I ate here for lunch based off the recommendation of a co-worker. I've never heard of it before so I didn't know what to expect, as far a quality. But, I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED OVERALL! This place is easy to overlook because it's in a small shopping plaza adjacent to The Container Store. Luckily, there's ample parking in front. (That is always a bonus) When I walked in, I didn't expect to see so many people inside!! I placed a "to go" order online but I immediately wished I hadn't!! The decor was nice, chic, and cozy. Your food is delivered right to your table, although this isn't a formal dining "restaurant." Just to get a feel for it, it's like an upgrade from Panda but not quite P.F. Chang's. Perfect for the lunch crowd, in the area I work in. On top of all that, the FOOOD WAS FANTASTIC!!!!! I ordered a Wasabi Crunch roll, spicy tuna roll and Thai Chicken Lettuce wraps. ALLL GREAT!!!! Not to mention, my order was ready when I walked in the door and still warm when I got back to the office to eat it. I love the order online feature! I think more places should utilize it!! It just makes it convenient when you don't have a full hour to blow for lunch. I can see myself becoming a regular here. I saw so much good looking food sitting on the tables and going past on the way to the tables. What I had was so good, it makes me want to try more!!

Cool concept. Okay sushi, bland main dish. Fast, affordable, but the food tastes like it's straight out of a box... Because it is

Chinese and Thai Asian Fusion by PF Chang's for half the price? Sign me up! Came here with coworkers one day as this is conveniently close to the office next to international mall off westshore next to the Lime which is also great for Mexican. This is one of those casual in between restaurants like Tijuana flats or the Lime where you place your order and they bring you your food. Line to place your order was out the door. We were able to get to the register to place our order surprisingly quickly, grabbed some hot sauces and soy sauce, and they brought us our food when it was ready within 6 minutes. We shared the crab Rangoon for the appetizer and it was great. I had the pad thai shrimp medium spicy and added extra spices. The small plate is $7 and large plate is $10. The small is more than enough for lunch. The large is really enough for a 2nd meal or to split. It was pretty good for the price, maybe a little different and with thinner noodles than Royal Thai Palace, but they also charge close to double at $16 so it's a great value for what it's worth. My coworker on a staunch caveman paleolithic no carb diet had the minced chicken lettuce wrap which you can also get at PF Chang's but for $6 and he liked it. My other coworker had the large Kung pao steak rice bowl for $8 which has some kick to it and he liked it. They also have honey seared chicken, Dan Dan spicy chicken noodle bowl which I'll have to try another time. This isn't a full service restaurant but the people were friendly and the food came out in a timely fashion. For that reason, this really isn't a good place to bring a date. We were in and out in hour though! Came back for dinner once and it was pretty dead. This place has more of a lunch following. There is plenty of parking available. Will be back again soon!

Good food & service I expect from every location. Not very busy in the evening. I suspect it has a big lunch crowd.

Very good! I had never even heard of this place, but the reviews led me in. Very satisfied, as the food was delicious and the restaurant itself was very clean. Will definitely be coming back. I had the Pei Wei chicken, Spicy Original.

The concept of fast but very good asian food has not failed this business model. I travel the nation working and often eat out and pei Wei is a go to place for consistent quality food. You can't go wrong here.

I've only been here once and WOW! This is the inexpensive version of P.F. Chang. It's a nice atmosphere and great food! I'd recommend this place to anyone!

That guy insulting the Mongolian beef is completely wrong! I always get extra steak and sauce. It is amazing with white rice. This is not the only great thing on the menu. The crab Rangoon and traditional lettuce wraps are very tasty. It's a cheaper alternative to PF changs and keeps the same quality. Keep up the good work!

I don't normally like chains, but this location is a good one. The service is attentive, and lunch is always quick.

I've been always a fan of Pei Wei and I love there variety of dishes. I love their paid thai and now you can order small or large serving. Unless you are that hungry small size would just be fine and maybe there still be left over. That day that I visited this place they were not busy at all and the they were fast which I always love if the service is fast. The place were clean and tidy. The smell of fresh cooked food is in the air.

The crab rangoon was so good. It's made with REAL crab, a little cream cheese, and the sauce is fruity sweet not sugary, and fresh. The spicy tuna sushi roll was delicious and the Kung Pao chicken was literally the best I have ever tasted. The texture and flavors matched so well and complimented each other so nicely. The only negative things I can say about the place is it feels too much like chipotle. You order before you get to the table and it has the same layout. Also, it is just as loud as chipotle if not louder but worth it for the food. I wish there was a Pei Wei in Cincinnati that I could take friends to. I think they'd love this place.

When a first experience is as awkward as this one and you don't come home with what you ordered, it cannot be anything above two stars. This despite the food tasting pretty good, so my complaint is certainly not with the people in the kitchen here. I've been using more online ordering since it is for people like me who like take out, and the Pei Wei website was not bad in terms of navigation, customization and convenience. However, something specific to one of my items was not in my bag when I arrived at home and that just shows someone is not paying attention. I'm 97% sure that someone was the employee I interacted with when I arrived to pick up my food, because she just seemed frustrated or pissed off. At one point, she told the only other employee working behind the counter, "Hey, you need to talk to this guy" when referring to a man to my left who had some sort of an issue with what was on his receipt. That just put the other employee in the same frustrated or pissed off state of mind while a lady stood right next to me for at least five minutes without even being greeted. Simple deduction of body language gave me little confidence that my order would be correct, and I was right. Yet, since this was my first Pei Wei visit, how was I to know what was in those boxes in my bag and what was missing? Granted, I do like those places that show and identify everything AS they put it in your bag but the majority do not. There were not any smiles, greetings or thank you's either. Just what's your name, here's what you owe and here's your order. Or at least most of it. Get it together, Pei Wei. My recent take out experiences at one place to your left (Lime) and one place to your right (The OG) were both flawless and friendly. This plaza is very convenient to my condo, so those places clearly have a significant edge for my future business.

I generally like this place. Years ago I went to one another state. So, I am glad to see them open in Tampa. I love the fact that there are no long waits even on the weekends and the meals are freshly made. It is always delicious. My one complaint is that they only make their sushi rolls once a day. So when they run out, that's it. I have been waiting to try the Manga California roll but they are always out. I guess you have to get there by lunch time.

Came again and decided to get something different. I had the mongolian steak. If you like real mongolian beef, don't get this. It's super salty and just not what Mongolian is supposed to taste like. I ate most of my beef but I couldn't finish the rice, with the sauce it was wayyy to salty. I wouldn't ever get that again...Kind of disappointed... :(

This place was delicious, fast, and it didn't claim to be anything it's not. There were enough options on the menu that in the 3 weeks I stayed in the area, I only got the same thing twice, and then only because it was so delicious.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
