This is a great Starbucks and the one that I stop at almost threw mornings a week. There's no drive through but it's so easy to get in and out that it doesn't matter. My favorite coffee to get is a simple task blonde. It tastes a tiny bit chocolaty and I like how is smoother than most of their other coffees. My favorite breakfast food there is the bacon sandwich with egg and gouda. I'd amazing.

The fact alone that I'm taking time to review this Starbucks speaks volumes. as any seasoned Starbucks patron can attest to, each Starbucks has its own culture, if you will, and climate. this lively, upbeat location is staffed with awesome individuals who really go the extra distance to make your drinks and experience pleasant. This is not the standard at every Starbucks I have been to and I appreciate the climate of this one being so positive. Although normally bustling, the staff never falls short of providing exceptional service with warm affect. The store itself is well lit, with industrial styled high ceilings and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Despite being busy, there is usually a chair or table available for those individuals that like to work or study in a public atmosphere. The music selection is always great, and kept at a reasonable level. There is a broad variety of individuals who patronize this location so people watching here is stellar, if that's your thing. I enjoy sitting outside for some fresh air and sunshine and there are even outlets outside for your electronic devises. I also occasionally bring my pup, as they are dog friendly. The store itself is usually kept rather cool (great AC) so bring a sweater/sweatshirt/jacket if you get chilled easily and expect to spend some time here. The ample parking lot is in the back and at the side of the store and there are handicapped spots available near the front door. On the times I've used them I found the bathrooms are always clean and stocked. On my particular visit today I was greeted with a smile and other pleasantries. I decided to try the cold brew coffee and I was not disappointed. On the website it claims that the coffee is brewed over 20 hours, resulting in a smooth taste. I definitely recommend. The staff is efficient and makes their orders rather quickly so if you need to grab a drink in a hurry this should be your "go to" spot. Thank you, Soho Starbucks, for consistently exceeding my expectations. Kudos to you.

This is only Starbucks that I've written a review for despite the countless Starbucks locations I've been to in the past. I love this location! It's very close to my apartment in south tampa. The factors that makes his Starbucks so special are: 1. There are plenty of free parking! This is an amazing trait to have as a business in south tampa because limited parking or paid parking will keep me from going to certain locations. There's a giant parking lot behind Starbucks so it's not an issue. 2. Plenty of tables to do work! There is one big table which seats 6 ppl, 6 small tables, 4 couches, 6 seats on the bar facing outside, and 1 table that can seat 4 people. So plenty of seating. On top of those 2 very important factors there is super friendly baristas, and perfect temperature. I really couldn't ask for more. I think I found my second home. Lol

I'll keep my Starbucks reviews limited to those locations that I think are better than your average Starbucks. This location on South Howard, I believe, is one of the nicer ones in Tampa. It is very spacious, high ceilings, plenty of comfortable seating options, inside and out...nice "scenery" too (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Thought it would be snobby based on the location but I didn't detect any snobbery from the staff or patrons. And the caramel frappuccino was made perfectly. So there you have it...5 stars

Those of you who follow my reviews know that I am not a big fan of coffee. In fact the thought of knocking back a mug of percolated, roasted Columbian bean juice pretty much turns my stomach. No matter how much I might like that early morning blast of caffeine to clear the cobwebs after a night of sharing a bottle of Caymus Special Selection Cab during dinner, I just can't handle the taste of coffee. Nope, sorry, it ain't gonna happen! Now that we have that out of the way I'll continue with my review.... So there I was, innocently minding my own business, as my friend and I strolled the sidewalks of SOHO one afternoon, when she suddenly perked up and gushed, "Oh look.....a Starbucks!". She used her feminine trickery to convince me to stop at the store so that she could order a mega-cup of Grande Mocha Triple-shot Soy Milk Salted Caramel Flan Latte blah blah blah while I ordered a simple hot green tea. (How in the hell does anyone remember the name of a drink that must take 5 minutes to write down all of the ingredients?) Oh, and she also wanted a low-fat blueberry whole-grain yogurt muffin with honey ("because it sounded yummy"). We found a quiet table in a corner of the store, and sat down to chat while waiting for the barista to call the name on our order. (I had momentarily pondered giving my name as 'Beelzebub', but I decided to behave.) Perhaps I was captivated by my date's lovely smile, or the friendliness of the folks behind the counter, but I began to calm down and enjoy my time inside of this coffee shop. The place was jam-packed with people typing away on their laptops and conversing on their cellphones. There was a group in the corner playing some sort of word game, and every so often they would shout out a random off-the-wall, and generally inappropriate, word and the whole shop would bust out laughing. Another group was playing a board game, and so the mood was very festive. As I sipped my tea I took in the décor of the shop which included vaulted high ceilings, huge plate-glass windows, tables and chairs which could easily be pushed together to accommodate any-sized group, a large outdoor patio where the locals sat with their four-footed furry friends, super-friendly folks behind the counter, and everyone laughing as they worked or played games or simply chatted away. The smells of the various drinks and food items was pleasing, and I am told that the muffin was divine, though I was threatened with a fork stab to the back of my hand if I even thought about reaching across the table to try a bite. The folks from Starbucks love to say, "Wake up and smell the coffee -- Starbucks is everywhere," and rightly so as the world's #1 specialty coffee retailer has more than 16,000 coffee shops in more than 35 countries. They've built a massively-successful brand, and you have to admire all of that work and the quality of their products. You'll find this particular Starbucks located along South Howard just south of Swann Avenue, and in easy walking distance of several popular restaurants and neighborhood watering holes. The shop is open at 5am each morning, and stays open till 11pm on weeknights, and then till 12 Midnight on Friday and Saturday nights for your late-night Java fix. There's a huge parking lot out back, so plenty of room to c'mon down and meet your friends. I'll never be a coffee drinker, but I am a huge fan of this neighborhood gathering spot and the service that they provide to the local community. Oh, and they have hot tea and cocoa to keep me happy!

Dying to get away from the crowd, my group decided we needed some beverages of the caffeinated kind. The spouse piped up, "Hey, there's a Starbucks down the street". The bestie and I jumped right on board with the idea and off we went, adventurers in SoHo. We walked in and I smiled. What a nice location! It's very open, with vaulted ceilings and plenty of seating. Our barista was efficient and friendly, even when I whipped out an online coupon for a free kid's hot chocolate with espresso drink purchase. Tonight was my splurge night, so I opted for a tall Peppermint Mocha Latte and a Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop. Both were delicious. The barista that prepared our drinks had a dazzling smile and added a flourish to the way she prepared the beverages. Great customer service! I wish I was in this area more often. I'd certainly stop here to kick back with a coffee.

I am a Starbucks junkie-I get a quad-7 shot latte daily. In South Tampa, this is my fav location. Barista's are awesome, know you by name and drink. They are friendly and make it so easy to come back for more. They know ALL of my drinks-my substitutions for my seasonal drinks, my usual all year round drink, and my lunch drink. No questions asked-they have it already going as I am walking in!

My first time at this Starbucks was genuinely fantastic. Yes it can get a little crowded. Bought a little waiting is worth the good service. I asked then nice young lady behind the counterto give me a lighter and stronger blend in the same brew. I had the blonde with the medium and she made a single pour. And seem to be very glad to oblige. Definitely will make this a regular place to visit, the outdoor seating is a plus. The people that were visiting that they were very pleasant and patient. The coffee was fresh brewed well, perfect temperature. And I can be pretty fussy about temperature not a problem here. Very comfortable seating inside, I was waiting for someone else to meet me there. And would not mind waiting again and enjoying a good cup of coffee. I must add. Had a Delicious warm, Flourless(No Gluten). Double Chocolate Cookie. They are so addicting. Sometimes, I take half home and, 10 sec in the MWave and treat myself again. Plenty of parking on the side of bldg.

I like Starbucks but their rewards are really painful to check. I have to push so many buttons to find out my balance every time. Aside from that, this location is pretty great. I love going in and out but you'll never catch me sticking around. The baristas are good at making coffee and they are kind. It's definitely a place to check out.

It is a Starbucks. What is different about it is the fact that it usually full of patrons sitting on their lap tops. The lines are usually pretty short. They have a big parking lot in the back. Outdoor seating is available but usually full.

Never have I been treated so rudely at a service establishment. ESPECIALLY since they have signs saying "If your drink isn't perfect let us know" Everyone that knows me knows I love Starbucks americanos. I by one veyday- sometimes two. I always have a starbucks cup in my hand. This time my americano was so hot I could hardly hold the cup even with the sleeve on. I waited 5 minutes to drink from it and even then, I burned my tongue. When I tried to let them know, this snooty asian girl says "The water comes out at almost 200 degrees"- LIKE I DONT KNOW HOW HOT AN AMERICANO USUALLY IS. I tried telling her I get one all the time. Her answer? She had the barista re-make it, this time with ice on the bottom of the cup. Needless to say, this time the drink was tepid at best. When I told the barista, this red headed guy, he walks over to the asian girl and says (which I could totally hear) "Now she says it's too cold" Im sorry Starbucks employees. I forgot I'm supposed to pay for this drink and just take it and drink it no matter how it comes out, and not bother you guys. They totally made me feel like an idiot. I asked to just get my money back, and I'd go to another starbucks. Michael, a skinny young kid who says he's the manager goes "I"M SORRY THE TEMPERATURE OF THE DRINK DID NOT AGREE WITH YOUR TASTE BUDS" and boy, he didn't sound sorry at all, he sounded annoyed. By this time I got angry and said: "You are making me feel bad for saying something when this sign clearly says "if not perfect let us know we'll make it right", and that is not cool" Michael says "I said I'm sorry I don't know what you want from us" Hum...maybe a little sincerity? Maybe I'm sorry for the inconvenience, or that we couldn't get your drink right and you'll have to go somewhere else? Maybe actually trying to get the drink right and not just throwing ice cubes on the bottom of the cup. Maybe not treating me like I was a great big annoying inconvenience. I work in the service industry and I would NEVER tried my customers like this. Starbucks, I thought you trained your staff better then this.

Its a hip location with plenty of singles who meet and set up dates. Oh God, I used hip in a review, I hate myself for doing it. There is always a great conversation and lots of chances to sit outside and watch SoHo go by the cafe. There are couple of down sides to this one specifically: When you get here, if you plan to work, bring a power strip. There are never enough outlets and this place is busy. Its a better location to work where you can tolerate noise, because there is always, "That guy" who talks too loud about something not worth talking about, or a "so cute" kid who like to run around your chair while his mother looks on while he disturbs you. Nice outdoor area, but mind your stuff there are a few homeless folks who sometimes scope out unattended items.

So yeah its just a starbucks. but its got a lot of interesting things going on. I walk inside and talk to the folks making the drinks, ya know friendly conversation , and I told them I'm new in town and it all went fine until I told them where i moved from! and all i can see is a lot of eye rolling .. and yes I'm not going to mention where i moved from! I sat down, and soon the place filled up with a bunch of girls who were loud and obnoxious , which is fine cause it was good entertainment to watch! Overall it was an interesting experience. I enjoyed the music, the coffee and the free entertainment! just don't go there to study cause i tried doing that and i didn't get anywhere with it.

Its a Starbucks... but this one is walkable from home and has a great outdoor seating space on Howard Ave. I only drink the shaken tea (not a coffee achiever here) so thats all I can comment on. I love the black shaken tea - its strong, could be even a tad stronger IMO, but I'm not gonna quibble over that I suppose. Here's an issue though: Walked the dog up there and picked his tiny butt up (Italian Greyhound) and went in to order - so I could sit outside with him, and one of the employees was NOT NICE about saying he needed to be outside. Well, DUH. Thats why I was gonna sit outside... Dolt. So I asked for my tea to be brought out - WHICH THEY NEGLECTED TO DO after saying 'sure'. FAIL. And thats why they get 2 stars instead of 4. One idiot employee can do that.

I got in and got out...very fast. This was on a Saturday meaning that there was basically a petting zoo outside due to all the dogs on leashes at tables. Hey it's a Starbucks and they're peddling a legal drug...lucky for you, they're open 24/7.

This Starbucks rates a review because, for better or worse, it has character. During the day it's so packed with laptop users you'd swear you entered a tech start-up's unorthodox work commune were it not for the baristas' familiar outfits. As dusk fades, it attracts a fairly regular crowd of Tampa's finest minimum wage earners outside while the inside seems a bit like a study hall. This is one of those rare Starbucks that seems to approximate the Platonic coffee house, with regulars either spending all day exploiting the free wireless connection alongside a cuppa joe or just living the slightly overpriced Bohemian life as they dread the limbo between when this once 24hr Sbux closes and when they can return to what has clearly become their neighborhood haven.

Great Starbucks! The outdoor seating is an awesome place for some good people watching. After reading other reviews, I found out that this place is open 24 hours. Knowing this, I'm sure I will be visiting at 1-2am someday in the near future.

Let's just get this out of the way- it's open 24 hours. This means that, after 1am, you're going to run into drunks or people in recovery. The locals usually clear out by midnight. The staff is pretty great. As you might imagine, cleaning up vomit in bathrooms on a regular basis tends to take the edge off of a person, regardless of how caffeinated s/he may be. The outdoor seating is ample. and rarely unusable, as the weather tends to be agreeable. Sure. there might be a lot of weirdos, but you can usually just pull up a chair and engage in whatever inappropriate debate is taking place. Just don't try to talk with the guy intently watching the game outside on a portable television. If Ohio's losing, he's pretty cranky.

Walking up to Starbucks at 3 AM some weeks ago, from a full table outside, I heard, "VAGINA!" "PUSSY!" "PUSSY FOOT!" "CHLAMYDIA!" ...WTF? A minute later, I realized that they were playing a game like Taboo or Catch Phrase. Apparently, they're ALWAYS there. Good times. Though I still wonder what that word was... Yes, I'm writing yet another 5-star review for a Starbucks. I mean, it's hard to give a place that's open 24/7 any other rating. Plus, they've got cute, attentive baristas ready to serve you a tasty drink any hour of the day! You can't beat that. Definitely my Starbucks of choice when I'm in Tampa! Sidenote: If you're going to sit outside, use bug spray. In the scant few minutes that I sat outside to people-watch, I got four mosquito bites on my leg!
