It's open. Another option in ybor with lots of TV's and great beer selection. Just had drinks, not sure about food yet.

Although I'm a bit bummed that chains have slowly started to pop up along 7th Ave, I have to admit I had a super fun time at trivia last night. The trivia host was super cool and laid back, which always makes trivia more fun as opposed to some super strict or ornery hosts which is sometimes the case at other places. Our server was great and the beers were delicious. The reason for four stars is because of the price... I understand craft beer is more expensive but after about 2 1/2 hours our tab was $85 for three of us... I'll be back, but with those prices, prob not very son...

I love the way they have an open area where you can people watch and have a great craft beer and the food is actually good. The staff knows about the beer the offer on tap and offered to mix a Lemon Shandy with champagne for me....Yummy! Great place to watch sports. I loved the pizza.

The food is good. The beer is great. But the staff was outstanding. Our server was quite knowledgeable about each of the beers, which was quite useful.

Meh. We found The Brass Tap to be pretty underwhelming. Our drinks were fine and arrived in a normal time frame but the food did not. We had 4 in our party and one person got their meal served 15 minutes prior to the rest of the table. It was also served as an appetizer when it was clear it had been ordered as dinner. Extra plates for the table while you wait for everyone else's food? Cold nachos with no cheese? Small pizzas we were told 5 more minutes for and waited at least 15? Um, no thanks.

This place is awesome and it's exactly what Ybor needed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I've been there numerous times and I always get the prime rib nachos or the prime rib sandwich. Recently I went there for brunch this past Sunday and it was fantastic, along with the live entertainment. I like this location because of the atmosphere and chill vibe with an amazing variety of craft local beers. If you don't drink beer... Don't sweat it!! They have liquor!!!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Place wasn't too crowded. Enjoyed the live music and a wide variety of beers on tap. Our server was very nice and recommended some food but we weren't hungry at the time. I had a glass of pino gregio and my husband tried a mead. We will definitely try this place again and eat next time!

This place closed a little earlier than I'd like, but I had a really good experience here... The bartender was very attentive and they have a huge selection of beer. You can get a flight of any any assortment of beer which is really cool. I also had a margarita which was really good. It's usually hit or miss with margaritas, but the bartender clearly knew what he was doing... Next time I will definitely come back earlier to enjoy more of the experience and their delicious beers. For the small amount of time I was here, I was impressed.

If you're going to call prime rib nachos, prime rib nachos, maybe actually having prime rib in the nachos might be a good idea. And actually applying heat to the food might be good too so the cheese is melted. Making people wait half an hour to be disappointed by shitty nachos is a bad idea too. Chips are really cheap too.

Definitely an improvement to this space in Centro Ybor. It is super nice and clean. I love the look and the wall of taps. The food menu is delicious. My only minor issue is the pretzel crust pizza. I say minor because the pizza was delicious, i just would never had known it was on a pretzel crust so I was slightly disappointed it tasted like regular crust. Great people watching place and right by the parking garage top.

Great location. It was one of our stops with the Florida bike tour. Staff was friendly. They had a great selection of beers to choose from. Will definitely go back.

I really like this place, and that says something because I didn't want to because it is a chain. Being an Ybor resident, I was worried it wouldn't fit in. I am glad to say, I was wrong -- great addition to Ybor. The great: - The tap list. 64 on draft, 18 local, and the hit all the styles. A lot of thought went into the list. No roster fillers on this list, and they have rare finds like Dogfish Head Chocolate Lobster. - The bottle list: Don't have a number, but I bet it is over 200. Wide selection. It looks like the use their buying power (parent company is Beef O'Brady's) to curate a wide selection rather than just drive down costs. The good: - Staff knowledge and enthusiasm: first rate. I love talking to their bartenders. I love how they take care of their servers. - The owner: Met him personally and he is involved and not afraid to roll up his sleeves and pitch in. This place -will- go forth with him at the helm. The could be improved, but ultimately not bad: - The food: Definitely not bad, but with JJ and TBBC around the corner, if I am going to eat will go elsewhere. Their flatbreads are solid and their brunch offering is amazing. But compared to the other two, not as fresh or as special as the others. - Atmosphere: Not bad, but the live music everyday may not be needed. This location is not as big as the others. It can be distracting if you just want to hang. - Outdoor area: Like most Yborians, my wife and I have dogs. When we go out, they are often with us. They have an outdoor seating area, but it is more second-string than are starter. Overall: Excellent addition to Ybor. Will definitely be included in the day drink rotation.

Came in with a group of friends for Bingo night, lots of great choices on tap and bingo, how could you go wrong? It was the first night for Bingo and it was fun. There were a few glitches throughout the night, but it was fun. Service was slow, maybe more than 1 waitress might help! It was also very warm inside, none of the fans were on and it is an open space. We did enjoy the buffalo chicken dip. Beers on tap offered a variety of choices to satisfy everyone's taste buds. There was even a Beer Bingo card to mark off as you drank the beers on the card. This location is convenient and has several TVs. Makes it nice to catch a game and try a new brew. It's a very nice addition to Centro Ybor.

The Brass Tap is where I go when I'm waiting on something or want to catch up with a friend. It's not a place I've ever found myself staying at for an extended amount of time, but I do go often. I definitely appreciate the concept of a plethora of rotating taps of good craft brews. There's always something new for me to try and I infinitely prefer it over World of (the same) Beer. Yes you can watch sports, sometimes they even have live music but it's on the more quiet side (unless there's a sporting event). The ambiance is kinda plain...nothing too exciting going on but you're there for the beer anyway. I love exploring new styles and versions of beer and they have so many types to try, it's worth the visit :). Service is a bit slow in my opinion, unless you're sitting at the bar which is what I prefer. The servers have always been really nice and pretty knowledgable on the beer. Last time I went they gave me a bunch of free mini beer glasses.

I like the Brass Tap franchises. This is a brand new location right in the heart of Ybor, in fact, Centro Ybor. Since the bar is fairly new, it isn't too crowded. The vibe here is chill and low-key, but as we all know, this is Ybor and that can change at any moment. As all their other locations, Brass Tap has a huge selection of beer. HUGE = 70 beers on tap and 300 craft beers from all over the world. For those who are serious about their beer, you can join the "Brew Crew" for $15. You receive one point for drinking one of each of the 300 different craft beers offered and you can win rewards at specific point levels. They do serve food at this location, albeit, it isn't gourmet food. For those coming in here looking for a gourmet meal...remember, this is bar food people. I ordered the Meat Lovers Pretzel Pizza and it was ok. The pretzel crust weirded me out a little, but then again, I normally don't eat the crust off most pizza. My friend had the Ham-N-Cheese Panini and enjoyed it, even though it was more ham than cheese. I had the opportunity to meet the franchise owner, Dwayne, when I attended the TKE TBAA Happy Hour. He was a pleasure to talk to and beamed with such excitement as he spoke about the business. I have also had great service both times I have been here, both Monica and Molly were very friendly and attentive. Another reason I love this place is that there are a ton of televisions to watch sports. Watching March Madness and the Tampa Bay Lightning to my heart's content makes Anna very happy. If you are a beer aficionado, this is the bar for you.

This place does not belong in ybor. The staff is slow and it takes forever to get a drink. Have tried them out a few times and have been disappointed each time.

I've been there a few times and have never been disappointed. Awesome beer selection and very knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend if you're in Ybor that you check out this place.

Their food menu is small and the number of good food items on the menu is even smaller. The steak sandwich is very good. On my second visit they were out of steak! Everything else that we ordered off the menu was crap. This bar is lame.
