Panera is a well-known national chain serving pastries, breakfast sammies, and baked goods with coffee, tea, and cocoa in the mornings; and then soups, salads, and sammies with more baked goods later in the day. This particular Panera Bread has opened in Town N Country along Waters Avenue and adjacent to the Veteran's Expressway. You'll find Panera in a space that was formerly a Mexican restaurant, and then an Asian buffet, and finally torn down and rebuilt from the dirt up. Panera sits right in front of Lowe's, and in the same shopping center with Chick-fil-A, Target, an office supply store, and everyone's favorite place to get your driver's license and auto tags renewed. Since they tore down the previous structure, Panera was able build from scratch, to include a drive-up window which makes this place super convenient if you want to pull-through to get a bite to eat or a quick drink. There's also a private parking lot just off of Waters, and you have your choice of eating inside at booths or tables, or outside at their patio café tables. There's also a section with lots of seating for people who want to use their free WiFi while studying, chatting with their friends, or doing a bit of business work. I had a smoked turkey panini with a cup of French onion soup, and happily chomped away while catching up on some emails. This will quickly become a popular breakfast and lunch spot for me.

I a regular at Panera chain but mainly coz its 2 mins from work. I've never been to this location. I actually never knew it existed. I really like the new layouts they have. There is a ton of seating inside and their outside dining area is so pretty, considering the view is a parking lot and the street. We went on a late Saturday night and was quickly taken care of. We had 2 pick 2s. I had french onion soup and Cobb with avocado salad. The soup was on the salty side and the salad they put in a lot of dressing and it was very salty and sour. So note to self get dressing on the side. He got a panini and Fuji apple salad. I liked his salad better maybe it's that the herb vinegarette is just sour. The Fuji Apple has a white balsamic apple vinegarette and is very tasty. I ended it with a flip flop cookie because well it was 99cents and neon green! Sugar cookie was very good not too sweet and not too bland.

Grand opening today. Great to have in T n C. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hostess fantastic. The power breakfast sandwichs' are tasty and below 500 calories. The egg, cheese and ham power sandwich only 340 calories. If in the area this place should be on ur list. Remember this is their first day and they hit a home run with me,

Yes this is a chain joint, and yes that may mean they microwave their stuff, but honestly its so tasty i don't really care sometimes....but mostly i come here to study. This is a great place to meet up with friends and get some studying in together. Quiet environment with good lighting and food/drinks when you need it. Its always clean when i come here and it always smells good. The worker here are nice and don't get in the way of my work. All in all good place for coffee, food and friends.

Panera Bread is usually a good alternative to the stereotype fast food restaurant. They offer a wide assortment of sandwiches, salads, soups and a wide variety of baked goods. They are also open for breakfast offering jot sandwiches, muffins, coffee, tea.... I have been twice now once for breakfast and once for lunch. I must say both visits were very underwhelming & disapointing. I felt like I was revisiting yesterday's food on the lunch visit. On the breakfast visit, I should have at least checked my order before I left, as the cheese was missing. But, even with the cheese missing, there was no seasoning and overall no flavor. There is no reason to go on with this depressing review. I guess I might try another location, but with a large chain like this, I really don't see what the difference would be. The pastries & goodies looked and smelt sinfully delicious, but I did not try them. Did I mention, I feel they are overpriced for their mass produced food? What's a girl to do? Keep experimenting with new restaurant's till you are satisfied.

Let me preface this by saying that Panera Bread is usually one of my favorite restaurants. I've been to this location twice since it opened. The first was on their grand opening when corporate was still there, so to judge it from that would be misleading. However, on my most recent visit I was a little disappointed. Panera always has small portions and normally, I'm fine with it, but this last visit to this location I felt robbed. There were two of us and we both got the you-pick-two. The salad was less than a handful of lettuce, chicken, and toppings and the cup of soup was half of the cup it was in. A quick look around the room showed that it seemed like everyone's portions were smaller than usual. The quality of the food was Panera standards, I just felt as though they weren't giving adequate portions in comparison with other Panera Breads that I have been to.

Panera with a drive-thru! I rarely eat "fast food", but this was the closest to work with the healthiest options. I ordered the power chicken salad with hummus and was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the large, with hopes to have the rest for a snack later. No chance. The portion size for a large salad, for $9.00, was really quite small. The salad and hummus were great though.

Brand new location and it's fantastic! Great service and food--their bakery selection of fresh breads and pastries is wonderful.

I will start this review by saying that I'm not a big fan of the Panera chain. I was a huge fan of the much better tasting Atlanta Bread Co., but since Panera had a cuter name it won the "bread, salad soup chain" battle and put Atlanta bread out of business. I don't hate Panera, but I only come for a few items and Panera is still better than going to a burger joint for lunch. Misses: -Broth Bowls aren't flavorful -muffin tops for what? Real muffin tops have the crispness on the edges...these look like little flying saucer cakes. -missing key cream cheese flavors for bagels Hits: -This location is new and clean -fast drive thru -as with all Panera locations, the bagels are decent I prefer Crispers for soups and salads...this is closer to me.

very clean panera bread location located right off the veterans highway. nice sets of patio tables and chairs in the front of the store really stood out to me as it actually made me want to come back again (when it becomes a little more cooler outside) to enjoy an iced coffee while stealing their free wifi on their tables. i could totally see myself chillaxing here if i ever needed to study as the environment was totally welcoming and clean. they even have a clear glass to separate the parking lot from the outside eating portion which was also a nice addition. ive tried alot of things on their menu in multiple occasions, but what i really enjoy the most is their you pick two paired with their smoked house turkey panini mixed with the asian sesame salad. when we ordered our food, it came out fast hot & quick. cant ask for more from a chain!

Panera use to be my go to lunch spot! I use to love their Tomato & Mozzarella on there signature ciabatta bread they use to put it on. I asked the desk to change the bread because it was on some wrap and they told me they no longer have ciabatta bread. So I will no longer be eating here unless it's for soup!
