Diabetics at Village Inn

Village Inn is a tough place for diabetics, and you must be extra cautious while ordering food at the Village Inn, especially if you're a diabetic. The food items low in sodium are high in sugar or cholesterol at Village Inn which makes it difficult for diabetics to choose the right food at the diner.

This is me and my wifes second time. We like the Wednesday pie day. Food was great. We came at a time it was not so busy but after we were there for 15 minutes it got busy. Seating time is always good. Remember Wednesday is always free pie day. They also have Friday fish day.

I rarely update a review - I like to let them stand. However, every now-and-then I have an experience that compels me to update my previous rating. In this case, I am very happy to update the review. Recently, this place has remodeled in a very chic-70s style. The furniture, the lighting, the general amenities, everything has been updated beautifully. To add to that, the wait staff has upgraded considerably. Tonight's waitress was simply delightful and chatty (I like it when they can gab) - she kept my drink, my wife's drink, and my son's as endless glasses. She really did a superb job. The food as well is great. A menu that has been updated with options and choices for everyone. And of course, last-but-not-least - their pies. They continue to be the best for miles around. Good job Village Inn - the best kept secret in Titusville.

They've renovated the space and it's really nice. The service / food has also gone up a notch and I would highly suggest trying out their delicious pancakes. :)

I mean, it's the BEST PIE IN AMERICA! Particularly Chocolate Caramel Delight and Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme! They make a great burger, terrific Grown Up Grilled Cheese, and yummy Chicken-Fried Chicken. You can't go wrong at Village Inn!

We went there last night 7/23/14 around 6:30 for free pie Wednesday and the place was a little busy but not that bad, as usual they tried seating us in the back but there was a booth up front and we got to sit up there by the window. Our waitress was "O" and she asked us what we wanted to drink I ordered coffee and my wife ordered a Coke when the coffee was brought out to me it was almost spilled on me and it had a ring around the bottom of the coffee pot so it was not very clean. We then ordered our food I got the turkey plate and my wife got the fish with broccoli. Our food was brought to us pretty quickly which was good but my wife got rice instead of broccoli and she asked for the broccoli which "O' said she would bring, well that was the last time we saw "O" all night never came back to the table to ask if we needed a drink refill or extra napkins,we did get the broccoli at the end of the meal finally. My wife also had a salad and the ranch dressing was all over the container again not very clean at all. We did get our pies and at that point we were just ready to go so we got the pies to go we ordered peach pies but on the top of the bag was remains of cherry again very unclean. I went to the front to pay the bill and we told the manager about the horrible service and she said that the entire meal was on them. I wanted to pay at least 1/2 because I know that probably came out of "O's" check but I was told no. Lesson from this dont go on Free Pie Wednesday and if you get "O" request another server

My food has always been really good here! This is where I go for breakfast hands down. Service could be better. The service is high strung and can't handle when the restaurant is busy. Other than that. It's pretty good!

Although the entire decorum is horribly outdated and floors could use replaced, lovely, quaint, high quality "DINER" food. Loved the staff, very friendly and more than willing to go the extra mile. Loved my sandwich, the Turkey Avocado....fabulous, great sweet raspberry tea....actually very happy. FREE PIE WEDNESDAY and our waitress so graciously packed our pie "to go" (stuffed from the sandwich). Little high on the price, but was not the least bit disappointed, so it was money well spent. Absolutely recommend.

I love this place! They have the best Double Decker Club Sandwich anywhere. It has real turkey, ham, bacon, cheese, tomato, and the perfect amount of lettuce and mayo on perfectly toasted bread! Mine have tasted like they have let me go into the kitchen and make it for myself! That good!!! It comes with fries, but I substitute crispy hash browns and it makes my meal complete. They have other great stuff on the menu too, but this sandwich is my personal favorite. My husband likes the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and the Chicken Philly. I also like to go in and have breakfast anytime of the day! Breakfast is always good!!! Oh, and let me also mention the pie!!! Oh My Goodness! You have to try the pie. It doesn't matter which kind you try you will not be disappointed. They have free pie on Wednesday, but that is limited to certain pie. You will have to clarify with your server on that. Ann is our favorite server. She is the best! She stays on the go and keeps her tables happy. She is friendly and easy going and will do what she can to make your dining experience pleasant! Pam, the host is super too. Very friendly and nice. Always greeting you at the door with a smile. I highly recommend you at least go in and have a cup of coffee and a slice of pie. I think you will like it...

Solid breakfast place for the area nothing over the top but this chain has been around for decades so I guess they do a lot things right. One reason we stop here is it predictable. We've eaten at several of these restaurants in different locations and they always have a large breakfast crowd but they are usually large enough that the wait is never long the service was good and the restaurant was very clean, the food was prompt and the coffee was good I would recommend this place and will return.

This place is a good chain place and a relative of Baker's Square. Same delicious breakfast food and same delicious pie. The service here is great, too; a lovely taste of Florida hospitality. I recommend this place if you're looking for some good brinner in Titusville.

First off, let me start by saying we went on a Wednesday which was free pie day: it was our first time. The place was pretty busy, we waited about 10 minutes for a table. Not bad. When our server came over to take our orders, my husband ordered first: chicken fried STEAK, I then ordered chicken fried chicken, we each ordered different sides, and a salad. My husband got his salad first, then our meals came quite a bit later. He cut open his steak to find out it was chicken. Not wanting to wait any longer, he just ate the chicken. I had to flag down the waitress and ask for my salad. The food was good. I mean really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I ate every single bite on my plate. That's probably because the portions were very small. Our pieces of chicken were probably about 4-5 ounces. And each of the 2 sides 1/4 -1/3 a cup. The server stops by to tell us, "save room for a free piece of pie," and drop off the check. Never once asking if we'd like anything else. That was the last we saw of her. Then the waiting began. 20 minutes later, after a busboy had already cleared our dishes, the hostess finally came over (after we got her attention) and to take our pie order. We get them to go, pay and leave. Still no sign of our waitress. The pies were pretty good, but I wish someone had told us the cold pies were only a dollar, because we would have liked to try those. To sum it up the food was good, the portions were small, and the customer service was pretty much non existent.

Although the decor is a little "meh," the quality of the food and service is better than you'd think. Free slice of pie every Wednesday brings this up from 3 to 4 stars.

Free pie Wednesdays and Friday is all you can eat fish. We went for the all you can eat fish. The fish platter came out with smoking hot fish, coleslaw and choice of either onion rings or fries plus cheese toast. Service was fast and friendly. Fish was hot and fresh but for some reason it was salty. Thought the price was quite high for this type of meal. Convenient location on highway 1 in Titusville. Stop by because the pie is to die for. When we've had breakfast here, liked the variety you can get a breakfast with 2 to 4 items for a small price.

There are better places in Titusville to get a good bite to eat. The last two times I ate here, the food was of poor quality. The last thing I ate was a chicken caesar salad, and it made me feel ill. Honestly, if you're trekking on US1, look elsewhere.
