My husband and I have been here twice now and we love it. We look forward to going each month now. Since there are only two of us we have a hard time finding good recipes for just the two of us. We usually end up wasting a lot of food. Dinner Done is awesome because we can split each meal into portions for just the two of us. They're a little pricey but you're paying for the convenience and not having to clean up after yourself. The first time we had no idea what to expect, so here's a little bit about how it goes. When you get there they give you a sheet with the recipes you picked and paid for in advance. The sheet also tells you your shelf number (and they will tell you verbally too). The shelf is in their freezer and it's where you put your meals as you complete them. There are various prep stations around, each counter has 2 recipes listed. You can go in any order you want, we usually just go to whichever station doesn't have anyone first and then figure it out from there. Each station has prep directions, such as mix 1/4 cup of oil and one egg in the mixing bowl...you prep your meal as stated or you can divide it into two containers to get two meals out of it. They have a wrapping station where you wrap each finished meal in plastic wrap and then you put it on your shelf and move onto the next meal. Everything is raw. You don't actually cook anything. Everything is kept in plastic containers with spoons to correlate with the measurement you need. We love this idea because we both hate tomatoes but love onions and garlic. So if a recipe calls for tomatoes we just don't put them on. Likewise, if a recipe calls for onions or garlic we add a bit more. You can personalize it as much as you want. They also have a freezer filled with some premade meals and sides. We love the quiche lorraine, roasted red pepper mashed potatoes, and twice baked mashed potatoes. If you're a family of two you will love this place because you don't end up wasting so much food. The last time that we went a few stations started running out of stuff but anytime you ask staff for something they are very quick and accommodating.

My wife recently tried this out and loved it. Food, ingredients and seasonings are all fresh. You still need to prepare and cook! But eliminate pushing carts through busy grocery store aisles, standing in line at the butcher and deli counter, reading the labels on a variety of seasonings and coming up with a menu all together and you've just cut down hours upon hours from the entire cooking experience. So, you can just get to the fun stuff which cooking is...fun! Food tasted great btw, and the menu is pretty inventive and changes monthly. We will be going back for couples night. Oh, it's social, too! Go with friends and you can catch up on the gossip while being productive. Kill two birds...

I REALLY like this place. I've only been once, but I love the concept, the people and the end product. High quality ingredients at working stations with recipes YOU follow and make yourself. Then, you take the food home, freeze it and cook it later. All you need to do is go to the grocery store and buy some side dishes, and BOOM! Dinner is done. When I went, there were about 30 of us, and there was plenty of elbow room for us all to whip up our meals. The prep tables are big and the work stations are sanitary as well as orderly. The staff did an exceptional job directing traffic considering most of the 30 had never worked in a restaurant environment before. Hats off! Can't wait to return.

We've been to Dinner Done many times over the years and it's a great help for busy people who want to prepare their own meals. I imagine it would be especially great for working moms. One thing we love is their Valentine's Day menu. They pre-prepare everything and you just pick it up (fresh, not frozen) to cook at home. They make it really simple and include EVERYTHING (even butter for the rolls and chopped parsley for garnish). You end up with very few dirty dishes and have a great time at home without fighting the crowds and paying too much for some stupid prix fixe menu. Our only complaint is that the menu is the same each year.

Love this place! The kitchen is always clean, staff helpful, food fresh & setup is very efficient. It is wonderful to leave there after 1 hour with enough meals (with leftovers) to feed my family for 1-2 weeks!

What were we waiting for? Finally, we have tried Dinner Done in Carrollwood, and it was fantastic. I recommend the Grab and Go if you don't have time to cook your own meal. With a brand new baby and no extra time to prepare a meal, this was the PERFECT solution for a small dinner party. My guests raved about the delicious steak and asked how to make the mushroom sauce. I gave them directions to Dinner Done! LOL.

This place is nice. Nice setup and nice meal ideas. I think I would appreciate this place more if I had four children, which means I'd instantly be unorganized, unhappy, and unsexy - Oh, God, that sounds like hell. These are the kinds of meals that are nice to have in storage during a busy week when you don't feel like cooking. Also, if you're looking for fresh dinner ideas or just starting out in the kitchen, come here. They do make good gift ideas for new/young chefs. The menu changes monthly. You can prepare for yourself in their kitchen or, for a little more, order pre-prepared meals. I've never gotten anything worth craving, but it sure beats a box of mac n' cheese on a Tuesday night.

Dinner Done! is absolutely amazing! This is our second month purchasing meals from them. I work full time, have a horrible commute, a family, and also working on a Master's degree so preparing dinner is really the last thing on my mind. I've used the delivery option and ToGo, both are convenient for me. The meals are prepared with fresh ingredients and are delicious! The menus change each month so you won't ever get tired of eating the same things. I love that my time in the grocery store has decreased too. Worth.every.penny.

I LOVE dinner done. It has absolutely changed my life. I am a full time working mom with a toddler. Before dinner done my weekends were consumed of finding new recipes and planning my grocery list. During the week after a long day of work I used to spend hours preparing dinner for my family. I have been using dinner done consistently for two months and they have healthy, fresh, and scrumptious meals. I spend less money feeding my family on their meals then grocery shopping and I can now come home, relax, and spend time with my family. Dinner done is a win win. You won't be disappointed!
