Yummy strong espresso. My favorites are the pressed chicken sandwich, the Cuban and their homemade egg breakfast with FRESH pressed orange juice. My kids like the Cuban and the breakfast foods. Satisfying, great taste in a coffee shop atmosphere at a great price. Good value! The place is clean, and service friendly.

Great local flavors & service. They are only open for breakfast & lunch. Breakast, I have never had a bad meal or sandwich. Service is always friendly, efficient & friendly. I love the breakfast sammies on Cuban bread and breakfast overall. I have only tried the Cuban for lunch, & in my humble opinion, I have had many that are better, in our fair city. For me, breakfast is where it is at! It is always, pleasant, delicious, hot & at a very fair price, with great , quick service. What's a girl to do? Love breakfast & go back!

A bit disappointing in view of a long-time rep as a great neighborhood cafe with primo Cuban Sandwiches. I have had their Cubans to go......unfortunately dressed with lettuce & tomato so that the bread was limp, almost soggy. Eating there at the sparse tables was not much better other than having good pressed bread....unfortunately the devil crabs I ordered were also very dry and low on crabmeat. The high point was the well seasoned & stewed black beans on rice (sampled on a Good Friday when meatless option were rare) Overall not terrible and popular with some regulars, including several viejos who spend hours sipping cafe and resolving world problems on the shady side of the building on most mornings.

I had a fantastic cuban sandwich here and the atomsphere is what you would expect from a little sandwich shop. The service was great and be advised they are only open for lunch. The food is really really cheap and great. I recommend the Cuban and Medianoche sandwich if you make it in.

No frills, delicious and cheap. Can't be more authentic. The Cuban sandwich is well made with cuban bread and the soups taste homemade. Order the cafe con leche!

Classic, bonafide, model Cuban joint. These places in West Tampa are part of our soul and are a must-try for visitors and if you're local, get off your routine and show these places some respect.

Amazing cuban sandwiches. The meat is soft and succulent. I tried the medianoche, which is what my friends swear by at this place. It was very good. We had take-out, so I can't comment on the dine in experience.
