This is a true hidden gem not just because of the food but it's location, it's tucked away behind the Sheriff's Office on Falkenburg Road. It's overall a small restaurant, most people do take out but there are enough tables to dine in. If ordering to go I will call ahead. Now to the food, where do I start. They have a breakfast menu from sandwiches to omelets, grits and toasts you can choose your meat, cheese and half or full sandwich. For lunch they also have sandwiches, tapas, soups, salads, plates and daily specials. I had their mojo chicken special with yellow rice and sweet plantains. I was expecting a little bit of chicken with the rice and plantains but it was actually a thigh and a drumstick in a juicy garlic sauce... just delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are good. I'm glad I finally decided to try it and iIm looking forward to going back soon.

Ordered the Cuban sandwich and there was barely any sliced pork on it, expensive for the size of sandwich and lack of meat. Will never be visiting this place again. And it is in the same office park where I work. Chintzy meat is never a treat.

Good food but very slow service If you're in a hurry I recommend ordering to go vs. dining in. I went for lunch today had to wait several minutes before I was greeted. I grabbed my own menu. Then I had to wait several more minutes before placing my order. I order a BLT and it came out minus the B. I had to wait several minutes to flag down the server to alert her. Then I had to wait a long time to get my check and pay. I ended up getting back to work late. The server was friendly but overwhelmed. I think they are understaffed. This was not my first visit, but my first dining in, in a long time. I've called in breakfast to-go orders in the past and even with the advanced notice of calling ahead still had to wait a long time at the counter.

Really nice people, really average food, really average decor and atmosphere...and by the way, the 'Tapas' name is pretty deceiving; I would definitely say it's more Cuban and/or Puerto Rican. It's a decent stand by if you're in the area, but no need to go out of your way for this place.

I found this place after reading Yelp reviews and glad I did. Located back off Falkenburg behind the county sheriff complex. I always did takeout and call ahead is worth it because it gets busy. And they have great memory of your name. Food is great but Cuban was not my fav. Opted for their daily specials most often. Ground beef and pork asado was real good. Ropa Vieja was okay but I'd not likely get it again.

Food is always great! Love their Cubans, tostones with garlic sauce, empanadas, and their cafe con leche is one of the best! Prices can't be beat!

Good for weekday lunch. Service speed can be spotty, quick some days and very slow on others. Food quality is very consistent.
