My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight. Chips were hot, fresh and crispy and the salsa was uber fresh and just enough kick. Cheese dip was creamy and very rich with just enough jalapeño. My Margarita was really solid. I had the super burrito with steak and it was very good. A good mix of tastes and very fresh. Nothing had that reheated or old taste that you can find in some restaurants. Both entrees had plenty of food with a good serving of sour cream and guacamole etc. My wife had the fajita quesadilla and loved it enough to bring home the leftovers which she rarely does. Service was exemplary. We had 4-5 different people check on us while we there and our waiter had our drinks replaced before we could empty the originals. With 2 sodas, a large margarita, an app and 2 dinner sized entrees we barely broke the $40 mark. We have a New Mexican place!!

My son and I came on a Monday night. Still, I was surprised to see so few cars outside. It was pretty empty. Service was quick. Would come back when it's busier to get a real feel for service. My son had the steak fajitas. I had the steak fajita quesadillas. My food was good and a healthy portion. I also had the daily special - 16 oz homemade sangria which was pretty good. He also had a healthy portion but his fajita meat was a little bland. Everything was fresh, including the salsa. Will definitely come again.

The old las palmas. I have been to Los Arcos three times. I see only one reviewer who didn't like it. I liked it enough to come back 3 times in 8 days. The service is way better than I got in Mexico but the food was as good.. Give them a chance, they are just starting out. It is pretty authentic mexican (I don't mean taco bell, I mean Jalisco/Villahermosa etc) Margaritas are $3 including frozen strawberry. Good drinks no skimping on alchol...Yum They serve fried Grouper, which is delicious and cooked perfectly. Not sure where they get Grouper, but it tastes fresh. Hard to find in Ga. Second meal was the three carne asada tacos; tastes like the good ones I get in Chicago. We had Brittany as a waitress twice now. Friendly and helpful. I'd say cute, but my wife reads Yelp. Sitting under an umbrella watching cars drive by enjoying another $3 margarita. Life is pretty good! If you like authentic Mexican dishes, they have a lot to choose from. They are reasonably priced and delicious. Don't let one bad reviewer keep you from giving them a try.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
