Compared to other places, Dragon Express have you a lot of food for a really cheap price. I order the chicken lo mein and it was just okay. The atmosphere was absolutely terrifying and people were smoking in the restaurant. If you love chinese food and yourself, then bypass this place and try somewhere else.

Real good food and you need 2 hands to carry 1 dinner order, that is how much food for the cheap prices. You also receive side order of sweet n sour chic with dinner combo. I have tried several Chinese places around town since I've been gone for yrs and now back.

This place is located in one of the scariest parts of town. But, it's really cheap and it's the best Chinese in town. Their $5 lunch special includes a can of soda, and their $7+ dinner special includes sweet and sour pork, egg roll, and fried rice. It's always completed quickly and is me we disappointing. My personal favorite is the fried dumplings and the sesame chicken dinner. Another favorite is the beef (or chicken or shrimp) with broccoli. Go visit this place! Now!

I avoided this place for far too long! How could I have known that the sketchy exterior housed some of the most solid American-style Chinese food I've had here in Tampa? Dinner special portions are HUGE! Bonus for the counter girl who can simultaneously take my order in English, write it down in Chinese, and answer questions over the phone in Spanish. Get it! 4 stars only because they never make my general tso's as spicy as I ask for.

I don't live in Tampa, but when I visit my friend I love to come and visit this Chinese restaurant. Yes it is in a questionable area, but the food is totally worth it. Quick services and affordable prices. Definitely a go see in Tampa!
