much stuff.

Love the food and the service! As French as you can get here in Alpharetta, but just delicious!

I was in town for a wedding and was looking for a place to spend some time. Looked this little place up, and it didn't disappoint! I got a latte, the Panini Benedict with a hashbrown, and a crepe with Nutella and bananas. It was all FANTASTIC!!! The only thing I am marking them down for is that one of my eggs on the Panini Benedict was overcooked and not runny. The 2nd egg was perfect. The setting is cozy and quaint, and the wait staff was attentive. I will definitely come back here if I get to visit again!
