Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. I've heard a lot about this place and we went for Father's Day this year. It was packed, and has a very cool look and feel to it. It's very modern and hip, so I get the draw, AND they serve beer so that helps. The line was pretty long but since it was Father's Day I held down a table (they were scarce at the time because it was so busy) while my wife waited in line, so I couldn't tell you what the hold up was. Everything is ordered at the counter so if you wanted another beer, sides, etc. then you're waiting again. Probably not normally as bad as it was this one night, but still noticed it. I ordered the twenty THE TWENTY EIGHT - figured it was my day so I could have the expensive burger on the menu. It was good (I got it without blue cheese), as I'm sure all the burgers on the menu are, and the bun had a cool BurgerFi brand on it. While it was tasty I couldn't help thinking my $12 burger would have tasted as good as the $6-$7 one - lesson learned for next time! As for the sides I liked the fries, but wasn't a fan of the onion rings. It may have been an off batch, but they were all breading and way too hard for my liking. Next time I want to try the custards - but wasn't going to wait in another line to do so today! This place will get another visit for sure, but hopefully we can go when it's a little less busy.

A burger joint should never be rated poorly based on the number of people it can seat. This place has a great enough selection of sides that I can get what ever my heart desires that day. I came here two days in a row after baseball and had burger wrapped in lettuce one day and a Chicago style hot dog the next. Both were perfect. The 28 day aged beef burger had a flavor very different from any other I have had before. I didn't have the custard but it looked good when others ate it. I had this place booked marked for quite some time and finally had a chance to go. I am so glad I stopped in. Did I mention the fantastic selection of micro brews.

Very happy to report that management has reconsidered the patio door open/close policy and the last 4 random days I've driven by, the patio door has been closed. It's great to see a team that is at the top of their game in the kitchen and in from of the house as well. Their quick response to the fly issue posed by the always-open patio door is an excellent indication that they care about guest feedback and delivering the best experience. (And, it means I don't have to wait for winter to keep coming back here for one of the top 2 burgers in Kennesaw: The Twenty-Eight. Order it. It is worth the extra green!)

This is my second time going to burgerfi, even though the first time I went to the Atlanta location. I liked the Kennesaw location as well because they have great customer service and they made sure I had everything I needed at my table. I ordered the breakfast all day burger with hand cut fries which was great and cooked really well. They have an upper and lower outdoor seating area out looking the downtown Kennesaw area which is a great view and it's also a very comfortable setting to enjoy the summer months. I definitely recommend trying them out at least once because they have some of the best burgers and fries.

The burger was great!! Had the Parmesan and herb on my fries which was pretty good also. Also had to chili and cheese dog was I loved it had just the right amount of spice. Had it to go so will definitely come back and have a seat in experience.

This is my go to place when I want a good hamburger. Not your fast food place. Onion rings are awesome. Still good since opening a while back. Trains going by add to it.

This place is great. Burgers are fresh and all natural. Love the wheat bun and the fresh cooked fries! Me and misses treat ourselves to this place..

Went here on a Saturday night with a close friend of mine :) I have always heard good things about Burger Fi. However, we did not have to good of an experience. During the dinner rush around 6:45 pm there was only one register open. We had to wait around 35 min to order. We were about to leave but we wanted to try the amazing burgers we had heard about. It was very unorganized. It seemed like they were totally capable of opening up at least 1 more register. We got to the front the young lady who took our order was very nice. She explained everything very well which I appreciated. I placed my order and we waited. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was good! I liked the way it was presented. The Burger Fi stamp is very smart. It makes a place stand out from others. The food overall was very good! We sat inside because there was no patio seating. I like the atmosphere it's nifty :)

Awful service we were charged for three burgers and fries only got two burgers and half the amount of fries- no effort was made to fix what we payed for, we waited for fifteen minutes for our food and listened to a screaming baby, only to get less than promised. On our way out they told us "see you tomorrow" never will I ever go back to this Burgerfi ever again.

My sister had told me about this place when I pointed it out to her on one of her visits. Apparently it's a chain, but I was excited to try it because it's new to me. I'm a big burger fan and these were awesome. There are a lot of extras you can put on your burger for an extra cost, but I appreciated the fact there were plenty of free add-ons that I didn't feel cheated. You can add another patty but with all my toppings, one was plenty. The lettuce I used for the wrap when I left off the bun was crisp and really fresh. They also serve wine and plenty of bottled craft beer which was neat. The fries were incredible...fresh (skin on), crispy, and perfectly salted. I want to go back and try their hot dogs. I'm only offering 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish it was faster and the seating seems extremely tight. Either they could've picked another location or chose not to seat so many tables and chairs in their small dining area. Throughout the whole dinner I was scooting my chair back and forth for people. Just make sure not to go during peak times and those two issues may be avoided. Food was ON POINT though!

The secret menu! God I love the parm fries and BAD burger. So delicious. Glad that there are beer options now as well. I have only had the custard once and felt it lacking but was good for the freebie card I used.

First off this is not a review of the food. I think my All Day Breakfast Burger and fries were good, but I do not know since I did not get a chance to enjoy my lunch. Parking was a challenge, but after parking I was greeted with a great looking place and friendly staff... Ordered my food, got my buzzer and that is when things went downhill.... The only thing I can figure is that since it is close the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History and school is out that a lot parent's decided to have lunch at BurgeFi. The place was covered up with kids and it was just 11:30. It would not have been so bad if the kids were not running around, breaking in line, playing with the condiment station and the drink station while their non-concerned parents were yakking away up stairs or at a faraway table..... Once I was able to get my drink and condiments, I found a table outside away from the throngs of the rug rats to await the buzzing of my pager, notifying me that my food was ready.... Once I retrieved my food I had to reclaim my table from children who had staked a claim on despite my drink, napkins, fork and knife being left on the table. I only thought that I was out of the way..... During the entire 30 minutes that I tried to enjoy my lunch, my chair was constantly bumped into, my table was bumped into and after every bite, I had to respond to some child or over enthusiastic adult that no I am not done... I had to constantly hear parents repeat the same command to come back, no, don't do this don't do that to children that totally ignored their parents request to maintain a civil manner... My only thought was to finish eating at get away from the mass of unruly children. Do not get me wrong, I do not blame the kids. I blame their self-centered parents who allowed them unfettered access to the entire restaurant and other customers... with no concern for other patrons in the establishment. I will not go back while school is out. I will wait until the children are at school. I am sure I will enjoy the food when I actually get a chance to eat it in peace.

My 1st visit to BurgerWi and it did not disappoint! The reason I only gave BurgerWi 4 stars was because the buns are very cheap and flat. I love the extra touch of branding the bun but the bun sucked my husband and I ordered the cheeseburger plus bacon! The meat was Seasoned and cook well, the toppings tasted fresh and The BurgerWi sauce had great flavor! We ordered the basket of fries that included onion rings The onion rings are a-m-a-z-i-n-g I liked all the different fry topping options but, we skipped the fry toppings since our 1 year old was with us and he's never met a French fry he didn't like What's a burger without a shake? It's a must here- we had the chocolate shake that will knock your socks off!!! Holy cow it was delish! (Side note for parents: they have a baby changing station in the men's bathroom which may sound silly but lots of restaurants do not offer changing stations) We will be back!

Looking at the menu had me super excited! I love getting burgers with a lot of toppings so I was in heaven!! I ordered a Burgerfi Cheeseburger and added the following toppings: blue cheese, fried egg, chili, bacon, grilled onions and I got Burgerfi sauce on the side (the cashier was discreet with their secret ingredients so I wasn't sure if like it). I loved the thick slice of blue cheese, well flavored. Can't say as much for the chili; it was pretty tasteless and ended up just making the burger soggy half way through. I actually wouldn't mind the sogginess when the taste is there. The beef patty could've had more seasoning in it but not bad. My friend and I spilt fries. She wanted Parmesan and Herbs. I wanted salt and vinegar so they out the topping on the side. I loved hers! She ended up mixing her favors with the garlic aioli that she had on the side. For the salt and vinegar, I guess I pictured something else before I ordered or maybe if it wasn't on the side it would have been different. It was just a little cup of malt vinegar and a little cup of salt flakes, needless to say I wasn't as impressed. Overall, pretty good meal. I'll be coming back and ordering a little differently. Maybe I'll stick with their combinations instead of venturing in my own. The Breakfast All Day Burger looks really good, I'll have to try a milkshake, stick with Parmesan fries and their onion rings looked sooo good! Cute set up. Inside and outside seating. They have a covered upstairs part with ceiling fans that we didn't notice until we were leaving. Also have free wifi, just ask the cashier for the password.

Service stinks. Waited over 25 minutes to get my food. You cant ask the employees or management anything because they act as if you already know the service is horrible and they dont care. My burger was undercooked, I ordered a cry and fry and not even enough onion rings to feed my unborn son. Go to Mcdonalds instead. Certainly not worth almost 30 mon wait

This place is great! Clean, modern restaurant. Friendly staff. The burgers are amazing! Fresh ingredients, high quality beef, and the BEST buns! It's a little pricey for a burger but it's worth every penny!

Pretty good food, fairly cheap and pretty quick. Definitely a cool place with lots of seating and different menu options. There really is something for everyone

  • Michelle C.

I'd like to start by saying that the food, fries and shake were excellent. What we didn't like was the tiny parking lot for the size of the restaurant. There was only one register open with a long line of people waiting to place their orders. While there was only one register open, there were three employees having lunch occupying patrons tables for the entire 50 minutes we were sitting there having lunch. To me, this is a sign of poor management. How can there only be one register open and three employees sitting there having lunch with a long line of customers out the door? We will definitely go back because the food is indeed very good. We will however, avoid going during busy hours.

Good lean burgers that don't make you feel to guilty after eating it. They will get you in the pockets but it's worth it . It's a healthier burger than the other fast food burger chains.

I discovered BurgerFi on a recent trip to Florida. Because we eat clean (mostly organic, eliminating preservatives when we can, etc), finding places to eat out that don't throw our bodies into shock can be challenging. We saw "natural" burgers, peanut oil fries, etc appealing. Love the food in Ft. Lauderdale, ah just so so here. My main concern was the branded bread was not warmed. I HATE a hamburger/hotdog bun just out of the bag and the meat thrown inside. I'm not a bread eater but when I do craved a burger, the bun should be heated. It was in Florida. The meat was also so so. Condiments and toppings should not be the flavor. They are accessories. The meat should be able to stand alone. The meat also just regular temperature. I was expecting a hot off the grill burger. I will say that it was not greasy, which was great. My son got the Kobe Beef dog with diced onions and Fi Sauce. He said it was it was better in Florida. I did noticed the type was listed on the menu (I forget, something with a W and it said American Kobe). I didn't see that in Florida. The onions were also chopped bigger. He said he couldn't "sprinkle" them on the dog. Fries were excellent. Strawberry Lemonade was excellent! Huge onion rings (we didn't get them but saw others) that makes me question the source. Definitely not organic. Regular ketchup. I would expect an non High Fructose Corn Syrup ketchup choice at a "natural" burger place. "Natural" soda has caramel color so that's a no go for us too. No kids meal selection. Every a la carte, no biggie for us but can't get pricey, so be aware. Great addition to the burger world in the area but for us, it probably won't be in our must go rotation.

I figured this place would be another Five Guys, but I was pleasantly surprised. They had an awful lot of options for your burger. Fries are the same deal. Big portions with lots of options to put on your fries. They also had loads of drink choices which was nice. Their desserts were pretty decent too as I had their red velvet cake with vanilla custard and my friend had a chocolate milkshake. We both decided that this is a place we plan on coming back too

My bf and I went. We both build our own burgers. They have a great selection of toppings and condiments. The BurgerFi sauce is great..has mayo in it. I got single which was good for me. My bf got the tripple. He enjoyed it. He said he would eat another. The medium fries is big enough to share for two. We topped ours with salt and vinegar.....DELICIOUS!!! Beer and wine if you want to drink. While we were there they gave free samples of custard.... So good I was debating on getting one but i was full. Next tine though.

BurgerFi, for me, is the closest burger joint in GA to shake shack. They have a decent sized menu with burgers, sides, dessert, and even a few beers. Seating is plentiful inside and out, I think they also have outdoor seating upstairs but I might be wrong. I got the cheeseburger, fries, and coffee mocha shake. The cheeseburger was perfect and the french fries were also good and was too full to really enjoy the shake. Ask for samples of their custard, it's so creamy.

Not understanding all the haters. Ok, the burger is not huge, but for about $7 you get a double cheeseburger that is way better than the $4 one at Mickey D's. When you order make sure you don't forget all the custom toppings that are available. Unlike some other places where you can load your toppings at the toppings bar, at BurgerFi they put them on for you in the kitchen. As mentioned the burgers are very good, but the fries and O Rings are excellent. I do wish they cut the O Rings a little thinner, however. At about an inch thick they can be difficult to eat. They are fresh, though, and unique. Ambience is clean and casual with an inside seating area and an outside loft that overlooks Kennesaw's train tracks and the main drag through town. The staff is mostly young and passionate as well as very helpful in ordering, especially if you're a BurgerFi newbie. If you're looking for a top-tier burger in K-town, well, BurgerFi is among the best.

Well..... my wife stopped by there because it was on her way home.. i will say, the burger was much better this time!!! BUT.... i just have a HUGE problem with the fact that there burgers r the size of a mcdonalds regular cheeseburger and there VERY greasy... and ummm.... the burger i had will NEVER B WORTH $10 . She got 2 burgers and..... are u ready for this, it cost $17.96 muthu friggin dollars and that was with NO fries and NO drinks... im sorry folks but im being gracious to give it 3 stars.... i get better and bigger burgers at the sports bar up the street...for the price, mcdonalds is STILL a better option.... im sorry guys but thats the truth!!!!

This is a nice little burger joint nestled away by railroad tracks. Had the BurgerFi Cheeseburger with the Cry & Fries side to share. It can get a bit crowded with limited parking and seating, so have a moment to wait to scout out a seat if you go on weekend. The burger was cooked to perfection- not falling all over the place with grease and has that nice touch of the stamp on the bun. Can't wait for one to open up next month where I currently live.

You have to try the Breakfast All Day Burger. It's amazing! HUGE fresh onion rings were delicious, homemade fries were great. Side portions were big, burger was perfect.

BurgerFi is a great spot to enjoy a burger, fries, milkshake, and/or adult beverage. Downtown Kennesaw needed a place just like BurgerFi. Highly recommend sitting outside (the rooftop is awesome for watching a game, or the downstairs patio where pets are allowed). I always get the burger, but someone in the party always gets a hotdog, which looks top notch as well. I don't believe there is such a thing as a 'bad milkshake', but this one absolutely hits the spot.

As my usual search for a yummy veggie burger continues. I find myself darkening the doors of burger fi once more. It was a cold and rainy night.... literally... and I wanted a veggie burger that wasn't overly mushy and wasn't comprised of mainly black beans... And that is what brought me here to get the vegefi burger... It's a quinoa burger that's fried which gives it some texture and there's different veggies sprinkling the inside of the patty. It's a good burger when it's hot and crispy, but as it cools, it gets that mushy-like texture like most veggie burgers that are around now-a-days... It's also a small burger, so if you're not a fan of small veggie burgers that's over 6$... Then you probably want to keep hunting for another veggie burger. But if you want something that's a bit different then give it a try. And only order a regular fry.... Their fries aren't the best. In one order you can get some that are cooked just right, over cooked, and waaaay over cooked. They also give you too many fries, who knew right, but yeah it seems like they're trying to overcompensate for the size of the small burger... And I haven't ordered onion rings since that first time, but if you look at the pic, it was too much for me to handle... Anyway the restaurant is located on a corner and can be a pain trying to get into turning from the left. The parking lot is really small, but there are spots on the street and more parking on down pass those other restaurants. I've only gotten my food togo but when they're busy, the set-up is pretty tight. Anyway it's not a bad place, I don't mind coming here if I'm in Kennesaw, so it's definitely OK in my book.

The burgers are pretty small for what you pay for, but the flavors are great. I like the sauce on the burgerfi cheeseburger. I also like the different spices for the fries. The spicy cajun is my favorite. Anyway, eating upstairs on the open deck was great especially after a day of hiking Kennesaw Mountain!

My family & I went to have lunch at BurgerFi and it was delicious. I tried their veggie burger and i loved it! I also highly recommend their onion rings! Mmmmm... Their food tastes fresh and their staff is very friendly! The cashier went over the whole menu and explained all the options for us. It is more expensive than fast food burgers but it's definitely worth every penny. I will definitely be going there again!

BurgerFi.... Ok so came here for lunch on a Sunday, was pretty packed.. I ordered a "Build your own" burger, salt and vinegar chips and onion rings... My burger was pretty plain, the meat was nice and juicy but I think what made the burger was their house sauce. being from Australia, we love to put vinegar on our hot chips so when I saw they did this, i was excited... my excitement quickly went away after the first bite lol. although the chips where delicious, I couldn't taste the vinegar... Onion rings were just ok. BurgerFi was an Ok experience, didn't really do it for me after waiting in a long line at the registers and then waiting in the line to get drinks... Still, had fun with mates hanging out with decent food :)

Went back last night for my 2nd visit. Ordered the cheeseburger with bacon. They had forgot to add the bacon to my burger. Ordered the fries with chili and cheese sauce and it was very tasty. Although my bacon cheeseburger lacked the bacon it was still a very good burger. It started to get very busy so I decided not to complain I would still go back again.

Absolutely awesome place. Love the fact that you can get your burger "green" - wrapped in lettuce.

Thought the burgers were great. I had a dbl cheeseburger and it was delicious. Big burger, got a lotto messy but that's alright with me. Fries were good. Had a cool vibe to it as well. Seems like it would be a good place to be in the evening to have a beer.

Great food and great atmosphere. Awesome beer selection, basically a way better version of Five Guys.

Great burgers, the fries and rings are super and the upper deck is a great place to sit for train watching! Kids of all ages will love it.

No kid sized meals or drinks on the menu. The burgers and fries are tasty, but paying over $7 for 3 drinks is ridiculous. My kids are 4 and 8. No way they are drinking over $2 worth of soda or lemonade. Two single burgers, one regular order of fries, one grilled cheese (American melted on a bun - not on the menu), and 3 drinks was over $25. Probably won't be frequent diners, given the price. Too bad since my son goes to therapy 2 evenings a week at the learning center right up the street. Update - we tried Cook Out on Chastain Rd., and for 2 burgers with 2 sides, 3 drinks, and one order of chicken, our tab was $11! Will be satisfying our burger craving here now.

Overpriced. Small burgers. Overpriced. Poorly planned interior. And did I mentioned overpriced? If you can be fooled into thinking something is good just because you are paying more - this is the place for you! The burger patty is smaller than your palm. Cool balcony seating, good desserts, great onion rings but why does anyone go here twice once they've paid? Have they never heard of Fuddruckers?? A meal for two consisting of these "sliders with delusions of grandeur" will cost you over $20+. And no kids menu, so you're paying full price for them too. Something to think about as you listen to the roar of the train 12ft away.

We eat here all the time. The Burger's are fantastic! You can customizie it, we like ours with the wheat bun, and order some delicious fries, all cooked to order! We try to eat there every so often, highly recommend! Don't waste your time paying double for a "so so" burger next door.

The food at BurgerFi is always delicious. Some people complain about the prices, and I understand that they are a little expensive, however it is worth it for the amount of food you get. The burgers are always juicy and the onion rings are to die for. They also have an awesome beer selection, both on draft and in bottles, which is a definite plus for me. I'll keep going back simply for onion rings and beer!

I'm not sure what other reviewers are eating that they say is small but we have been here several times and small is not what I would use to describe any of the burgers we've eaten. It's pretty great! The burgers are tasty with a good quality meat and fresh toppings. The onion rings are huge and made fresh. Parm fries are great with the garlic mayo. Good clean dining room. Not huge but it's a burger joint. Owner comes and checks on the customers everytime we are in the place!

Every new burger joint claims to be "better than In-N-Out". This one is close! Had 7 adults for an 18th birthday lunch-all 7 loved it. Perfect bun, real hamburger=fabulousness! An easier ride than to Rocco's in Jasper for an all natural hamburger. Go! Nothing should be stopping you!

It's nice to see a new restaurant move in to sleepy Main Street Kennesaw. With the Mom and Pop meat and 3 vegetable places on either side of the railroad track, BurgerFi is a welcome addition. I got their early considering the other reviews mentioned the parking lot filled quickly. I had already looked at the menu online so I knew exactly what I wanted and was excited as I rarely eat burgers anymore. You walk in to the restaraunt and it is very modern and clean. I love the cool wood work on the walls, the bright menu display over the cashiers, the burger artwork on the walls made to look chic in black and white and the bar stool seating along the side windows is genius for those dining alone. The large glass partition seperating sticky fingers from the ice cream machine was a smart idea as 2 kids were literally mouthing against the glass like blow fish pointing at all the different toppings! I stepped up to the counter and ordered the supreme burger. The supreme is listed on the website menu as a "secret" burger with grilled mushrooms, bacon and cheese. It was so much of a secret that even the order taker didn't know what I was talking about. I had to break it down: burgerfi burger with mushrooms, bacon, and cheese. I got a side of fries and a water too. I was handed a restaraunt style block pager, which resembled a taser, and I found a seat in the corner of the restaraunt. The restaurant is really loud, something I wasn't expecting with only 3 other people in the dining room. I can understand the loud music playing to drown out the train horns but when someone slid open the glass sliding doors leading to the outside patio and the large air movement machine above the doors came on and stayed on, it was too much. I understand the loud machine is for health code reasons but good God it was obnoxious. As I waited for my order, I watched as people came in the front door to the counter. With the air flow machine just below the patio door (that remained open) right next to the ordering station/cashiers, you could literally hear as people were screaming their orders. The door fan paired with loud music blaring overhead was just too much. The burger arrived, sans cheese, and rather than complain I just ate it. The burger was very good, thin beef patties, resembling a Wendy's burger, but that is probably why they give you 2 patties. Here's an idea, why not make a thicker burger patty considering you just charged me $8 for the burger...just the burger. The burger was good; the mushrooms and bacon made it even better. The fries were awesome! I love fresh cut potato fries with sea salt. Everyone said a small can feed up to 3 people and I am here to tell you the small barely fed 2 people! They were awesome. The best icrecream I have ever had is custard. The best custard treat is a concrete and the best concrete I have ever had was in Arkansas. When I saw they sold concretes on the online menu I just had to come in. A traditional concrete is made with custard, choice of toppings and as each layer is added to your cup, it literally concretes together! Typically, they are served with a long spoon that also becomes part of the frozen concrete but that is half the fun. Concretes are said to be able to hold their shape even if you turn them upside down-which I did. BurgerFi's concrete wasn't a real concrete but patted down soft serve ice cream with a lot of toppings. I watched from the beind the sticky glass partition as she used a mini shovel to shove the custard in to the cup and pat it down. If you're using real custard you don't need to do that because it is so dense and so creamy, it lays and hardens naturally. Now, that I have bored you with my ramble on fat-kid concrete, BurgerFi sells good ice cream, not custard. Don't be fooled. I will come back to BurgerFi if I am ever in the neighborhood and need a good burger and fries. I just won't be eating inside or ordering the ice cream.

I made the mistake of ordering the Chicago dog. Stick to the burgers. The dogs are terrible. The onion rings are good but the fries where limp and greasy. Sorry burgerfi. You didn't impress last night..

We love BurgerFi in downtown Kennesaw. So great to have a family friendly casual dining with great food. You have to try the greenstyle burgers and the salt and vinegar fries. The food is all fresh and high quality... Worth every penny!

  • Lucy L.

It was ok... The fries were by far the best out of anything, they gave us a huge basket and they were perfectly salted! The burgers weren't greasy, which was very nice, but they were very small. There were a lot of toppings which was very nice. However we had to wait in line for 20 minutes and had to squeeze 6 people at a table for 4 on the upper deck.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our meal there. Great burgers, fries, and onion rings all cooked to order. Also love it when a place is fully staffed. So many employees we couldnt count them all. A++ in my book and will definitely return. Loved the upstairs patio too!

Our work crew of six people stopped in for lunch the first week it was open. It was busy but we were able to get a seat. The restaurant pushed "natural" burgers and "progressive recycling." I'm not really sure what either of those statements mean considering there was no place to recycle the plastic water cups but they did collect glass. Even with that being said, I might give the meat burgers a try next time (I'm a picky meat eater). Veggie Burger - quinoa based burger that seemed to be homemade. It actually has veggies in it unlike soy burgers served at a lot of chain restaurants. It came with white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and BurgerFi sauce, but you can build your own. There wasn't enough BurgerFi sauce to figure out a flavor. Hopefully next time there will be a bit more. It typically comes with a multigrain bun but they were out so I had the very soft and fluffy egg bun. The edges of the burger were nice and crispy but a bit mushy on the inside. Fries - Very yummy. Slight crunch on the outside and soft on the inside so you can tell they are real potatoes. I got the plain but look forward to trying their other toppings like salt and vinegar. Service & Atmosphere - Friendly and pretty quick considering these are not fast food burgers. The interior is pretty trendy for Kennesaw and there is a rooftop deck. FYI - the parking lot is a little small. Not sure if there is additional parking nearby since we found a spot. I'm sure I'll go again for lunch and try a beef burger. I will say that it's a little pricey (IMO) for a lunch spot. You won't leave for under $10.

The food is too expensive, and I don't feel like it's worth going back! BurgerFi is not getting any more money from me!

Today my two stars is because of the service I received when placing my order. In the past they were hitting on all cylinders and all was great. I gave them all 5 stars. Although the burger was good, when placing my order the server kept telling me I could not order what I wanted. She kept telling me I could only add two topping to my burger. I understand rules are rules but I've never had issues with this on past visits. Maybe I was ordering wrong, but instead of helping me get what I wanted, she just said no! I did not want toppings for free. I would have paid for what I wanted. I intended to purchase a beer and fries but after I was so harshly treated I just got a plain burger and walked away disappointed. I will find it hard to go back with all the other food choices available to me. Sad they had so much promise and now just one of the pack.

Really good burgers, fries, custards, and hot dogs. I love their texas style chili dogs. An order of fries is big enough for 2+ people. Pricey, but what do you expect for Good fresh food.

Overall, I like this place. The burgers are juicy and delicious, the onion rings are massive, and I love the custard milkshakes. The atmosphere is very laid-back and casual, and the service is prompt. Also, BurgerFi places emphasis on environmental sustainability, which is a plus in my book. However, my main issue is the cost. Their burgers are small, and the portion size are average, but your total cost can average around $13-$14. To me, that's too much for a small burger and fries/rings. Additionally, they have one drink size; it is small and it is overpriced as well. BurgerFi is a nice burger joint, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

I remember back in the 90's when it started at Waffle House in my 'hood and you'd walk in and all of the staff would stop and scream, "HELLO!" And now...this phenomenon has reached a new zenith with Burger Fi. Yes, we endured the Welcome to Moe's that eventually became so watered down that you couldn't understand anything except the fact that they acknowledging the fact that you walked through the door, but now we have to hear one screeching voice in WELCOME TO BURGER FI! and then, in chorus, all of the other staff obligatorily chime, ALL NATURAL. Hilarious. Aside from the initial shock, the burger was OK, the salt and vin fries were awesome, and the root beer float was spot on! Parking is very limited though because Trackside is next door and its in the historic district. You may have to pay $$$ for a meter and the wait to order was 20mins the second day they opened.

    (4)
  • Katie N.

I tried this location one more time - again hoping there had been an improvement over the last six months. I was disappointed. There were few people in line (since I deliberately went early) but the wait was close to 20 minutes. My burger was overdone and very dry and my fry order was incorrect when it came - as well as being underdone. No apologies offered when the errors were pointed out and I had to ask for remediation... gaining another 15 minute wait for now overdone inedible fries - and the burger already consumed. This is a total shame. I occasionally travel to Alpharetta and go to the Burger Fi there where the service is swift, attentive, organized and the food always perfectly cooked and properly served as ordered-even though they handle four times the volume of customers. Just my poor luck that I live so close to this incredibly poor location. I really wish they would improve. We deserve a better experience.

One of my favorite burger places in Kennesaw. They have delicious burgers. I usually get the Cheeseburger with bacon. Today I got it "Green Style" which means it is served between two thick pieces of lettuce. Works great for folks who are going low carb or gluten free. The custard is delicious. I love it with the red velvet cake mixes in as a "concrete" The entire menu is locally sourced farm to table and I really like how the fresh food tastes.

Great burgers and fries. All the fry toppings are a bit much but tasty. Try a custard. So yummy and thick! I would give them 5 stars but they don't have coleslaw for the hot dogs. How is that possible?

This plays rocks. This burgers really taste good and there fries are amazing. I tried the Parmesan fries wasnt to crazy about it but just like them plain. I really enjoy sitting at the top watching the cars go by and waiting for a Tractor Trailer trucks attempt to go over the tracks.

Great burgers, fries, and beer. Similar to YeahBurger in ATL. Prices are a bit elevated considering the location for both food and draft beers. Definitely will visit again. 420 Draft, Check Yes!

In a time when mid tier burger joints are popping up seemingly every day Burger Fi holds it's own!!! The place is in a fabulous location and the deck is a fun place to eat. The line was rather long (although it was near the grand opening) but the staff was extremely friendly. You pretty much place your order than wait for it to be ready. It's kind of pricey but nothing out of the ordinary compared to their competition. Now the food: The burgers were definitely tasty and a little different than the rest of the pack (which says a lot). I don't know if it was the seasoning or the quality of beef but they were definitely delicious. A little on the small side but were good. The fries on the other hand were disappointing. We got the parmesan fires which made them good, however I fear without the parmesan I fear they would have been average. That' a big deal though as if you sell burgers your fries need to be top notch. I would have moved them to the three stars, but the onion rings made up for what the fries were missing and then some. Unfortunately my family doesn't like onions so I had to eat them all myself (maybe I should have said fortunately). Overall, a great location for a very solid burger although I believe they could work on their fries.

We live close to the Kennesaw location and eat here maybe once a month with our two boys. We love the burgers and the boys love the HUGE onion rings. It gets crazy crowded on weekends and the seating is extremely cramped but that sort of gives it a little bit of charm. Because we live close we will sometimes get ours to-go to avoid the cramped seating. The burgers are always delicious as are the fries and rings!

went to burgerfi last night for the first time, and it was AMAZING!!!!!!! may be going back tomorrow for lunch ;-) i got a double stack burgerfi cheeseburger, regular fries and a milkshake for $14, a bit expensive but keep in mind it's all natural so it'll be more expensive. the burger was DELICIOUS! the burgerfi sauce they put on the burger is perfect! and the fresh cut french fries are so yummy!!! i got a cookies and cream milkshake and it was so good i wanted to order another! i suggest burgerfi to everyone! it's delicious!

Great food no doubt, slightly better than Five Guys. Sizable burgers and hot dogs, both tasty. Fries also very good. The place is new and greatly designed.. However, not much seating for crowded weekends. Overall, great food. Avoid desserts, way overpriced, like the rest of the menu.

I love this place. Good beers and great burgers make for a good night, any night. I always get the cry and fry - one is enough to feed 2-3 people. It is a solid burger with fresh toppings. We have been 3 times now and it has been consistent. The music is a little loud and it was hot in the summer and cold in the winter, so be prepared. Overall it is a great stop for a quick bite and a real beer.

Watching a skilled and experienced restaurant staff operate is like watching Baryshnikov dance Swan Lake. Watching a young and inexperienced restaurant staff operate is like watching the Green Bay Packers dance Swan Lake. Here's the point: there has been some criticism of the staff at Burger Fi (mostly from a curiously large number of 1-Review Yelpers who seem to have come out of the woodwork to give 1-Star reviews). It is a new restaurant with a young staff. Demand has been higher than expected: they are still adding people. They are really nice kids working hard in a fast-paced high-volume environment. They are not a bunch of bong-hitting duds. I am happy to smile, give them a word of appreciation, and cut them some slack. They will get the rhythm down. I have worked my way through most of the menu. Everything has been remarkably good. My favorite item has been a double hamburger, the "Burger Fi Burger." It is hot, juicy, and has a great consistency and taste. Burger Fi also offers fries with various toppings (e.g., Salt & Vinegar, Parmesan Cheese, Hot Cajun); the toppings are good, but a bit weak. You can order the fries standard, "Limp," or "Well Done." (Ummm---since when is "Limp" a good thing?) The "Well Done" fries are crispy on the outside; I like this (your mileage may vary). The onion rings are huge and wonderful. The portion sizes are large; plan on sharing. They offer a wide variety of beers on tap and in bottles. That adds a nice touch to the menu that sets Burger Fi apart from a fast-food outlet. The place is crowded; if you arrive at a peak hour, the chances of getting a good table (or any other table) are dicey. Parking is also a bit of an issue; we seem to be in a monsoon season, and you may have to walk a block or two. The crowds will settle down over the next few weeks. All in all, Burger Fi is a great addition to downtown Kennesaw ("The Land That Time Forgot"). I recommend it highly.

Soooo excited about this place! My fiance and I went to downtown Kennesaw this weekend to finally check out Burgerfi. I felt a little guilty at first because it's right next to Trackside Grill which is a favorite of mine and I felt like I was cheating on them. But anywho, we went for an early dinner. The menu is pretty straightforward, hot dogs & burgers. I got adventurous and ordered their B.A.D. (Breakfast All Day) Burger. This mama jama burger consists of a layer of chopped caramelized onions, hash browns, angus beef patty, bacon, with a delicious fried egg on top. I knew it would surely kill the diet but what the hey! Aside from the massive burger, you also got a huge side of fresh cut fries. I took on my challenge one gooey bite at a time. The runny yolk over the burger was heavenly and the whole combination together was just sinfully perfect. :) The fries were good too but my focus was on finishing every last bit of burger! Unfortunately after I finished, I had no room to try one of their frozen custard desserts (next time)! The only thing that I feel was not well thought out is their condiments & fountain drinks area. It is waaaay too tight. There's really only space for one person at a time at either station which sucks during the dinner rush time when there's easily 10 people waiting their turn to get some ketchup. I definitely recommend it to anyone! Next time, I'm going to try their 100% wagyu dog. :) Can't wait!

Went there for the first time last night. I got the veggie burger and shared fries with my girlfriend, who ordered a simple hamburger. Our order-taker earned some bonus points when he suggested that we share our fries (since the orders are somewhat large); he was right. The veggie burger was incredible and filling, and the view from the second story seating area was terrific. Yes, as some of the other reviewers noted, there were a few flies, and the condiment/drink area was crowded. But, I can overlook those things by mustering an ounce of humility and patience. Moreover, it's amazing that this place can tout all natural, eco-friendly food/facilities and still manage to keep the prices somewhat reasonable, especially in a downtown location. We will be back for sure!

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Got to try the chili on something. Had the Wagyu Dog, it was pricey, but delicious. The fries were killer, and the service was friendly. Look for the "Secret Menu" and ask the counter person for suggestions.

I have been here twice, the second time as a much more informed customer. First time around I got the Burger Fi burger which is a double patty and a large fry. What I learned from that experience is that the fries are large enough to share for sure, and if you are someone who eats proportionately, do a "build your own" burger and just get a single as it will be plenty. The burgers are GREAT and as someone who rarely eats ground beef unless it's organic, I was extremely happy to see this place!! My stomach had no issues whatsoever with these patties!! Fries are AWESOME. I have had them just plain and also the "urban fries" with the Parmesan and garlic aioli sauce. Those things are AMAZING. This place is definitely worth trying. I do agree with other's it's a little pricey, but if you go with someone and split a fry and get yourself a single burger you can walk out of there paying about $13.00 for two people.

I have been here once before. I thought it was pretty great. So today I brought the whole family. We all had single burgers. I topped mine with cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickles, lettuce and onion. My girls had plain cheese burgers with ketchup and mustard. When the food showed up i was missing lettuce. The place was packed so I didn't bother to ask for it. The burgers were juicy and flavorful. We all loved them. The fries were on the bad side. Tasted like old oil. We did order a large onion ring. And I have to say if you ever go to burger fi. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THE ONION RINGS. THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. we will be back I really want to try a chili burger with a fried egg. They have tons if toppings. Check out the pic

I went there last weekend it was very busy but I expected it to be that way so it did not surprise me any new place is like that. I had a cheese burger.fries. & coke $12.00 a little over price for me. The burger was great fries so so!! The drink cup was small but you can get free refills.

I've driven by BurgerFi 10+ times, noticing the constant flow of customers and continued to tell myself, "I have to take my family there". On 8/30 I did just that. It has the feel between a 5-Guys and Cheeseburger Bobby's with one giant addition for us Dads, they serve beer and have flat panels on the walls. I enjoyed a Sweet Water 420 pint with my burger and was extremely pleased with that burger. I went with the BurgerFi Cheeseburger loaded and it was delicious. My family all got various single patty burgers, an order of parm-fries, and onion rings. I'm not a fan of onions but those battered onion rings, WOW...they were good. All the food was tasty, well prepared, and seemed to have magically disappeared off or table. The manager Rick, an ex-Navy Corpsman, constantly observed the restaurant and made sure everyone was happy. Being newbees, he even sent over samplers of their custards to our table. Those too...now you see it, now you don't. My kids haven't stopped talking about BurgerFi and want to go back, and we will. Great place to take the kids, or take your buds. They have an open air rooftop seating section with a flat panel TV so take your food and brew upstairs. It's a nice set-up, clean, easy access, and great crew. BurgerFi is MIL friendly too. Ambience -- Family friendly. The décor is very casual, laid back. Food - I love bacon and cheese -- so for my first visit, I order the bacon & cheese burger. Unknown to me, there are 2 pieces of meat on this burger, which made me extremely full afterwards. It was tasty w/ a good balance of seasoning. The mean quality is good -- my stomach said so! Also, I love the branding idea of marking the burger bun with the Burger Fi sign. I also had parmesan fries on the side -- it was good, but a huge portion for my belly. I had to throw a lot of it away. The fries can be shared with another person who eats moderately. Service -- Normal for a fast food joint. I will go back again.

We finally visited Burgerfi today for the first time. The price was a bit high, but that was not my problem. The space and the service was also just fine and they offer some unusual items. My issue is that Steak and Shake is more flavorful and less expensive. I'm glad I tried Burgerfi, but I will look elsewhere unless I want a beer.

I had the brisket burger and my husband had a regular burger with ketchup, mustard, cheese and bacon. We both agreed that the burgers were seasoned well and had good flavor. The fries were ok, defiantly shouldn't have got two orders as they are generous portions. Good beer selection. Limited parking and the place filled up quickly. All and all the burgers were awesome!!

  • Laura E.

Very plain tasting meat. When I eat a burger I want it to have some flavor. This tasted like they opened a pack of 80/20 burger and cooked it. Granted much better than McDonald's or bk but flavorless non the less. You can add your own topping which I did but again nothing on this bugger had any seasoning. Maybe I am spoiled to The Vortex burger. Second, a drink costs over $2.00and all you get is a tiny 14oz (aprox) cup that you have to refill every 10 min. Third, tried their seasoned parm and herb fries. There was so much parm on them it was nasty. Couldn't find the fries bc of the coating. $$pricey!

The food is ok, but to be honest the burgers are not much different from Steak and Shake or even the Waffle House. That's not a bad thing and doesn't mean I won't be back I just had a little higher expectation seeing as its the new and trendy place to be in downtown Kennesaw. They did have Blue Moon pumpkin ale which I loved so much I had to go to the store and buy some. It went well with the burger. The fries were good, but were extremely salty. We waited about 30 min to get 2 little burgers and 1 order of fries a bit much by most standards. I also ate off a napkin as they stack everything on one little metal tray. I will give them another chance once its been operational a little while longer.

This place was quite expensive for a burger and fries. I had the veggie burger which was awesome but not for the price! The ambience and the customer service is good. I won't be returning due to the price. P.S if you love onion rings you will love this place.

Too expensive. The parking lot is the size of a postage stamp. What could this owner have been thinking. Burger ok but too expensive for what it is. Man, can we get a really good, go to burger joint up here with a lot larger than a postage stamp and some real value???????

The atmosphere is eco-trendy. The staff were friendly and helpful. For how much you pay for the burgers, however, it was more hype than delicious. The burger was ok, somewhat larger than a slider and slightly dry. I'd skip the burgers and just go back for dessert. The red velvet "concrete" (layers of cake and frozen custard},which was really good and thick.

Great burgers, fries and onion rings were on point (crispy, flavor, etc.) but the custard was the real winner winner, chicken dinner!!!!! I don't even know why ice cream is still made since custard is SOOOO much better!

It's ok, but too expensive! It's burgers and FF!! Over rated for the area! It's Kennesaw not Buckhead Atlanta! They will see that people will not pay those prices for a burger. Trackside is the same, over priced and they serve tiny portions... Want last!!

Food was very good. Had the cheeseburger. Wife had the chili dog. Both were good, but I preferred the burger. Bun was soft and very good. Meat was excellent. Wasn't fond of the cheese dip on the chili dog. The chain is an "earthy" five guys, but the menu is not as simple. Unfortunately, this location is a bit small when crowded. We had to wait a while just to get our drink, which detracted from the experience.

Delicious food and desserts..great atmosphere! However, don't be in a hurry when you go. Wait time for food can be anywhere from 15-30 minutes.

This place is great. Great atmosphere good food. I have been here 4 times abd the quality is consistent. You get what u pay for here. Comparing it to a burger at waffle house is a bit of a stretch. And quite honestly it nice to see something other than a McDonald or burger king.

Great new place to eat in the area. The Breakfast All Day burger was amazing and the fries and onion rings were the best ive had in a long time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, but seeing as how it is a new place, the seating was a it scarce. Overall the food was great and very well priced. We got out the door for two for just under $24 with a beer, we will be back!

Another "high-end," overpriced, franchise burger joint is not what the arteries and wallets of Kennesaw's good citizens need, unless the food is exceptional. Burger and fries were good, but not good enough to make me forget how much I paid for them. There was also no (or weak) AC inside. What Burgerfi has going for it is a good beer selection, desserts (which I did not try), and a great location with a nice upstairs porch. With those pluses, they could probably succeed selling mouseburgers, and the place will almost certainly be popular.
