Not a bad lunch place. The food is a much better and healthier option than the typical fast food. Nothing is fried. It is usually busy so going a little before lunch rush makes it a better experience. Service is good and the employees are friendly. Overall, this is a good place for lunch.

Yes a good juicy greasy hamburger might taste better than the one here but this one is better for you. The different ketchups are great and the help cares about the place. Im in the restaurant right now. Its Sunday-kids eat free day. Oh no! Great if you have kids though. For each adult meal one kid eats free. Most are bringing in several kids who all seem all wound up and full of energy. Yikes. Between that and this horn in the kitchen going off all the time when something cooking is done can drive one nuts. The area of Tampa this is in is real nice. A few blocks away was an open outdoor once a month market on the first Sunday of the month. I've been in and through Tampa many times and missed these good areas so Im impressed. Wifi is also available and works, Im using it! :) No password required. I also had some prepaid cards I thought would be useless when the Atlanta locations closed and they worked here! Hooray!

I have tried just everything here and its so good! Especially for the healthy options and Veggie Burgers and I love the Salmon burger with Air Fries and Fair Trade Ruby Raspberry Tea. Win!! Oh and for my kids Sundays kids eat free!!

Love Evos. It's nice to have an option for quick and healthy. The greens for their salads are high quality. It makes you feel like you're making a healthy choice... unlike when you buy a salad at McDonald's or the like. AND they have sun-dried tomatoes which makes them alright with me! The customer service tonight was great. He helped my sister pick out her meal- the taco wrap with chicken instead of steak (tasty and healthy post-workout meal), helped me download the mobile app, and provided me with the nutritional info. Don't go too crazy here. Just because it's cooked healthier doesn't mean it's not loaded with calories. Most of it's a safe bet, but the crispy buffalo chicken wrap is not exactly one of their lighter choices.

Evos offers healthy and vegetarian fast food options. Would I come here if I was craving a great burger? No. Would I come here if I was in a time crunch and needed a relatively healthy meal? Yes! The burgers are pretty good and contain naturally raised beef with no hormones or antibiotics. You can even add nitrate-free bacon to your burger. Personally, I prefer the Honey Mesquite Chicken and the salads over the burgers. The two most amazing items on the menu are the air fries and the milkshakes. The air fries are not greasy like fast food fries and Evos offers four different dipping sauces. The milkshakes are homemade and made with low-fat organic milk. I have not tried the veggie burger or vegetarian corn dog since I am not much of a fan of meat substitute products. The food isn't exactly cheap at Evos, but very fairly priced if you consider the cost of grass-fed beef and organic produce. If you are a vegetarian or just trying to eat healthier give Evos a try!

I've loved everything I've gotten from there. "Fast 'food'" isn't something I put my body through. This place really is (real) food fast. If you've seen films like Food Inc, or Forks Over Knives.... You'll be happy to know they claim that their animals don't go through the traditional horrifying living conditions, and don't get pumped full of hormones and other bs. Evos is the only fast food place I'll eat from.

I've given this place a shot on three occasions and finally I have to write. I'm just not impressed. The location is great and the staff is over the top polite. But for all of the hype, the food is just marginal. It's overpriced and flavorless. Give it a shot and see what you think. Perhaps if I didn't have such hopeful expectations I wouldn't have been so disappointed.

Healthy (healthful?) fast food? Yes, please. The meat is great quality & is a nice option somewhere between a McDonald's burger for poor (yet delish) and inexpensive quality and a full fledged 10 dollar burger (sometimes worth it, sometimes not) at a restaurant that you have to wait around for.... Ketchup choices? That's worth the trip alone. Super fun, tasty & good for experimenting through a potentially mundane meal ( with me? never!). Cute patio. Our dog even tries to go there when passing by. He loves Evos, apparently.

I have been wanting to try Evos for awhile and today I finally made it over there. Love that they have healthier options and especially that they have a good amount of vegetarian options. I had their Veggie burger and I wouldn't say it's the best veggie burger I ever had but I would definitely get it again. Also, got the fries--they were a little bland but the different flavored ketchup made up for that (I mean its nice to have a healthier option of fries since they are air-baked). The atmosphere was cute and had a clean fresh look to it. Love the option of eating outside since it fits with the South Tampa atmosphere. Curious to try the veggie corn dog next time!!

I've got to give 5 stars all around for Evos, Why? Because the food is delicious ( and somewhat healthy as far as "Fast food" goes), the service is quick and extremely friendly, and the price is right for what you get. First of all, I've always been impressed by how friendly and happy the workers are (sort of like chick-fil-a employees). Not only do they serve with a smile, but they never give me a hard time when I present a coupon that has expired by a few days (I've done this a couple times and they gladly still accepted it). The salads are fresh and generous in size (my favorite is strawberry walnut gorgonzola) , the wraps come in many different varieties ( my favorite is the turkey avocado), and the air popped fries are the icing on the cake of a delicious meal. Evos continues to be one of the only fast-food establishments I will visit!

I was immediately greeted upon entering the store and everybody on the staff was happy and cheerful. I ordered the steak tacos after a recommendation from the cashier and got an organic chocolate milkshake. All three staff members taught me something I did not know about eating healthy. They overcooked my fries, and instead of just serving them to me like the 17 year old at McDonalds would, they admitted their mistake, comp'd my next meal and gave me a free organic root beer. Great service. I'll wait at extra 5 minutes for my fries ANY DAY for a free meal!!

Yeap 5 stars! I love this place. I always leave this place with full and satisfied belly. Mediterranean summer salad with chicken: chicken, greens, feta, sundried tomatoes, onions, olives, awesome croutons and I always ask for a side of their raspberry vinaigrette. Vinaigrette is off the chain, sweet and tart at the same time. Strawberry walnut Gorgonzola salad with chicken: chicken, greens, strawberries, walnut, Gorgonzola cheese with their raspberry vinaigrette goodness. Unlike other restaurants, they give so much Gorgonzola, thank you Evos for not stinging on the cheese. Air fries: yummy baked fries, no other description needed. They have a ketchup bar which is so awesome. Original, cayenne, mesquite and garlic. Mesquite and garlic are my fave. Cappuccino shake: organic low-fat ice cream with roasted coffee. OMG soo good, very similar to Starbucks fraps but lower in fat and sugar. As you can tell, I am a big fan of this place :)

  • Christopher M.

The food was great for fast food, and it's also healthy. The French fries and chicken aren't fried. I know organic doesn't necessarily mean healthy, but all the food is organic. The best part is that they have a ketchup bar, with four different kinds of ketchup (original americana, mesquite magic, garlic gravity, and cayenne firewalker). They are all really, really good, I would go back for the ketchup and fries. If you want fast food without it being insanely unhealthy and filled with calories, definitely try Evos, even if it's just for the ketchup.

  • Giga S.

Something always goes wrong with my order. It's not necessarily the employees fault, today the oven is on the fritz. There are no air fries available and corn dogs will take 1 million years. Although the staff is really friendly I'm never coming back. My only solace was the Mesquite ketchup but when I went to pour myself some the bin was empty-fml.

The last time I was in this particular Evos, an employee was taking her break at a table in the dining room by sleeping with her head down for all of us to see. That was last September, so almost nine months later I ventured back into this spot because I had a friend in town who recently had gone all organic with her food consumption. She loved all the options and seemed to enjoy both her salad and wrap as she ordered food for that visit AND for lunch the next day. I'm not an organic person and clearly there are many here on Yelp who openly dispute the validity of Evos healthy claims. My standards are simply based on taste, value and good employees and this place just always comes up a little short. While this location operates significantly better than the one in West Shore Plaza, they still seem to get overwhelmed rather easily. We waited quite awhile to order and receive our food, yet there was only one party in front of us at the cashier and the dining room was pretty empty. Taste is decent on the items I've had on my visits, but it obviously is not something that I come back for on a regular basis if I'm only there every nine months or so. I do appreciate the cleanliness of this location and the fact that is a spot on Howard that has actual obvious parking for customers, so I guess I'll try them again in February 2016.

Evos..... So I was on my way to So Fresh for lunch and like any other Friday parking was scarce. I decided to give Evos a try, since I found parking there. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It was kind of bland and boring. The airfries were okay, again kind of bland. The employees at this location were like the food. Not rude but not really cheerful either. All in all I would categorize this establishment as the "Tuesday" of SoHo, Not bad but not good.

  • Natalia C.

It smelled great, and the food was pretty decent in taste, but they gave me avocado that was literally as hard as a rock, I spent .99 cents on something that I had to throw away. Unfortunate, but I'd definitely give this place another chance.

There simply isn't a better way to eat if you don't have much time. Ok sure it's not a 5 star dining experience but it's EXACTLY what it advertises. And truthfulness and keeping your customers informed goes a long way with me. Ok yes I see people not loving the air fries and yeah some are crunchy, some too much maybe and some fries will be softer but cutting out all the fat is a big deal to me. I'm in no way a vegetarian but I do try to eat veggies as much as I can. This place makes a very good meatless burger. I prefer the garden grill since it comes with a nice amount of avocado. So yes this is fast food at its heart but it's fast food that won't clog up those arteries leading to your own heart.

great quick healthy food in a comfortable environment. try the turkey avocado wrap with salmon instead of turkey also good with the veggie burger if you eat chicken, try the soy taco with chicken strips the soy taco is also very good i've been going to evos a lot for a very long time and it stays consistently good comfortable place with indoor and outdoor seating, refills on soda, also have tea drinks and great fresh made smoothies and shakes. they cater. there is free wireless. they got rid of the TVs about 4 or 5 years ago but they should probably bring those back. there are a couple of TBTs and creative loadings in the front. there are a bunch of different types of ketchups to try. good stuff

Healthy fast food? lol please don't kid yourselves & please eat a real burger & fries if you are craving it. I don't understand how this company is still in business!! If you really think you are eating healthy I suggest you do an evidence based research on the food on google & find out what it is you are really eating. The chicken sandwich is not edible & I have yet to come across another place that can mess up a chicken sandwich. Believe me that's one hard task! Burgers are just as bad if not worse. The wraps are bland & just nor worth it. Don't waste your money!!! Go to a nice place to grab a burger & fries: your craving will be satisfied & you are probably putting way better & fresh ingredients inside your body.

Just average. Nothing great about their food, nothing terrible. Not for everyone, try it out. I find their burgers a little dry, but that's just me.

Good "fast" food with a healthy twist. It's good to know that there are other ways to get fast food on-the-go that won't blow up your body with harmful chemicals. Air baked fries are good and I've had the bacon burger and salmon burger on two separate occasions. I really like the garlic ketchup and there are 3 other flavors of ketchup to chose from. If you are a healthy eater and on the run this is good place to go.

Meh is exactly the word I would use to describe this place. Very overpriced for the quality. This place is so-so. Better than fast food, but at $8 for a burger, fries and can of soda, it should be. It is nice that they have some organic and low-fat choices. I had their veggie burger and fries. Veggie burger was a single, previously frozen patty, with one slice of tomato, one piece of lettuce and one Tbsp of avocado mush. I would love to go back and try their vegetarian chili, but I've really got to be in a hurry to want to eat here again. With taste like this, Evos should really consider installing a drive-through.

Ehh. I have to give Evos credit for their idea but the food is just so so in my mind. Note: this review is coming from a vegetarian perspective. The veggie burger at Evos is pretty bad. It's some sort of shiny disc-like non meat patty that slides off of the bun every time you try to bite it. The actual flavor and texture of the sandwich is ok but for $9 with fries and a drink I really feel like it's not a very good deal. Their milk shakes are pretty weak too. I think I would rather opt for a Wendy's frosty. It also seems bizarre that a purported environmentalist eatery would use Styrofoam cups... Just saying. Maybe their "real" burgers are better.

This place is just OK. Be sure to look up calories, fat, etc before you indulge...some of the so-called healthy fare is worse than you'd think!

Healthy fast food? Yes please. This is my go to when I want to eat everything from McDonald's. I can go here, have a really tasty healthier option, air fries and a shake and not feel guilty. What's not to love? Plus they have gourmet ketchup... I mean, really.

Evos gets the bump up from me because they do things like, use plastics made from corn vs petroleum, post nutrition information not just online but in the store as well, delivering very tasty food in a healthy way. Not quite 5 stars though... here's why. I tried the signature veggie 'Champion' burger and while I found it tasty, it wasn't really great. The patty was a little too flat, and texture wise somewhere between a boca burger and garden burger. I'm not a big fan of veggie burgers made to look and taste like meat, I prefer to be able to see and taste the vegetables a bit. But that's just my preference. The fries were outstanding for not being 'fried'. I really dug the ketchup options. Faves were the garlic ketchup and cayenne ketchup! When I get home, I'm dumping cayenne pepper in my ketchup bottle.... it was so good! Seriously dug the raspberry iced tea and sipped a bit of the guava mango fruit shake.. that was awesome! Getting to Evos was a bit out of the way, but it was worth the trip.

This place is great. My husband loves junk/fast food, but I want him to eat more healthfully. Evos is a great compromise. He can get crispy fries that aren't deep fried and eat a burger made with hormone- and cruelty-free meat. The wraps are a little small, but they are pretty tasty. I had the crispy Buffalo chicken. I wish there was blue cheese on it rather than ranch, but otherwise, it really was crispy and spicy.

This is my favorite spot for fast fresh food. The staff is lovely, the service is fast and the food is yummy! This is a spot for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. You'll pay more than corporate fast food, but you can rest assured that you will not develop a third or first breast from extraneous hormones, nothing has been washed in ammonia, no week old oil and you're not eating cow poop with your burger. Yay for food you can trust and that is truly delicious.

I eat at Evo's quite a bit as my boyfriend is a huge fan. I've tried something different almost everytime I've eaten there and yet, I haven't found that one item that I can't live without. Evo's is perfect for a quick meal but again, there's just not any single item that stands out for me. I'll more than likely keep on eating there so hopefully I'll find my menu soulmate and keep ordering it and upgrade this review. Maybe I should get a milkshake?

The idea of healthy fast-food sounded ridiculous to me, but suddenly, upon further thought about the subject, curiosity made me crave it. A short drive from my hotel got me to Evos, a bright, green beacon in the night. I know the Supersize Me guy went to great lengths to warn us, the common public, about the ills of fast food. I found him so annoying, however, that my mind was at great ease with dispensing any message his film may have had. Eating at Evos, however, I realized how crappy regular fast food joints really do make you feel after eating their food. I ordered a free-range burger, some fries and a shake and was amazed at how I didn't feel stuffed. The meal wasn't outstanding. I'd say skip the shake. It's just silly soft-serve from a machine. The food was, however, better than grabbing something at McDonalds or BK. Fast-food isn't something I go out of my way to get. It's usually a quick fix. It would be nice if the Evos brand expanded and was as prevalent as all the others. It seems like the chain is spreading, so hopefully the day is near!

I'm going to have to award's Evo's some points here. First off, love the atmosphere and the whole experience of being there. The cashier was extremely helpful and when she recognized that this was my first trip, she guided me to the best meal options for me. My Champion Burger (vegan) was pretty good and the shake and air-fries were really good. I really liked to Garlic Ketchup. This is where the fifth star is missing: my husband's burger was not-satisfactory. He wasn't aware that the burger he chose had certain condiments on it (and some not on it that he likes) and had to go up to the counter several times to get what he needed. He was left a bit disappointed. I told him they have a money-back guarantee, but he hates to make a fuss so we just left. All in all, great franchise and fast food restaurant. I will definitly go back there again and again.

I wish they had an Evos back home in California! A couple of days ago, I had the American soy burger, fries and a shake. I've been trying to eat healthy but I still miss fast food so eating here helps me satisfy my cravings and feel better about what I am putting in my body. I think the ingredients and oils they use are better for you because I don't experience any "food coma" after eating here. Also if you are watching your calories, the soy burger has about half as many as a burger purchased elsewhere. I think next time, I will still get the burger and fries but skip the shake, although the shake seemed like a good idea at the counter, it was really rich and chocolaty, even though I got the size small, I think it was too big.

  • Occy V.

Evo's is a decent alternative to the fast food joints but its still fast food in the end. It's pretty good for a quick bite and their selection of ketchups in many different flavors really is a nice touch. The only problem is if you really are watching what you eat this place has more sodium in there food than real fast food.

I've been an Evos junkie for years. I used to work by their location on 4th St. in St. Petersburg and I went so much they knew my order when I walked in. I appreciate their vegetarian options and their commitment to providing healthy fast food. I love their spicy thai chicken wrap, baked air fries with mesquite ketchup, and their nitrate free hot dog. Their vanilla milk shakes are also yummy and their veggie chili on a cold day is the perfect light bite. The reason I am giving them only three stars is that this particular location has been pretty bad in terms of customer service on my last 3 plus visits. They've gotten my order wrong several times and completely forgotten portions of it on a take out (which I didn't realize until I was home). I'm just not sure who is running that place anymore. Last time I walked in around 7pm at night the entire staff except one person was congregated at a table talking and watching some kind of video on one of their phones. I probably stood at the register for about 3 minutes before someone acknowledged me and when they finally did only one person came over to help before someone else reluctantly went to the kitchen to make my food. Luckily I checked my order before leaving because they forgot items again. I have been loyal to Evos for years though, so I will keep coming back as I know they have good people working for them and despite these customer service issues the food quality at this location has not been lacking.

I'm visiting from CT for spring break so I'm trying out the local joints found on yelp. I appreciate the green-ness Evos is implementing but it isn't so special to me. I went full out with a free range beef wrap, fries, and fruit shake combo. I thought $10 was too pricey for a quick lunch.. 1) I'd recommend it, I just wanted to try it 2) Good atmosphere, staff is genuine 3) My meal was almost satisfying, wasn't bursting with flavor.. 4) It's green.. but sorta more of a image than really healthy 5) I'd go back, but not voluntarily.. I would check out other places first.

Good Location. Great Fast Food. Debbie gets it right. "As gimmickie as it is", Evos still rocks the fast food world. My brother takes my organic only nephew here when they visit. And this is in a trendy neighborhood, and it has been here for years. We love you Evos. Don't change a thing.

Green fast food? What a concept! After viewing their website, I thought, "Wow, this place sounds awesome", so I had to check it out. When I stepped in, EVERYTHING was green and white. Their menu consists of burgers, wraps, salads, fraps, smoothies, AIR FRIES and other snacks. Air fries are baked and not deep fried, and apparently, everything's organic, which I can dig. After my friend and I ordered, we started to noticed how... tacky and gimmicky EVOS is. Yeah, sure, the staff members weren't as awesome as the In 'n Out people are; they were just like any other fast food joint, but there were stacks of holistic healthy and spiritual magazines there, the whole place was painted in shades of green, they call their ketchup "Ketchup Karma", their ad on their wall consisted of a bumper of a yellow hippie van with the license plate "LUV EVOS" and bumper stickers that said stuff like, "Save the Humans", "War is the real enemy", and "Curb your CONSUMPTION", and the kicker, THEY WERE PLAYING YOGA MUSIC. I know this is green fast food, but it's still fast food. What is this psuedo, wannabe hippie shit? I thought that was over-the-top gimicky green, yet hilarious. For how gimmicky this place was, I was hoping that the food wasn't, and it was actually pretty decent. They used REAL cheddar cheese on my veggie burger. My veggie patty was a bit dry though, and my friend said the same about her steak patty. The bread was too chewy for my taste, but tolerable. The fruit smoothie was good, but too sweet. The air fries were pretty good, some were too dry, while others were fluffy. They tasted as if they had been deep friend even though they were actually baked, and they were still greasy, though EVOS claims that air fries have 50-70% less fat than regular fries. I really liked EVOS' ketchup, which they call Ketchup Karma. They had four kinds of ketchup: Original American, Mesquite Gravity, Cayenne Firewalker and Garlic Magic. I was a big fan of the Mesquite Gravity and Cayenne Firewalker. You squirt 'em into little black cups by yourself and to keep yourself from getting confused over the flavors, they have little color coded stickers with the names printed on them to be stuck on the cups! For a fast food joint, the prices were a bit high, but considering that it's organic, it was really reasonable. It was about $19 for a veggie burger, a steak burger, two fries, and two large fruit smoothies. Not bad. As gimmicky as EVOS is, I still have to give them five stars because it's an awesome concept, and you can't beat fast food that's healthy(er) and eco-friendly. EVOS is also the only place that I've seen in Tampa that recycles and encourages recycling! This place belongs in California! Kudos to them :)

They have something like 8 different types of ketchup to pair with their baked fries. The ketchup and healthier menu options compared to fast food are really the only reasons to go to this place.

Located near USF, this place is a great if you're hungry and want fast food. Their air fries are surprisingly delicious and they have an assortment of condiments (garlic ketchup, etc) that you can mix if you so desire. They have vegetarian burger options, such as the Champion Burger, which is nice for a fast food restaurant. Their shakes are delicious and surprisingly not that bad for you. Yes, this is a fast food restaurant. However, since it is more organic, it is healthier with the convenience of fast food.

I really want to like this place. Healthy fast food- good concept with only a decent execution. It is kind of sad when the best part of a place is the different kinds of ketchup they offer. They are flavored which adds some zip to the dry and bland sandwiches. The milkshakes are gritty which for some reason is a consequence of organic ice cream. Unless you need to eat fast food which isn't high calorie laden and you have some seasonings you are willing to throw on your selection to add flavor I would say not worth it.

I love Evos, and I love this location. The food is fantastic, and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes (so maybe other reviewers came in on an off day?). I havent tried everything on the menu, but I have been satisfied with what I have gotten. The beef burger is good, not great. I mean, its not a 5 Guys by any means, but its tasty and healthier, the Champion burger, on the other hand, is fantastic. Its one of those meatless, but tastes like meat, type of burgers (like a Morningstar Griller type of thing). The veggie burger is good. Its more like a Garden burger. The chicken strips are fantastic, and I am really picky when it comes to chicken. The chicken is all white meat with none of the nasty gross parts (like the clear foul goop you find with most chicken strips). You wouldn't know it wasn't deep fried, honest. It tastes great on the Thai salad too (and the salads are quite large). I like the fries and always get them, but I rarely get to eating them because I am usually too full :).

What a great idea! A "green" fast food joint! We didn't actually try the food - just stopped in to get smoothies, which is why I can only give it 4 stars - but we were impressed by the recycling, the compostable/recycled containers they use, and their philosophy. I can't wait until Evos catches on and they make their way out out west!

If a fast food chain is going to thrive in America, this should be the one. First of all, the food is friendly to vegetarians, vegans, and carnivores. I prefer no meat at all, I'll take what I can get. In Tampa, FL you aren't going to get much. The fries are called Air Fries and somehow they are incredibly tasty despite never touching a vat of scorching oil. The packaging is environmentally conscious and they have a very good recycling program for your waste. The smoothies are delicious and can be added to a combo instead of a soda for a small up-charge. There is a ketchup bar with 5 or 6 different kinds of ketchup. There's parking and plenty of seating inside and a few televisions showing whatever they feel like at the time. I've seen cartoons, soaps and college football bowl games in there. It looks like they are having some recent success as the last time I went there was a brochure for a new branch opening in Las Vegas. The people will come around eventually. This place will hit.

The food certainly seems healthier that other fast food chains, but I was a little disappointed in t he selection. That being said, I had a great crispy Thai chicken salad. The service wasn't great, but I think they were training people and it was a slow afternoon (better to train when slow I would think). Overall, I plan on returning when I want to grab a quick lunch.

Great service. I'll wait at extra 5 minutes for my fries ANY DAY for a free meal!!

A friend brought me here awhile back, and ive been meaning to try it again especially with the new one here in carrollwood. I can say the experience I had was a pretty good one. My friend INSISTED on the spicy thai chicken wrap, and I can totally see why..it was uhhhmazinggg. The air fries though, not a fan. I guess I just prefer mine full fat and greasy. I like the healthy fast food idea, and I really would like to come back and try their smoothies or a burger.

This can be a love-hate place, as demonstrated by prior reviews. Although it has a limited menu, it tries to be healthy and sorta vegetarian without totally scaring off the carnivores.....so it offers veggie/soy burgers, "air fries" and real "free range" beef hamburgers. I still have not warmed up to "wraps," which ladies used to bring along on chilly evenings. As an omnivore, the mixed menu is OK by me, but in trying to be kinda friendly to both PETA and the Cattlemen's Association, they are kinda mediocre in my view. The air fries are bland, and may be next step to serving puffed rice cakes. I did like the flavored tea, and the veggie burger I tried was not bad, comparable to what I can find in the Sweetbay freezer case. Not a morsel of pork, Cuban Bread, stewed beans, flan or any of my neighborhood comfort foods. So I beat a retreat from SoHo and returned happily to Boliche Booool-eh- varrr.

I'm not a big fan of the air fries, but i love the Spicy Thai Chicken wrap. Being on travel and on the go, you don't get much chance to prepare for meal, much less healthy meals. Evos gives you that option to eat healthy while on the go.

It smelled great, and the food was pretty decent in taste, but they gave me avocado that was literally as hard as a rock, I spent .99 cents on something that I had to throw away. Unfortunate, but I'd definitely give this place another chance.

It was nice to find a vegetarian/vegan option "fast food" restaurant. The menu items included key words and ideas related to "organic" vegetarian and vegan diets, offering veggie burgers and "air fries" which had no grease and sea salts. The smoothies were made from a real fruit puree and the meat was "no hormones, free range" ... but the green washing stuck out like a sore thumb, clearly the marketing differentiator to other stores, though not tasting different. The only thing I really noticed that was different was the price. My family and I ordered a meal for $37 which may have been some $20 at a normal fast-food restaurant. The taste was pretty normal, and the fries had potential but didn't seem very fresh for our order. The food came quick- similar to the service of another fast food joint. I was intrigued with the idea, but I'm hopeful for development of new menu choices and better tasting food in the future. Also, I wonder if the chain would be able to buy foods from local farms depending on their store locations? Pepsi endorsements threw me off, as I wondered how much high-fructose corn syrup was being used in my burger, fries, ketchup, etc? I also thought, how "large-corporate-America" is this place trying to be? It would be a shame to douse the green-innovation in typical innovation values and pull-in those who truly shop and live "organic lifestyles" because of the "ease factor" of fast food. It seems that a real "fast food revolution" would be a leader in the sustainable cause and not merely jump on the band wagon. From a company perspective, it seems the marketing needs work. It didn't feel "honest" and the product scratches the surface of what a "natural, organic, vegetarian, vegan" fast food restaurant could be. That is, a fast food label/association with the organic movement could be much more than guacamole, some average-tasting veggie burgers, and marketing to catch the eye of vegetarians and vegans. In all fairness, claiming to be the "first organic fast food chain" is inviting scrutiny, and the "target market" their gunning for, the vegetarian and vegans, are typically the most specific and detailed types of customers when considering what they eat. Not a very easy business to get into unless the company is truly passionate about organic foods. I hope the idea develops and the movement continues to grow, but it will take some time, restructuring, and honest passion to make it worth the extra cash.

Hooray!

Not a bad lunch place. The food is a much better and healthier option than the typical fast food. Nothing is fried. It is usually busy so going a little before lunch rush makes it a better experience. Service is good and the employees are friendly. Overall, this is a good place for lunch.

Fries get an A+. Or as they call them, 'airfries'. Burger? Not so much. It was just a bit plain and dry. I had to add one of their fancy ketchups to moisten it up a bit! I think it's a bit overpriced for a 'quick' burger joint, but that's probably because they push for the 'healthy' crowd. I have had the wraps here and those are good. Next time I come, that's my choice.

Had a free coupon, so went with husband and we still paid $12 for a meal. The burger was dry and flavorless, the fries were okay. the ketchup variety was good. Husband had turkey burger and it was dry and awful. staff was VERY friendly and gave us two more free coupons to come back and suggested we try the wrap next time. we couldn't make ourselves go back, and gave away the coupons. Not sure what the other ppl thought about it. Sorry. Good concept. Wish it had the flavor it needs for repeat business.

Holidays are when you eat what you shouldn't, what you normally wouldn't and just generally more than you might typically tackle. Evos can't keep you from too many trips to the candy dish or sneaking snacks in between meal. But it can give you a very healthy, very tasty and really satisfying way to eat by specializing in creating good-for-us food that you want to eat. I tend not to stray from the Spicy Thai Chicken Wrap (also known as the Crack Wrap for it addictive qualities) but after sampling their bacon cheeseburger, bacon chicken caesar wrap, strawberry, walnut and gorgonzola salad, their sublime meatless burger and quite delightful hot dogs, I now realize that Spicy Thai Chicken has some serious competition. One suggestion, which I will surely try, is to have the best of two great dishes and request the meatless burger be substituted for the chicken so I can still wrap but with a twist. This is a place you can grab and go, pull up a seat and eat or even have the food catered for an office function or special event. They go to great lengths to get high quality ingredients that are not over-processed or injected with hormones. Both the buns and wraps are made from organic ingredients and there is not a fryer anywhere on the premises. Everywhere you look there is evidence of an eco-friendly philosophy- from the chaisr and carry out boxes to the clear plastic cups where are made from either sustainable or recycled materials. Much as I want to praise Evos for their eco-friendly practices, the true test is in the taste and It. Is. All. Good. Shakes, smoothies (the motto is "Drink Irresponsibly), sauces, ketchups, airbaked chicken strips and Airfries will make you happy you ate here, help you maintain healthy eating habits and leave you feeling delightfully full without being bloated or stuffed.

I have fallen in love with this place as a meeting spot for a quick lunch. I love this place because for 1. the food is awesome, and 2. they use more natural, organic ingredients, and 3. they do not deep fry! They have a great selection of vegetarian options on their menu as well. This place has officially satisfied my craving for an awesome vegan burger! If your a french fry fanatic...I suggest this place for that itch as well because they air bake their fries so they have 55-70% less fat than fries you would get anywhere else. If you have not been here, I highly recommend it! Save your arteries from burger king or whatever fast food joint you may frequent and enjoy the healthier variety from Evos.

The Steakburgers are so juicy and delicious, you forget that they're healthy. You'd never care that the tasty fries are Airbaked. The Chicken Strips are deliciously seasoned and battered and crispy. Stopped here on the way back to Jacksonville from Clearwater. I AM SO IN LOVE! I really, really wish we had one here in Jax. I am loving this slow move towards conscious eating. Air baked fries tasted so much better than those greasy shoe string things at other places. My husband's burger was awesome. I got the avocado something wrap. So good! I ordered a kid's meal for my 1 year old, even though she really only had a few nibbles. The breaded chicken strips were a bit too salty for a kid, in my opinion but not that big of a deal since I didn't let her eat any of the breading anyway. LOVE the place. PLEASE OPEN ONE IN THE JACKSONVILLE AREA!!!

Evos is a great quick-fix for healthy fast food. Their salads and wraps are delicious, made with natural ingredients. Quite a few vegetarian options. I wouldn't call it "fast" food though (took over 10 minutes to get our food). And on a Sunday morning it was very loud with kids (kids apparently eat free Sunday morning for a limited time). I personally think that the veggie burger at Burger King tastes better; but avocado on the patty is a nice touch, as is the flavored ketchup selection.

Evos, your delicious crispy baked chicken strips with buffalo sauce have drawn me to you for years. Your employees are always friendly, and your take out prices are right. I love your guilt free version of fast food, even though a look at your nutrition stats ups the guilt factor more than you would have me believe. It's ok, you are still better for me than McDonald's and tastier too. The only thing I don't understand is why you constantly make me wait for a new batch of fries to be ready. Evos, you are steadily busy, you need to make a habit of making more fries. You run out and make me wait 10 minutes about 50% of the time. I still love you though!

Located near USF, this place is a great if you're hungry and want fast food. Their air fries are surprisingly delicious and they have an assortment of condiments (garlic ketchup, etc) that you can mix if you so desire. They have vegetarian burger options, such as the Champion Burger, which is nice for a fast food restaurant. Their shakes are delicious and surprisingly not that bad for you. Yes, this is a fast food restaurant. However, since it is more organic, it is healthier with the convenience of fast food.

Evo's is a decent alternative to the fast food joints but its still fast food in the end. It's pretty good for a quick bite and their selection of ketchups in many different flavors really is a nice touch. The only problem is if you really are watching what you eat this place has more sodium in there food than real fast food.

Everyone was nice, but they didn't get my order right, missing chicken and my salad was warm. When I called to let them know, they told me a manager would call me back, but no-one ever did. I'll visit Evos again, but not this one.

They have something like 8 different types of ketchup to pair with their baked fries. The ketchup and healthier menu options compared to fast food are really the only reasons to go to this place.

I had such high hopes for this place. A much healthier fast food type of place is such a great concept. I had the buffalo chicken wrap. I liked it and thought that it was a good size. Smaller than you'd get in a restaurant, but that's because the Evos one was the correct portion size. My husband got the burger. It was on the smaller size and he kept complaining that it was the worst burger he'd ever had. I just thought he was exaggerating but then I tried a bite and he was right. It was the most boring burger. Ever. It had bacon and cheese so I have no idea how it could have been so dull and flavorless but it was. I could microwave a better burger. The air fries were good considering they're baked and not fried. I loved the different ketchups. I will go here again because I want to try some of the other stuff, but I will stay far away from their burgers. I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to convince my husband to come with me.

The restaurant is always clean and orderly and the service is always great (except several times I've had to wait over 10 mins to get my food). Overall, I love Evos and am a big fan!

  • Sam V.

I'm not a big fan of the air fries, but i love the Spicy Thai Chicken wrap. Being on travel and on the go, you don't get much chance to prepare for meal, much less healthy meals. Evos gives you that option to eat healthy while on the go.

Hooray!

It smelled great, and the food was pretty decent in taste, but they gave me avocado that was literally as hard as a rock, I spent .99 cents on something that I had to throw away. Unfortunate, but I'd definitely give this place another chance.

Not a bad lunch place. The food is a much better and healthier option than the typical fast food. Nothing is fried. It is usually busy so going a little before lunch rush makes it a better experience. Service is good and the employees are friendly. Overall, this is a good place for lunch.

Great new find for a vegetarian! Yay! A bit pricey for fast-food, but well worth it!

They have something like 8 different types of ketchup to pair with their baked fries. The ketchup and healthier menu options compared to fast food are really the only reasons to go to this place.

I love this place. I have friends that refused to try it simply because they despise uber-healthy or vegan diets. Once they try the spicy Thai chicken wrap with air fries and cayenne ketchup...they're sold.

Everyone was nice, but they didn't get my order right, missing chicken and my salad was warm. When I called to let them know, they told me a manager would call me back, but no-one ever did. I'll visit Evos again, but not this one.

One bad thing about Evos: There's not one in Orlando. Other than that, the place is a dream come true, both this location and the location in St. Pete. The Steakburgers are so juicy and delicious, you forget that they're healthy. You'd never care that the tasty fries are Airbaked. The Chicken Strips are deliciously seasoned and battered and crispy. The organic Cappuccino Milkshake would make you slap your momma (not recommended). Plus, they have four different kinds of ketchup! FOUR! Original Americana, Garlic Gravity, Mesquite Magic and Cayenne Firewalker. Sigh. Is it wrong to drive over an hour to get a delicious sustainable meal? Probably. That's way I have to hit it every time I'm there.

The restaurant is always clean and orderly and the service is always great (except several times I've had to wait over 10 mins to get my food). Overall, I love Evos and am a big fan!

Evo's is a decent alternative to the fast food joints but its still fast food in the end. It's pretty good for a quick bite and their selection of ketchups in many different flavors really is a nice touch. The only problem is if you really are watching what you eat this place has more sodium in there food than real fast food.

  • Tristan W.
