We were really hungry and my boyfriend loves this place so we stopped to have breakfast. I had the chocalate chip waffle which was really good. The place is really small but a pretty good breakfast spot.

My wife and I really love this place. The waffles are great, but the number one thing we enjoy is their hashbrowns "all the way". It's hashbrowns with a bunch of toppings like mushrooms, cheese, jalapenos, and sausage gravy. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast once we were seated.

Well this is just a typical late-night, cheap, greasy, kind of ghetto food. But we all knew that coming in. The staff at this location is SUPER nice. They were so awesome. The chef made us a fresh batch of the sausage gravy. The place was a little sketch and honestly I was kind of nervous, but we made it out alright. The food is just typical late night breakfast food. I ordered the hashbrowns with chili, cheese, and onions. I also got a chocolate chip waffle. Can't go to waffle house without getting a waffle. The hashbrowns were delicious. Freshly prepared and had that nice crunch that I personally love. The chili had quite a bit of meat to it, which was awesome. The waffle was just well, a waffle. Nothing too special about it. A good place to go for a quick bite after a night of partying or whatever. Probably will stumble into this place again very very soon.

I always wanted to try the food at a Waffle House because diners have more flavorful breakfasts. I was really surprised at their menu. The service was nice and friendly and the food was "REALLY" good. Good prices too and they have a dollar menu...Whaaaaat!!! I ordered the egg and bacon biscuit with the chocolate chip waffles. Whaaaat, those waffles were nice and soft and that breakfast biscuit made my taste buds excited. The coffee could have been hotter. The place was busy and somewhat maintained. **Note: Bring a date that's down to get their grub-on with no shame!!!!

Coming here is what I imagine transporting to an isolated cultural zone on another planet would be. From the camouflage Waffle House hat on the waiter, the incredibly strong southern accents, and the country music blasting over the speaker complete with "Yee Haw!" yells at appropriate points in the songs, I felt like I had left my home behind and transported to another galaxy. I checked outside to ensure my car was still there so I could escape quickly if necessary. Luckily the aliens inside were not aggressive. In fact, they happily served me sweet tea (is there any other kind?) and a tasty breakfast. I should get a Yelp badge for this.

Great breakfast for little money. We ordered regular($3.30) and pecan($3.80) waffles, both terrific. Even the coffee is good, according to me better than McD's coffee. They also have "dollar menu" side items, which cost between $1 and $5 each, including biscuits with gravy and such, as well as breakfast platters. The staff here is attentive, very friendly and upbeat, we really liked them too. Great job!

Just plain dirty and greasy. Just what the end of our day called for! Nothing too spectacular about the food here, but late at night, it proved to be a good decision. I had a nice little Angus burger and a side of chili (damn good chili, I might add) and then topped it off with a waffle. Yes, a waffle. Of all the times I had been to Waffle House, I've had a damn waffle. Can you believe that crap? Well, I'm glad I finally got a waffle because it was deeeeee-licious. We were sitting close to the waffle irons, and the smell won me over; I just had to order one, even after downing a burger and chili. Don't judge me!

Wow!... i use to work at this Waffle House from 1976 to 1982, i'm so surprised at what all these reviews are saying. We were always so clean..all three shifts, and our cooks did not put out anything greasy or cold!!. We were always rated #1 in our district...Thank You Mr.Grant! (District Manager) Maybe they should have Dan Bancs as the cook and Kami Robinson, Darlene Carr and Judy Nipper-Carr as the waitresses again! lol

I've been eating at Waffle house since I was a kid. Currently back in Tpa visiting and had to stop in for a bite. The employees are real laxed and friendly. I had delicious foods including a hot bowl of grits w/ butter. :)

Waffle House is one of my favorite stops for breakfast, served 24-7!! On my travels, I've stopped at many Waffle Houses located near highway exits, which is very popular with the truckers and offers good honest delicious food at very reasonable prices. The Chopped Steak Dinner ($6.99) served with a garden salad, hash browns & Texas toast is pretty darn good! However this Waffle House location seems more like a neighborhood diner, lacking the parking accommodations for big rigs here. There are laminated menu placemats at each seat. Recently, I had a delicious breakfast and quick and friendly service with many refills offered on fresh hot coffee. The coffee beans are freshly ground and brewed. I had the tasty Bacon Egg & Cheese Wrap Combo ($3.99) served with hash browns & hot coffee and Buttermilk Waffles ($2.85 each). The Buttermilk Waffles spread with lots of butter and syrup are some of the best tasting waffles I've ever had!! It only takes 3 minutes under the iron to create such great waffles!!

It's 6am, I'm drunk. Where does my local Tampa friend take me? Waffle House. YUM. The waffle was delicious! That all I could really stomach, her on the other hand had 3 damn plates of a lot of food. A LOT. The waitresses were really nice and appreciated the fact that we were fun drunks. They cracked jokes with us, and were really friendly. It's not a 5 restaurant people, it's a little diner. If you want superb food & service, go to a fancy expensive restaurant. I visited Waffle House twice on my 4 day vacation and it did my tummy right!

This has to be the dirtiest restaurant that I have eaten at. But, it's Waffle House. What else do you expect? The food here is eh, ok at best. But it's Waffle House.

great location right off the highway. always hot coffee, and crispy waffles plus the staff was friendly and this is what you want when you're hungry. I ate here several times over the winter and always got a good portion and had no complaints. Just plain good food, and great prices - everywhere you see that big yellow sign.

If you like to have ants crawling all over your table while you try to eat breakfast, this is the place for you. My waffle was ok, just like a normal waffle, nothing great. The fake chocolate milk they have is quite a disappointment as well. I would avoid this one.

Pretty bad even by Waffle House standards. Food was passable but the inside was messy and dirty. There's either no management, or they just don't care. Staff was friendly though, just sloppy. 3 employees on, with 3 tables, plenty of time to clean up.

I have only ever had Waffle House in Florida and I have to keep the tradition alive. The Grilled Texas Bacon Egg & Cheese Melt plate hit the spot. I never thought I would think this but there was too much bacon, I got hash browns on the side which were perfectly fried and suprisingly not greasy. I washed it down with a refreshing glass of OJ. Waffle House once every few years really is a wonderful thing.
