This is one of those places that I've unfortunately driven past for many, many moons. And I mean unfortunate for me because I've been missing out on some serious deals. La Chica and I are all about ballin' on a budget, so we keep tabs on places with beneficial specials. How this one flew under the radar, I don't know, but I'm on top of it now. What's the deal you ask? How about $6 pitchers and $5 appetizers after 11 PM? Does that sound good? You're god damn right it does! I bellied up to the bar with my homie, The Manbeast, and ordered up a pitcher and the chili nachos. As you can see by my picture of said nachos, they ain't no joke. I ate about a 3rd, and Manbeast dusted them off for me. In my opinion, this app is for 3 moderately hungry people to share. Other apps looked great too, and all are included in the deal except the peel and eat shrimp and the triple play combo platter. It was Sunday and there was some really good karaoke going on with JAMZ Entertainment. Normally it's pretty laughable, but these folks up here take shit serious. Great place, with a great vibe and awesome wood panel siding on the walls.

Love this place!!! Great to watch the game with plenty of TV's. I love that I can order only flats when I order chicken wings!!

This place is outstanding! 20 wings and a pitcher of Bud Select for $20!! Great server and a great place to watch the game. Definitely will be back again

Tried this place on a whim and we were impressed!! The wings were FANTASTIC (coming from a buffalonian!) we had the chips and queso as an app and it was great! I also had a California turkey sandwich that was delicious!! This is a great locally owned sports bar that has good music, plenty of tv's and excellent food! Definitely better than any beef o' Brady's in Tampa!

I was not a fan of Prime time. The chips and queso were extremely bland and asked for some buffalo sauce to give it some taste. My husband had the bleu burger and he said it was ok. The service.. WHat service? She never came around. It was not busy at all.

I've been here a few times. It's a great place to hang out and watch the games, and on a dry day you can watch inside or out. I've only ever had their wings, which have a few flavors you don't find at many places (teriyaki, honey, garlic, raspberry chipotle, hectors, etc.). And their prices are reasonable. Service is always fast and friend and food is good.

We went here last Saturday March 14 around lunch time and the place was dead. During football season the place is packed, it's hard to get a seat unless you get there crazy early, and if you are seated.. The sound boxes to hear your game rarely work on the Steelers game. The Food: I've had the wings. Not bad. On Saturday though.. I was in the mood for a tuna melt. I should have sent it back. The bread was grilled.. But the tuna was cold and the cheese wasn't melted!! Where was the cheesy goodness? NOT in this sandwich. Not my first choice of sports bars to go to.. But it is super close to where I live.

This place was great! I, along with a couple of others, had decided to catch the NBA playoffs at a sports grill instead of watching it at home. I'm really glad we did! When we first arrived, we were seated right away and noticed that it was not packed like we had anticipated. Service: Immediately, I noticed how attentive our server was. She asked us for our drinks and when we needed time to look at the menu, she made sure we didn't have to wait too long when we decided on what we wanted to order. (As soon as we put the menu's down, she came to our table). Our food came out quickly, which is ALWAYS a plus. She also refilled up our waters and brewed coffee just for my dad since it was close to evening time. My dad is the type to drink coffee all day and she was awesome for doing that. Great server. Food: The meal itself was great! Who doesn't love wings and sports games? It was like a combo made in heaven. We ordered 30 wings in hot, Hector's sauce, and teriyaki. If I wasn't driving, I would have had a few beers too. My favorite was definitely the traditional hot but Hector's sauce was interesting! We had read other Yelp reviews and were going to order the wings "extra crispy" but totally forgot. No problem though because they were still crispy and really good! A downside though, I was a bit disappointed in the cheesecake. It wasn't that good and a bit hard but I didn't have high hopes for it since we are at a sports grill. I was just craving it so I wanted to taste it anyway. Note: they have these neat speaker boxes that sit on your table and let you listen to whatever TV you want to!

Been going here for years now . Love the food especially the wings. Servers are all on point and always in a good mode. The prices are great, the bar/restaurant is clean , plenty of TV's to watch your favorite teams. I will always eat here when ever I am in the area. #1 choice in carrollwood.

Prime Time Sports Grill (PTSG) is a family-owned and operated neighborhood sports pub which can be found along N. Dale Mabry in Carrollwood. You'll find PTSG in the same shopping center as Tampa Pitcher Show and Ledo's Pizza. There is a large outdoor seating area which is popular with smokers and dog owners. Through the front doors you'll notice that the restaurant has very few windows which makes the place very dark, but it also allows them to put in over 60 HDTV's, 11 large screen TV's, and speakers on every table. They show all of the college and pro games as well as PPV sporting events. You'll see pool tables, dart boards, and several video & arcade games. Virtual sports games and on-screen trivia is popular here. There's a large dark wood and brass dining area on your left with booths and tables & chairs around the room, and the large horseshoe-shaped bar is to your right which is where most of the locals pull up a seat and socialize with their friends. Like most sports pubs PTSG has a full liquor bar as well as a menu of pub favorites including lots of fried appetizers, wings, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, pasta, and pizzas. The waitress said they are best known for their burgers and wings, so I ordered a basket of medium garlic wings plus celery & bleu cheese, and a basket of curly fries to try on my visit. The wings were quite good -- large and meaty, without being dripping with grease. There's enough diversity in the menu that you will find plenty of options to suit your tastes. Choosing a neighborhood sports pub is a very personal decision, and everyone has their own criteria for what makes one place better than another. The folks that were seated around the bar and yucking it up with the bartender are clearly regulars and big fans of PTSG. They have lots of drink specials and live music throughout the week, and they stay open till 3am each night.

We decided to slip in and try a little Tuesday night treat. Ask for Brittany, she was bright, well informed, seem to enjoy us as much as we enjoyed her. The food was delicious and served quick. The beverages were ice cold and always coming before we needed them.

I have been here at all times from 4pm to 2am. The food is always perfectly done, how I've ordered it. I make up stuff from items on the menu, which can b confusing, but this place is excellent. I always use the bartenders. They remember my name, even when I haven't been there in 9 months. Really great service and lovely, spirited bartenders.

Plenty of big screens to watch the game. Individual speakers at each table, if u get one. I came late in the first quarter of a home game...sat in a corner by a golf game... I got the fried mushrooms (reheated frozen version) and 10 wings honey/garlic. Wings come with 4-5 stick celery and ranch/Blu...they were cooked great, but flavorless. Ordered a side of hot sauce, was ok. Glad I tried it, but won't be back.

So me and my best friend went here for the nfl kickoff game. We are both experienced servers and bartenders, so we understand if you're busy but also can be very critical when it comes to certain things. We walked in no one greeted us at all servers walked by looked at us and kept walking. A nice guest told us we could seat ourselves, so we did. We sat for about 20 minutes, we finally asked a server who walked by if we could get some menus and apologized for abruptly stopping her. She said oh let me see who's section you're in you might be in mine. The host came back in a few minutes with menus and we continue to sit for about ten minutes. A different server noticed we had been sitting and stopped by and asked if we had been helped, we replied no we had not and we would be happy if we could just get a drink and asked her about the specials. She told us about them and was very nice and cordial. We told her we wanted the beer and wing special, the original server who we asked for menus came and said "what flavor you want for the wings?!" In a very rude manor we had a couple more questions since we had never been there but didn't want to bother her. We gave her a simple order, and she said "oh sorry you waited forever for a drink or whatever" like extremely rude like we were burden. I pointed out we were the only table that was only girls and that she was quick to be all over the all male tables to my friend. I promise we will tip much better than most of these douchebags if you just treat us right. We got the beer and wings and they were all alright. This experience would have been MUCH better if the server whoever it would have turned everything around. All we needed was a simple honest apology and some friendly conversation. I have never wrote any review this long or detailed but the reviews are great on this place and this is why we chose it. Never again.

Awesome wings. Drink specials vary from night to night. Service was OK, but wings are great. Especially if you order them Extra crispy

I took my girlfriend here last night. I had already eaten. I ordered a margarita on the rocks with heavy salt. The bartender didn't have margarita mix, so the drink tasted so bad, the waitress took it back. My girlfriend decided to just order a few appetizers. She ordered the fried mushrooms, wings and sea basa fingers. The waitress returned to ask her what kind of salad dressing to go on her salad. They brought the salad and the fried mushrooms first. My girlfriend was pleased with the salad, and of course, we shared the appetizers. Although the fried mushrooms were freshly made, the batter was like cardboard. The horse radish sauce was less than desirable. They brought the wings out next. They were average for wings, and flavorful, but not as meaty as I remembered. Then they brought out the sea basa. This is where our dining experience became interesting. My girlfriend ordered the sea basa fingers off the appetizer menu, but she received the sea basa dinner. It was accompanied on a bed of rice, with broccoli florets. We let the waitress know she wanted the sea basa fingers and the waitress told us she was training, and apologized. She volunteered to take care of the mix up, but my girlfriend told her not to worry. We ate the sea basa and it was fantastic! It was blackened perfectly, and the broccoli florets were very tasty. The mistake of the sea basa caused this experience to be great. The waitress was very attentive, so I give them a very strong four stars (more like a four and-a-half).

This is one of the rare times I give five stars. This place is awesome! Some of the best wings you'll find in tampa if you ask me. My favorite hot/garlic wings! now they do have many other good items to pick from but I'm a sucker for their meaty juicy wings! The atmosphere is laid back good spot to just chill or play some pool. They have a cool juke box witch stays busy few arcade games etc... They also have good outdoor seating and a few televisions for you smokers. Definitely a good spot to watch any game or ufc fight big screens surround the whole bar. Really I have no complaints here at all. I've been going to primetime for well over 10 years and I'll always keep going back. Rather I just want a drink or some good food/wings this is my spot. The manager of primetime is very professional as well. Quick to step in when help is needed unlike most places you go to. If your from out of town and looking for the bar/wing/sports bar this is the place. If your a local you already know what I'm talking about.

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered their new salad and loved it. My husband had a club sandwich which he could change about to his taste. He loved the home made chips. Anytime a restaurant brings me a big glass of tea and has limes to put in it, I consider it a winner. We will sure make this sports bar a regular on our where to go on North Dale Mabry. As they say in soccer,"GOAL!!!!!!"

I've been in Tampa for about 1 year and 4 months now and I have been on a chicken wing hunt during my stay. I've been to a handful of places since living here and this is the first place I have given 4 stars for their wings. I ordered the teriyaki wings for my girlfriend and I ordered the hot garlic wings for myself. The hot garlic wings were not overwhelmingly hot. The garlic was not overpowering. It was just the right balance between the two. The teriyaki wings were very tasty as well. The wings were not drenched in sauce, so this gave them the perfect sauce/meat ratio. They were seasoned before being sauced which adds to the awesomeness of them. I will be back, but I'm still on my search for my 5 star wings!

Lunch Hadn't been here in years....Why? I cant remember. No real reason, other than its a bit farther from my house than I normally go for sports bar type food. Glad I went back! Their Cheeseburger is still very very good. Fresh meat, flavorful and cooked just right! I had forgot how much I liked their chicken wings too. Nothing fancy, just in medium sauce, but they were plump, juicy and very large! They have lots of tvs, a good sized bar and plenty of tables for dinning. Great place to catch a game, go after your game, bring a group or just meet a buddy for lunch!

3.5 stars Everyone else reviewing this place gave it 5 stars for the wings, but if you are not a wing man or woman (Ha!) then my review may be more helpful. If you're in the area and you need a place to grab a decent meal, I would suggest coming here. They've got quite an assortment of items on their menu. However, I probably wouldn't set out to dine here (But I just personally don't prefer bar food). But with that, we were pretty happy with our meal. They have an excellent french fries selection for your sandwich order (regular fries, curly fries, and sweet potato fries). The grilled fish sandwich was good but a bit salty. The Black and Bleu burger was excellent tasting, but the meat was over cooked (asked for medium and it came out well done). Service was very friendly. Beer was cold. And they now have Stella Cidre for all you cider-loving folks.

Aw gross My wife found a hair in her sandwich. Told the Manager about it....she was sorry about something about it. Took just the sandwich off the tap and replaced with another sandwich. Just not happy about founding something like that in the first place Never coming back to this place when my Wife and I are in town for her parents.

Went in today to watch the playoffs. My boyfriend took me in there, he told me he used to go in there all the time and have fun with his friends, thinking we would have a good time and eat good food. When we were sat at the booth we took off our jackets, just to put them right back on, the air was on so high that the napkins hanging out of the dispenser were blowing. When our server came over to greet us, she never told us her name or talked about the Sunday football specials. We ordered bottled beers and appetizers. The nachos were lackluster and you could taste the freezer burn on the jalapeno poppers. After we finished our appetizers, I ordered a soda, and only half of our dirty plates were removed. Finally, I had to stock pile everything else so the server would see it and come to get them. After I ordered another soda for my boyfriend, I let her know we would be ordering food soon, she wasn't very attentive and I didn't want her to stop coming over because we ordered sodas. I never saw her again... After sitting at the table and watching the game for an hour and twenty minutes after I ordered the last soda, another server came over to offer me refills and tell us that she didn't know she was given our table. Our server was sent home and we were forgotten about. She then brings us our check, which is ridiculous, I was ignored for over an hour and still have to pay full price. She then brings us free drink cards, guess what, we won't be coming in to use those. Then one of the managers comes over, sits next to me in our booth, totally unprofessional. She then tells me that she is so sorry over and over again, while continuing to place the blame on everyone but her. This was absolutely on of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.
