You would not want to stop here just by looking at the outside, but as I like to say, don't judge a book by it's cover! They are attached to a gas station, which is not the first "gas station" spot I like...lol. I was driving by one evening heading to my mom's in NC and starving. I am a pretty picky eater, but was desperate and they did not look like a typical fast food spot, so I stopped, and I am glad I did. On my next trip to mom, I actually PLANNED a stop here on the way 'cause the food was so good the first time I went. It is a simple menu, made quick, but fresh to order. They have this amazing miso sauce on the table that makes everything taste better, it is YUM-OH! staff is very friendly and accommodating and the prices are reasonable. If you are in the area or just passing through, this is a great lunch or dinner stop.

Not sure why some rating are low, this place is clean, has great service, the food is fresh, light. I ordered the shrimp and had the carrots swapped for zucchini and onions and they were excellent! Maybe it's just me, but I enjoyed the food NOT having heavy sauces or overly greasy. It was very good!!

Love this place! We were immediately able to place our order upon arrival, and were served our food within 10 minutes!! The salmon is positively delicious! The broccoli was perfect too. Will get more veggies and less rice next time... Each meal was served with a huge heaping pile of rice! The hot sauce adds great flavor to the rice... The ginger dressing and teriyaki sauce add an additional punch to the salmon and veggies :) the filet was also really good. We so enjoyed our delicious meal.
