Hooters definitely has my favorite wings. Their breaded wings (I like them hot) are full of flavor and go great with a draft.

Nothing spectacular. Just plain old hooters food. This particular hooters is always pack with customers. Parking is limited. Make sure to go there early. Service is descent

Horrible! I took my husband to lunch and I thought we ordered a typical entree of 10 wings, fries, & sodas. Our waitress was pleasant, but scatter brained. It took at least 15 to 20 minutes for our order to get there and when it did, it was just my husband's food. The waitress said mine was still being tossed. Another 5 minutes goes by and my wings appear, but still no fries. The waitress then says "Oh, they're still cooking." which makes me think the kitchen manager has no idea what he's doing since every part of our order came out one at a time. We asked for refills of our sodas while we waited and eventually those showed up via a VERY frowny and disinterested waitress who looked pissed off she had to bring them to us. Eventually our fries got to the table but by then I wasn't feeling good about this lunch and we paid our check and left. To top it all off, I'm writing this from our bathroom because I haven't been able to budge since eating that horrid lunch. Never. Going. Back. Winghouse will be my new wing spot!

I am a really big fan of Hooters and I usually love this one. However, today my daughter and I visited around noon and were seated at a dirty table. No one took the initiative to help clean it, even when they saw me wiping crumbs from it. Our waitress was lacking in personality. She was auto programmed to ask the usual questions and seemed more concerned with standing at the front door with the rest of the wait staff while waiting for the place to fill up. The food was great as usual. I just wish the server was more personable. I know they live on tips, but if you expect a good tip, please be a little more attentive. She only had us and one more table. No reason to ignore and act robotic.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! My husband and I went to the Lightning game on 4/18/14. We got to Channelside early around 4:30-5:00. We have tried a few times to get in to Hooters, but it's always busy. We got on the list early to be told it was going to be a 25-30 min wait. OK, the hostess spelled the name wrong, but that's normal. When time went on, it got busy so I moved near the hostess stand so I could hear the names called. I noticed that we were the next party of 2 (1st available) The hostess took other parties in, I kind of looked at her puzzled, She finally calls our name. I moved in front of her and she says "hold on a sec". She walked in, walked around, and walked out again. Then she calls parties after us. Then another party of 2. At that point I questioned her, she said she never called us. I showed her on the list where she skipped us and took parties 10-12 spaces down. We were never marked off. She sat there and just looked at us, and said "She never called us". Now I understand people with Children, or people with special needs. But this was not the case at all. She was picking and choosing who she wanted to seat. We were not the only ones. Very nice how you treat your customers. We walked up and had dinner at the Forum.

The Hooters manager of this location has claimed that this location is independently owned and not affiliated with the true Hooters restaurants. Based on the quality of waitresses number one we must believe them. Based on the quality of food we know this must be a fact. First, the very "uninformed" help named Heather C. who took our order got nothing about it correct except celery and the fact we ordered some sort of chicken wings. She failed to listen, or possibly failed to understand, we ordered naked, hot, drums and 50 of them... We received breaded wings and drums with no sauce...Driving 20 minutes each way to get them the first time THEN to go back to exchange them for the hot, naked drumettes we ordered, we received what this location claimed to be "Hot Sauce"... Five of my family members were tasting these and not one recognized this disgusting "oil" they called sauce as anything we had ever tasted at ANY other Hooters in the United States. As the manager informed us, this not owned by the original Hooters and they use their own sauces, IF YOU ARE A TRUE FAN OF HOOTERS NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! Ever!!!

I'm not a big hooters fan, but my husband received a gift card for Christmas so we went today for a late lunch. It was after 2:30pm when we got there so there weren't very many people in the restaurant. We were seated right away and we ordered two beers. It took over five minutes to get two beers. Not exactly something that takes a long time to prepare. Then we ordered two hamburgers with fries. Twenty minutes later (I timed it on a stopwatch on my phone) the food was delivered. The burgers were ok, but the fries were nice and old and cold. It just felt like we were bothering our waitress with our being there are taking her time away from...whatever. Again, never been a big hooters fan and with this incident, I won't be back. Just-OK food and bad service isn't something that I'm really into.

TRICK to the wings, get them naked! Tried a few shrimp that where breaded... held in way to much grease for me. New wing flavors are good, I tried the garlic parm. Service is always a little off. If our server was a bit more attentive we would have probally had another round of drinks.

Service was super super slow. Food was good but not worth waiting for so long. Especially when you sit there and watch them play around.

Fiancée & I stopped in to watch the Daytona 500 the crowd was decent mix, still a few places to sit. Ordered mozzarella sticks to start & 25 wings all drums well done & crispy for entrees... The wings arrived cold to the touch didn't even take a bite. Sent them back, the kitchen warmed them (microwave) & with in minutes back out they came rubbery of course... I let her know I still displeased but to hungry to continue to wait. The waitress seemed unconcerned but was great on keeping our drinks refilled. Manager didn't visit the table, & no compensation was offered. Next time Brandon Ale House it is.

Ok after my last review the manager contacted me and graciously offered me an apology and asked if i would be willing to try again, So we did today. First off our waitress was Heather and she was an absolute pleasure, she was attentive and courteous and extremely polite. My wife had the fish tacos which she enjoyed she also had the orange shorts margarita which she also enjoyed My daughter and i each ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, we both enjoyed them the chicken was hot and the bun toasted perfectly. our only complaint is we both thought it needed more sauce on the chicken breast. fries where hot and again the blue cheese was really good.. so overall a total 180 degree turn around from our last visit, if service and quality stays this way we will come back thanks

Agree with other reviews that mentioned that the sauces here are terrible. Ordered a buffalo chicken quesadilla, it was pretty good but the "hot" sauce tasted like oil. Aside from the sauce miss, it was your standard Hooter's experience.

My last experience at this Hooters wasn't quite the best. However, in my opinion, everything deserves a second chance. My most recent experience was a complete 360 compared to my last time. The food was delicious, service was speedy and Naomi took excellent care of us.

Where do I start? We've been a fan of this Hooters for many years, sixteen years for sure. Visit last week was the final however. We eat out frequently (about 7 meals a week) for years when the girls were little every Thursday night the eight of us (four grand parents, parents, and two girls) would meet at Hooters for dinner. A few years ago when everyone got very busy my wife and I continued the practice. Then things started to change. First no French dressing for our salad. Then the Blue cheese dressing became just a watery sloppy kind of gruel. Service got rather sporadic but seldom really bad. We cut back on our attendance substantially but each time we went it seemed small changes had occurred that were unpleasant.. Last week was nothing exceptional except the food in total was bad. They were out of several of the salad dressings we requested, the Blue cheese dressing was very watered down, the fries had been re-fried at least once, the wings were dried out and had been dipped several times also. It is apparent to me that this Hooters has been sold in the last few years to someone who believes that the way to make money in this business is to skimp in the kitchen. Let the accountants direct the activity. I think that without a change in ownership or general manager this one is not worth the effort.

My wife and I ordered a couple chicken sandwiches tonight. When we called in we were told 15 minutes. Perfect we are just about 15 minutes away. 15 minutes turned into 25 a 25 minute ticket time. As I have seen in other reviews parking is a total mess at this location. They designate To-Go parking but eat in customers get tired of looking for a space and just use the To-Go parking. Can't blame them but does not lend to easy pick up for other customers. We were not impressed with the quality of chicken in our sandwiches. The only way I can describe it is stringy and sponge like. Strange texture.

Due to the service, this is the worst experience at Hooters I have ever had. A friend and I were not acknowledged when we went in. We seated ourselves because it wasn't too busy. After 10 min we had to flag a young lady down to order a beer. Finally, got that and that was the last we were talked to. Didn't ask if we were ordering food. Didn't ask how we were doing. Nothing. I will not be going back there that is for sure.

It's hard to understand what Hooters sells lol But the wings are ok. Service just ok. Food is ok, Nothing out of this world. I guess is the combination of things that makes this place popular, which makes sense if you just want to hang out with friends and have a beer with some snacks, Not precisely a dinning experience.

  • Mike S.

OK for wings, but not the best available in my opinion. Even the copy-cat Wing House does a comparable job, and also offers the formula of young female servers in minimal covering offering good cheer and ample beer. Not surprisingly, tables of guys buying lots of beer and tipping well get the most attentive service but you also see families in for a wing fix. I suppose we should patronize Hooters because it originated locally like Outback and a few other chains that have gone national. And clearly, their formula has spawned lots of wanna-be almost-clones. But they also repel some (mostly female) customers with their formula. So I will take a sorta non-combatant position...I will munch on good but not excellent wings while staring at waitress displays when dragged there by buddies, but not seek out such ogling on my own.

The only reason we go to this Hooters because of the location. It is close to work and our apartments. The food itself is fine, standard for Hooters. But the service is always terrible. The servers mess up orders, leave beers empty for 15 minutes, and are bit attentive. They may need better training or more staff to help.

  • Hans N.

At first service was a little slow I'd say. Second time I went there they were freaking awesome! Food and drinks in no time, friendly service, and good quality. And they have Heineken! You can't go wrong with their boneless wings. It was kind of busy but I was in and out in half hour. Just the way I like it. Keep it up Hooters!

Very friendly and quick service. The walls around the booths need some major wiping down and cleaning but generally good. Easy in to parking.

Not my favorite place to eat but sometimes you just want a cold beer and wings, when presto, Hooters was right in front of us. So in we went. I've eaten at mant Hooters (hubby loves it!) and although this is not my fav (Mesa Arizona is) the girls were nice, service was quick, food so-so and beer was cold. This is one of those ya know what your getting when you go there kinda places. Wings have gotten quite small I noticed...but otherwise..was what I was expecting!

  • Jeff H.

How can this place charge extra for salad dressing? If given enough in the first place - wouldn't need more. And a pregnant waitress? We came to Hooters to see Hooters - not a pregnant waitress. Kinda killed the visit!

Update: There was no PM from Leah. Seems like the staff is more interested on playing with their phones than assisting customers, but ultimately, this is a management issue. I waited 6 months for that personal message to come through, Leah. Now, my updated review give one less star due to your bluff. Once a good chain, Hooters has plummeted in food quality, and service.

Arrived pretty early just as they were opening. Waitress very attentive and prompt with service. Fried pickles very good but sauce pretty spicy. Very good but just not prepared for it to be that spicy. Our table ordered steak quesadilla and order got sent out as chicken. Not a big deal but as soon as we told the waitress she was willing to change it. No need as it was very good. Manager also came right over and apologized as well. Also someone got the grouper sandwich which he said was delicious but too big and messy to eat with your hands so out came the fork and knife. The other couple got chili and wings with sauce on the side. Chili was good and not too spicy. Wings looked good with barbecue sauce and a mild sauce. They did say the mild sauce was pretty bland. The raspberry ice tea is on tap and apparently was very good. I didn't have it but my friend said it was really flavorful. Biggest issue was the wall next to our booth and pictures on the wall. There were smudges of food and grease all over the place like children had played in their food and just smeared the walls. Could use some better cleaning in that area as pretty nasty to look at when eating. They have a specialty hooters salt on tables which had an excellent flavor but a little goes a long way so just use sparingly until you get the desired amount.

Very cool to visit the Original Hooters. This location is centrally located to every possible hotel in the area. I visited on a Friday and it was very busy but not too overwhelming. There was plenty of parking and staff to help. I sat directly at the bar, there were a couple seats and the bartender greeted me immediately. It was great to see that they had OctoberFest on tap already! I ordered the tots for app and some mild chicken wings. Although the wings came out before the apps the service made up for it. I never had to ask for a refill and they were all very attentive. All the games were playing and it was a comfortable atmosphere. Will visit again.

If you have lived in Florida longer than a week and have not eaten at a Hooters, then you are a communist and need to get the hell out of my beloved state. This place is a got-durned institution down here, and y'all need to make your pilgrimage to Clearwater (which is a loser town but w/e) to the original one. The place is gross, but it's your solemn duty as a Floridian to go there. Wear a Guy Harvey shirt and some camo cargo shorts for the True Florida Experience (tm). This partic'lar Hooters on SR60 in Brandon is exactly what you'd expect from the place. Pure Florida, distilled into tacky, ridiculous outfits and fake-friendly servers. Goofy stuff on the walls, mostly pictures of famous rednecks posing with Hooters girls. They will take a picture with you as well if you ask nicely, which is fun to embarrass your friend and/or wife with. They put bags of ice in your beer pitcher to keep 'em cold, and if you finish your frosty adult beverage, your server will pour you another glass. No need to reach across the table, friend! Good wings (breaded/hot is where it's at), and curly fries are awesome. The wife tells me the fried pickles here are great, but pickles are an abomination and I will not ever willingly ingest one.

Great place to visit I have never been a huge fan of the food from other locations but here I must admit the flavor is amazing cooks are on point with their skills. I was here for business for a week and ate here 3 of the 5 nights I was in Tampa. Tish took care of us and always helped to navigate us around town, she always made sure our table was taken care of and never fussed to all our random and late orders (sorry about that Tish we were indecisive) all the staff was polite and courteous. Drinks were fairly priced and quickly served cold. From great food to beautiful women this place is a great stop for any out of towner looking for a place to relax and enjoy some good food get the oysters and ask for Tisch, best server in town.

I seriously wish I could give this place a better review. I worked at a Hooters- like place in Denver and I love the type of Atmosphere, but the server I had was the epitome of unprofessionalism. I went to this Hooters last Sunday to watch the Broncos/49ers game. We ordered food and drink which came out in a timely manner. We had finished our drinks and we waited about 10 more minutes to see if our server would check on us. Well, she didn't so I went to the bar and got our drinks within a minute ( I paid cash). About 30 minutes later, we were ready for another round.... No server again. So I go back to the bar and get another round.... Get it within a minute again ( paid cash again). Our server finally appears and with the most stuck up attitude.... Most servers would be apologetic to the fact that they were not attentive, but she got mad at me. She said with a snotty tone " you can't have a tab with me and the bar!" Well, I did not have a tab at the bar, as I said earlier I had paid cash. We decided to close with her, and then she continued to talk poorly about us as we were sitting there! I did not even want to confront her. I just left cash on the table. Well, luckily for her we tipped 20%- way more than she deserved. We took ourselves to another sports bar to finish the game. Although she was not attentive, my bf and I were not rude to her, not even once. The place was not busy, so there was no excuse for slow service or the horrible demeanor from this employee. This is no reflection on the bartender, she was wonderful. They need more girls like her. With that said, I do not think I will be visiting this hooters again.

Be careful they charge $.85 for extra salad dressing.,.wow. We all have a choice in restaurants, never again for me. Manager had a BAD attitude to boot! Stay away there is much better out there.

Can't go wrong with Hooters. Great service, great wings, great beer. Plenty of TVs to watch your team play!

*** The 1 star is for the non greeting as we walked into the restaurant Saturday from not one, but TWO hostess'. Not only did they NOT say anything to us, they barely made eye contact, so we just walked in and found ourselves a seat. 3 stars for the average food they schlep just like most of the other Hooters.

My Wife and I go to Hooters for wings, Oysters, Clams, Shrimp, and sometimes Crab legs once a month. And beer, don't forget beer. They have awesome prices on pitchers of beer here. We have been to several hooters over the years and this location has the best service. At other Hooters it would be hit or miss on service. But we have never had bad service here. Tip on wings, get them naked (no breading) and get the TMI sauce - double tossed! It's addicting. The fresh oysters are always good as well. Also get the shrimp with the TMI sauce as well.

Way better this time,Hooters! Lauren, the bartender provided excellent service. She was friendly and very personable. Saturday night is when the A Team is working the bar!!

Yes, it's noisy. Yes, it's crowded. Yes, parking at this location is lacking. However, service is good and the original wings are still the best of any chain around.

Ordered to-go because the place was packed. I was staying at the hotel across the street (embassy suites). After a long day of traveling I wanted something quick and close. The food was ok, nothing to rave about but it got the job done! We all know why people go to Hooters and it's not the food.

Hot day, ice cold beer, hot wings, loaded tater tots, seriously, does it get better than this? Had a great lunch, Lexie, our server, was aces.

Fries were cold and the vodka was watered down. I tried Goose and Absolute. Both were watered. By the way, nothing to see either. Try a different Hooters.

I am a huge hooters fan and patron. Wings with three mile island sauce is my staple here. For the most part the girls hustle and are good as servers. But...could you get better people manning the to go station? Try and work on quality control of the orders coming out of the kitchen and in the to go room. But most of all - how about policing up the to go parking spots with ya-hoo's that use the spots as regular parking. Because I love Hooters I will keep coming back...but Ed Droste, do some spot checking now and then.

Typical meal at hooters. Was the first place I saw while driving around looking to eat something for dinner after a long flight from AZ.

I never thought I will be giving any Hooters 2 stars, but the service here is TERRIBLE!

    (2)
  • Carlos H.

Last time I was here the waitress was super rude and the orders came out not so good. The waitress was snobby and messed up our order and kept reminding us about her tip...which made want to tip her even less. The place does have plenty of television which was good for watching the sports game we came to see there, but overall service sucked and food only tasted mediocre.
