So this is where we ended up after we didn't want to wait for Flanigans. We were really in the mood for seafood, so Japanese food seemed to be a good option. The service was good, but the food was just mediocre. There seemed to be quite a few regulars, so it's probably not that bad, but both my husband and I weren't impressed at all, even though we were both starving!

I have tried many Sushi Places in South Florida and I ALWAYS love Sushi Japon. My wife and I pretty much always get the Sushi for Two. It is always delicious. We have ordered the same type of combo in other places and it's never as good and never as good of a deal. The variety of fish in the combo is delightful! The Sushi: The fish is always fresh The Rice is always the right texture and sweetness. (So many restaurant have gooey sushi rice) It's always the right temp. (Not warm or borderline frozen fish as I have often experienced elsewhere) The restaurant is small, never loud and obnoxious. And staff is always friendly. I love this place!!!

I work near by. So i order to pick up. Every time i go, there packed inside. The bento box for lunch is incredible. There soo much food for one . you will never leave hungry. My sushi is always fresh and cold. The family is soooo polite. And ever since my first order they have remembered me. I will recommend them to any sushi lover. Not only is it great but its very well priced !

Great food, awesome sushi and wonderful service. I like family type restaurant since everyone help each other and team mentality is good. The chef is excellent and quality is very consistent. The Vietnamese food is above and beyond. I will refer to my friends and family.

[CAUTION] Hey People! Don't eat ins this restaurant! I had a Delivery today and I found a cockroach on the chicken low mein! This is disgusting!!! I'm sick to my stomach right now! I totally will not recommend this ever in my life

The sushi would fall apart every time I'd pick it up. The orange chicken was not good. One would think orange chicken is a safe option from the menu. :(

I eat here on the regular; wahoo, cobia, white tuna, marlin, they have all of the best fish; the baby octopus and the tuna tower are my mainstays. Never had a bad experience here. We went to Sushi Japon wanting to find a new place to have as our "go to" sushi restaurant. Sushi Japon isn't it. We ordered 1 sushi roll, 1 piece of masago sushi, 1 piece of sweet shrimp sushi, & a bowl of pho. Not too difficult, you would think. You would be wrong. Without going into detail about the problems with getting our food & the items that were not given but were supposed to be, let's just say that an hour after ordering, we got the head of the shrimp. It was evidently a tough thing to make since we were told for 10 minutes it was in the fryer. Mind you, there are only 6 to 8 tables in the place & 6 seats at the sushi bar & the place wasn't full. Anyway, the 1 star is because the sushi was decent. Not good enough to return, though. It's a shame.

Love the food here. The miso dressing for the garden salad is superb. The fish is supposedly delivered twice a day and you can taste the freshness in the rolls.Sashimi is great. Good service and a vast menu for a restaurant this size

A friend of mine recommended this place and I gotta say it did not disappoint! I ordered the Daimyo (sp?) roll and it was absolutely amazing. I'm a big sushi fan and I always appreciate fresh fish and good presentation. My brother ordered their Szechuan chicken and he was very happy with it as well. We left with full bellies and a satisfied palate! We will definitely come back.

You want a spacious place with a hostess and house music playing and a hip crowd? This is not it. Largest menu for a place it's size with variet of cuisines plus sushi.We are regulars and we enjoy the food. Now if they can get their website running consistently for online ordering......

Walked in last night and our order was taken. After 45 min the female owner came to our table and said they were starting our order. We walked out and will never return again. The place is small and not enough staff and your food is not prepared in the order it was received....tables that were seated after us were served before us...

They have good rolls at good price. They have a downfall there are very minimum rolls you could modify to your liking. They have a delicious complimentary appetizer. Noodles in what appears to be ponzu sauce of some sort. Service is good. Family oriented restaurant.

This is not a fancy, trendy, upscale type of sushi joint. It's a small, cozy, family run business that offers a variety of yummy asian cuisine- but above all else their sushi is the best. My husband and I have had sushi in other places in the area and even sushi abroad in China (haven't had the pleasure of eating it in Japan- yet!) and we always come back to Sushi Japon as it's our favorite sushi. The ginger dressing they put on the salad is delicious and the cold noodle salad they bring out as an appetizer is cravable! It's our favorite spot and I almost didn't want to write this review so no one else knows about our special little sushi place :)

First time I ordered here was some sushi for delivery.. wasn't that great. Second time I ordered I got Orange chicken and Crab Rangoons. Both of them have a stale taste to it. Not worth the money I put down.

Sushi Japon is the same owners as the old Sushi Tom of Weston. Ok food. Poor service. Uncomfortable restaurant layout. No hostess area. Cramped and in everyone's business. Consider takeout or delivery. There is better sushi in Weston. Better Japanese too. Better Korean. Also better Thai.

What they lack in atmosphere they more than make up in taste! The sushi is fresh. The service is wonderful. I have never been disappointed.

I love this place. I always get the spicy tuna roll with avocado on top for like $1 extra. These people know me and my whole family by our names and have conversations with us that's how regular we are here. It's not an upscale restauraunt but more like a take out/ easy going dinner or lunch. All the fish is fresh they bring in new orders I think every day. I definitely would recommend trying this place out.
