I don't feel at home at this Pita's location like I do at the one on Fowler, but the older guy that works here (I'm not sure whether or not if he is the manager) is very nice. He forgot to give me the potato salad I ordered with my combo and gave me two of them the next time I went. (I originally posted this review on 4/11/14 on yelp.com/biz/pitas-repub… which I later found out is a duplicate of this page)

Firstly 2.5 stars. As you walk in if you don't see the middle aged guy then do yourself a favor and walk out. If he is working everything is great, and put together well. As for when you walk in, and no one is behind the counter but some punk ass little kid sitting in a booth gives you the stink eye, that is your sign to leave. I walked into this scenario a few weeks ago. As I stood awkwardly by the "order here" sign dangling from the ceiling, I couldn't help notice the pubescent mean mugging me from a nearby booth where he was sitting with a friend. He got up after a minute or so then walked around the back, he then called his friend up to the counter, where he continued to show his friend something on his phone. He finally acknowledged that indeed I am still waiting to order. I did, paid, and then went to fill my drink cup. I didn't think about it then but I am pretty sure that kid didn't wash his hands before making my food because it was done in record time. Now I am all for expedited service, however this was problematic this day. My wrap was already ripped on the sides, loosely rolled and seemed extremely sloppy. Since this was the case I found myself in need of a fork. The fork dispenser was empty which meant I had to interrupt that poor chap who had found his way back to the booth. All in all poor work ethic and attitude from the guy, which I could overlook at a fast casual place like this if I had got a quality meal like I do when the other guy is working.

Ordered feta supreme. Delicious! My son had the childs pizza. Simple but good for him. Not too much stuff for him to pick off.

I guess my biggest issue with this place is the bad service. Always a teenager with a bad attitude or someone who is completely incompetent. However, the pitas and wraps are always spot on. So as long as you don't mind feeling like the fact that your chicken pita order is a huge inconvenience to the one working the front, this place is pretty good.

I have only ordered two things from here...a chicken pita and a Greek salad. Not the best I have had, but certainly not the worst. But It is consistent, and that counts for something! And the trio loves it so an extra star for that!

For starters, the place was empty and you have to ring a bell to get service. That should have been my first clue on expectations. Place is dirty. Food is alright, but I won't be returning.

I love that their food is fresh, nothing is fried and it is good. Gyro salad or sandwich both winners with me.

I ordered the greek salad with chicken, but it wasn't good as I thought.

Had the falafel and hummus pita, great flavor and super filling. Awesome alternative to an unhealthy burger and fries. Hubby had chicken Caesar and 7 y/o had the chicken n rice. Everyone was happy n full after the meal. The owner who served us was a nice guy. Good experience overall.

As a vegetarian, I was pleased to find that they had a decent number of vegetarian options. The Hummus-n-Veggie Pita is my favorite. The pitas are large and very filling. The Spinach Pie is also delicious. The staff is friendly and always prepares my order quickly. Pita's Republic is quickly becoming one of my go-to favorites.

Pretty disappointing. I haven't been here before, and I wanted to try it out. I was excited to see the prices were pretty decent, and I love pita bread. I ordered the low carb chicken with avocado and cheese. The pita was ultra thin and fell apart instantaneously. It was all over the place. The flavor of the chicken was kind of weird. I thought hmm, maybe he put curry in it. I don't know. I also ordered a spinach pie side. It was a small size but it was fine. that was probably the better of the two. Nothing special here. I will go down the street to Hungry Greek for my pita fix. Stinks bc this place is right across the street from where I work.

Pretty decent on the whole, menu items are made to order, pita makers are always happy to oblige your requests.... But sometimes the meats/tofu are dry from sitting in a warmer because some are not grilled fresh to order and my pita gets soggy and runny by the end....the tastes are lovely, though! I've not had a bad thing and don't mind eating here, but wish there was a Pita Pit.

I am Pitas lover. I have a location close to my home that I go to often. This location doesn't measure up I am sad to say. The staff was very friendly and helped me right away. I highly modify one of their meals, due to a strict diet, and the staff was very accommodating and willing to make my Gyro and Feta salad how I wanted it. Everything tasted great. The reason I only gave this location three stars is, it could be cleaner. Nothing major, but a good scrubbing is in order. I noticed bits of paper on the ground, things needed to be refilled, counters needed to be wiped down, etc. I hope they read this review and take care of these things. I am sure I will go back and I would love to update my review.

I love Pita Republic, but this location is awful. The people who work here are not friendly at all and the customer service is poor. They take your order and make the food in a way like you are disturbing them. And the food is not even close to the quality at other location.

My favorite pita in Tampa bay hands down!! Their white sauce is also the best I've ever had! I've tried every pita and wrap on their menu and love them all!! My favorites are the Greek feast, the supreme pita and the tex-mex!! If you've never tried this place definitely check it out!!
