This place has become a weekly routine for myself and my office - now that I've spread the word. Delivery on $15 or more, but it's worth the short drive. Great location. Food is awesome. I love the "Angry Cuban" and the Plantains. A previous review on another website and the OWNER RESPONDED. Very classy, and I've always had great service. Food is always hot and fresh, though it can take a few minutes to prepare something with quality.

Outstanding Cuban sandwich and croquetas. Very personable staff. The only thing I would change is that the bread was a little firm from pressing. Actually cut the roof of my mouth.

Location is new but food is the same as the prior address. Getting a lot more business now.

Delicious Cuban sandwiches - the best in Tampa! Plenty of parking off of Kennedy Boulevard and also around the back. Bright, airy new dining area. Super clean. Lots of sides including beans and rice as well as Spanish Bean Soup. Local artwork on the walls.

I was really excited to try this as they deliver to my work and I love me some Cuban toast and Cafe Con Leche. Well I ordered at 10:30 am and received a call at 11:30 am from the driver realizing they (or the restaurant) had gotten my delivery address wrong. Totally understandable... accidents happen... not to mention my billing address is very similar to my delivery address (think 2500 N Main St. vs 2300 S Main St. ) but the mistake meant that they were 20 minutes away from me. After thinking about it I called the restaurant to just cancel my order because there was no way the food was still going to be hot by the time it got to me and it had already been so long. The manager or whoever was put on the phone did absolutely nothing to try to rectify the situation for me nor did they apologize at all. She actually sounded quite rude and put off by me. Literally all she did was grunt and say "Ok I'll tell the delivery driver". I did absolutely nothing wrong except try to order a $20 breakfast (+$4 tip) - I gave them all the correct information and they messed up. The appropriate way to approach the situation would have been for her to offer me a small credit to encourage me to try again a different morning. Or at the very least a sincere apology. Had I gotten even that I would never have written this. Customer service is vital especially when you're dealing with busy people at work just trying to get their breakfast. I wanted to love this place and would have encouraged others to order with me and I am disappointed I can no longer do so.

The greatest Cuban on the planet?? Not sure which planet they're referring to but this place would not even be the greatest Cuban in the vending machine for me. Minuscule amount of low quality sliced pork, one piece of salami, cheap boiled ham and a slice of Swiss cheese that covered about a 30% strip down the center of the bread. So bad that I took a picture of it, complete joke. I have lived here my whole life and eaten Cuban sandwiches all over Tampa. I can tell you with great certainty that this place does not even come close to the greatest Cuban on the planet. How can you look at the product that you're putting out and not realize how sub par you are when you've got so many examples all around you. The Cuban sandwich is to Tampa what poutine is to Canada. If you're going to sell the city's most famous sandwich then do some research for god's sake.

I don't eat Cuban sandwiches very often so I am not an expert, but this was a great sandwich! Bread was perfect and generous portions of meat and fixings. I do consider myself to be a french fry expert and theirs are some of the best I've ever had. The staff was friendly. I will certainly go back soon and try some other menu items.

Great sandwiches and great service every time I've been! All the sandwiches look good, but you can't go wrong sticking to the Cuban. If you get the fries make sure to get the spicy dipping sauce!

Very tasty cuban with "authentic" bread from la Segunda bakery (delicious!) and a great press. The combo is well priced... I recommend the Floridian Bean Soup for your side. Nice big chunks of chorizo and pork. Knocking off one star because they don't put much pork on the sandwich. The taste is great but come on! Load it up a little!

Rude staff. No highchairs. Obviously not family friendly. Probably best for the business crowd during the workweek. Also would be great to extend breakfast hours.

The 2 stars are only because this is one of the better Cubans I have had in Tampa. The service is why there aren't more... Now I came into the Floridian on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 pm, in my eyes probably one of the busier times during the weekend. I was surprised to see one guy running the entire show. He was taking orders, making sandwiches, dropping fries, answering the phone with a restaurant that was pretty busy. We weren't addressed upon entry simply because he was so busy. No big deal. 5 minutes pass, he is making to go orders, answering the phone and pressing sandwiches all while my coworker and I stood there waiting to order. Two to-go orders came in for pick-up and were handled before us. Also no big deal, hot food is a priority in restaurants and its important to get it out fast. 5 more minutes pass and by now there is a line of 5 people behind us. Phone rings, it's a manager or owner who decides to engage his worker in a 7 min conversation about what sales were at for the day ($546) and a conversation about how the new guy is working out. (Wish new guy had been there to help). Phone call ends and the guy finally comes over and asks "you ready to order yet?" As if he had been waiting for us. I order 10inch Cuban, pay and take a seat at the bar while he helps the rest of the customers. 5 mins later he starts making my sandwich!! Exciting moment. After about a 20 min TO-GO ordeal I get back to the office to learn I was given a 7 inch sandwich instead. Awesome. Waste of my money and lunch break. Too many good Cubans on Kennedy to be back here for a while... P.S. pretty sure having employees handle money and credit cards then handling food without washing hands first is a health code violation...........
