This location sucks! They couldn't break a $100 bill and refused my transaction because I didn't have have a debit card or credit card for my transaction. Who wants to charge a $7 transaction on a credit card! I've never been to an establishment that refused cash because "I don't have access to my twenties, so I can't provide change" I will not be revisiting, I'm sure if I offered a large tip there wouldn't have been an issue with me using a big bill.

I visit this Starbucks often. Too often. It's a problem, actually. But I digress. Nine times out of ten I'm happy with my drink but I do agree with what someone else said about getting a different result depending on who's working. Some don't understand that cream and sugar does not mean the coffee should be pure white. For this reason, I've started ordering "light cream" to be safe. The parking situation is horrendous and very poorly planned considering the location but it usually doesn't take more than a few minutes for a spot to open up (which, by the way, is always the fastest way to go as the drive thru is always backed up). The employees do a great job of getting people in and out which is very necessary given the terrible design of the place. I keep coming back again and again so no complaints here.

THIS STARBUCKS IS THE WORST. Employees are lazy as hell, zero enthusiasm, and frankly lacking knowledge. I ordered my usual that I get all the time from another Starbucks location but they somehow cannot make it here.

I would stop by this location more often but the parking lot design makes it frustrating. The drive thru line blocks the parking lot. The entrances are poorly designed where cars block each other in both directions. If the flow was improved they would probably ove a lot more cars through. My other issue with this location is the consistancy of the drinks. I usually get a vanilla latte and I often wonder if I got the wrong drink.

Wow... I'm so disappointed in this particular Starbucks! They took my order only to forget about it, and the girl who took my order just kept staring at me while she was standing at the register doing nothing. Ugh... You took my order... Dont u think there was a problem if u stood there staring at me for a coo minute?! Anyway, 15 mins later I had to speak up because two people who ordered after me got their drinks. Also after reminding them, I had to repeat my drinks 3 times for her to make it. One of my order was a carmel frap and usually when you order with whip they automatically add the Carmel drizzle on top and she forgot to add my carmel drizzle... That's like one of the best things about about the carmel frap. I had to ask her to put my Carmel drizzle on the top. I'm from Cali and a huge starbucks fan but this Starbucks needs to up their game, where I am from. Nope, its not going to fly.

The parking sucks, there were 5 baristas present but still couldn't get the line moving. Ordered a triple espresso with white mocha instead Gave me 6 espresso shots. Good thing I tasted it before leaving I would've died lol

I been here a few times in the past ordering coffee and sandwiches when I am in the area. Always busy here during the mid lunch/afternoon drive times during the drive thru and at times inside as well. Keep in mind parking places are hide to find so people do tend to park over at Mcdonalds to walk over to Starbucks. I like the Vinte Mochafrappachino and my mother likes the White Chocolate Mocha hot. I wish they still had the Turkey & Swiss sandwich but they quit carrying it awhile back don't know why it was delicious! If you decide to come to this location try come early cause this location for Starbucks really does get busy in the parking lot/drive thru causing it and some what inside as well.

Extremely disappointed every time I go to this Starbucks. Because of its prime location it always busy, but the drive thru is terrible. Monotone, unfriendly service and my coffee rarely is enjoyable. I have a simple request, yet depending on who's working... It's always different.

Huge shout out to Batista TOM left my wallet at home, & thru didn't have tap & pay here for me to pay with my phone. So his kindness and generous heart bought me lunch. There's still kindness in the world. I feel so grateful and inspired now.

I sometimes tutor here.. while I don't drink tea or coffee it's not the best place for me to review! I do occasionally get a drink or a small sandwich though and it's just fine. However, this place needs better parking situation! Sometimes really tough to find a spot and they seem like theyre always busy.

I have stopped here on several occasions with each and every visit ending on a poor experience. Out of all the SB stores in Tampa this has to be on the bottom of the list. I have been given luke warm coffee on one occasion and coffee without sweetener on my last visit. I only complain due to the fact that as we all know first thing in the morning when your in that morning wake up funk all you crave is a great cup of SB wake me up. It's a total bubble buster to leave the drive thru with your expected cup of happiness and end up tasting some blah tasting cold java....I don't believe I will be giving this SB a third attempt..Sad to say I will be avoiding this location and opt for one I have had better luck at...

I have a love/hate relationship with this Starbucks.... Hate: I get anixety in the drive thru... the line is crazy and unorganized and I hate getting so mad when people dont follow the proper "drive thru" etiquette. It makes me want to ram into people sometimes which I really dont think is a good way to start off the morning. Love: I mean... its Starbucks and its a drive thru... need I say more? Plus... the morning road rage really wakes me up and the long lines does give me a chance to check my email/groupon/yelp/facebook.. yes the line is that ridiculous. I do go here every morning so I guess it can't be that awful.. sometimes when the line is crazy they do give drinks for free.. which is nice. Need a new drink? Try .. iced coffee.. non fat milk.. sugar free carmel... its good, low fat and cheap (if you consider $3 every morning cheap for coffee).

The drive through at this location is AWFUL. There are two entrances to the drive through, which means that every morning an entire line of waiting cars gets skipped as someone pulls into the other entrance and gets in line ahead of them. I am giving this Starbucks only one star purely for the drive through design. Everything else at this location (drinks, food, employees, etc) has been great.

Decent service. What I don't like is the store is far too small and you have to park at mcdonalds alot. Coffee is great but not the best location or size.

Usually pretty fast and I have never had any problems here. 4 stars for a Starbucks doesn't ever make much sense, but this is the most convenient drive through when I find myself driving a lot during the work day. That means I end up coming through this drive through pretty regularly. With that regularity, you would expect at least one issue. Never ever! McDonalds next door is constantly slow, but these workers must actually be drinking that coffee they are brewing, and even if the McDonald's workers are, that stuff just is not of the same quality, I don't are what the commercials say. The staff is fast and friendly. Whether it is a White Chocolate Mocha Frappe with extra shots of espresso or just a regular coffee with cream and some espresso shots, it will do the trick and it never takes long.

I am a daily Starbucks junkie. Gotta have it. I usually only go to this location when I am too lazy to get out of my car. This location has messed up every latte I order. Never fails. Line is sometimes long-sometimes slow. When I came to this location on a regular, they never recognized my voice to my drink and name like the Big Bend location does. Not usually friendly-maybe because it's so close to UT?

Please redesign this location drive thur parking is awful. Also order a cappuccino and it barely full, when I specified fat free milk & sugar free syrup. So what happened to three quarters or so??

Starbucks is, of course, something I love to indulge myself with and by indulge I mean purchase on a semi-regular basis, but who's counting? My go-to drink is always the same and, like McDonalds, Starbucks does what it does well and with uniform predictability. My grande non-fat iced dirty chai always tastes exactly the same. Same goes for muffins, breakfast sandwiches, and of course the occasional cake pop. So, why three stars? Everyone else said it - parking lot and drive-thru are about as cramped as can be. It can get messy when you are parked in the lot and can't get out b/c the drive-thru is backed up - or when you want to leave the window and there's someone trying to turn onto Kennedy from Dakota... nightmare! My advice, backtrack to platt or cleveland. Anyway, other than that, the location is fine and the staff is friendly! I can't say i'd really want to sit out there at night, unfortunately, though, so that sort of takes away from the coffee house charm. Quiet atmosphere inside, mostly people popping in for quick orders or set up with laptops. Frequent business meetings, which makes sense, since it's in a good central location.

I am not a coffee drinker, but go to this starbucks for business meetings when I am in Tampa or to catch some wifi in between meetings. The good: Its an easy central location where most people know and can meet. There is free wifi, and there is consistent items. The Bad: The parking lot is always packed. Getting a spot is hit or miss and its very crowded. If you are looking for a quick in and out experience, this is not the starbucks for you.

Don't normally do reviews on Starbucks due to the monopoly they have on the coffee market , I try to support the little guys. I did the drive through and my barista Dan was so sweet he saved me .. Wait for it ! A 20 cents .. Eyes rolling I am sure .. It is not the 20 cents that is the point.. It's the fact that he had exceptional customer service and he took it upon himself to be proactive and offer ways to save a few cents .. I like that brain cells were being used and not just another drone like barista at your service .. Way to go Starbucks on Kennedy .. You have a star

So, I'm ranking this Starbucks as a 3 compared to others in Tampa. Why so low? The parking here is a nightmare as is getting in and out of the actual parking lot. They are seriously out of two of my favorite things....vanilla roobois tea and rice krispy treats (or rice dream bars as I think Starbucks calls them) at least 75% of the time. I've asked them multiple times why they are consistently out of these items and no one seems to have a great answer. The bathroom is normally pretty dirty too. Giving them the benefit of the doubt though this is a very high volume Starbucks and their staff have always been warm, attentive and pleasant. They are efficient as well for the volume of people they push through on a daily basis.

If this were your first experience of the Starbucks franchise, you would walk away neither overly impressed nor depressed. For those of us who've easily been in dozens of them, the feeling is about the same. In our particular case this week, it was a necessary evil -- we were trying to locate yet another tourist attraction (this sounds like complaining, but trust me, we were having a fabulous time) and the iPhone and its handy GPS were nearly dead, so we ducked into Starbucks for a drink and a good long battery charge. I'd never had a Starbucks smoothie before and I'll never have one again. It was just not like a 'real' smoothie -- no fruit chunks, no bold fruit flavors, nothin' interesting, and a strong preservative taste to seal the deal. But chances are I'd have said the same thing if I'd gone to any other Starbucks nationwide, so don't take that the wrong way. The girls behind the counter were LOUD and goofy, but at least they were having fun at work. Plenty of parking out front.
