Husband & I are new to Weston and decided to try them out on a Date Night before bringing our kids. Menu did not impress either of us. Food was average and service was pretty consistent. Mariachi band made the atmosphere lively. They also have outdoor seating we learned later. I didn't see anything kid friendly & felt they were a bit pricey.

New owners :(. So bad don't seem to know how to make Mexican food. New limited menu and you can make no changes to your order. Have a lunch and dinner menu with same exact items, no larger in size, but charge $5 more for dinner. Would not recommend and owner seems greedy.

Seriously?! Is this place joking? More like "El Mal-Triachi" The overpriced fajitas with little or no meat; the margaritas with no tequila. They might as well have been virginritas.... From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, the service was mediocre. No bus boy...no refills... bad lettuce. You ask for something, it takes them too long. Tables too small (and dirty!) and they seemed to be understaffed. I wonder why?!?!? The bill comes and they try to pull a fast one on you.... Definitely recommend La Bamba instead, hell maybe even Taco Bell!!

Say Si Si!! they have a really annoying commercial. either way I've been here and the food isn't special. Its a pretty average canned-mexican-food fare that can be easily mimicked at home with a boxed taco bell kit. The fajitas tasted worse than what i'd get at chili's or friday's. The margaritas aren't bad..but they were too expensive for a margarita with 'curevo' bottom-barrel type of tequila. it's kind of a let down...

This place used to be our go to Mexican place. However, new owners and the most of the menu and Mexican food seems to have disappeared. My daughter also did not like her tacos, she said it tasted different. Looks like we won't be going back.

Check out their happy hour 2-for-1s! The food is really good, and you can even experience authentic Spanish cuisine. The service is sometimes dicey, but they make up for it with the margaritas.

It is OK, just OK.. A decent meal. 1/2 the menu is Cuban and the other 1/2 Americanized Mexican. Service was nice The place is clean.

Well, this place gives Mexican food a bad name. Waitresses don't even know what they are trying yo sell you. And yes, everything comes with that yellow rice that mexicans don't even know and those refried beans. I will recommend it if you are desperate to have a margarita, and there's better places for that.

Lunch specials are good values plus 2 for 1 margaritas.

The food is nothing to write home about. I thought it was just okay and overpriced. The waiter was super nice but overcharged us by about $30 because he charged us for the premium margaritas when we asked for the regular. Whatever we had wasn't worth either price. The location and atmosphere is great and it was pretty kid friendly except everything on the menu was fried. Oh, and we had to pay $2.79 for the milk when a soda was included with the kids meal.

Ok food and good service. The outside patio sits on a lake and is nicely shaded. They seem very kid friendly.

I love this place! The service is great, the outdoor patio is really relaxing at night and the food is excellent. Maybe for some picky people it's not 'authentic' Mexican, but for a good meal at a reasonable price it's perfect. This is definitely a fun place and worth a visit!

The food is average Mexican cuisine but the service is IMPECCABLE! My husband and I frequent this restaurant because it is easy to get in even at 7pm on a Saturday night, they have large screen TVs to watch the game and the margaritas are awesome. We now know our server by name and we are treated as if we are celebrities. The management of this restaurant is fantastic and the service is wonderful.

If you like over-priced, over-salted, extra greasy and gamey tasting meat, then this is the place for you. I moved to Weston last year and was really craving authentic Mexican food and convinced my husband to try this place with me. I could not eat my food, at all.....I tried about 3 bites of it, and just couldn't bring myself to eat any more. My husband will eat pretty much everything and he even agreed with me that the food was pretty awful. Taco Bell would have been a better choice. There is no good Mexican food I have found in Weston or even west Broward for that matter. The only place to go is Toro Taco down in Homestead and it's so worth the drive.

uh can you say run of the mill boring mexican food? This is "Mexican food" for those that haven't the slightest idea what that means...the same ol yellow rice and that bean mush accompanies practically every plate. Watch out you crazy people with that salsa(as spicy as a boiled potato!). Really? Really? someone actually gave this place 5 stars!!???!! This place is as "excellent" as eating at Taco Bell in Mexico City!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
