We were so happy that we took the trip up here to enjoy some beers with the friendly staff and their teeny little skittish dog, who resembled a new born Mousedeer! It is not the most exotic of locations and it's away from central Tampa but this means it doesn't get too full. If you would permit me, I would like to take you through the beers that I enjoyed here (some are available in quite small measures so you can try quite a few if you have the will and I sure did!) The hmmm...ok I guess beers Terrapin (Athens, Georgia) - Liquid Bliss Lot of good things come from Athens...such as REM and errr (something else). This is a Peanut Butter Chocolate Porter. I ordered it out of curiosity. I think PB is vile and porter is not really a beer type that I am partial to, so I didn't expect to love it Luckily I found the flavour to be peanut, but not butter so I enjoyed it more than I would have anticipated. I scored this one a 2.5. Six Ten Horchata Stout - obviously I am not a big fan of stout in general. This one did have a bit of spice to it, meaning I liked it more than I would usually. 2.5 Three Palms Brewing - Coconut Cream Pie Ale A cream ale with a sweet hint of coconut is the description. The first few sips had a third taste that I can only describe as 'ashtray'. The taste faded after a while and really wasn't as bad as I am making it sound. 2.5. The better My first beer was the Magpie Rye+ from Six Ten themselves. It was easy drinking but it wasn't as rye as I generally like my rye. 3 The best! Green Bench Surrealist - This beer takes the best qualities of a sour beer and blends them with the best qualities of an America IPA. Such a tasty little number - my gawd! A 5 star beer for sure. I couldn't drink pints and pints of it but that is always the way with sour beers. The Six Ten TPA was recommended to me by a chap at the bar (or a barfly as I believe the local lingo would have it) when I was settling up the bill so I ordered a small measure. It was a great tip, a great way to finish the evening and I was happy to find a beer to love from this charming brewery. 4.5 for the beer and 5 stars all round for a cracking evening out!

Visited on a Friday night with some friends. Found Parking easily and bar stools were readily available. The brewery is small but comfy. The crowd was mixed and very friendly in my opinion!! There are plenty of indoor tables as well as outdoor seating. This brewery is located down a dark road in a rural setting. Well worth the drive if you aren't local. Excellent craft beers and surprising guest taps! Impressive bottles including rare beers with a bottle limit (ex: Funky Buddha Last Snow $16). On tap was generally $5-$6 for a pint or snifter depending on the ABV. Try the Blouser for sure :)

Whenever I'm in Tampa I stop in at Cigar City but I always feel like I'm missing out on Tampa's beer scene by only going to one place. It's such a struggle. Anyway, I was at Cigar City and a guy told me I had to get to Six Ten. So, I looked it up and saw that it was literally right around the corner from my work. I walked in at around 5:00 and it wasn't too busy. I was able to sit at the bar and I ordered a flight. The guy with the beard helped me (I can't remember his name) and he was awesome. He had actually only lived in Tampa for a few months and was a transplant from Huntington Beach. I was able to remind him of all the luxuries of SoCal such as 3am tacos and Roscoe's. My favorite of the beers I tried was the Blouser. It was a tripel but it was very drinkable. Like, this tripel could get you in trouble because it didn't taste heavy. They don't have food here but there are menus of local places that deliver and they served me pretzels galore! The other cool part about this place is that the patrons were so cool. I was there alone and they made sure I had a great time. Thanks, Six Ten. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Tampa.

With no doubt is one of my favorite hangout out places in west tampa area. All kind of beer and wine selections. Is not a bar is a place to hangout with friends, you can even take your dog. Prices are really good not expensive at all and if you like game board games, don't worry they have them all.

Great local Brewery with a nice tasting room including their brews and other guest from FL and other states. EXCELLENT service and very knowledgeable...great small town feeling! A food truck in the parking to complement the experience. I had the Rye Pale Ale and the Pilsner...GREAT choices, plus got a growler to go! ....I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and nice place to enjoy a local brew!

This place is a gem! Great beer with great guest taps. Chris, Leslie and Victor are amazing and very knowledgeable in beer and wine. Bottles available for purchase as well. Gotta get off the beaten path to find it but well worth it.

So many beers, so little time. What a great, casual spot to stop in and sample your soon-to-be-favorite beer. Owners are on site and so is their dog. You can see that brewery is a labor of love which makes you happy to support it. Great options for every palate with small pours if you want to give them all a try.

Yet another stop on our Tampa Bay Brew Tour, Six Ten Brewing was an unexpected weekend pick. It happens to be fairly close to where I live, which made it a top priority on our list. I wasn't expecting such a crowd for somewhere so out of the way! It's located on Benjamin Road, I'd guess not even a mile off of Waters Ave. A food truck was parked in the lot and a group of guys huddled near the door playing cornhole. We made our way up to the bar and waited for someone to help us. I noticed bowls of pretzels being served to patrons. I asked for a sample of the American Pale Ale, but that definitely was not the beer for me. The bartenders were either too busy or forgot about us, so luckily another beer-lover assisted me in choosing and recommended the CBGB. This was right up my alley since I have recently discovered a love for sour beers! There were also a few syrup choices that you could add to it. I found that to be an interesting concept (which I'd never heard of) so I went with sour cherry. The beer was great and I certainly would've ordered another glass if it were less busy. I also tasted the Blouser which was alright, but still not my style. My one complaint is that Six Ten's website does not have their beer list. They do have an app, which I did download to find out what they had, but the interface isn't the greatest and it was sort of a pain. They had outside seating which is nice for dog owners or people such as us who visit on a crowded Friday night. The big screen TVs inside were perfect for watching the Rays game and we could see just fine from our table outside. Although next time, I'd like to find a seat inside so I can avoid the mosquito bites!

What a great place! Stopped in with a group of 6 and were able to grab one of the bigger tables. The staff really knew what to recommend based on your taste. I really like that they have guest taps alongside the house brews. The selections were great. I think you can pretty much find anything to suit your liking. I was only sad because they were out of the Peanut Butter Stout. The atmosphere is very relaxed and bonus, they are pet friendly! Maggie, the brewery pup, was greeting everyone and made sure to stop for extra pets when we were leaving. I like that you can get a 4 oz tasting for about $2 before committing to the 10-14 oz. There is no food to purchase but food trucks do come out. We did get a bowl of pretzels that hit the spot after a few beers. You are also welcome to bring in your own grub if needed. I'm really glad we stopped in and will definitely be making a return trip! Cheers!!

Love this place. Its dog friendly! Yay! Loved their selection of beers and ciders and their atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. Place kind of had a homey feel even though it had an industrial type vibe. Would definitely come back again.

Went to Six Ten on Friday after dinner for a couple drinks with my girlfriend. The place was packed and we could hardly make it to the bar to order. It took awhile to get a bartender's attention but eventually we got a chance to try their American Pale Ale. Neither of us were big fans, so I ordered a glass of the Blouser and she had the CBGB. Those were much closer to our style and we really liked them. Six Ten seemed like a cool place to hang out and enjoy a few beers. There was a food truck outside and a couple picnic tables to sit at. The interior had some cool posters and big screen tv's to watch the game. I liked that you could see the whole brewing process from the tasting room. I'd like to go back with friends on a night when they aren't so busy so I can really get a feel for the brewery and to get a chance to play cornhole.

I know I'm not going to make many friends by bucking the consensus, but I have to. I just don't get what the big deal is? Maybe they didn't have their best stuff on tap when I was here? The beer is solid. It's good, but nothing here really blew my mind. I didn't drink anything here that made me want to get 32 or 128 ounces of it. I didn't regret drinking the beer here, but I didn't text friends saying "OMG U HAVE TO COME HERE" (I don't really text like that). The best parts of this place are: The ambiance: very nice-looking brewing setup, lots of friendly locals, and friendly bar tenders. The location: for the people that live near here. Although the Tampa Bay area has seen an EXPLOSION in the number of breweries ever since a millionaire owner of gentlemen's clubs started injecting money into the craft beer industry...this area is still a relative beer desert. There weren't any foodcarts when I was here, but I love that setup! We ate at Lilo's down the street, which was incredible.

What a great little place! We made our way over here after dinner at Loli's down the road and were not disappointed. PJ Rick's food truck was outside which would have been a nice option if we weren't already stuffed with delicious Mexican food. There was no wait to grab a table and someone came over to find out what we wanted to drink right away. I had elderberry and wildberry ciders which were delicious. The pretzels were also freely flowing until last call and I ate more than I care to say. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time drinking and playing Cards Against Humanity and a couple of other games, they have a huge stack by the front door. Operation was sadly missing a lot of the pieces, I was hoping to relive my childhood anxiety while playing that but no such luck. The ambiance is really nice, very laid back feel to the place and didn't feel cramped even as more and more people poured in. Everything is clean and new(or very well kept). It's rare for me to enjoy a brewery this much since I'm really not a beer person, but I loved everything I drank and will definitely be back. You don't need to love beer to love this place.

My fiancé and I had a 5 star experience on our first trip here. As other reviews mentioned, the brewery is situated in an area off the beaten path. However, that's one of the things I enjoyed most about it--that it's not right in the middle of everything. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They also cater to well behaved dogs and our dog was no exception. The beer menu is diverse. They're still in the process of producing enough for the tap room, but they have a variety of Berliners all the way to double IPAs. We also tried their seasonal pumpkin. I didn't have a beer I didn't like which is great to say for a brand new brewery; these guys know what they're doing. They offer $2 (plastic) and $4 (glass) 32 oz growlers for you to fill with your favorite beer and take home. What's more is they have an excellent selection of guest taps as well. You won't find food here, but they have various food trucks on the weekend nights. They also offer bar snacks (pretzels) in the tasting room. I felt welcomed and enjoyed trying most of the beers on the menu. This is a great addition to the Tampa Bay craft beer scene and I can't wait to return.

Another solid Florida craft brewery. Walked in right when they opened and had the place to myself during the week. Plenty of room for groups to visit though. The staff were friendly and made recommendations for what they had on tap. They don't do "flights" but you can order as many small-glass pours as you want to create your own flight. All of their beers were solid. I'm not a dark beer guy and even those were pint worthy. It may be small, but I really liked that they gave you a bowl of pretzels too. No one does that anymore. It's the little things that push places above the competition and they did that here. Definitely worth the drive if you are in Tampa.

Six-Ten Brewery selected one of the worst places in Tampa to put their brewery, but it's close to home and now I know where it is. Very rarely do I travel down the old airport industrial road we call Benjamin, but when I do, it's usually to avoid traffic backups along Hillsborough at the Vet. Well, yesterday La Chica and I found ourselves in this very predicament, and when traveling North on Benjamin, lo and behold, we saw "Craft Beer" flags and a food truck, so we hastily turned left into the parking lot to see what was up. Honestly, I couldn't have been more glad that we did. Apparently, this operation is still under construction, but they're open to the public and one can waltz right in and order some brew. In addition to their own brand, they also offer some other craft brews, but you can get those pretty much anywhere. I ordered up their Belgian Triple and fell in love. It might have been one of the best I've ever had. The food truck outside was "Thai One On," which I had never eaten at, but I wasn't hungry, so it remained that way. On their menu, there is a monthly food truck schedule, so one can easily plan their attack based on the type of food available on any given day. Staff was friendly as all get out, and the place was very nice. Hopefully, this brewery will bring some life back into this sad neighborhood. I know that I will definitely be back.

Recently visited Tampa for a concert, day after decided to hit up Cigar City Brewery made some friends who recommend and escorted us to this little gem. Delicious beer they brew on tap and other bottle menu as well. The owners were super friendly, you could tell they really enjoy what they do- and the service amazing. They don't serve food but two local places will deliver food. My friends ordered pizza, I decided on Lolli's Mexican Cravings and had the most amazing tacos I've eaten anytime recently (outside of last trip to Texas). Needless to say, once the beer was pouring we spent a few hours here! They also have shirts and merchandize for sale as well as Growlers! They are also dog friendly and have their own little adorable bar mascot running around. Will definitely stop here again next time I'm in Tampa!

Great craft brewery in a fun warehouse setting. They had two of their own brews last night, as well as guest brewers on tap, plenty of bottles and even a variety of wines and sodas. The staff was very friendly and the place was packed. They don't serve food, but last night there was a Cajun food truck there. Brewery was very clean. We can't wait to visit again.

What a weird spot for a brewery, huh? There were plenty of TV's for game-watching, food truck fun, and a game of Sapo. In Spanish, a sapo is a frog, but this game that I used to play in Colombian colleges which is our equivalent to billiards was a surprising find! You basically throw bottle caps kinda skee ball style at differently scored slots, but if you get it in the sapo's mouth, you win! I never give five stars, but I've been here twice and guess what? I love the craft beer and other options here. So industrial looking, so hidden, so clean, so friendly. I'm going hard with five stars man!

Great spot, a few of their own brews and a excellent selection of hard to find craft beers and mead on tap and in bottles. Good food truck on-site when we were there, my kids loved playing with the brewery dog Maggie.

Love the beer here. Great spot that has always been full when I've arrived showing just how great the beer and staff are! Great ambiance, staff and owners that make you feel like family, and a real love of beer above all else makes this place one of my favorite breweries in the area!

Beer snobbery!!! as a society I feel that the beer world is making a mark through microbreweries and distributors who sell craft brews to many restaurants and bars. It is now constantly in your face striking your curiosity with all the variations of food mashups in a beer form. As a fan of mixology, beer has now become its own form of technique and mixology. I can now grow a beard, wear lumberjack shirts puff out my chest and say yeah!!! pour me another Weizen!!! The bartender knows that was code for yes I'll take another watermelon wheat please:-) Six Ten Brewing offers a selection of great beers brewed right in their brewery as well as guest taps which are frequently switched out on a week to week basis. Their tasting room aka indoor seating is open wed - sat 3p - 9p and sun 2p - 7p. Six hours of operation 4 days a week sounds like a line of business I should investigate getting into. Nonetheless, they take pride in what they do and are always happy to discuss any brew they have on tap or bottled to give you a better perspective. They don't offer food other than maybe some complimentary pretzels. After all, the focus is their take on craft brews. However, in many cases like mine, most people like an adult beverage with a meal. What they have done to satisfy that corner of the market is to invite a rotation of guest food trucks on every Friday and Saturday. What a perfect opportunity to eat, drink and support local right people??? Six Ten Brewing is located in an industrialize region of town. Even their layout and décor screams industrial. Despite their location, they keep a solid crowd, so someone must have did some serious homework when picking location. Owners and staff are super friendly, so don't shy from any beerology questions you might have. The layout is canine proofed so feel to bring your four legged friend as you pull up a chair or barstool. . After a long days work, we all crave a cold beverage of some sort. For my experience, I food truck dined and I paired my eats with a guest tap of lost coasts watermelon wheat. This was a safe choice for me since I was familiar with other brews lost coast provide. It was crisp, light, refreshing with that light flavoring note of watermelon. I did round out my meal with an in house cider they had on tap they called homemade apple pie. This was one of the most interesting mashups I've had in a drink form in a while. You could taste the buttery notes of a crust and a cinnamon apple flavor or cider. Pie in a snifter glass, felt like home for the holidays. I came back the following week looking for my pie and it was off the menu:'( My growing knowledge of craft beers are slowly increasing. I am not a beer lover, I am a beer snob!!! Well... Maybe one day, My beer vocabulary and knowledge is still limited. Good thing Six Ten Brewing is constantly changing out beers for me to sample and educate me on this subject.

This just s definitely my favorite Brewery in Tampa to date. The owners are super nice. How can you not love a place where the owners dog great you at the door. I like that they offer the 4oz option. You can try a bunch.

This place is fantastic! Always find a great group of people there, the owners are fantastic and inviting. Every Friday and Saturday there is a food truck. Perfect place to come after work and have a few beers. Their selection is extensive.

This place is just cool. That's my first impression as I hang out, but it's cool without trying too hard or hipsterish cool. Confused yet? So one of the first things I learned after my recent move to Tampa Bay is that this city is apparently an emerging haven for craft breweries and gastropubs. I was sitting at home alone on a Friday night and took to my Yelp app and just entered craft beer. This little gem popped up as being nearby and thanks to the reviews I decided to give it a whirl. I picked up my ex coworker and headed over. This place is on a street that I've never been on and probably would never have been on even though I work near the airport. It's actually a pro and a con. I would never stumble across this place on my own, but it also means most other folks won't so even for a Friday night we were able to find a table with no wait. They had quite a huge selection of bottled beers, many of which I've had in the past, so I decide to just give the in house brews a whirl. I start at the top and work my way down. My buddy is a bit less adventurous and starts off with some tasters, I go straight for pints. I FEAR NO BEER! Ok, frat boy moment over. As I start to look at other tables, and a sidebar, I notice they have board games and even a super sized Jenga for guests just to use. It reminds me of an amazing brew tour I took in Brooklyn. Overall, I'm really liking the vibe here. The tables, the chairs, the ambiance, the knowledgeable staff, and the tasty brew is all working together beautifully, and then I see this small dog just hanging around and working the crowd. As a dog dad myself, it was the icing, err, garnish on the beer. (sorry bad analogy twist) For those who want something to munch on or crave some fast food when they drink, make sure you show up on one of the nights where an independent food truck sets up shop and hawks its culinary wares. Cool huh?

I get distracted easily and Six Ten Brewing was a welcome distraction from a day of furniture shopping. Located on Benjamin Road, this is not a brewery that I would typically drive past so my man friend and I decided to stop in when we were in the area. Gosh, this place is great! I liked that the tasting room was right next to the brewing area and you could see it all. There are 3 of their own beers on tap and a wide assortment of other craft brews. You can get the beers in full pours or in flight sizes. We tried all 3 of their beers and they were all really good. I also enjoyed that they brought out pretzels to the table to snack on. There are lots of board games here, as well, which makes for a fun afternoon or evening at the brewery. Six Ten is definitely a lot of fun.

We just moved to Tampa from Colorado so are no strangers to microbreweries. Six Ten is close to us so we thought we'd give it a shot. The atmosphere is like a lot of the microbreweries in Colorado - comfortable and simple and cool and felt like home with all of the games and friendly, knowledgeable beertenders. Their beer is great and they have a good selection of guest beers. If you go here, definitely also get delivery from Loli's Mexican down the street. It's a perfect pairing!!
