Pei Wei is the fast food version of PF Changs. Very delicious and affordable! I had the Teriyaki Crunch Roll, so darn good! I wouldn't miss out on the Crab Wontons. The Fried Rice combo is great. The Lo Mein is alright. Consider getting the rewards program if you haven't.

I'm literally here at least once or twice a week and will always get the pad thai. It's reasonable prices and usually the original portion is so much I just take some home and have lunch for the next day (the pad thai tastes better as left overs!) The staff is really nice, never had any problems at all. The only gripe I may have is that sometimes my food isn't ready at my pick-up time and have waited 15 or so minutes past the time to get my food. This location is way better than the Pines and Hiatus location!

This is the 3rd and last time I will ever be disrespected by this location, no they didn't tell me off or anything of that nature but my recent experiences have been negative so I feel it's time to share. First time, we dined in. We ordered (the restaurant wasn't busy maybe 10 people in the whole place) we waited roughly 45 mins for our food to be prepared and served. Second time, I ordered online. The food was extraordinary, really delicious (Mongolian beef with fried rice) I also placed an order for a cookie on the side. When I get home I realized they didn't give me my cookie, I called and asked for a credit on my card. After a month of so of waiting no credit was given. Today, I ordered online as well. Mongolian beef with a fried rice Original size.... Not the small order. When I get home I check my order and they gave me a 1/2 order (the small) I've ordered this dish to-go several times and this time I was given less than ever before. The only good thing about today's experience was they gave me the cookie from the previous order and about 15 fortune cookies. It sucks that they can't give consistent service. The food is delicious, really a shame. If there were another location close by I would switch but being as I'm far out in Weston, looks like no more Pei Wei.

Very good mongolian beef with fried rice. Friendly wait staff too. Good prices so it is definetely on the list of repeat places

Crab wontons have improved! But service hasn't. An apology goes a long way for me when you're out of something I ordered, especially ordering online, waiting, and then driving out only to be agitated and empty handed. Will not be returning.

Okay place.... Ordered Mongolian beef.... Thai dynamite... Lo Mein .... Lo Mein was the best.... Mongolian beef was highly rated but I thought it was a bit sweet... Decor was good... It was clean. Service was good... The food came fast... Quantity was enough... Price was 10-11$ per plate.... Enjoyed....

Good choice for Asian style food, freshly prepared. The lettuce wraps are very good as are the rice bowls. Ou order at a counter and the food is delivered to your table- it works fine. Food is tasty, mildly spiced and very decent portions. Atmosphere is sort of Asian cafeteria

It has gone down hill. Too slow. Sauce too thick and tastes off. Vegetables are under cooked. Will not be back soon.

I hate giving negative reviews especially when a restaurant serves decent food, but the staff at this restaurant is so incompetent on takeout orders. I ordered an hour and a half in advance and told them I would pick it up by a certain time and when I get there they can't find the order this is happened more than once

It's Pei Wei, what do you expect? The air conditioning is on full tilt, and the food is tasty. It's a chain restaurant, so there's a practical limit to judging an establishment that is unable to change to meet the needs of its customers. I would just say that I have eaten at other Pei Wei locations around the U.S., and this particular location just is not very friendly. I don't know if it's the staff or the Arctic weather conditions in the main dining room, but I wouldn't recommend this to others. The food is fine, so order "to go" and all will be good!

I remember the first time that I ate at Pei Wei's I thought, WOW! this is pretty good and more affordable option to PF Changs. Well, years late, I was wrong. While the food is not horrible, it isn't worth the price that is paid. Not sure if prices went up or if I was just confused but for PF Chang's to be the upper scale version of Pei Wei's, the prices are basically the same and the food quality at Pei Wei's is much lower. Honestly, if you have both restaurants close by, you are better off going to PF Chang's (although they have also fallen off a lot in my opinion). There are Chinese takeout restaurants better than this and cheaper than this. The last time that I ate here I order the Mandarin Kung Pao Chicken Dinner Select with a spring roll. I typically order the Honey Seared Shrimp but the time before this it was doused in sauce so sweet I couldn't really stand to eat it. Kung Pao is a typical dish at most Chinese restaurants so how bad could it really be? Well, although it was not overly sweet like the Honey Seared it was however, overly salty that again I couldn't really stand to eat it. So disappointing! The spring roll was fine but I would have rather that taste bad than my actual meal. My friend got the Sesame Chicken and an egg roll. He seemed fine with his but it was nothing to rave about. He would have rather gone someplace instead. I do want to like Pei Wei but the last two times I went weren't the only times I was left less than satisfied, so I have come to the conclusion that after many tries I am simply just not a fan.

I am a fan of Pei Wei to satisfy my chinese food cravings for lunch. This place in Weston is conveniently located in a plaza with other shops, parking is usually easy to find and available. I ordered the Tofu with honey seared veggies lunch deal which comes with either soup or a spring roll, now that I have tried both I think the second option is a tastier one, but the soup is ok just that it was too salty for my taste buds Quality of the food is great, portion size is fine for me I usually take home half the plate, restaurant is very clean and as always I love their cool soda machine, they also have great green tea with orange flavor Overall is a good experience, and i almost forgot to mention their amazing wasabi sauce

This is a buffet style PF Chang place...same recipies and same great taste. Best part, it is cheaper and faster! The take out side is extremely popular and well done too. They have great to go containers that can be re-used for lunch at work :) Mongolian Beef is my favorite! Try the different flavored tea too! Some leave a tip on the table for the service delivery staff, others don't...but if they give you any attention at all, what's the harm in leaving a buck or two.

Love their sweet and sour chicken... thats basically all I eat at this place. Crab ragoons and spring rolls are good as side items.

When you want a quick Asian inspired meal, with fresh high quality ingredients, this is the place to go. I like the Weston location better than the others in the area, because the staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is very clean. I have to remember that this is a chain (owned by PF Changs) because it doesn't seem so. They are always adding new dishes and have many special member incentives.

I have dined at this restaurant several times, unfortunately it seems that something has change, manager, chef, cooks ?? last fiasco....ordered Hot and Sour Soup, it was SO , but SO spicy that I had to throw it away..... I did not bother to call, since I didn't want to ruin my evening, but I am really thinking on forgetting about this restaurant.......

Have been to this place several times in the past. Don't know what's happened here but their takeout handling is now atrocious. Came to pick up order made 20m earlier and with a straight face manager told us it wouldn't be done for another 30m. Seriously?? When eating in the wait from order to food would at most be 20m. Totally unacceptable. I hate to say it but they have gone downhill recently and I can't recommend them. If they can't handle takeout competently they have real management issues. The restaurant is only as good as the people running it.

I have been several times to this Pei Wei location, and I've usually ordered the honey seared chicken.. Well this time, I decided to step outside the box and try something else: Mongolian Beef. Should've stuck with what I always get!! I got an extremely salty plate, with plain brown rice. I am glad that I didn't opt for the fried rice or added extra soy sauce, as it would've been unbearable to eat. Otherwise, the service is always great and fast here, so it's perfect for that quick lunch escape from work! I hope that this does not occur again, as I really love this place. This would not be something i'd recommend for someone suffering from high blood pressure, as there was tons of MSG.

Little to no wait despite its's preppy Weston location. Parking is usually a problem, though, in the Weston Commons Shopping Center. On September 25th, I had the Coconut Curry steak and fried rice. As for a drink, I had my usual water. The meal came as ordered - with extra sauce. It was hot and well prepared. I will visit this location in the future. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr, Davie, Cooper City, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Great place to go for quick but filling meal. Easy ordering at register, but difference is they bring the food to you where ever you choose to sit. So far, I've tried Honey Seared chicken & Mongolian beef. Both great meals. You can choose between white or brown rice for you health fanatics. I've learned that when you dine in, the food rations are much bigger than takeout. Don't forget to the order crap wontons & cookies. Both delicious. 3.5 stars

Quick service. Have been here a few times and ordered different things each one of those times. Always good and tasty. Tables always available. Wait times are minimal. They seem to be less hectic than the surrounding restaurants but the food is just as good.

I have been to a bunch of different locations around south Florida and I can easily say this one if the best one. Everything was perfectly cooked and served piping hot. The steak in my Mongolian dish was great sorry to say but the last few times I had it at other Pei Wei locations was so rubbery and tasteless it didn't worth bothering to eat it.

I honestly love ordering to go from this location, the staff is always really friendly and the food is consistent, I've never had any issue or a negative experience and I've been coming here for years, a quick simple option on those lazy days you can't be bothered to cook

Why does it take almost 40 minutes for 2 take out chicken and beef teriyaki ? Wasn't even crowded this evening.

  • Trish C.

I usually order online and then pick the food at the time I designated. This avoids the wait and the line is short too. They are quick with the food. Great, yummy, healthy Chinese food. My favorite is the hot and sour soup and the dan dan noodles. Husband loves the curry. Drawback is the difficulty of finding a parking space in the mall. Usually have to park rather far away to pick up the take outs

This is the worst Pei Wei I have been to because of service, I ordered takeout and the waitress was so rude, she messed up my order and my change, she made me wait over 45 minutes and I was late to work, nobody knew what they were doing and although the food was good, I would not go back on because of the most terrible experience I had, just choose a different Pei Wei than this one in Weston Commons, it sucks!

Pei Wei, need I say more. Asian American goodness! Fresh and made to order. Nice atmosphere and staff. Located in the south corner of the shopping center. My only issue is parking. Hope you like it as much as I do. Tell them I sent you and they will give you a free fortune cookie!

I used to go to this place until one of the waiters made my new born baby, my 3 year old daughter and my wife stand in line without making any consideration. I've been at other Pei Wei restaurants and I can tell you their service is better than on this one. I talked to the acting manager and nothing happen. This is one Pei Wei I will never visit again.

Great, quick, fresh, made to order... Eventhought is very busy, the waiting is not that long. A great for a chinese food fix. They had simplified the menu, but still they have a lot of options. Fried rice, pad thai, lettuce wraps, and newer items like suchi and others are always great.

I think this place is great. Its food is awesome, plus it is in a convient place. Its noodles are sweet and there is no lack in quality.

This place is slowly falling apart. I have been coming here since the day it opened. It seems as of late, the quality of food and the wait times are getting worse. I had a total of five family members with me, on a Sunday. It wasn't very busy to begin with. We ordered all at the same time, including two different appetizers; crab wontons and wonton soup. We waited a good 30 minutes until our dinners came out followed by another 15 minutes until our appetizers came out. So much for appetizers. Most of the products in their fancy new coke machine were out, we were all pretty much forced to pay for water. Everyone at the table agreed that the food prep was not very good. My dish tasted like it had been microwaved, and was not fresh at all. Needless to say, it will be a long time until I come back here... I really hope they get this place turned around, it used to be so good!

Hadnt been to this Pei Wei in a while. It seems that management has changed.. for the better! The staff was much more attentive and pleasing. Also the location is cleaner than I remembered. The food is always good.. nothing too special though.

Went to Pei Wei last night, I have been fairly new to Yelp and I'm not the best with my reviews yet.. However, when I go I get the Mongolian Beef, well done, and that's the determining factor in how good it really is. I love the Mongolian sauce, but if the meat is a little too gummy and not crispy then I probably won't like it.. BUT, when it's crispy.. YUM! It was crispy last night! I also usually get crab wontons, very good most always. The hot and sour soup is pretty good too.

This Pei Wei Weston location is clean. The people here are nice and kind. We ordered the crab wontons, thai basil chicken with fried rice and the lemongrass chicken salad. I do not recommend the lemongrass chicken salad because it barely had any lemongrass taste. I love the crab wontons because it really does have crab meat in it and the cream cheese is not overwhelming like the ones at the Chinese restaurants. I definitely enjoy the thai basil chicken and will get it again. This is a must go.

Fast food Asian style. Food is tasty and good. Service is friendly and fast. Store is clean and the menu is adequate. If your looking for a quick Asian food fix this is the place. You walk up to the register and choose your meat, then the sauce you want on it. All the dishes have some variation of dozen veggies they serve. Everything is thrown together and cooked real quick and by the time you grab your utensils, fill your soft drinks and find a table, your meals are being delivered. Okay, so that is a very simplified explanation of how it works. It is good and fills the Asian craving niche when you don't have a lot of time for a better restaurant. They also have chop sticks at the tables for the more adventurous and fortune cookies for desert. Yummy.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
