Finally got around to trying I love Tacos today and it didn't disappoint. Really great service at the bar and food was delicious! Guacamole was SO good, but the salsa was too spicy for us. Fish Tacos were amazing and the Wet Burrito is definitely the best I've ever had. Oh and the beer was cold which is always nice =) We'll definitely be back

Having I Love Tacos so close to my job is becoming a problem. I legit need to have their Wet Burrito at least once a week. It's so good that I never get anything other than that. I have only gotten take-out from there, never dined in so I can't really say much about their service. But honestly, if you're into Mexican food and love burritos and cheese, please try their Wet Burrito. Their queso is so creamy and delicious - it's amazing! It's the best burrito I have ever eaten in my life. Go. Do it. Now. Also, it's huge so it doubles as two meals in one (I usually have half for lunch and the second half for dinner).

ZERO. It's a Saturday afternoon 5pm and I had the most infuriating experience here. No respect from the waiters. I had two tables come in after me and they ignored me. Had no waiter the entire time. Wasn't greeted Wasn't given a menu Wasn't given silverware Are you serious, so infuriating. I had to YELL two times to get the waiters attention. They keep looking at me and passing by. It was pathetic.

Delicious Mexican food for every palette. We had the cochinita pibil and rajas a la crema tacos and were thrilled with our selection. They also have a great selection of tacos, as well as flautas, tostadas, and their American counter part, burritos. Their specialty dishes looks great like the Mexican lasagna and the mole. The place is beautiful and very fun. I highly recommend it for a fun dinner or lunch.

I came to I Love Tacos with my girlfriend a Thursday night after a long day at work. A singer was entertaining the restaurant with mostly Latin music. He was an awesome singer and brought life to the night. I had an amazing time eating, drinking, and dancing salsa with my girlfriend. Definitely coming here more Thursday nights.

I am so sad to be writing a negative review for this place because I really do like their food, but lately, they having been pulling unethical practices at check time. This place was great at the begining. Food very good, prices were ok, portions good. But things have changed and it's a shame. Chips are not free and neither are tortillas. I ordered a Steak a la Tampiqueña. The portion of the entire dish was half the size it used to be. To make matters worst, the menu price was now $16.99 and when I got the bill, they just helped themselves to an additional $2 for that same dish. When I complained and asked to see the menu to verify the price they told me prices had changed (but no one bothered to point this out nor has their menu been updated). I had also asked for a side of soft corn tortillas (which they only provide 4 of them) and when I asked how much the price was the waitress told me "$4.99"!!! OMG, are you kidding me?!!! So I told the waitress to call the manager and that I would not be paying $18.99 for a dish that was advertised for $16.99, some guy came out and took some money off the check, and when I complained about the price I had been told for the tortillas he told me "that is only $2.50" Uhm..ok??? So apparently you can get charged random prices at this place. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Amazing!!! I used to live in DF and this place reminded me to Mexico in many ways. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because of the 2 giant plasma TV. I can't stand tvs in restaurantes playing sports!!! Please help me in this fight!!! Service awesome, food.... Just like in Mexico. We order Cochinita Pibil tacos and Rajas a la crema Tacos. The place is fun. Nice, smart. We'll return.

I first tried "I Love Tacos" located in Pembroke Pines. I remember leaving that dining experience, not impressed. But I decided to give "I Love Tacos" located in Weston a 2nd chance. My boyfriend and I dined here on a Friday night. We just missed happy hour (which ended at 6pm) but I didn't mind since I purchased the $15 for $30 off Yelp. For appetizers, we ordered the ignacio nachos -topped with melted dip of three cheeses, pico de gallo and picadillo. I've seen the pictures of these nachos on Yelp, but I couldn't believe how HUGE they were. Those nachos are enough for at least 4 people to share. The nachos were simply delicious! For entrees; I ordered the wet burrito - chipotle ground beef, mexican cheese, rice and beans topped with 3 cheese sauce, and my boyfriend ordered the habanero cream enchiladas - seasoned chicken breast, topped with a succulent habanero cream sauce and melted chihuahua cheese, served with rice and beans on the side. The wet burrito reminded me of the ignacio nachos, just in burrito form. It was huge and delicious! I didn't try the habanero cream enchiladas, since I don't like spicy. But my boyfriend really enjoyed his meal. I think he primarily enjoyed the rice and beans that were served on the side. Overall: Food was really good. Prices were above average (expensive in my opinion). Service was average.

First off, if I was reviewing just the Ignacio Nachos this would be a solid 5 stars from me, and you can read my review of the other location to confirm that...but this location had some service issues which had left me hesitant to come back. It's important to note - it's hard to find! I'm not knocking them for that, but anyone who is coming here needs to know! I would search for the Comfort Suites as this area of Weston is a bit of a confusing strip mall area, and we finally found I Love Tacos after 15 minutes of circling. Trust me, it's right next to the Comfort Suites. Ok, so this visit. After receiving an email from them (not sure how I got on their mailing list) I saw they were advertising Cinco De Mayo specials from the 1st - 5th. $3.99 Margaritas, free nachos etc. So after a long day at Slide The City we headed over. We arrived at 3:29pm and I swore the email said this special started at 3:30pm, so we asked and the waitress was told happy hour started in 1 minute. I'm pretty sure if we hadn't asked about this special it wouldn't have been brought up, since the free nachos weren't mentioned either at any point. I let that slide since I came for the Ignacio Nachos and I'm assuming whatever was free was not that. Though I must note - I just reread the email and it clearly says 3-6pm, so I'm not sure what the fuss about waiting 1 minute to 3:30pm was.... hmmmm. Ok, so we ordered the Ignacio Nachos and some margaritas. I honestly had intended to get another dish, but those nachos are soooo damn big (in a good way) and after 3 or 4 of us dug in and ate them all we had no room left. Seriously these things are like crack. 10 stars good. Since I felt like I needed to order a little more, plus wanting something sweet, I went with the Tres Leches Cake, which I split with Alma H. and found a bit disappointing. Definitely wouldn't order this again here. So then we waited. Sure we were all in deep conversation, but there was a good 30 minutes at the end where I literally watched every single server bypass our table and refuse to make eye-contact with me. 30 minutes, and that's just what I counted - it was probably at least 45 minutes of zero interaction with our table!! Do you know how many more margaritas I could have drunk if anyone bothered to ask? Finally I had speak up and say excuse me just to get the check. Which I will note was split easily without much hassle. But all in all, that 30+ minutes of being completely ignored left me a bit annoyed. I'll stick to the other location for my Ignacio Nachos!

Gringo here, this is the best Mexican style food I have ever had. I had the Mexican Lasagna. Phenomenal is the word that comes to mind. Service was satisfactory, I sat at the bar, wasn't expecting much but they kept my glass filled with margaritas and I left happy. Muchas Gracias.

Delicious! Cute, ethnic little spot in Weston, Fl. We had s great time here and even used a yelp discount and saved $15.00! The food was great, and it was not TeX Mex. Sauce is nice and spicy and margarita are on point. I also got a sweet serenade by the mariachi. Fish tacos are relish, very fulfilling.. Had lots of leftovers.

Amazing Nachos, good service and decent tacos make I Love Tacos a great place to take some friends to share some good Mexican food. We came to I Love Tacos looking for a fresh unique Mexican restaurant with authentic dishes. After sampling some tacos at the Yelp Taco cook off event, I hoped to find a new place to get my Mexican food fix. The place is hard to find but a previous Yelp reviewer got it right. If you find the Comfort Suites, I Love Tacos is right next door. I uploaded a video to amplify this point, check it out to see what I mean. The restaurant is colorful and clean and was fairly busy even 30 min before closing. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The good news: The Nachos here are simply incredible. Truly the best item on the menu and absolutely huge. We had 4 people in our party and could not finish them. You could easily order nachos and be done because you'll struggle to make room for tacos after eating them. The not so good. I was kind of disappointed in the tacos as I remember them being fresh and vibrant at the Yelp event and they were just ok on this visit. I think the problem was freshness. The Taco meat seamed old and overcooked as if the meat had sat all day in a warming pan. For $10+ you should get better quality. I'm not sure if they would have been better if we didn't have nachos because the nachos are a hard act to follow. We tried every variation of tacos including the steak tacos (carne asada), the chicken tacos, the shrimp tacos, and the tacos locos (pork tacos with pineapple). All were good but suffered from the same issue, freshness. It's common for line cooks to prepare a lot of food to make filling orders faster and easier but when you let meat sit all day, it just doesn't taste good. I hope they fix this by preparing smaller portions more frequently and tossing out old food. The service was very good. Our server was attentive and polite and responded to every request. I would suggest bringing a few friends and ordering nachos for a 5 star experience. As it was I spent about $75 for 4 people and probably could have gotten away with $20 for nachos and drinks. To recap: excellent nachos, so-so tacos and good service. Also Yelp had a special offer ($15 for $30 in food) which was a great deal (thanks Yelp). I'll give ILT 3.5 stars for the best nachos I've ever had, but I would suggest ordering the nachos the ordering more good if you can finish them. I bumped the star rating to 4 stars because I think the food might be fresher earlier in the day and we just caught them in a bad night. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt.

So bland, so disappointed. In Weston for business and saw this place around the corner on Yelp with high reviews. What a mistake! Ordered the Tacos Locos which say on the menu they won awards... They didn't taste like anything at all. Super bland. The chips and salsa were $4, and it was chips with HOT enchilada sauce. I asked if they had actual salsa and was charged another $2 for the tiniest serving of Pico de Gallo... Really? Glad I don't live here. Second restaurant in Weston that has been terrible. Should have stuck to Taco Bell.

The food is simply delicious. The atmosphere is awesome as well. They have live music from 9:30pm till close on weekends. However, the service is terrible which I don't understand because the restaurant is super small. It is under staffed and the waiters do not know how to work under pressure. The only time our waiter came to our table was to hand us the bill. The busboy was who took down our order, served us the food, and checked in with us (which isn't his job, but he was so embarrassed with his coworkers that he took it upon himself to try to fix it). Terrible management which is reflected in their lazy staff. If you want yummy Mexican food, please do yourself the favor and order to go.

Holy wet burrito and Mexican lasagna! !!! This is by far the best burrito and Mexican lasagna experience I may have ever had, I love tacos caterd too me made me feel like I was the king of the restaurant everybody was helping us everybody works together to make your dining experience an extreme pleasure I want to think daniel the waiter that was predominately helping us and everybody else that helped the experience was awesome and I look forward to my next meal at I love tacos. I have been to Mexico and the restaurant feels the same, a little over the top but feels nice or comical depending on your vision of what is mexican.... I will be back, and I look forward to my next I love tacos experience. .. Holy burrito! Till next time

My first time coming was a great lunch well spent. I had the shrimp enchilada and they were out of this world. This is my second visit, and I tried the vegetarian burrito, but since they don't have shrimps as an option, I added it for an extra charge. You have the option of having the shrimp just plain or bread. I chose breaded but I don't recommend it. Just too heavy and greasy and took away from the burrito. Now, I'm no Mexican cuisine connoisseur, but I'm almost positive that the cheese in a burrito should be melted, piping hot even, but not with this. It was super disappointing. It was just so dry that I had to ask for their "wet" cheese as they call it, which is actually amazing, to dunk it in, to put that needed texture into it. The veggie burrito comes with rice, black beans, and green peppers, but I'm not too fond of peppers so I asked for it on the side. I felt there was enough peppers to completely drown the contents of the burrito in, it was almost depressing. I feel they should have had at least a small portion of tortilla chips on the side to add some crunch. I do find them to be pretty overpriced. Soft drinks do come in a can so no free refills. The options on the menu are extensive and can really please anyone's cravings. All the waiters were attentive, friendly and eager to help, constantly checking tables that aren't even there's. Our waiter was good for the most part but he was pretty overwhelmed with the traffic of patrons coming in that it took him 15 minutes to finally bring us our check. This place does get busy and its pretty small so it did get crammed and loud. I would not come back to eat one of their burritos again, but I would definitely come back, try their happy hour, go one of their nights where they have live music, and introduce it to some friends.

We were in the mood for some tacos not from Taco Bell, I happened to look up places on Yelp and just saw the name, but failed to read the reviews. Well to start off the place needs a good scrub down. The menu given to my son had food on it, and the table seemed a little crusty. We had about 5 different waiters come to our table but had to ask several different times for the same items. When we got out guac and chips, the chips seemed cold and old. When our food arrived the Taco dish, I shared with my son was cold and my husband's quesadillas really didn't have much cheese. When our bill came, it was $50! They charged me $4.50 for an extra taco, $2.50 for a side our sour cream, and $2.50 for a small side of pico de gallo!!!!! For those prices we should have gone down to Rocco's Tacos! Very disappointed

Our third stop of the Food Fight Taco Edition was I love Tacos. After tasting a few tacos which did not knock our socks off, we didn't know what to expect before coming in. We went in and immediately proceeded to sit at the bar. We figured since we are only just trying out their tacos for the challenge, we might as well just order a round of drinks to go with it also. After reading the description of the taco they put up for the challenge, I was really looking forward to it. I mean, who wouldn't love onion, Crema and Queso Fresco in their tacos. I love the taste of their tacos, and all the ingredients were there. Particularly they weren't stingy with the Guacamole and the Tomatillo Sauce. The serves was great. The bartenders were very eagerly explaining the tacos we were having. You can tell they are very passionate about their food and proud of it. Even though at the end they didn't win the challenge, but in our mind they had the best tasting tacos, and we will go back and revisit to try some of their other dishes.

This place is the Willy Wonka Factory of Mexican restaurants. And that's a GOOD thing. The tables are adorned with either posters of famous Mexicans or collages of covers of spanish gossip magazines (think: the Enquirer en Español). Each table has a mini wrestling ring (with a mini luchador in it!) and the roof is adorned with brightly colored decorations. It's just a Mexican fantasy land - and I love it. I'd been to the other ILT in Pines - but never to this location. This one is a heck of a lot closer to me - so they will be seeing my mug more often. I came in with a group and we got a few things to share. First...the Nachos. When I say nachos it doesn't do it justice...these are proper nachos that deserve the capitalization of a proper name. The Nachos. A massive basket, lined with aluminum foil - you toss in some crispy chips, drench it in some sort of cheese sauce, fresh queso blanco, pico and that's it. Sounds simple right? NO...it's an experience. I promise these nachos might change your life. We got the vegetarian option, not even sure if you can add meat, but if you can...this would be my meal each time. We also got Queso Fondido. It had chunks of sausage in it and comes with accompanying tortillas. A little salty, but still delicious and a great starter. The staff is also top notch here. Super attentive, nice, offered up recommendations, answered questions...nailed it. I'm a fan, and will be back to try more things on the menu very soon.

Cheapest Mexican restaurant ever! Good food, but they charge 3.99 for chips, and give you soda in a can (no refills)! Give me a break! Additionally, it was very hot in the place. Suggestion: pry open you checkbook a little for some AC, a soda fountain, and learn that free chips are what is EXPECTED by Mexican restaurant goers. Penny wise; pound foolish. For literally cents worth of chips, coke, and AC, you would've had me as a lifelong patron. Instead, I won't be back. The food isn't THAT good to get away those kind of shenanigans. The staff was very pleasant, however.

I love Mexican cuisine and unfortunately, this place missed the mark. I had the taco dinner which had no flavor. My husband and I went on a weekday about 4pm. We won't be going back.

Tacos were okay. Nachos, not so good. No ice tea? Really? I wasn't too thrilled with this place, but it's not a bad "eh, I need a quick meal". Make sure you look for coupons, as they readily take them. Tiny tables, but nice staff. Good for game watching!

Well if tacos is what you are into, this spot has your cloud 9, shrimp tacos are just the right size and the breeding is outstanding, great brunch, or dinner, and by the way come in on a empty stomach because you will need the space.

I hate this place, it's dusty and gross and the food has no taste. It's very greasy, I thought this why I live Tacos by Chef Omar but it's not and it's gross. Don't ever eat here, trust me you will end up throwing up like I did afterwards.

Came here with a couple of friends to try the $1 taco they were offering in Sept for Yelp's Taco Fight promotion. Im a vegetarian, so I couldn't try the taco, but everyone in my table seemed to enjoy it. We also ordered nachos (without the meat) and queso fundido. Holy mother of nachos! I was INCREDIBLY impressed with how delicious these nachos were. Definitely will be back soon JUST for this dish, which by the way is massive! Cones in a huge basket and can easily be shared by a group as an appetizer. The queso fundido comes with tortillas and sausage (so I was not able to try it but everyone seemed to really enjoy it). The service was spectacular. The waiter was very nice and took great care of us. The place is cozy. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good Mexican meal.

The food was great but service was molasses. I love the kitsch decor though and again, the food was good. I'll give this place another try before deciding the wait time for the food outweighs the luchador condiment trays.

One of the best happy hours in town! $2 beers and free meat nachos (can't remember what they're called) A-ma-zing. Their other food is also great. Their wet burrito is a fan favorite and for a good reason, it's delectable. Also try the Mexican lasagna, it was suprisingly good

I just order tacos from my hotel and forgot to ask the price. When it got here the total WAS $$$60!!! Are yall drunk?? I ordered 12 tacos total which comes to 5 dollars a taco! White people, do not go here, go to a damn taco truck. The tacos will be way better and will cost more like a dollar a piece. This place is literally just playing on the stupidity of white people. I Love Tacos, I can't even hate, yall have serious game even tough you just ripped me off.

Pretty good--quick service and the food was at the table almost as soon as we had sipped our drinks. Getting chips and salsa brought to the table is like pulling teeth and took several requests. Once brought, the amount of salsa was very small. I believe there are universal laws here that are being violated...Section 32 of the Mexican Restaurant Code clearly stipulates that chips and salsa be brought to the table with or just after the menu. Section 33.6 also says there should be enough salsa for the entire basket of chips. Food is good, but the experience would have been far better if they got rid of the live music which prevented us from hearing our server and each other.

Love the food at the Pines location. Weston location not so much. Atmosphere is great and staff is friendly but food has not tasted fresh last two times I've visited. In fact, the food comes out so fast it feels like I just stopped at McD's for a quick meal. Please work on it bc I do love your menu.

Our family LOVES this place. The food is amazing - the best Mexican food I've had. Try the tacos loco and the sangria. The service is always great. The atmosphere is colorful and fun. And, if you happen to go on Thursday night, as we did this week, you'll have entertainment. Armando serenaded us and our fellow diners with wonderful music. My family and I ate, danced at our tables, and sang along with Armando's encouragement - even those of us who didn't know the Spanish songs!

This is a very good place for a nice night out with your date, but if the nanny fails you....well it's very Kids friendly. I have been here couple of times, but forgot to check in. The first impression is that you are in a party in a local restaurant in some "barrio" in Mexico. The owner (Monica) seems to be always there and is the most friendly person on earth, she will explain the menu and give you great tips on what you like, the kids have a little open area in the restaurant with tv and some games to keep them busy. Monica will come by the kids (sometimes) with some goodies. So far I tried the tacos which are good, the tacos locos is my Favorite, because is with pastor sauce, very tasty and don't need to put too much in the taco and second favorite is the fish tacos. Will come back to keep on trying!!!!!

This is the best place to go for authentic Mexican food. From the atmosphere, to the 5 star service and the excellent food, I give this little gem 5 stars with absolutely no hesitation. Must give it a try! You won't regret it!

Surprise surprise, finally weston has a good mexican food restaurant...tiny but the food more than makes up for it. Everything was awesome. The sauce in my shrimp enchiladas was out of this world and the tacos locos with pork were as good. I usually do not eat the side beans but theirs was like bacon heaven. The plave looks cool and the staff is very friendly. Will be back for sure. Did I mention they have a bar...will have to check their happy our.

Love this new place in weston. The decor is so different and refreshing compares to the typical americanized american restaurants. Food tastes authentic and fresh I had the chicken tostadas and guacamole with chips. Both were delicious! The services was also excellent. The waiters are mostly young but very attentive and kind. This is definitely one of my new favorites in town.

Forgot when I went, maybe a friday, and they had two big parties celebrating so the place was packed but the live entertainment had everyone singing and dancing so that was fun to see while eating. I had to try their staple meals so I went with the Wet Burrito and the Ignacio Chips as appetizers..it was A LOT of food and all was very good tasting and different..but not a 5 star type of deal, I've had better tacos and Mexican food at other places..but friendly service, may go back one more time to see if I update the review.

The servers and service was great. We ordered a couple different items to get a good view of the menu. We left satisfied. However i dont recommend this restaurant for drinks. I could have lived without the margerita. Initially when i walked in i was put off by the decor and cheesy mexican theme. I know its a mexican restaurant but its looks like they went to party city for decorations. Food was good though.

Fun atmosphere, but their signature "wet burrito" is basically just swimming in foul-flavored homemade cheese sauce. Service is good, tacos are tasty as well. A little overpriced for amount of food served. Obscure location.

Came in with my friend since she had bought a coupon for this place. We ordered the saddest Margarita. Didn't even finish it all because I felt like it was lackluster. We ordered the specialty tacos since it said it was award winning. It was $15 for 3 tacos. We mistakenly thought it came with sides like a normal Mexican place that charges that much would. When the tacos came they were ridiculously small and average tasting! They must really be struggling to pay the rent because 3 little tacos should never cost $15 without sides, even if it did win some award. Not worth it for the money. It's not even like this place is super fancy where you would expect to say a little more. It's a flip flop and tshirt establishment so I have no ideas why it's so pricy. Way too expensive for unremarkable food and we left hungry. Totally won't visit here again.

My parents excitedly recommended this place while I was home for the Thanksgiving holiday, but I was sorely disappointed. The ambiance was fun and the service was great, but the food quality left a lot to be desired. The guacamole was pretty flavorless (I've had better from places like Chipotle) and my chicken burrito was pretty much inedible. The chicken tasted canned and was a super funky purée type consistency. My dad seemed very pleased with his meal, but my mom had a salad and said her grilled chicken was too dry. This is not a place I'd visit on my next trip to South Florida.

This was a welcome surprise. Food was excellent and so was the service and entertainment. Looking for something new on a Friday night, we found this little corner restaurant hidden away in Weston. Tacos were delicious and so was the mole sauce. The singer they had was a big plus, which is saying a lot since i'm not a huge fan of this type of music. He made it sound as great as everything else our experience was this first visit. Coming back soon for more.

Hidden GEM in Weston, great atmosphere if you like live music, Mariachi night on Saturday is awesome. I was also there on a Friday night and they had a great live singer, with a large choice of ballads and pop songs. The food was great, in particular I highly recommend POZOLE Soup and MOLE Enchiladas. Service was very good, so my experience was a total 5 stars.

I am so glad that this place resides in my town! I LOVE the food at I Tacos. Obviously the tacos are delish, hence the name of the restaurant, but everything here is amazing. They have an award winning wet burrito which is so good. It's huge (as are most of the dishes) and can be shared by two people. Oh and there's also an award winning habañero cream enchilada which is super spicy and ridiculously good - a must try if you can handle the kick. They also have a kick a$$ Mexican lasagna which is my current crave when I go there. It's got a spicy green sauce which is lick-a-licious! And you have to have their guacamole - really fresh and yummy. And to wash it all down, have a tall glass of their refreshing agua de jamaica or horchata. And the service is great too - it can be a bit inconsistent but the servers are all very friendly and accommodating. If you go on a weekend night, it gets packed because they have live music blaring, people dancing - it's a party! If the owners are doing front-of-the-house, they are super friendly and do everything they can to make you feel welcome.

We walked in at the weston location...empty with only four tables occupied. The restaurants appearance is definitely nice with an authentic mexican design. We ordered the queso fundido for appetizer and it looked amazing. I give it a 6 out of 10. Very greasy with half a teaspoon of chorizo. They should change the description as we thought it was a mix from what we read. $10 later it wasn't worth the money. They give you four flour tortillas , they become cold after 2 min, despite it had a good taste it was an expensive instant heart attack. My hubby ordered tacos locos which the presentation was excellent and full of ingredients but dissapointed at the lack of flavor. Seriously not even the guacamole had a flavor. The bits of chicharones was the most tasteful part of it. I ordered carne asada. ..presentation good , topped with cilantro and onions...what an epic fail. I had to add lemon for a hint of some taste ....I was upset I had to order sour cream and pico de gallo as a side...and it still lack the taste. Overall, waiter was great, clean location, nice ambience, food lacks flavor, too expensive for three dishes $42. Drank water. Never again. Photos attached. Btw, kudos on the purse/bag holder. I wish all restaurants had this.

First time here..food was great and service was great..had the guacamole and chips. It was chunky, but very fresh. Also had the spicy habernero enchiladas. Delish! Will be back for sure!

My son, a 13 year old and very picky boy begs to go to I Heart Tacos all the time. He has great taste obviously. The tacos are authentic and the best in town. Ambience feels like old town Mexico and the staff are very friendly. The vast selections of hot sauce is a plus! The only thing they could do differently is offer freshly made margaritas. Otherwise, they have great selection of Mexican beer.

Bring back the old chef... The Weston location has completely changed their food. No longer the original taste. Won't go back.. Will try the Pembroke Pines location before I cut them off completely.

We loved it!! Finally we found a restaurant in Weston with some character. The owner was fabulous the waitstaff great and the food was awesome. My husband had the wet burrito, I had the pastor tacos with a margharita and my kids had the American Choice tacos. All food gone except for my husband who couldn't quite finish his.

Delicious!! Found it through yelp and so glad we went!! Really good food, cute ambiance and great fast service!! We had the wet burrito, salsa & chips and shredded pork taco!! Also had a glass of wine, which was a very good portion and a Dos XX beer, they had a special tonight for sangria or margaritas which were 2 for 1 one but we opted for the beer and wine. Everything was very tasty, never had anything like it before but was really good!! Read they have live music on the weekends!! Will definitely be going back!! Was a little hard to find, tucked away in a small strip mall...give it a try they won't disappoint!!

I am baffled as to why this has 5 star ratings. We love mexican food and have tried plethora of mexican restaurants and this by far is the worst. I ordered their award winning (as they claimed) locos tacos which sounded good but almost inedible. It was so dry that I had to drench it in their salsa which wasn't that good either. $15 for 3 inedible tacos. My hubby got the wet burrito which was an OK but for $13 we've had better ones. Also, We had to pay $4 for a side of chips! Total bill was $40 for food we did not enjoy a bit. Not coming back for sure.

Pork flautas are AMAZING and crispy, guacamole was simple and very tasty. Service was quickly and helpful- cozy restaurant in a weird part of town lychi margaritas were stellar! Will be returning for the flautas!

Pretty good Mexican food, not authentic in my book but one of the best around the area, ambiance and decor are lovely and interesting, service is friendly. If recommend that you get the wet burrito or the habanero cream enchilada. Some of the dishes are a hit and miss but these 2 are consistently good

The habanero enchiladas are a must try.

Definatelly one of the few with "Authentic Mexican cuisine" in South FL and the only one in Weston. If you want to experience great quality Mexican food this is the place for you. Recipes are the real enchilada from Mexico city, the sauces are for real made with the authentic chiles!! If you are expecting cheap Tex-Mex food or mediocrity from a low end Mexican restaurant go to Chipotle, Taco Bell or or any other Restaurant where you can get free chips and salsa and free refills instead of quality food!! For the ones that want to try a piece of DF Mexico without going there here it is in Weston, FL. Buen Provecho y que lo disfruten!!!

I've loved so many things in my life, when I was five, I loved my slinky, when I was eight I loved my Swanson TV dinners, when I was 12 I loved my Stingray Bike from Schwinn Mack Cycle. Then there was that cathartic change, It wasn't my fifth grade agony when I first held a girls hand, it wasn't my first car, although I did love that. It was buying 15 Super Taco's at the Jack In The Box and sharing them with Dennis Wilson, Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, and Mike Love in Marina Del Rey. Yes, they were the Beach Boy's and they introduced me to quasi-crap-Mexican food. Eating a Jack in the Box Super Taco with them in the Summer of 79' proved to be a memorable one, I was hooked on the taco, by 1984, I had gone to Tijuana and indulged in their street food. Sadly Dennis Wilson drowned in December in 1983 in the same Marina that My love for the Beach Boy's and the Super Taco began and continues today, even with their losses. My Love for Taco's still brings a memory and tear to my eye. Cause even during late night drunken stupers I relied on places like Taco Bell to fill my need. I have loved many taco's, but some have not loved me back, this is a familiar theme in my life and as Valintine's Day nears, I cry out, why, why, why can't that big juicy taco love me back. Strangely enough many of you Yelpers are seeing some strange Freudian perversion comparing a taco with..............ok I won't go there, as children maybe present. But alas I was recently in Orange Beach Alabama and a Yelper directed me to Bravo Taco's. My heart went pitter patter as I entered those Alabama doors. Taco's El Pastor, my drool gene kicked in, but I walked away broken hearted, as there El Pastor, was embarrassingly flat. but, my love of the Taco, will continued. I went to see friends in Weston and I thought they were playing with me, when they said, "meet us at I Love Taco's" The cruelty of friends when you search for love, I felt as if my life was stuck meeting one blow up doll after the other, one bad taco, one dry burrito. But, I love Taco's held my hand, I felt like I was that fifth grade boy all over again. The Guacamole reached out and sang good vibrations, and the taco's El Pastor kissed me with a pineapple tongue. This was the most real El Pastor Ive had in years, Mexican street food. I Love Taco's was right, I Love Taco's or visa versa. There were things that I didn't love, I didn't love the wait staff, no I wanted a divorce from them, as they were slow, very slow, but I love Taco's, the pain, the heart break as every love has a dysfunction, luckily their taco's aren't like the rubber blow up doll's as their waitstaff is.

Nice local place for quick Mexican eats. The wet burrito is quite good. We asked for habanero sauce to spice up my husbands shrimp tacos and it was not overwhelming heat but a nice combination of flavor and kick. The margaritas are made with wine so they're not the best but they'll do. We love coming here mid week with the kids since they have a nice area for the kids to play while we enjoy a laid back meal.

I will never go back again! Received a gift of a $50 gift certificate. Our bill came to $38. Gave them the gift certificate. When I asked about change, they said they don't give change. They refused to put to the balance on another gift certificate. Asked for them to call the owner/ manager. They refused. They said that they will have her call me. Still waiting. Poor Business!!!

Party of 3 weekday june 2014 around 830p The guacamole was good the drinks were good ( margaritas)the server was courteous the food not fresh!!! The meat of the tacos seemed old and dried. Def not cooked to order at that time of the day. There was no dessert available because according to the server the cooks had closed down the kitchen and they would get mad at him if he asked for them to prepare a dessert ( interesting)..... We wonder if the owner would have said the samething to 1st time visitors. Management needs to tackle this if they want to stay in business.

Awesome food, great staff...I HATE THE DJ...it's not a club, I would love to be able to have a conversation with my guests but the 80s throwback playlist has to go. A place with food this amazing doesn't need gimmicks. I goto the ones in pines WHENEVER possible for this reason.

Fun atmosphere, tacos were fairly good. Flavor was pretty good but nothing out of this world. The service was AWFUL. I agree with the other Yelpers on this one. Took a while to take our order, which included an order of guacolmole and chips. They brought out someone else's appetizer to our table about 20 minutes later. About 10 minutes later we asked out waitress about our app and he brought it right out. Then another waiter comes to our table to and asked if we placed an order as they don't have one for us? Somehow he know what my husband had ordered? It was pretty obvious someone made a mistake but this was not the right way to go about it. The best part about this place is 2 for 1 drinks for ladies on Thursdays and the live music.

The food was tasty. However, I went with a vegetarian friend, she ordered cheese enchiladas and they charged her the same price as a regular order. When i asked about happy hour it was the same price as on the menu. They have no drink special. As soon as I was done eating they were pushing us out. I hadn't even finished my drink.

Ordered takeout a on Saturday afternoon and waited THIRTY minutes. All I ordered was 3 tacos and 1 burrito, I was told it would take 10 minutes. It wasn't crowded. There were only two new customers in store that hadn't ordered yet and only one phone order that came after mine. When the phone order (placed after mine) was ready I knew something was up. 30 minutes later I got my food, and they forgot to add lettuce and pico that I asked for. When I told the manager that it was ridiculous that I waited 30 minutes for such a small order when they were not at all busy he replies with oh yeah something must have been wrong with the kitchen, they didn't have your order for some reason, sorry. And that was it. This food was not worth the 30 minute wait or $21 tab. I should've just gone to chipotle. Long story short, you can't always count on incompetent service here. Just avoid it.

I'm sad to see so many bad reviews, I adore this place! Some of the best things to get here are the Wet Burrito (hands-down amazing) Los Sopes, and the Mexican Lasagna. Their Queso Fundido and Ignacio Nachos are also to-die-for. Sometimes they are forgetful as to add things like sauces when we do pickup, but the one time they forgot to add something for us, we called to let them know, made the drive back to pick it up, and they gave us a plate of nachos free of charge! Definitely recommend this place

I have been hearing about this place from a friend over in Lauderdale so when I heard one was opening up right here in Weston I was stoked! After much anticipation we finally made over for a late lunch about a week after opening. While not busy at lunch, understandably, you can tell they are steadily picking up new customers. The food was great and tasted really authentic, like street food in Mexico authentic! The prices are very reasonable and staff very friendly and quick! Be sure to go by and check them out soon, I'd hate to see a place like this disappear out of my neighborhood! More to come after my next visit!

Overall food is not bad but way too pricey. I know it's in Weston but two meals and 30 bucks? Not worth it. Overall place is small and was busy when we got there. No high chairs or boosters seats so don't plan on going there if you have a toddler. We had to leave bc of this and took our food to go. My husband ordered the tacos locos and I ordered the chicken flautas. Also you get a canned soda... That's right canned.... Get with it. The meal was complete with the sauces given but for the price not worth it in my opinion after our meals we were still hungry. Would I come back... Answer no.

The food was OK. No more. Drinks are terrible. The service - also OK. The place is noisy. The reason I gave this place 2 stars only is that the hosts allow their friends & other clients to stand by the tables & guests while they eat & chat with them.

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Great service. I ate the Chicken Tinga Quesadilla and my wife had the Chicken Tinga Flautas. Both dishes were delicious. We had the chips and salsa as an appetizer. The chips tasted fresh. Everything tasted fresh. The Churros we had for dessert were really good too.

    (5)
  • Mike W.

Food terrible. Service terrible. First off, the chips and guac was not fresh. It even looked terrible. Sent it back. The pork tasted too salty and like cheap chunks of pork. The waitress was busy flirting with her coworker and flipping her hair while we were waiting for more water and drinks. With these kind of priorities, we will not be returning.

Will not be returning my carnitas tacos were mediocre. No toppings just onions. Was charge $4 for chips and salsa???? What Mexican restaurants charges for chips?! Was expecting better food very disappointed.

We Love I Love Tacos!!!! Start with the Margarita, you can do no wrong, its super big and it has lots of tequila in it, it's like a double shot! Then we love to get the huge nachos, if you are used to plain old cheese nachos at other Mexican restaurants you will be amazed how different and tasty and cheesy these nachos are. My husband and I usually share a dinner after the nachos, only because the nachos are gigantic. The kids meals are just enough for kids under 11, our kids like the chicken fingers with the tortilla chips. Overall, this restaurant is very good!!! A different twist for an American who loves Mexican food, it seems like they have more authentic food than most chains. We heard on Saturday nights there is even music for entertainment. Definitely try this place, it just might be your new favorite, it is mine, for sure!!!!

I have driven by the Pembroke Pines store and read its Yelp reviews, but never had a chance to try it. When we received a flyer that a branch had opened in Weston, we decided to try it! Big Disappointment! We started with their Queso Fundido con Chorizo -"Mexican Fondue". Fondue usually conjures up warm thoughts of creamy melted cheese and something fun to dip into it. Nope! This was a greasy, gloppy, microwaved mess, with maybe a tablespoon of "sausage" sprinkled on top. The accompanying flour tortillas were also the typical incredibly hot/ microwaved/ wrapped in paper variety that you find in most chain restaurants. Typically, they were hot for two minutes and then were cold and stiff immediately thereafter. I ordered the Tacos Al Pastor. Again, another dish fresh out of the microwave. 3 small flour tortilla with some kind of flavorless gray matter (pork I think), not a hint of pineapple. Flavorless is the key word here. When the hot sauce you add is the best part of the dish, something is wrong. My Wife had the Fish Tacos. They were just OK, but by far the best dish of the evening! The cabbage and chipotle mayo were tasty. The fish was very heavily fried to the point of being dried out and crumbly. The waitstaff was very friendly. The restaurant itself was kinda cute. The bathrooms were relatively clean. I didn't have the courage to order dessert!

Just had dinner at this place...vibe is good and food is even better...i had the pastor tacos and my gf had the carne asada tacos...mine were decent considering a Mexican place in South FL...my gf's were very good...the atmosphere is casual and music is a good variety of salsa music..which again isn't exactly Mexican but it went well with the place...a bit hard to find at first but once you find the Comfort Suites you are there..would come back with a bigger appetite to try the burrito

  • Rodolfo H.

I'm not questioning the authenticity, the quality was simply by no means worth the money. The food was bland and lacking toppings that are expected, pico, tomatoes, etc. I went on a recomendation, and I surely will be recommending other establishments, like the superb Colombian next door. Friendly but amateur service. Will not be returning.

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican experience, this is not your place. If you are looking for a Mexican influenced creative, tasty menu in a festive, modern environment, you may become hooked. The salsa is good, though they seemed a little stingy with it. A much better choice than Rosa Mexicana, better prices and better taste.

    (4)
  • Keith L.

Nice! Okay, I make no claims to be an expert on authentic Mexican food. But the tacos here are far better than any other I've had in South Florida. And don't be fooled by the name - they have a full menu of great Mexican dishes. We started with the guacamole - a large platter with chunky flavorful guac. Served with a smokey chipotle salsa and a tiny wooden spoon to dish it out. Delicious. Then, tacos, of course. My wife and I shared the Pastor pork tacos and the American Favorite. Her Pastor featured ancho marinated pork with a slight flavoring of grilled pineapple. Mine had a flavorful picadillo topped with tomato, shredded lettuce and queso fresco. Awesome! You get three tacos per order with a choice of corn or flour tortilla. We splurged and ordered the churros for dessert. Three warm, fresh churros drizzled with dulce de leche. Decadently indulgent and worth every calorie. We tried the Mexican Coca-Cola. They have a full bar too. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable. What more could you ask for? Be sure to check them out and enjoy a wonderful little place serving terrific Mexican food.

I been there a few times with my husband and family, we were there yesterday around 8 o'clock the place make you feel in mexico trust me! Is just a different concept! I order the mexican lasagna and my hubby order the wet burrito the dishes were huge but the sauses and the flavors make u done the all plate! the staff were very friendly as well they know exactly the menu and how you can be so impressed with the food! We definitely gonna come back to try out something else.

Umm, nice place, went there last week for lunch and went for the fish tacos! When they arrived they were well over cooked and the batter was dark brown and the fish was far to dry and over cooked and look like they were deep fat fried (In old oil) I would think that this dish would be one of the most ordered on the menu and would have been fresh! My friends food of steak tacos were just about OK, but would have been over cooked for me. Won't be going back shame really as the place was OK.

Not impressed. I ordered some fish tacos and the fish was frozen. It looked and tasted like the frozen fish you can buy at the grocery store just to put in the microwave and eat. The quesadilla wasn't that good either. Sorry.

Went to this place for the first time last night... Wow! Can't believe we actually have good Mexican food right here in Weston Florida! Started with a Margarita and chips and salsa, loved that the chips were homemade and watch out for that salsa (super spicy- a must try if you like it hot). Portions were reasonable for the amount you pay and all the waiters were very attentive from the time we walked in. It was Friday night so they had live music which was pretty awesome, mixed it up between English and Spanish. We were too full for dessert but definitely will be going back to try. For the person who said that the queso fundido was not what they expected its because its not supposed to be a creamy cheesy delight. Its Mexico's version of fondue but definitely not what us Americans are used to, I had the same surprise at Rocco's Tacos so don't give a bad reveiw based on something you mistakenly ordered thinking it was something else. Definitely reccomend if you want authentic Mexican food, can't wait to bring others!

Will never go to this place again... You cannot charge for chips and salsa in a Mexican restaurant... It is just wrong. Food was ok....

  • Renia G.

The Ignacios Nachos are to die for. You can't just eat one. Everything I have tasted here has been delicious and also tasted fresh. The Award Winner Wet Burrito is enough to feed two. Eat half and take the rest home. The Habanero Enchiladas have a kick to them, spicy, but worth every bite. The Tampiqueña Steak was also very well seasoned. Their chicken breast was just as scrumptious. The options seem endless for a foodie like me, this is easily my new favorite Mexican in Weston. If you decide to enjoy a margarita make sure you have a designated driver, those drinks can put hair on your chest...but they taste so good.

  • Ayesha N.

I went there for dinner and first and foremost, the decor is cute with tarot cards on the wall and Mexican wrestler toys on the table. The food was tasty, we started with fresh guacamole and I ordered the suiza tacos. They were spicy and fresh. Anything with queso fresco on top is great. I will be honest with you, the prices are a but high for a Mexican restaurant ( I mean nearly $7 for a flan). The staff is nice and the menu isn't cliché but be prepared to spend more than $10 a plate

    (3)
  • Monica C.

Let me just say that I have NEVER written a negative review about any restaurant, until today... This place was such a disappointment. The service was terrible and the food was overpriced. The weight staff pretty much ignored us the entire time, they only approached us when bringing us out food and didn't even make eye contact. The queso fundido was extra salty and did not even come with chips. The tacos and quesadilla that we ordered arrived soggy and barely made it to our mouths before falling apart. Overall a bad experience.

Food amazing. Kinda expensive for what you get and more $$$ than typical Mexican places. But amazing!!! Service... Not so great.

    (4)
  • Billy F.

don't know where the great reviews were from....they charge for chips and salsa, something that should be free, the guacamole was tasteless, and the fish and shrimp tacos were just fried things in a soft taco, everything was tasteless and expensive for what they gave you, don't waste your time and, it looks like they are kid friendly which means everyone will bring their kids and let them run wild in the place, terrible idea. restaurants should be NO KIDS, most parents refuse to control their kids and for some reason don't hear them when they are sitting right next to them screaming!

This is the second time I come in and I ordered the same dish, Shrimp Enchilada Habanero which is delicious, last time the Margarita was so-so and I went with a safer beer this time.

This is our favorite Mexican Restaurant! Authentic food. Generous portions and great friendly service. We love the chicken tinga tostada. And the coconut flan is amazing. We first heard about them through their $5 off coupon and now we are a regular.

Honestly, this place is good awful. We ordered margaritas, the drinks were the most disgusting margarita I have ever had. They were made with rubbing tequila. I wanted to vomit. My gf ordered fish tacos, she took one bite and looked inside and the fish was completely raw! We immediately called the waiter/manager and she apologized saying they didnt want to "overcook" them and that's why they were raw. Fish tacos have to be the easiest thing ever to make. I ordered steak quesadilla and it tasted like it came out of a microwave. The manager didnt even comp any of our food after serving us raw fish. Just a terrible place. Honest to god go to Chipotle and you will get high quality food at a cheaper price.

was a bit hesitant because I had heard it was pricey and that they don't have salsa (at least not what most people think of for chips and salsa). I was pleasantly surprised. Although I would like to see a more traditional salsa come with their chips and salsa, I didn't mind the heat in the sauces that come with it and the fillings were quite good. The tacos didn't specify soft tacos and they were the regular white flour soft taco shells which is not what I would have expected in a supposedly more traditional restaurant. I would like to see the tacos come with the grilled corn tortillas. I would say 5 stars if they add real salsa (especially a mild chunky tomato salsa for the gringos) and if they make the grilled corn tortilla taco shells at least as an option to the flour.

Love this place - very authentic Mexican food (tried the sopes and the carnitas tacos). The service is excellent and the staff very friendly.

My husband and I love this place. We have tried both the Pines location and this one in Weston. Both have excellent food and service, and this location is so cute and fun. A laid back, authentic atmosphere. We lived in TX for 3 years where we were spoiled with wonderful Mexican food. After eating at I love Tacos...I find it hard having Mexican anywhere else. I have tried the wet burrito, quesadilla, and tostadas. Everything is fresh, delicious, and has authentic flavor. Don't be turned off by the hidden location...it's a great place!

The worst smell, worst food, not fresh at all! Actually disgusting. This place will never last. Took 30 minutes and there was nothing even on the tacos. This is not at all Mexican . Don't waste your time or money!

this place is awesome. I work right close by and always stop by for lunch. The chips and salsa are terrific and the places taste great with pretty good size portions. I strongly encourage this place

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
