Late night and I've got to grab something on the way home from HOS, sonic is a great stop. With lots and lots of choices for drink combinations. I made the mistake of asking for "Diet" and was told that they have more than 50 options. WOW! I generally order a Foot long coney with tots and a diet coke. it's a reasonable order for under $10. The service is fine, never rushed or hurried, Sometimes it's slow but on a Saturday night, that's what I've come to expect.

I waited in the drive-thru for thirty minutes after ordering two shakes. 30 MINUTES. I feel as if an Oreo milkshake and caramel malt aren't that difficult to make, but boy.. I must be wrong! The issues began as soon as I arrived. The girl taking my order could not understand or hear me through the microphone. No big deal, that happens at plenty of fast food joints. And to be fair, some of the wait time was because the person in front of me had ordered 10 milkshakes. When I finally got to the window, I was told to pay at the credit card reader located on the outside of the window. The total was incorrect, so I notified the employee and she eventually gave up and ran my card manually inside. She handed me one shake and gave me my card back. I could see that the other employees were running around trying to complete all of the orders since they were fairly busy for late on a week night. I waited another 5 minutes and the girl finally came back and asked me what I had ordered.. I told her again and she had the wrong shake in her hand. She closed the window and spoke with her coworkers, then told me that the first shake she had handed me was for the person behind me. I hadn't drank it yet, but I had inserted the straw. I handed the shake back and the girl took out the straw and threw it away.. all I could hope was that she wasn't still going to give it to the other customer. How could she know that I hadn't drank any? Gross. So I was back at square one: waiting and no milkshakes. If I hadn't already promised to get this treat, I would have just left. I watched them finally make both shakes and I was able to leave. I drove away and took a sip of my malt; absolutely disgusting. I don't know if it wasn't caramel or if the syrup/ice cream had gone bad, but it was not edible. No complaints on the other shake, but it wasn't worth returning to fix.

The classic cherry limeade is always refreshing! Sonic is nothing to brag about. All we ordered was limeades and tots, which took a little bit of time for us to get. But hey, not a major disappointment!

We just cruised through the drive-thru for breakfast. The service was friendly. The guy who gave us our food gave us some caramel dip as a personal recommendation for the French toast sticks, in addition to the standard syrup. I thought that was cool. The ultimate meat and cheese breakfast burrito was probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. I usually get McDonalds breakfast burritos, but this one is FAR superior. Also, you can order off the breakfast menu all day. Good to know if you are looking for a late breakfast.
