Definitely not your typical pho restaurant, which is exactly what attracted me to this place. I found this spot on yelp and immediately grabbed my husband and to Pho we went. From the outside, it looked crowded as the parking lot was filled with cars and people being dropped off at the door, but we found a parking space at the front and went in without an issue. Went inside and there was maybe a 5-10min wait for a table which was expected for a Sunday I guess. Inside is actually very nice. Old decor and what I think was a spiral staircase in the corner lol but nonetheless, nice. Anyway, we were seated at a table with a family was waiting right before us. The waiter gave us water and immediately took our order and even recommended some dishes (no issues here even with the language barrier). The good: the food came out super fast. Barely a wait. We got the regular size pho - husband got shrimp, I got the beef. The portion for the regular is HUGE! I can only imagine the size of the large. But omg it was sooo good! I think it's $7 or $9 but man is it worth it. We got the shrimp rolls and shrimp ragoo (hubby likes shrimp lol). I'm not a fan of shrimp rolls so I didn't care for it by my husband ate it with no problem. But omg the shrimp ragoo...AHmazing! We loved it so much that we ordered another plate and they even gave us more in qty than the first lol. It was that good! Oh and the fresh lemonade was really good. On the sweet side and a lot of ice but we loved that also. Everything tasted great. Now to the bad: it's not THAT bad really, but after you get your food, they disappear. We had to wave down multiple waiters to get someone to come back and refill our waters. Also, the family that we sat with *face palm*...ok so they put everything in the middle of the table so you're ultimately sharing with the the family at the same table. No problem except that the lady next to me kept putting her trash right on the utensils! Not the restaurant's fault but I think that it would help to maybe separate the utensils so that there isn't any reaching across or cross contamination due to *cough cough* messy people. Other than that, no complaints. We loved it and plan to visit again.

I love "I love Pho". Love at the first visit. Need I say more? Ok, if you insist. The largest size of the noodle soup is for four people. But they will give you small bowls to serve yourself and you can eat the rest for lunch and dinner the next day. I respect restaurants more when you ask for veggie soup and it actually comes laden with tons of veggies (in chicken broth but they told me beforehand). We also tried the summer rolls (nice, not extraordinary but huge) and a chicken fried rice that was out of this world. Might I add, wonderful staff, very friendly and efficient. It's just a year old on Buford highway but has franchisee owned locations elsewhere that are 4-5 year old. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant now. I love Pho - please don't change.

I was at Sweet Hut when I noticed something happening across the street - they were installing the 'I Luv Pho' sign. Yay! I've been to their Jimmy Carter location a few times in the wee hours of the night and had always wished they'd open a location closer in-town - realistically, Doraville is probably as close as it's gonna get. In terms of decor, this is probably the nicest pho restaurant there is on Buford Highway, there's a winding staircase that leads upstairs to managerial offices? More seating? I couldn't really tell. Not to mention the huge, fancy schmancy chandelier above the entrance, and glittery floral wallpaper lining the walls. Pros: The service here is quick. As soon as we walked in the waiter "greeted" us with a quick "Two?" and showed us to a table, a few seconds later he wordlessly dropped off two menus and two glasses of water. He returned a few minutes later to take our orders, I went first and chose one of their clay pot entrees, he said there were none available today and (again) walked off wordlessly - I presume to give me more time to decide. I don't know, he could've at least taken the BF's order. He returned about five minutes later to re-take our orders. The BF and I both chose pho, he had the (large) brisket and filet mignon, while I had the filet mignon and flank (small). The pho came out fairly quickly, it took just a few minutes. It was good pho, the protein was good, and the broth hit the spot. Cons: The entire time we ate, our server never came back to check on us or provide refills. We noticed our receipt on the edge of the table when we finished eating. (To pay you take your receipt to the register). Overall, the pho was decent, I'd definitely come back for pho after hours, otherwise I think I'll stick with Pho Dai Lai or Nam Phuong - their pho is better as well as their service.

Great coming back to Atlanta to sample all the great food. Great service here, quick and very good broth and pho. Shrimp roll was pretty good but may have been sitting for a little while. Good selection of non pho as well Probably will have to come back and try the pork Sammie

I Luv Pho soft-opened last week and officially opens its doors this Saturday, October 26, 2013. This is I Luv Pho's third Atlanta area location. For the grand opening, the restaurant is giving out free bowls of pho from 9am to 7pm. The restaurant is opening directly across the street from Buford Highway's Asian Square (shopping center with Quoc Huong Banh Mi Fast Food and Sweet Hut). It's taking over what longtime Atlantans probably best remember as the old Pung Mie (Fung Mie) Chinese restaurant space. In recent years, there have been several failed Asian restaurants in this space including, but not limited to, Ocean Villa (Chinese), New Saigon (Vietnamese), and most recently, L&T Vietnamese Cuisine Hot Pot Specialties. I think I Luv Pho will finally be a winner in this space because it's an established local pho brand with successful locations in Norcross ( yelp.com/biz/i-luv-pho-n… ) and Duluth ( yelp.com/biz/i-luv-pho-d… ). I'm a fan of both locations, not only for their pho, but for their other Vietnamese cuisine as well. The restaurant will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I visited over the weekend and the menu was limited due to the soft launch. The restaurant space is still undergoing some renovations, though by the time you read this, they may be complete. The bright, giant, entryway chandelier from Pung Mie is still there. I don't know for sure, but it looks like they're going to open up an additional level of dining on the 2nd floor. The space is huge and, like downstairs, has a bar. In the past, this space was also used for special events and wedding receptions. I Luv Pho serves about 20 different varieties of pho, but the restaurant is much more than just pho. Also on the menu are fresh Vietnamese spring rolls, banh mi (sandwiches), bo kho (beef stew), com (rice dishes), com tay cam (foods served in clay pots), bun (vermicelli noodles), hu tieu and mi (noodle soups using rice and/or egg noodles), banh canh (noodle soup made with thicker noodles), and cac mon xao (stir-fried noodle and rice dishes). The menu is affordably priced with most entrees just under $9-10. Pricing for pho is as follows: Small bowl - $6.95 Large bowl - $7.95 Extra large bowl - $9.95 I Luv Pho's extra large bowl is the largest non-competition size bowl of pho in the Atlanta metro. Pictures don't do it justice, but one can try: yelp.com/biz_photos/i-lu… . I had one of my favorite Vietnamese soup dishes, the banh mi bo kho (K51), and also tried the pho tai (P11). The soups were consistent with the other I Luv Pho locations. They were good. Bo kho is a rich, hearty, and flavorful beef stew with boneless chunks of beef, vegetables such as carrots, onion, and cilantro, and is served with a carb such as noodles or banh mi -- in this case, a French baguette. I like bo kho either way, served with noodles or with bread, though I prefer bread because I like being able to dip the bread into the broth and eating the soaked pieces. It's delicious. The broth is tasty, very different and more intense than pho broth. Also a bit oilier. The pho is solid. Pho tai is a simple version of pho where the only meat is slices of beef filet. It's an ideal choice for pho "beginners," less adventurous eaters, or folks who just prefer simpler dishes. My usual standby at any pho restaurant is the pho dac biet (P10) which includes slices of beef filet, meat balls, flank, bible tripe (stomach), and tendon. All the different cuts of beef and organs make for a delicious and satisfying bowl of pho. Pho sides include culantro, cilantro, basil, bean sprouts, jalapeno, and lime. Be sure to add the table-supplied hoisin sauce, Sriracha, and garlic chili paste to your bowl of pho and/or use them as dipping sauces. Other menu recommendations: A2 - Egg rolls A3 - Spring rolls C30 - Broken rice with 7 "special" sides including egg, pork, Vietnamese meatloaf, and veggies B61 or B65 - Vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and small egg rolls Vietnamese drinks and desserts are available. Drinks include teas, coffees, sweet soy milk, and some unique beverages like chanh muoi (salty lemonade) and soda chanh (fizzy lemonade). They aren't as bad as they sound. If you decide to get dessert here, I suggest one of the che puddings (N20-N23, e.g. che dac biet). These contained crushed ice and various colorful, sweet bean and jelly fillings. Also consider sinh to (fruit shakes). They come in interesting flavors like soursop, durian, and jackfruit. In comparison, I think Pho Dai Loi and Pho Bac have better tasting pho, but you can't beat I Luv Pho's 24/7 operating hours, which is a huge plus. I prefer I Luv Pho over Pho 24 (also open 24/7), though Pho 24 still works in a pinch. In the end, I'm happy I Luv Pho opened a location ITP. I foresee many visits in the future.

During my only 1-2 times I ever been to Sweet Hut, I have noticed an interesting brick building that just sits there. I can think of 3-4 places this building has, and unfortunately, every business there has bitten the dust. Another thing I have noticed is that the chandelier has stayed there too. The last time I was in town, this place was called L&T Hot Pot. I came home it was called "I Luv Pho". Every predecessor before ILP was new to the scene and had to fight to build its reputation, but I am hoping ILP will have a fighting chance, as this is the third location they have. Daniel B, Vyvy T and I decided to meet at Asian Square and brainstorm for dinner ideas. As we were standing in the parking lot, the idea to eat here came about. All we had to do was walk across 6 lanes of Buford Highway madness. It was like Frogger on crack (I love jaywalking, FYI). As we approached, we had no idea the place had just opened on Thursday, so I really really hope we were there during soft opening times. Speaking of open, this will be a 24 hour location, which is clutch for that area (there have been SOOOO many times I have left Sweet Hut looking for food other than Waffle House and Woody's at 3AM). We got a seat and then the fun began. At the time, there was only one menu for the whole restaurant, so we had to wait for the table before us to finish ordering (long time taking bastards!). When we did get the huge 2 sided menu, she informed us they were only serving pho at the moment (what a tease!). Since I have only had pho one other time in my life (at the ILP on Jimmy Carter/Britt)- I needed my brain to get refreshed. I stuck with what I knew- the XL beef filet bowl. The food came out rather quickly, and was a great touch to a cold night. I had not used chopsticks in a while and it was nice to know I didn't lose them in the monster bowl I had. They offer fresh herbs and veggies to throw in there, but I usually just squirt sriacha and some mint in mine. It was a pleasant meal! One thing it did do was make me thirsty quick. They should have kept the pitcher at the table- maybe I was dehydrated from the day drive but damn! The bathrooms were clean but I didn't understand all of the glitter everywhere. I don't need to be answering questions like why I am coming out of the bathroom with glitter on me... Overall, it was a decent time here and I know they have some kinks to work out, but they should be alright. They just need to make sure the curse from the previous business owners does not plague them too. Consider this a 3.5 star review and I will go back.

This was our first visit to this location the I Lov Pho chain and, though it's in an elaborate building situated in the heart of the "restaurant zone" on Buford Highway, we were disappointed by our visit in several ways. I had the seafood on crispy noodles. It was nicely presented and had plenty of vegetables but the seafood portion consisted of large but mostly tasteless shrimp, fish sausage and a very few pieces of lackluster squid. There were no other kinds of seafood evident and though the vegetables were very tasty, the seafood itself was not. The dish tasted very heavy in the MSG department, also. My wife had pork barbeque on vermicelli. We appreciated that the pork didn't have the artificial red dye so often used, but it also lacked that special flavor so common in this dish and was not quite grilled to that ever so slightly crisp consistency that makes this dish "stand up and ask you to take note of it". Seems likely it was pre-grilled and reheated. If not, I apologize but it still tasted that way to both of us. Also, though the second floor apparently has some rather glitzy seating areas, not much has been done with the first floor to distinguish it from any other BH eatery. That's a shame because the space is unique and could be utilized to dramatic effect of a little effort and imagination were used. In short, our experience was a 3.5 at best but I decided on three because 1) it's reflected average of four stars seems to overstate the case 2) accordingly it was a letdown and it's frustrating to see a place and a cuisine not live up to its potential.

My friend and I wanted to see what the hype is at I luv pho. She had pho which was very bland and I end up eating stir fry seafood combination which was pretty decent besides the broccoli being bitter and squid was over cooked therefore it was chewy. I wouldn't be coming back here for pho but definitely would try other stuff on the menu..

Best veggie pho in all of Atlanta! The broth is not vegetarian, but it comes full of veggies like bok choy, mushrooms, carrots, onions, broccoli and baby corn. The owner is extremely friendly and very accommodating. Staff is quick and nice. The XL size pho is enough to feed a small village. Also, try any one of the bubble teas- so good!

E X C E L L E N T L U N C H ...... (and cheap, too!) The last time I ordered pho, I chose one with what amounted to beefy parts. I didn't like it. So this time I played it safe and chose pho ga -- white meat chicken. My friend and I split a large bowl, and an order of basil rolls with shrimp. It was enough for the two of us. $7.95 for the soup, $2.95 for the rolls: a great lunch for less than $6 (plus tip) each. I though the pho was flavorful and good, particularly when jazzed up with the basil, lime and beansprouts on the table. There was also what looked like cilantro, which someone commented is really wild coriander. 'I Luv Pho' is a nice looking restaurant, more upscale than others on the strip. Our waiter spoke good English. Without us asking, he brought a ladle and a second bowl, for us to divvy up the soup. Little touches -- the slice of orange in each water glass -- made for a very pleasant lunch.

The pho was good, much better than a lot of the ones I have had recently at other places. For me the most important thing about pho is the broth and this broth was amazing, very flavorful. Had the large bowl and it was very filling. The bowl comes with all the necessary toppings. It is going to be my go to pho place this end of Buford.

This is my preferred Atlanta pho spot. Hands down the best pho I've tried in the ATL so far. The lemongrass chicken with rice is delish, and is my wife's absolute favorite. Closest to my Mom's that I've tried. Very reasonably priced and consistent quality. Excellent shaking beef(bo luc lac) and grilled pork (com thit nuong) which are rice dishes, too. I love I Luv Pho!!! : )

This I Luv Pho is ok!! I feel like this place isn't as great as the first location and the second one. This place is pretty small for a I Luv Pho and it just doesn't feel like a the other two places. I came here with a group of people for lunch and I got their Pho Dac Biet. I feel like the pho wasn't that great. There was something different the pho here. I can't say its bad but it was ok. The flavor in the pho is way way different from the other two places. Their meat taste different and I don't like eating thick pieces of meats. Services here wasn't that great. They come once and never come back!!! I don't think I call for this place as much but this place is better than Pho 24. The only one thing that is weird about this place is that they don't open 24/7. If they place open 24/7 liked the other twos then maybe I will come back here more than the places.

Good for satisfying pho cravings. I hadn't seen red onions in pho before, but any kind of onion is always more than welcome in my meals. One of the beef specials (sorry, don't recall the number/name) was fantastic. It was kinda like a Vietnamese style Mongolian beef: sweet and savory sauce, lots of onions, and even an extra dipping sauce. If it wasn't so far away from me, I would visit more often!

I admit, I'm a bit skeptical of Vietnamese place with English in their names, because I'm picky. I assume that they cater to American customers and therefore the flavor might not be as authentic. However, the flavor of the ph broth here (most important part of ph for me), was quite authentically good. Noodles were at the right temperature and texture. No complaints. I guess they do love their ph. My Vietnamese friend who frequents Atlanta confirmed that "I love pho" is the best place for ph in Atl. There are several locations and my friend said the one Satellite Blvd is the best location, but I've nothing to complain about this one.

I would definitely choose this place over soba in East Atlanta. I take the time to truck to Buford if I went my noodles and I Luv Pho was one of my first Buford Asian food yums. Their pho tastes on-point and if you're REALLY hungry and craving that warm noodle soup, they have a huge bowl that you can pretty much dive into. No lie, the bowl takes up half your table. Parking isn't a problem and it's a perfect fix for anyone who feels sick and needs to sweat out all the toxins!

  • Jang C.

Ah the old Pung Mie location. It is cursed. Many businesses tried to claim it, but they have all failed. Can I Luv Pho survive? Probably not. The first thing I noticed: it was cold inside. It was middle of December and they didn't turn the heat on. Man, I didn't realize they were doing that bad. The curse is in full effect. At least they had space heaters everywhere. I had the Pho Dac Biet. It was ok. The broth was tepid, watered down, and tasteless. I remember the original location had a nice, beefy, savory, fatty broth. This one tasted weak. I did like how they had meatballs and tendon, but the weak broth killed it. So I came for the pho and pho is what they should be good at. But the cursed place made them forget how to cook pho. Oh well. At east they're open 24/7.

Been here twice since one of my other Buford Highway vietnamese hidden gems closed down.. twice will turn into thousands....great, cheap, fresh fare off of a giant menu. the clay pots with broken rice ,,,,,the shaken beef and the bun with beef all awesome...so im assuming that all of the menu is just as awesome.. wish the hours went longer on weekends though

Sadly my trip to Quoc Houng was interrupted by their abnormal closing on a Thursday. Actually, it's not abnormal for them, but it is abnormal for the rest of us. I understand closing on a Monday, but Thursday? What the pho? Sorry, I had to do it. That being said I immediately spotted I luv pho across the way. It's right across the street from Asian Square. I made a quick decision that me and my coworkers would eat there instead. I'm glad I did. The Vietnamese place here before was terrible. I Luv Pho however brought happiness and light back in to the space. The pho was a big hit with my group of suburbanite coworkers. The grilled shrimp bun was on point. I'm so glad that there is a decent Vietnamese place close(ish) to 285 now. It makes the lunch hour that starts in Sandy Springs much better. *Front register guy told me they will soon be open 24/6.

I saw just today that Daniel B. attended a "soft opening" of I Luv Pho's newest location on Buford Highway. I happened to meet up with a friend across the street who told me that she and her bf had recently eaten there and [at that time] they had no menus and options between three dishes only. Coincidentally, some other friends decided to go out for Pho on this side of town and someone suggested coming here. My friend and I finished up at Sweet Hut and went across the street to wait for everybody else. As soon as I walked in, I immediately noted that it looked almost identical to when L&T took up this space. Funny thing, when the beau walked in some time later, he said the same exact thing. The only difference I noticed was the unique I Luv Pho chairs they have at the other locations. I hope they eventually redecorate. We were seated and immediately informed that they currently only have pho, which was fine -- that's what my friends were looking to eat, and it's always nice to have a bowl when it's cold out. Can you believe that it's actually cold again? I love sweater weather! Anyway.. There's only a few things worth mentioning: 1. I ordered a pho tai (rare beef eye round) but received one of the other meats. They could've at least let us know they didn't have any. 2. Sizes are: Small, Large, XLarge.. but the large is more of a medium. 3. Typical of I Luv Pho, the waters have a slice of orange inside. I always request without. As a side note though, I would like to say that the employees are honest! Or at least our waiter is. After we ate and paid, we did what my friends and I like to call, "the Asian goodbye." You know, when you go outside and hang out, trying to end your conversations, and then end up migrating closer and closer to your cars but it takes forever to actually leave. So we had been outside for a little while when our waiter comes out and asks if anyone has forgotten their phone and holds one up. Surely enough.. it was mine! I hadn't even realized I left it on the table. Some time later, he popped back out after a couple left and gave them their to-go order that they had apparently forgotten. KARMA! Good things happen to good people and he's definitely one of them! :)

after just one week of eating here, i found myself craving for their food, and what a lovely day it was. again, we ordered the XL bowl of pho and split it and ordered a side of the fried wings appetizer. Again, the appetizer came in well after the soup, but I dont give a damn! it was delicious! service was a bit better although we still didnt get a smile from them - but in all fairness, theyre not being rude, ok? oh well. snarl at me all you want but im still coming back cuz the food is that good!

I have been to a lot of pho places around, this one was good, but not my favorite (as we know there are so many to choose from in the ATL). I got the pho with filet mignon. The meat was VERY good quality, I was impressed! They give you a little boat of bean sprouts, limes, jalapeños, etc. all of this was very fresh, too! The only thing I didn't like so much was the broth. It was a little too oily for my taste. Also, it wasn't as flavorful as some of the other phos that I have tried.

    (3)
  • Damien B.

The extra large pho is huge. Ten bucks for a gallon of soup. I was happy and full. Pork skin spring rolls left a lot to be desired in texture and flavor. But the chicken ba mi was packed with flavor. It is a must stop on the pho trail

  • Christine T.

I enjoy a big bowl of pho when the craving hits and I Love Pho satisfies it. I also love that it's right across the street from Sweet Hut. The atmosphere is very nice and spacious. I brought my little one with me and even she enjoyed some of the pho noodles. The staff was very friendly and prompt. I would come again for my pho needs!

  • Kiami M.

If I could give it less I would. I went in to get a Togo order of pho, I asked for filet mignon in it. But when I opened my order nothing was in the broth which was ok but the meat was completely uncooked and sitting in a bag on the rice noodles. The blood had spilled into them as well. It was the most mortifying this I've experienced with a restaurant Togo order. We called to complain and get a refund.

Delicious I must go back for more Pho. Its either you get large or extra large. They say its small but it isn't. Everything tasted so fresh and yummy. I wish I didnt eat a snack before falling onto this place.

Best pho. Love it. The broth was just perfect. Huge portions of everything! Lots of fresh veggies and meat. The waiter came by and checked on us often and refilled our drinks without asking.

  • Monica S.

This place is my regular pho place because it gives huge portions for a reasonable price. A small pho is sufficient to fill me up for around $7. That said, the service can be a bit slow at times (but they are always friendly). One word of warning: the vegetarian pho does use a meat base (chicken I'm pretty sure). My girlfriend was not aware of this and it came as an unpleasant surprise.

Really great pho with fantastic broth. I particularly appreciate that the meat and noodle servings in the soups are so much more generous than I've seen at other restaurants.

This place is a jewel among Vietnamese restaurants in Atlanta. It is located in the old Pung Mei building. The place is usially packed with a mostly Vietnamese crowd after 12 noon on the weekends. They offer Pho as well as some other traditional Vietnamese fare. If you are a fan of Vietnamese, this is definitely a place to go visit. Highly recommend this place

Wonderful Comfort Food! This place has a great selection of soups, appetizers and lots of full plate items! I have been here twice and both times the food came out fresh and fast! I enjoyed the pork and rice today! This place is a great addition to Buford Hwy!

Awesome Pho. That's all there is to it. There are three sizes. Small, large, and small animal trough. Seriously. The XL is the size of a punch bowl. You may want to climb in and swim around in it...soooo tasty. I also enjoyed the crab Rangoon and these spring rolls with crispy pork skins served with a peanut sauce. Holy crap. Those were the balls. Go here for Pho. It's good and it won't hit you hard in the wallet.

Absolutely the best Pho I've ever had. My boyfriend, and I have tried several places around town only to be disgusted. The flavoring at this location is just so on point! This is our go to place when we need our Pho fix!

The restaurant is new and fresh looking inside. Very inviting with courteous staff. You first notice when you enter is the fantastic appetizing aroma of the coffee bar. The menu is typical Vietnamese cuisine. Service was quick and my Bun Thit Nuong was very good. The only caveat is the parking, which is tight, but don't let that turn you away from trying this place..

Can I give this 3.5 stars? Its honestly in between "A-Ok" and "Pretty Darn Good"....as in, it satisfies my pho craving okay but i've had better. Its mainly convenient and pretty consistent. The restaurant, like most asian restaurants on Buford Hwy, looks a bit run down on the interior, but its not that bad. I'm not sure why they purposely make their curtains look like their broken but I just ignore it. The service is pretty good here as well. I've tried their broken rice dish, rice hot pot, bo kho(beef stew), shrimp rolls and of course pho. Not fan of the broken rice dish but then again, it was my first time trying that dish in general so maybe I just don't like broken rice dish in general. The hot pot is absolutely horrible...don't try it. Just don't even. It has weird pineapples and stuff that shouldn't be in a hot pot rice dish and the rice was so burnt on the bottom that it was inedible. The Bo Kho was delicious though, you can pick your noodle and I went with rice noodles although I have heard that the traditional noodle you're supposed to eat with it is the egg noodle. The meat in the stew is so soft and so flavorful but a bit greasy which is expected in a hearty beef stew. Now finally, the pho, pretty good! The noodles are cooked well, a bit "al dente" and the broth is "OK". Its nothing extraordinary but definitely hits the spot. Shrimp rolls? also "OK". Doesn't hurt to give it a try yourself if you're into pho. Its definitely one of the better solid pho places off of Buford HWY.

The server was nice and quick about refilling the water. I ordered the combination pho, in a large, the one with a little bit of everything. The broth was good not too salty and it was pretty delicious. I would definitely come back.

I luv Pho is located on Buford, right across from the "Asian Square". The building itself is large and airy, which makes for bustling experience when full, and is just a tad eerie when empty. The pho is delicious, fast, and reasonably priced, with a full selection of meat options. They also make a decent banh-mi. I wish they offered a combo with a small pho and half banh-mi like some of the other pho places around Buford do, but the soup is good enough to justify a trip (or two, or three) anyhow. The staff are very friendly, but do get overwhelmed when very busy, so don't be shocked if you're seated next to an un-bussed table if they are packed.

Dare I say it? I prefer this place over Pho Dai Loi! Boom! This is my new go to pho restaurant. Service is on par with any other Asian restaurant but the pho is tasty as a mother f'er. I've also had the Com once, it was decent and I've had the Bo Kho as well, I really enjoyed it but my mama makes it better. Overall I give this place a 4.3 stars.

Good food, and lots of it for the price. You can order pho in three different sizes (small, large, and x-large) and they all big. X-large is HUGE. Worth the trip.

We came in around 8 pm. No waiter in sight to greet us. We milled around for 5 mins before a server came by and seated us. Strike 1. Then we were told they don't serve anything but pho and bun Bo hue. Strike 2. This is a 24 hr restaurant or they claimed to be, yet the menu was restricted to just 2 items? Ridiculous!! The restroom was dirty with broken faucet . Strike 3. Too many wrong with this place. Seemed like they were not ready to open for biz. I also hate the decor and ambience. Not coming back ever. Back to pho bac for better service and menu choices.

I love the x-large bowl, the first pho on the menu. The meat is one of the best of all the pho I have tasted before.

Some people might think that it's weird to give a pho place five stars, but I really think that this is as good as it gets. The pho was excellent, wasn't too greasy or oily (I hate that at some pho places, there's a thick layer of oil on the very top, ickk!), and very flavorful. A lot of the guys we went with ate the large and it was more than enough for them, but still wanted more because it was so good. The banh mi they have is really good too- they have both chicken and pork. It was so good that we ended up ordering another chicken banh mi after we ate all of the first one. Had to do the kind of tilt and tear with the baguette, but I mean it's in a french baguette, what other way can you tear off the bread? But, the reason I give this place five stars is really the service. I've never been to a vietnamese/pho house that every single one of the staff spoke fluent English. They continuously checked up on us, asked if everything was alright and was very attentive and prompt to us. Asking for more of anything, we got it right away. A couple of us were visiting and the waiter suggested some of the cute cafes/ dessert bars to go to. Better service that some of the four.five star restaurants out there. Oh, it's really yum that they put orange slices in the water, also!

I like this place but I need to go a few more times to see if it will stick. The Pho was ok which is my standard. Not the best around but it was good for the end of another snow in here in Atlanta. The appetizers did not impress me here but if you go for Pho then you are ok. The day I went was a bit rough for them because most people were still iced in their homes so they were short staffed. I will go back to see how things are on a normal night.

After trying their other location, my family and I tried this location. I ordered the pho with meatballs again and it wasn't as good as the other, I think the Satellite Blvd location. However, the atmosphere here was really nice. They had a spacious 2 story location, with speedy waiters and it was nice overall.

Coming from california this pho was amazing. Very surprised. They dont skimp on the meat and the service is excellent.

The first time I had pho here the taste was very good, but not much noodles for a X-Large Bowl. The next time we went there the soup base for the Pho must have been loaded with MSG. Because after I ate the large bowl, driving home hands started getting really sore, and a bad headache started. Service was not so good either. 3 out of the 4 main orders were wrong. I am really sorry that this happened, because I thought we had a good place to go.

the place is fancy for a pho joint. dim the lights and play some trance and you got yourself a club. the noodles are better than most places but then again pho isn't something extravagant. good place for after drinking and hangovers. like you never left the club

The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. We have never had pho and the waiter took time and explained everything on the menu thoroughly. He was extremely helpful. As I stated, this is the first time I have had pho so my review may not be on par with pho connoisseurs, but the food was awesome. I had the P13, which is one of their special. I really enjoyed it. The extra large will feed 2 people. It's massive! The price is great for something that size. We will be back again.

I've been MSG bombed... I mean the broth had flavor, from MSG. But other than that, it had very little going for it. The tendon in my pho was probably what saved this from a one star pho experience, it was almost the correct texture of tendon that I adore. Almost. The Extra Large bowls were neat, but I've seen that done elsewhere, and really, if it's an extra large bowl of MSG, what's the point? My mouth felt dry and I still wanted to gulp down the broth that was making it worse! Yes, there's a whole tray of the normal spices, yes, it's got large seating, yes, it's packed with people of an Asian nationality on the middle of a Sunday afternoon. But it's called "I love Pho", and it ought to be, "I love MSG"

The charbroiled shrimp rice vermicelli I got was super awesome. The shrimp wa aspired right and cooker perfectly. I love it with sriracha hot sauce and fish sauce mixed in. Very filling lunch. It's super busy during lunch time. After ordering my food came in about ten minutes. You pay at the counter at the entrance. There are three locations of this restaurant. It is pretty popular for their pho. Also it is 24 hours so it is busy even at late night on weekends, after all there are not many late night places to eat. This place is right across the street from Sweet Hut Bakery! And very close to Paris Baguette if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth after a meal :)

Vietnamese food here is below average, I only came here as a last resort at 10:00 pm on a Saturday night as all other restaurants were closed. It was fairly busy, I assume because all other restaurants were closed. The pho is average, the egg noodle soup (mi thap cam) was plain and had too much celery, the spring rolls used pork bologna instead of real pork, fried chicken wings were too small and salty. Blah.. If you are looking for good vietnamese food please steer clear of this place. If your looking to fuel yourself after a drunken escapade and don't care about taste or quality, this may fit the bill. Better vietnamese options are Nam Phoung.

One of my favorite pho places to go to! **For anyone new to pho: It's Vietnamese noodle soup, which usually consist of a beef broth, wide rice noodles, and beef. The pho here is pretty consistent, specifically at this location. The broth is really good and flavorful. I usually get the pho with just the plain thinly sliced beef. They also give you three portion option: small, large, and extra large. Like most places, they'll bring you a plate of bean sprouts - I like to get mine steamed - and some herbs such as cilantro, basil, and culantro. Limes and jalapenos are also provided. Kind of working backwards here with this review, but I felt I needed to highlight their pho first :) Anyway, I also like to start off with the shrimp spring rolls. I get the kind that's wrapped in rice paper and comes with shrimp, herbs (usually basil), and rice noodles. It's served with a side of peanut sauce, but I usually like to dip mine with soy sauce. It's one of my favorite things to start with when I get pho. Parking lot is an average lot size, and I've never had trouble finding a spot to park. I've also never had to wait to be seated. They're really quick with seating their customers and taking care of them right away, which is awesome if you're really super hungry. I've been back plenty of times to this location because it's been really consistent and that's always important. That's why it's definitely one of my go to pho places here in town. But on top of being a pho place, they also offer other items on their menus such as banh mi and rice dishes. I haven't tried any of those items yet but will definitely soon!

Great place if you LUV pho. I come here for lunch and dinner all the time and it's not the CLEANEST place but they definitely have QUICK service. It might just be an asian restaurant thing but they don't really keep things hygienic. I saw flies buzzing around my food and the bathroom toilets are always clogged. But I still rate this place 5 stars because I HAVEN'T gotten sick haha. And their staff is pretty friendly - I note this one waiter who looks young. He was very social with us and made good food recommendations. I love that they stay open late and they are right across from SWEET HUT. So the location is pretty convenient for me.

Great pho. Broth is savory and comforting like mom's. I also like the Hu Tieu My Tho with the clear noodles. Broth is flavorful. Whenever I get it as take-out, I could eat this for two meals. The noodles and broth are very filling. It is spacious inside, and I rarely have to wait long for a table (take out is another story). There's plenty of parking. Great customer service.

This place is awesome! On Sunday night, my friend brought me here for diner. Today is Tuesday, and I'm already back! The staff is extremely friendly, the food is fresh, and the prices are comfortably affordable. For these last two visits, I've had the vegetarian pho (chay pho) and the spring rolls with tofu. Also, to finish my meal off, I've ordered the avocado milkshake. It's absolutely delicious! Please take the time to check out this quiet, great tasting place.

The best things about most pho locations are: large portion, low(ish) price, and quick service. True to this, I Luv Pho is a good spot to grab a pho lunch on your lunch hour. It is not close to my office, so I was worried about making the trip and arriving back in time, but all went well! It was not terribly crowded during lunch, and our food came out less than 10 minutes after ordering. Awesome. I ordered the Seafood Pho, and although I did not like any of the "seafood" add-ins, the broth was fantastic! And after trying my companion's steak pho, I am convinced that I just picked a poor add-in. Their tofu spring rolls were delicious. The peanut sauce was thicker than I prefer, though- not sure if it was just a thick batch or if it is always like this. Overall, a decent quick lunch spot, but if I'm not pressed for time and I want a really good pho, I'd retreat back to my usual haunts.

[TL;DR] Low on the health rating, high on the flavor. Omnomnom... a great place for pho and more. Okay, 80 B. That's the health rating. If that scares you, you'll probably want to start reading another review. :) Otherwise... Look man. I'm not a pho-nnoisseur or anything. I just know I like a good broth. I Luv Pho gives me that. That with chewy, rice noodles, and you have the perfect answer to a rainy day. I had the beef and brisket and enjoyed it all the way to the bottom of the bowl. Service was friendly, prices reasonable. I'll be making a trip back -- pho sure.

Great spot for quick and easy pho! My friends and I dropped in before a movie on a Friday night. We got there around 5:30 and had our pick of seats. By the time we left, the place was getting a bit more crowded. I started with a cafe sua da, which always hits the spot. Part of me wishes it were not served in a styrofoam cup though. Flavor is great - presentation is definitely casual. I didn't order a boba shake on this visit, but I have tried them in the past. They are thick like a milkshake, with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Once I tried to order the avocado shake, and it was unavailable. The pho is wonderful. Three different sizes are available, and the small has always been plenty for me. I ordered the well done brisket this time around, and it hit the spot. I have also had the vegetable in the past, and it was great, too. Great spot for a quick and casual bowl of hot soup. Easy seating for groups and no problem separating checks, if needed.

Some pretty awesome Pho. Freshness, check. Great service, check. Delicious pho, check. Only minor complaint was that the "filet mignon" in the soup was a very muscly cut of meat and hard to bite through. Otherwise, this place is a great deal for the money and will be my second favorite pho in Atlanta.

  • Stephanie T.

This place is legit. They only serve BEEF pho, not chicken or pork or shrimp. As my server said to me, "pork and pho don't go together." LOL. Seriously though, it was very good and fast. I ordered shrimp rolls and a small bowl of raw beef and meatball pho and it was there in less than 5 minutes. I noticed some people had the large bowl, which is bigger than a human head. How can anyone finish it? I love pho and I've been known to throw down but dang...that is a BIG bowl. I also ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee to go. Awesome. The shrimp rolls were tasty and I loved the peanut sauce. Definitely will go here again.

I'd been to another I Luv Pho location over on Satellite Blvd a couple years ago, and I absolutely hated their pho tai broth. However, on my way home from a road trip, I decided after reading several Yelp reviews for the I Luv Pho location on Buford Hwy that it was worth giving this location a shot. The pho tai broth was much better than the Satellite Blvd location, however it isn't as good as any of the Dai Loi locations. They use filet mignon slices like my mom does versus the eye of round slices. Their pork bahn mi is pretty good using grilled pork slices. If you're not sure about certain pho hole-in-the-wall places or you just don't know about Dai Loi, I Luv Pho is a pretty good alternative... especially with it being across the street from Sweet Hut.

The only Pho place that I eat at now is at all of the I Luv Pho locations. I do like the Satellite location the most as the service is the best there. This Burford Highway location is not opened 24 hours and is usually closed by 10pm. Like the other Pho locations, they do have the same decor and have TVs. There is plenty of parking in this small shopping center. As for the food, I like the egg rolls, the spring rolls, pho, rice dishes, and the noodle entrees. I like that they put oranges in their water. There is one female server at this Buford Highway location that is funny, nice, and friendly. Her service is pretty good. If you come in a large party, just go up to the front of the restaurant where the cashier is and split the check there. Overall, I am starting to like this Buford Highway location of I Luv Pho and will be dining more often.

Good food. Service was a little off. I'd come here with a small group. Not sure I'd trust them to get my order right with a large group. Tasty food, not the best service. Got the filet mignon. Would get it again.

Flavorful broth but small tofu portions. I ordered the vegetarian pho and made the mistake of trying to pronounce "pho chay." Do yourself and the language a favor and just order by the assigned number. I ordered the large pho because the XL pho looks like a sink. The large was the perfect dinner entree size and a pretty good value. I would have liked more vegetables and tofu though. The waitresses could not have been nicer so don't be afraid to ask questions. It is set up cafeteria style so it's a nice spot for a very casual lunch or dinner. It's not too far from 285 so easy access.

While it isn't my absolute favorite bowl of pho in greater Atlanta, it's pretty darn good. The noodle portion seemed a bit small, but the broth was excellent and there were plenty of shrimp. As for service, it's good enough. They kind of just leave you to it, and when it comes to pho, I'm fine with that.

This has been my longest running favorite place to get pho, and still my favorite for Bò Kho spicy beef stew with French bread as it's the best. Also my new favorite place to get a Pork Bahn mi. The made it juuuust right. I was however disappointed with my pho, and appetizers this go-round. The crab Rangoon is usually delicious and this time overdone and too crunchy and chewy. They didn't put any lettuce or carrots and jicama on the plate either which I liked to eat together. The crab and cheese mixture inside was funky this time and I'm assuming it's from being overlooked. I always get the P11 Pho which is filet and flank. The best! But the last two times I've been in-I've not received the order I requested. The time before it had tripe and meatballs and this time (yesterday) it had I have no idea what. It looked like fat, big huge hunks of it. Look I'm not that picky but I can't eat a lot of the stuff they put in pho. I'm a flank girl. I think I saw it said p15 on my ticket. It just bothered me that I eat there at least twice a week and order the same hung EVERY time and somehow recently they've not paid attention to what I ordered and never came to check or ask if it was ok. Hopefully next time it'll improve and I'll speak very clearly...

Some people are die-hard fans and some don't care. I think I'm in the middle. I don't "luv" pho, but I like it. Especially during cold weather, but heck, I'll even eat it in the summer if I'm craving it. I Luv Pho occupies the old Pung Mie location and if you've lived in Atlanta as long as I have, you'll know it's not the original-original building, but the pimped out two-story building across the street from Asian Square (where 99 Ranch used to be). Just enough parking, so it shouldn't be too difficult. FYI, I Luv Pho's hours are wrong on the website. It says they're closed at 6pm on a Sunday (who does that??) but they actually close at 10pm. I honestly can't remember what I got but a bowl of goodness, so let's make this simple with pros and cons... Pros: - Clean space - Awesome spoons that will rest on the side of your bowl so you don't have to use your fingers/chopstick to fish out your fallen spoon - The XL bowl is REALLY extra large. - Bean sprouts were clean and decent - They have chicken wings on the menu haha. There are 6 on a plate for Cons: - The menu isn't as extensive because they don't do all the different combinations possible (sometimes a good thing) - No medium bowl available - A little more expensive than Pho Bac or Dai Loi If we had to talk about broth, I think it was good. It seems a little more fatty and I couldn't tell if it was too salty because I put in way too much lime. Either way, I'm glad I tried this place. I like how it's close to the 2-85 Buford Highway exit than Dai Loi.

I only been here once. If I never have pho before, I probably won't enjoy pho as much as now. How should I put it? Pho at I Luv Pho is just meh, leaning towards bland. I was with some out of town friends and they were buying dinner, so it would be so rude if I did not say the dinner was good. The truth? Ok, the pho I had at I Luv Pho was not good. It wasn't awful, just not up to standard. Service was very good though. In all, I gave this place a 2 star for the good service. Just can't say I love "I luv Pho". Won't be back, sorry!

The pho is great and their extra large bowl is huge! I not only like their pho, I like their hot clay pot dish as well. The atmosphere is relaxing. I might have to call I Luv Pho the best Vietnamese restaurant on Buford Highway. I've brought my wife and family here, and they also loved it. I'll definitely be back.

Tried this pho place for the first time. This is a great pho place. I got the chicken pho white meat. It was Very good and taste, everything to go in it was fresh not wilted like a lot of pho places. They have every type of pho to, chicken, beef, shrimp, etc. The service is fast to. I will definitely be back.

This new location is surprisingly good. Before this one opened, the other location left a really bad impression after they failed their health inspection in such a terrible way. Convenience could not win out the reality of their failure to consider the health of their patrons. That being said, we walked into the establishment and were shocked to see this large open entrance. It reminded me of those old-fashioned Chinese style restaurants with the grand entrances for the two story restaurants. We waited for a majority of our party to arrive before we were seated. Our server brought our waters in an awkward hodgepodge of cups, from margarita glasses to pint glasses to wine glasses. I ordered a medium Pho Dac Biet, which has a little bit of everything. The pho was solid, with meaty goodness and soupy deliciousness. Nothing mind-blowing. I do intend on coming back if the hours become 24/7 (or are they already 24/7? Not clear on the Yelp site and I don't remember what the sign on the door said...) Personally prefer getting my pho from Pho Dai Loi 2 or Pho Bac, but this is definitely better than Pho 24 and the pho from Lee's Bakery or Quoc Huong.

It's really hard to not like a pho place. The staff is generally friendly and the service is always really quick; it's like fast food but soooo much better! I was really hungry after my haircut next door and was really glad this was there and I ordered a XL bowl for lunch. Yes, XL. The broth was very tasty and the meat was tender, and my stomach was very happily stuffed.

After reading the reviews on here I was really excited to try out this place! My friends and I are pho-natics ;) and always try to find new places. Unfortunately when we first arrived we were greeted by a less than enthusiastic waitress who literally rolled her eyes when I asked for both tea and water. We ordered the egg rolls and they were pretty delicious (this is the primary reason why I'm not giving this one star). After we got our eggrolls we ordered a variation of pho (p11 and p13s). When it arrived we thought the meat looked a little off. The broth was a little too sweet and unnaturally dark in color. Overall it just didn't taste fresh. While dining on our mediocre pho we had to ask THREE times for water refills. Not once did our "friendly" waitress stop by our table to see how we were doing. In the end, I would not come back here. There are a bunch of other great places on Buford hwy that beat this.

I love this place! I always leave here stuffed and satisfied without putting a dent on my wallet that i regret about the next morning. The dishes are large enough to share. -service is friendly and efficient. :) -casual atmosphere with cute decorations. Only downside is they close earlier than the other locations.

FYI, my rating is based on two visits where both times I got non-pho dishes. I'm gathering from my dinner companion's opinion (who didn't like her pho) and some of the other reviews that the pho broth needs more work and hence their 3-star reviews. As other reviewers mention, this 3rd "I Luv Pho" location is in the former Pung Mie space. Ambience is cold and dark, and packed w/ mostly Vietnamese customers (good sign). FRIED SPRING ROLLS (2) Nothing special. Add chili sauce to the fish sauce if you want more kick to your dipping sauce. SPICY BEEF STEW W/ RICE NOODLE - $7.99 I remember getting this at their Norcross location and falling in love. Broth is rich and flavorful - I'm reminiscing and wish I had a bowl right now. Only downside - broth is oily. Chunks of carrots like American beef stew. Sliced red onions too. Since the regular pho is not getting rave reviews I recommend going for the spicy beef stew instead - you won't be disappointed. Next time I'd like to try it w/ French bread (vs. noodles). BUN W/ CHARBROILED SHRIMP AND PORK - $7.95 Probably one of the best bun I ever had - just three shrimp but lots of charbroiled pork and they weren't fatty at all (most other places are). Veggies and bun overall tasted fresh. If you love bun then you should try it here. THAI ICE TEA My friend had a weird experience - she ordered Thai Ice Tea and they brought this pink looking drink they claimed was Thai Ice Tea. We had to escalate to another older server who said we were right and apparently they didn't have Thai Ice Tea but highly recommended this Strawberry drink w/ Jack Fruit and Lychee ...but drink was super sweet and my friend only had a few sips. Maybe by now they have the real thing. Next time I'll try their pho and see for myself if the broth is indeed 3-star worthy. But if you're coming here for the first time, I encourage you to try the Spicy Beef Stew or the Bun w/ Charbroiled Shrimp & Pork instead.

I recently started getting my PHO FIX at I Luv Pho, after switching over from Pho Dai Loi because it's closer to my house and also conveniently located across from Sweet Hut! While I really enjoy the pho at both restaurants, I love the broth in the soup at I Luv Pho. It has a great flavor to it that you don't find in all restaurants that serve pho. The restaurant itself is a little nicer than Pho Dai Loi but it's not quite as big. Despite that I have never had to wait for a table. If you love pho or are just curious because you have never tried it, I would definitely check this place out. I can't speak for the other dishes as I have not tried anything besides pho, but I will let you know once I do!
