So many of my favorite things are at Crumb&Cork: live jazz music, wine, cheese and charcuterie. My husband and I stopped in this Saturday as the Crumb &Cork was opening. We indulged in the happy hour Malbec from Argentina, a mixed cheese and charcuterie platter of prosciutto, salami, aged cheeses, and warm crusty bread served with pesto and olive tapenade. We enjoyed our first glass of wine so much that we decided to order several different glasses of wines as well as the chicken carbonara flatbread pizza (we needed carbs to soak up the booze!). Our server suggested the flatbread and his suggestion was great. I really appreciated that the chef didn't just plop the toppings on the flatbread. Instead, the chicken and bacon were finely diced so that you didn't pull off all the toppings upon first bite. We sat outside since we had our dog with us. Although we would have loved to have stayed later for the live jazz we had just as much fun people watching the attendees from the Tampa Bay Comic-Con. (Some of the costumes we spotted were absolutely amazing!) Will definitely return to Crumb&Cork soon to try more of the great wine and food as well as experience the live jazz!

I decided to try crumb & cork when I saw some good reviews and also saw that there was a CL deal. The menu wasn't on their website, so I couldn't read through to get any info beforehand. However, anything with wine, cheese, and a mimosa brunch is for me, so I wanted to give it a try. I went for brunch and was surprised by the prices for the size of the meals. The food was decent, but I could go elsewhere for a lot cheaper and just as good food. They also wouldn't take my CL deal (despite the fact I told the waiter before we ordered anything) because according to him the brunch was considered a promotion (which is an exclusion of the deal). The girl singing live at brunch was amazing...I would go back just to hear her. Otherwise, I probably won't be back.

I can only give this place three stars as of now. My girlfriend and I went downtown to get a glass of wine and possibly something small to eat. We used our Yelp ap of course and stumbled onto Crumb & Cork. We had our dog with us and we sat outside. The couches are the wicker style and comfortable. Our biggest issue was the time of day. We made it down around lunch and the sun wasn't helping us with our seats. They have a great selection of wine and the waitress was very helpful in our selection as well as handling the inside patrons as well as us without issue. As to why I can only give this place three stars is for the fact we haven't eaten there and I would love to try some of their small wine accompaniments. Do to the fact that it was lunch they were only using a lunch menu. I was not feeling up to a sandwich, which looked very good by the way, so we ate somewhere else. I will definitely be going back and will be sure to come at a later time to enjoy their regular menu. I am sure that these stars will increase!

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for when this spot was going to open for a while now...and it turns out, it was WAY WORTH THE WAIT!!!!! I got a couple of girlfriends to join me for a jazz night and it was spectacular! Joshua helped us pick a fabulous bottle of Cabernet and was extremely knowledgeable about the different selections. I was quite impressed! Oh yea~the blue cheese here is A MUST!!!! The service was great! I have found my new favorite wine bar!! Crumb&Cork~you nailed it!

Came here for lunch with a friend during the week. We each ordered a lunch portion flatbread and salad combo. Everything was okay. The atmosphere seems kind of cool, but it was hard to tell in the middle of the day. Would like to come back at night and sea how the wine/champagne is.

This is a superb spot for wine and jazz. My wife and I came by for a glass of wine and ended up staying for hours until close! The owners are extremely friendly and engaging. There is a great selection of wine and we had a great time there. We are looking forward to bringing our friends to enjoy this atmosphere. This is a great addition this is to downtown Tampa!

Stopped in for lunch with co-workers and what a nice surprised this place turned out to be! The atmosphere was so relaxing we were late returning to work...but it was more than worth it! The food was FABULOUS, can't stop talking about it!! We sat at the bar and Joshua took great care of us. Super nice guy! Thanks for the champagne! Salud! Can't wait to go back!!

I never post reviews, but this was such a bad experience, I couldn't help myself. Let me start off by saying, I am a resident of downtown Tampa and I make it a point to frequent and support local businesses and restaurants. I have frequented cork and crumble numerous times in the past and I have never been overly pleased or disappointed, yet I continued my patronage because it was a convenient wine bar in downtown Tampa. Today, cork and crumble utterly disappointed me to the point that I feel it is absolutely necessary to share with locals. This is how my evening started, I went there with a girlfriend, expecting more girlfriends to come, and we debated ordering a bottle of wine, but wanted to sample some of their selections first. We ordered a glass of wine, that was offered at $8.00 a glass on the menu and was informed by our very nice waitress (by the way, this bottle of wine sells for $7.99 at any local store) that the management decided they didn't want to pour me a glass of wine because opening the bottle would potentially cause them spoilage of this entire bottle, if it wasn't all used that night, and the waitress told me, per the management I needed to order a different glass of wine. Why offer a glass of wine, if you don't intend to offer a glass of wine? As if this wasn't insulting enough, (a fellow frequent patron wasn't entitled to a glass of wine, as advertised on their menu) we requested a glass of water while we considered the other wines, we were informed by the waitress (who was instructed by the owner) that cork and crumble does not serve tap water because the salt from the tap water ruins their glasses. I have never been told that city water is too salty so that it is unsafe to sell it to consumers. While our waitress was very helpful and felt terrible, the management and ownership (who were informed of this matter) did nothing to ameliorate the matter. After requesting to speak with the owner, the manager came to speak with us. Despite, our experience, the manger told us that he would be happy to buy us a glass of wine on our next visit? Who ever said there would be a next visit? People wonder why business in downtown Tampa is suffering... Perhaps they should reevaluate their business practices. Then we went to Anise and had an amazing experience.

A very suave and swanky new place that allows for Tampa yuppies and winos alike to come and enjoy a huge wine list and discuss art. I like the decor inside, I think it may still need some artwork above the bar, but I realize it is just getting on it's feet. The menu looked great. I've had the Caprese salad which was spectacular. They offer a wide variety of cheeses to accommodate your wines as well. I need to visit again because I hear they have great brunch deals! See you soon!

Everyone at our table absolutely loved the Margherita Flatbread. There was a tangy lime after taste with each bite that was delicious!! The strawberry cheesecake was simply: cheesecake with a strawberry sauce drizzled over it and a strawberry garnish. In this case, simple is good especially after the wine and the heavy taste of the flatbread.

We are so fortuante to have Crumb & Cork at our SkyPoint doorstep. C&C is our 'go-to' place for consistently excellent flatbreads and salads. They always have interesting wines by the glass and, of course, bubbles specials. Best of all, they feature live jazz on weekends (closed Sundays), usually from 8 to 11. There is no cover charge for the music. GO.

Would you like to see a drink menu? This usually entails signature cocktails in a small region of this big book which primarily consist of and extensive wine list by the glass or by the bottle. Page after page noting titles you cant even begin to try and pronounce we get overwhelmed by this wine list and probably take the safe approach and order something familiar. Vodka n tonic please? Crumb & Cork recently opened in a scenic downtown region. They focus on wine appreciation, chef inspired dishes to compliment their wine list and the appreciation of jazz both live and as background music. Upon entry, I noted a clean yet plain décor earthy tones to the dining scheme which includes several dining tables, a lounge area with plush chairs and couch, several high top chairs at the bar area, a small stage and outdoor chairs, couches and low coffee tables. Since I visited during the day, I'm sure the layout sounds simple. But, I'm sure the focus and tones of color would stand out at night with random and city lighting and more importantly the colorful sounds coming off their jazz stage. Beyond this, the staff was well dressed, warm/inviting and more importantly helpful. Being a novice when it comes to wine selections and pairing, I depend on suggestions. Yet again, handed that big book of wine selections that consists of over 100 selections by the bottle or glass. Overwhelmed? not to worry. On the opening page of the wine menu they offer a wine flight which consist of four glasses that they recommend on trying on the red, white or blush profile. You can even mix and match at your choice. My fave? The Golden Ticket which consists of the server selections. Come as a group, let him/her know what flavor profiles you like and enjoy this flight as a sharing amongst friends. This cool concept comes at a price of $20/flight My eating experience was limited due to brunching elsewhere prior to my arrival. But as a share plate, I tried the Fig & Prosciutto flatbread. This was an ok item, but hoped for more in terms of flavor dimension and maybe actual pieces of dried figs versus it as a spread on the flatbread. But in hindsight the menu details did note a fig spread. Being that the menu spans from vast arrays of cheeses, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and desserts, I intend to try more items before I gage food selection. I do miss this concept from a previous establishment that closed in a different area of town. I say this in the fact of always wanting to try new things and gaining and exposure to the vast array of wines out there. Crumb & Cork brings wine appreciation with an amped up jazz vibe. Being a novice, wine enthusiast, or looking for somewhere with a jazz vibe. Crumb & Cork has a great concept on wining, dining and live music/entertainment scene all under one roof for a vast demographic.

Was between a 3* and 4* on this! but because they're still getting on their feet, I'm hoping that they're just shaking off the cobwebs. After attending a Yelp event at C&C, we decided to go back last night to see the place when their was music. The mood and atmosphere was relaxing and the trio on stage were great. Our server was very friendly, my only disappointment was that we hardly ever saw her. I think she was taking cadre of a few other people on the other side of the bar. We tried a couple glasses (they were out of a few things but had other recommendations, which just happened to be a few bucks more- go figure). The Franklin Street Iced Tea was terrible. I had to power through it since it was nine bucks. Overall, nice atmosphere, comfortable seating, I'd suggest a couple more glasses at or under $10- there were only a few.

I was very excited to try this place - a wine and jazz bar sounds like a fun Saturday night with friends - and I had an $80 Creative Loafing certificate to share. We were a group of 5. Each of us had a few glasses of wine and water, which as you can see from the reviews you are charged for - there is no option for complimentary "tap" water. OK, fine. I knew that going in so was prepared and I gave our group a head's up as well. We ordered a charcuterie plate, two or three flatbreads, and fondue. The food was good, but pricey. The fondue portions were very small (maybe 1 cup cheese fondue per 4-person serving?) and it was expensive at $35! We ended up ordering two cheese fondues as one definitely didn't serve 4 people... we needed two even after ordering flatbreads and a charcuterie plate! We also ordered two 4-person chocolate fondues (also a small portion) - and had to order additional "dippers" for, of course, an additional charge. The bill - for five people - was around $250 - and that was *after* the Creative Loafing $80 certificate was applied! All in our group agreed we wouldn't make the trip to Crumb & Cork again simply because it was expensive. On the plus side, the $130 we spent on the fondue (yes, $130 only on fondue!) left us wanting for more at a reasonable price, so we invited those same friends over to the house for cheese and chocolate fondue a few weekends later... delicious!

I had been wanting to come here for a while, but it did not live up to my expectations. I know this is supposed to be a casual neighborhood place to get a glass of wine and have some flatbread, and in that sense, it's fine. The wines are all very reasonably priced, but there's nothing great on their list other than the P-H champagne. The decor is rather minimalistic, and that's fine, but given the huge space inside the restaurant, if it isn't full, the place just looks sad. The menu was very pedestrian, mostly dips, flatbreads, salads. We had the "chef's choice" meat and cheese plate. I wish there was the option to choose my own. We were given the prosciutto and a sausage, brie and bleu cheese. The prosciutto was unremarkable, the sausage very pedestrian (sort of like summer sausage). I wish the chef had chosen one harder cheese like a manchego or aged gouda rather than two soft cheeses. They did not provide enough crackers for all the soft cheese. I did not think the pickles and mustard complimented anything but the sausage (olives or nuts would have been a better choice or maybe a honey). The price was fine, but I've definitely had better meat and cheese plates around town. Everything else on the menu looked even less promising. They only had two entrees, both were chicken drowned in cheese. None of the fondues mentioned on the website (or on yelp) were available. We ended up finishing our wine and heading next door to Taco Bus. If I lived in downtown, I might come here as a casual place, but I don't think I'd drive here. Cheese Please and Bianchi's Enoteca are much better choices if you want wine and cheese, and they both have a parking lot.

Delicious. Classy. Simply lovely. We went in on a Sunday afternoon to discover that there is a progressive happy hour daily with both drink and food specials. I ended up taking advantage and ordering the ribeye peppercorn steak, which was delicious. The cut of steak was flavorful, and had the standard characteristics of a mildly fatty ribeye. We also ordered 2 flatbreads- one chicken carbonara and one fig prosciutto. Both were superb, but for me the fig & prosciutto was amazing and like a dessert. Great service from Jenna. I can't wait to go back.

Let me start by saying this has potential of being a great date spot. The place is very nicely furnished... I am not rating this based on one time. This is not the first time I've been to crumb and cork. I went there twice when it first opened and all though the food is the same and not good the experience has become a lot worst. We ordered the flatbread knowing that out of most their food ... The flatbread is good. It came out cold. We asked for crushed red pepper and never got it. You have to pay for water which is new compared to the times I went there in the beginning. We don't skim on anything so clearly buying water is essential and not the end of the world but the fact that you sell only alcohol and know people need water to sober up and drive is just ridiculous. It's almost like you know your food sucks so if you charge people for over priced water then you make out okay. The whole concept is repulsing. It just rubbed me the wrong way I guess. The cheese dip was awful and lacked complete flavor. The spinach dip was better but still lacked flavor. From the previous time, we remember the fondue being pretty bad. It was all a total waste of calories. The crackers were good though so I give them points for that. The Jazz band was a nice touch and the decor is lovely but our waitress was pretty bad. It took my friends over forty five minutes to get their food. She came up with a lame excuse and she probably didn't care since gratuity was already included on our checks. The overall experience wasn't good and I will never go back. I'd also like to mention that we were over charged a whole bottle of wine that we didn't order and didn't make a big deal about it at all. The only reason I went this time is because the last time I went there was for a date with my husband. We finished a bottle on wine so we were drunk and didn't know better. Also, the owner talked to us a lot of the time. That's super nice of him but also annoying if you are trying to have an intimate conversation. I went there for brunch as well once and it was an okay experience. Way better than the most recent time but it just proves that the place is just going down. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are many better places through out the bay to try that are actually good before having to come here.

Did a wine and paint here for a work retreat and when the chef heard I couldn't do the cheese on the pizza he made a couple without cheese. Superb service, they make a mean sangria, and the space was perfect for the painting session.

Saw this place in the Hilton guide book. Walked over on Friday afternoon and the place was empty. Brought my college daughter and her roommates here for wine flights and appetizers. The had good Happy Hour specials and the staff was super friendly. Our original server was actually the Chef who was helping out until the server who was running late came on duty. Good wine, good food, good Jazz!! Cheese dip appetizer is the bomb. Felt bad leaving when the band started cause they were playing to an empty audience at that point. Hope the place makes it. For $10 you can get some wine and a good appetizer. Would definitely do it again next time in Tampa

I'm here on Valentine's Day. Reservations made at 8:30. Got here at 8:30 no one greeted me until after I called in and told them I was standing at the front door. That was 20 minutes later. Ordered a seltzer water never got it. Ordered a beer , had to get it my self from the bar after waiting 15 minutes. Been here almost 2 hours. Still haven't gotten my dinner. This place sucks ass waitress has a horrible attitude . Didn't eve apologized for never getting me my beer. Never coming again . DO NOT RECOMEND to any one. Apetizer trio tasted like it came out of a can. Crackers out of a box and stail..... Worst place in tampa.... Taco bus next door has much better service and food.no stars by the way but had to click one in order to post

Do you like wine? Do you like cheese? Do you like jazz music? Do you like wine, cheese, and jazz all at once? Then Crumb & Cork is the place for you. I have been to Crumb & Cork on two different occasions: once for a date night with the boyfriend and once as part of a group for a friend's birthday. It was a great setting for both situations. First of all, I love the fact that Tampa's downtown is growing a bit more and that a place like this is now available. Second of all, I also love that this place offers a less noisy alternative than some of the other date night spots in the area. The jazz is not overpowering like at some places. The food and wine are both very good. Regarding the flatbreads, I have tried quattro formaggi and provencal options. The flatbreads were actually my least favorite of the items I have tried. They were decent, but a little overcooked (cheese was too brown and they were a bit dry). I have also tried the Raclette with chorizo on the side. It tasted great, but I was disappointed at how little cheese you actually get considering the price. My absolute favorites thing has been the tableaux. We had the manchego, jamon serrano, drunken goat, chorizo, mixed olives, and higo one , which was fantastic. It was a beautiful presentation, and I regret not taking a picture at the time. I also tasted my friend's Classic Swiss fondue, which was off the chain. A couple of downsides: the service was slow both times I visited. Another issue that came up on my most recent visit is that you could not just order a water - you had to buy a bottle of Evian for the table ($4 I believe) if you wanted to just drink water. This is just weird and I have not seen this at other restaurants. Maybe they are trying to encourage people to always drink wine since they would have to pay for water anyway? It was especially annoying to my boyfriend who does not drink alcohol. The crowd tends to be a bit older here (a lot of people in their 40s and 50s) but I do not mind, as it means things are less noisy. I would definitely suggest this place for an intimate date night or a smaller gathering of friends, as it is not a huge venue. It has a fancy feel, so you can have an excuse to dress up if you want one, although you definitely do not have to dress up too much. After all, this is still Florida.

The decor is very minimalist but cute and intimate with couches as well as tables and bar. When we went there was a Match.com even which was entertaining to watch. They have a very extensive wine and champagne menu to choose from. It was a wednesday night so all the champange was half of bottles so my friend and I ordered a bottle of the Piper-Heidsieck Brut Florens and the suggestion of the bartender, Josh and it was amazing! Jackie was our server and she did a great job. They bring out the bottle with this little sparkler on the side which makes for a cute presentations. For for we ordered the Parma flatbread which was amazing!! It had prosciutto, cheese, tomatoes and a balsamic glaze on it. We then ordered a meat an cheese platter which was also amazing that had goat cheese, a fruit cheese, duck, salami, mustard and honey and came with a mini a baughette. You also can build your own platter if you choose to as well. For desert we ordered the raspberry fondue which came with marshmallows, star berries, rice krispies and bananas. Everything tasted amazing! My fiancé stopped in and ordered a beer and a salad and liked his food as well. Once the Match.Com even was in full swing 6-8pm, it was hard to get service, which I understand because it got very busy but was a little frustrating. it seamed to take forever to get our checks and then to split them (we had a CL deal). Overall, I will def. be back! I will just make sure to avoid any Match events!

I was able to try this place out for a friend's recent birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprised that this gem existed in downtown. Wednesdays are half price bottle nights and lent itself to a very champagny evening. The owners were very accommodating to our large party, that had a reservation, and the overall ambiance of this place was great for the occasion. The lighter fare menu works well in conjunction with the champagne specialties this place serves and is just the right balance without leaving you feeling overly full with all the decadent bubbles you will consume here.

It is not a good sign when you enter a wine bar and are told that the special is champagne? Okay, move on to the wine as the sign outside the restaurant says $3 wine special. Well, that is only white wine. Move to the red and they had a $4 wine special that was quite nasty. Next, we tried to understand the progressive happy hour and our waitress couldn't explain it to us. To give her the benefit of the doubt it turned out that she has a crisis at home but still it was quite confusing for us. On to the food... Wine bar= charcuterie to me! I figured lets get the chef's choice. What a mistake. Out came commercial pepperoni and blue cheese with mustard and pickles. I swear it tasted like Trader Joe's pepperoni and blue cheese. When I explained to the waitress that I was disappointed she just looked at me as it to say "sucks for you, hey?" The steak au poivre, half price early bird special, was actually quite good. Overall, this place was a disappointment to me and I would not go back.

My fiancé and I tried this place for the first time last night. We were excited that there was live jazz that wasn't too loud. There are not a lot of places to go for live music that can also maintain a nice talking atmosphere! The bartender who say us was very nice and greeted us when we walked in. We sat at a nice couch area next to the band which was perfect, because we could listen to the music without having to yell over each other to talk. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, the cheese dip and a flat bread. The cheese dip was delicious! It was light and fluffy and not greasy at all. The fig and prosciutto flat bread was also delicious, we added bacon with gave it the perfect amount of crispness. I only wish the crust would have been a little thicker because it was hard to eat being so thin. The only complaint I had was that our service was a little slow. The waiter only came back to check on us when we made eye contact with him. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves wine and jazz! Next time I want to try the cheese boards because those are my favorite!

I'm obsessed with Crumb&Cork. Closes.... whenever, always funky, cool music, knowledgable and personable staff, cozy seating. Only thing that takes away from the experience in the wine bar is a lack of proper decor. The walls are too bare and staring at the basic racks of wine behind the bar gets a little old. a large vintage mirror, some chandelier decals from Target on the walls or found art, or even art by local Tampanians for sale like The Bunker offers, would all give this cool, hip place the edge that it needs. maybe minimalism is their thing? Anyway, the flatbread and charcuteries are to die for. Michelle M describes the one that I always get here so I am copying and pasting: "mixed cheese and charcuterie platter of prosciutto, salami, aged cheeses, and warm crusty bread served with pesto and olive tapenade." Yum, it's seriously so good. A little pricey, but worth it. The wine selection is great, would recommend a wine flight and let the bartender put one together for you, based on your tastes. Get the flatbread, too. Beer selection, though small, is a good mix. Plenty of pricey champagne and bubbly for the fancy drinker, as well. rando notes: The music on weekends is a great bonus. Don't think I would sit outside but maybe in the fall.

This place has a lot going for it. The interior is current yet inviting and I like the lounge chairs/table area. The food is done well enough. Though the portions are a bit small. The waitstaff are all friendly as well. One thing that really bugs me about this place is that you have to pay for bottled water as they won't give you anything else. If I am spending a bunch of money on wine and food, the last thing I want to spend more money is water. Get rid of that aspect and it would be a 4 star for me.

Love this place! We were lucky to come in on a slower Monday night and had the opportunity to chat with the owner. He is one of the sweetest, most likeable folks you'll ever meet. The wine is amazing. I'm a Target wine aficionado (haha). It was nice that someone who knew his stuff so well was very open to talking about the wine without being snobby about it. Food? Don't get me started. We pigged out. We were told the fondue is a smaller portion, meant to be an app but I thought it was perfect. Especially when followed by the delicious flatbreads. I was stuffed when I left. Really great place!

I had been so looking forward to trying this place so we came after seeing a film at Tampa Theatre. It was okay. There is a robust cheese selection and the opportunity to make your own charcuterie plate, which is unique and the only reason I'm giving it a 3. The wine list was okay. We opted for two cheeses, bread, homemade pesto and hummus - all were good. Our service was abrupt and lacked warmth. What prohibited me most from loving this place was the atmosphere. My favorite jazz places have an intimate vibe to them. Crumb&Cork feels like someone tried for California sparse and came up short: The area behind the bar is disorganized, the bathrooms reminder me of a Holiday Inn lobby restroom; it was neither comfortable nor welcoming. The food did not make up for the rest of it. It is unlikely we will return.

While my overall experience left a damper towards my feelings on this place, I see its potential and why people may like it. My main problem was that it took an hour to get our appetizers and 2 hours to get our entrees. The place was packed, but it's also small, so accommodating for the amount of people there shouldn't be a problem. But it was. After our hour long wait my table of six received two meat/cheese platters, which were fantastic. Eating the platters while listening to live jazz is obviously this place's forte, and they should maybe just stick with that combo. After waiting another hour our main dishes arrived. I got their mushroom sauced-based chicken dish, which was overcooked. The same is true for the other person at the table who ordered chicken. My colleagues who ordered steak dishes were satisfied with their food, and I was satisfied with my well prepared mashed potatoes, but the long wait paired with dry chicken just didn't sit well for me. Maybe it was an off night, but as a visitor to the Tampa area it was a waste of time.

Great wine and champagne selection and they have beef sausage so not everything is pork! They have live JAZZ every weekend. Not many jazz bars in Tampa!

Went here for the 4th of July for a live jazz show and had fun. Very pleasant atmosphere. Hubby and I sat at the bar and were personally served by the infamous Josh. :0) I had the caprese salad and hubby had the carne flatbread, both of which were very tasty. I would definitely go back. As a side note, after reading some of Josh's (owner) responses to reviews on here I was looking forward to meeting him. He was very helpful with my wine selections and kept my water glass full all night, which I very much enjoyed.

A nice new spot in downtown Tampa that's ideal for a date night or a small group outing. I've gone to dinner a few times and enjoyed ourselves on every visit. The wine selection is very extensive, considering the relatively small size and minimalist ambience. I've tried all 3 types of cheese fondue, as well as several flatbreads and desserts. I'd recommend starting with the Salame flatbread, followed by the New England cheese fondue, and then finish up with the Thin Mint chocolate fondue. The pesto on the flatbread will really whet your appetite, which will be satisfied by the savory cheese fondue, then made complete by the sweet, minty dessert. Service can be a little slow, and we were forced to purchase Evian water at one of our visits instead of offering just regular tap water, which was quite annoying. Still, this place is worth a visit, especially if you want to listen to some live jazz or find a new spot to take you significant other.

I first heard about Crumb&Cork when the upcoming Yelp event was announced. Anything with "Cork" in the name quickly gets my attention as I'm a big ole wino. I decided I couldn't wait until the upcoming event to try it out and arranged a brunch with friends. The brunch was somewhat of a last minute thing, so I was really excited when I got a response to my e-mail asking for reservations in under 30 minutes. When we arrived, I was quickly impressed by the classy atmosphere and told my fiance' that we need to come back for a date night. I was thrilled to see that they have an All You Can Drink Mimosa deal on Sundays for $15 and, knowing that I was going to be there for a while, ordered that. The service was outstanding from the second we sat down. We chatted with our waiter, Matthew, and the owners quite a bit and they were all very friendly and accommodating. I was impressed with how generous they were with the Mimosas as I have been to other "All You Can Drink Mimosa" brunches before where they are a bit stingy with it, but not here. They made sure our glasses were full at all times. On to the food! My fiance' and I shared a Caprese Salad and I had the Salame's Flatbread. Yum and yum - so fresh and delicious (and pretty at that). Everyone at the table said that they were happy with their meals and we left full and tipsy, just how I like to end a good brunch. I cannot wait to come back to Crumb&Cork. On Wednesdays they have half of Champagne (seriously...!?) and I'm also intrigued by their wine flights and Charcuterie offerings. Great addition to the downtown scene!

I really wanted to like this place, and MAYBE I'll go back to give it another shot. Went with my wife and sister-in-law, and a few friends for my sister-in-law's birthday and were seated right away. The live jazz music was a plus and the menu did have a lot of offerings, but the service was very lackluster. We ordered Charcuterie which tasted very good, a Bruschetta app, Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread, and Cheese Fondue for the table...the charcuterie was the only thing that made it. We waited for about 45 minutes for the server to come back and ask us if that was enough food to which we responded that we never received the rest of it...she ran off, didn't come back for another 20 minutes to apologize or anything...when you go out and pay good prices for food and drink, you expect good service to which we did not receive. Again, I may have to give it another try, but we'll see!

My first time there and the service was absolutely horrible the waiter, Joseph, could care less about attending to us and every time we order something he said "well we're having a party later I don't know if we have that." Ironically I found out he was one of the owners.

Yes... I LOVED this place so much. When I first walked in, I thought, "man, this place has a really great vibe." I was not wrong. First of all, when you walk in, there's a man playing jazz. How can you go wrong there? We sat down and our server immediately came up to us and asked what we wanted to drink. There's a mimosa deal, so, that was a no brainer. We were constantly asked if we wanted an appetizer, refill on our drinks or if were ready to order our meal. I was very pleased at how wonderful the staff was. Our server got my table's sense of humor which made it all the better. (We weren't exactly the classiest that this particular brunch). While on this subject, the air conditioner was broken and the staff also came by and sprayed Evian on us so we weren't warm. I immediately started singing the theme song to "The Jeffersons" b/c this was when I knew I was 'movin' on up' in the world. I had the pleasure of getting the Goat Cheese Salad. YUM! I loved the flavor, and let's face it, anything with goat cheese is going to be a winner! All in all I really enjoyed my experience at the Crumb&Cork and I really can't wait to go back! New fave place to brunch? I think so!

The Crumby Cork I first visited Crumb & Cork with an enthused vendor while visiting Tampa back in April. She could not wait to take me there for dinner so I was ready to be impressed. The place was nice, clean, and the service was great but it was so hot in there. According to our server, the AC had just gone out that afternoon. Funny thing is, the people sitting next to our table said they had been there two weeks prior and were told the AC had just gone out then as well. As for the food, not bad - everything I tried was a bit salty for my taste. Nothing is house-made, according to our server and substitutions are not allowed. The wine selection has lots to choose from. A bit over-priced but the live music made up for it. The vendor I was with asked for a glass of a specific wine she wanted me to try. The server said that she was not allowed to open a new bottle unless she knew the customer would purchase more than two glasses of it. Wow! The extensive selection was suddenly reduced to the 10 or 12 bottles that were currently open. When we asked for a different wine from the selection of open bottles, she returned with two different wines - the one we asked for, and another because the first bottle only had one glass left. Not impressed! Fast forward to July. We went back to Crumb & Cork - it's within walking distance from my vendor's office and she insisted we revisit. We went in hoping for relief from the humidity outside. That didn't happen! We sat at the bar this time. When we asked for water, we were given the choice of "Evian or sparkling". I asked for tap water and we were told the restaurant does not serve tap water, only Evian or sparkling. LOL! Needless to say, we did not stay. To keep dry, we took a cab to a bar called The Fly and ended up having a much better experience than at the Crumby Cork.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to give this place more stars and here's why...this is one classy joint! It's so cute, romantically furnished, intimate and they play wonderful music. BUT here's why I only rated Crumb & Cork 2-stars...our friendly server Joseph had the grotesque smell of cigarettes (he literally had one right out front before greeting us). Although he was very nice I couldn't get past that disgusting smell. I also witnessed him stop taking another couples order to answer his cellphone & the another server had to assist them. Also, I had higher expectations for the quality of food. I literally hadn't eaten all day because I was looking forward to eating at Cork & Crumb but I was extremely underwhelmed. Initially, I asked for a water with lemon & Joseph said they were out of lemon. I then asked for mint, lime & cucumber and he said they didn't have any of those either but offered up a slice of orange (which he touched with his stale cigarette scented fingers) Keep in mind this is also a bar. What bar doesn't have lemon or limes? So I paid $1.50 for 1/2 glass of Evian that tasted like well water probably because it was tainted with the cigarette infused orange slice (it was gross). So I ordered a $3.00 ginger ale that was slighted watered down in my opinion. On to the food, I ordered a not so creamy & flavorless spinach dip and the Cipollini Flatbread which tasted as if it had been torched on a kerosene heater. But the crust was nice a crispy just like I like it. The sauce was not impressive, it was tomato pastie-ish! Honestly, I REALLY REALLY wanted to like this place more. I'll return for the love jazz music but I'll probably just have a salad & skip over next door to the TACO BUS afterwards. This place is probably amazing for those of you who like to relax with a glass of wine but I don't drink alcohol at all (eating is my vice...). So if you're looking for a mouthing food experience "fa get about it"!

This place is fancier than we thought. It's a classy wine and appetizer bar. While you can get a meal, don't go there with the intention of filling up. We had the caprese salad, hummus, and fig and prosciutto flatbread. All the food was amazing, but conservative on portions. The flatbread is something I will dream about; it was the perfect combination of sweet and salty and paired perfectly with moscato. The service was fantastic, we felt like a friend was serving us! Our server asked if we were going to a show at the Straz, when we said yes, he was highly aware of the time for us, giving us the time to really enjoy our drinks. I would go again but it would have to be a special occasion because it was pricy and small portions.

There's something for everyone at Crumb & Cork, an extensive appetizer selection with cheese selections beyond compare, followed by creative entrees at very reasonable prices, with accomplished jazz musicians and a very attentive staff, what a great find for our first night in Tampa!

I recently celebrated my birthday here with a group of 12 friends. Every Wednesday night they have 1/2 bottles of champagne and they go ALL OUT. Every bottle was adored with sparklers which really made it feel like a celebration! The owner served our table and was super friendly and accommodated all of our needs throughout the night. Since it was my birthday he was constantly making sure I was taken care of first and never had an empty drink. It was amazing service and he really went the extra mile to make me feel special. We ordered a ton of flatbreads for the table and they were all amazing. I think my favorite was the margarita one with the balsamic drizzle. For my main meal I ordered the chicken with a goat cheese and sundried tomato sauce served with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. It was super tasty and filling. I will definitely be back here in the future. I love the ambiance of the restaurant and feel it's a great hidden gem for date nights. Extra benefit: they have live jazz Wednesday-Saturday! Ps: The Piper-Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage with pink alligator skin was an amazing bubbly rose! YUM!

I love the Crumb & Cork. It is such a classy place to enjoy wine and cheese amongst amazing artists and performers. My boyfriend, a good friend, and I particularly enjoyed jazz rapper Alex Granata. There is a friendly vibe, and is a great place to just relax and enjoy some art and music.

Wasn't all impressed. Met my fiancé and her friend after work for a beverage and dinner. I ordered a beer, because I do not like wine. The her was decently priced, plus happy hour made it even better. The main problem I have here is the lack of sophistication with the food. The prices on the wine menu support a higher in dinning experience or at least food quality. I ordered the Bacon and Blue salad. The only thing that actually was good about it was the blue cheese itself. The rest just disappointed. Paying 14$ for a salad one would expect a well presented and high quality ingredients. Maybe addition of some other salad type vegetables would help. I feel that if i did not add crouton (generic bag croutons) all i would have gotten was romaine lettuce, blue cheese and bacon (and the piece of chicken I had to pay for). The blue cheese dressing tasted like kens blue cheese that you get out of the 1 gallon container that the generic food service industry buys. The piece of chicken was laughable!!! It said grilled chicken, so I took that as a fresh piece of chicken that they grill. It looked and tasted like the precooked frozen grilled chicken breasts that you can buy at box warehouse. The flatbread was ordered by the others in our group. The flat bread was good. In retrospect I should shave ordered one of those, might have been a little more appetizing. The atmosphere, price of the menu, and the quality of the food do not seem to line up. Sadly the night was ended with me dissatisfied and hungry. I walked a block and around the corner and ended at a pizza joint in which I bought two pieces of pizza and a garlic roll for 7.50$. It was super satisfying and made me feel less screwed on the 7$ parking I paid for to go here. The only advice I have is that if your going for the wine, the price might be worth it. If you are looking to enjoy a meal, go somewhere else or at least until this place invests into an actual kitchen and at least a decent cook/chef. Even with the CL deal we had (50$ for 25$) the salad was still not worth it.

Went back a second time for a dinner reservation with a group of 10 friends. Based off my first experience at Crumb & Cork, I suggested to my friends that they come try the place out. That night there were a couple of other tables seated and one other large group (I think they were having a wine tasting event). I decided to deduct two stars this go around for two reasons. One for poor quality of service. While there was only one server to take care of everyone that night, she also served as the only bartender. For the majority of my guests this was their first visit and they complained to me for even suggesting Crumb&Cork due to the poor service. We didn't blame the server since this was a management issue. Given that we made the reservation the day before and that there was another party that clearly planned their event ahead of time, management should've planned better in making sure there was enough staff to provide quality of service for both parties and any additional walk-ins. I deducted another point because I notified Crumb&Cork of my experience and never heard a response. I'll probably visit again on a blue moon but I won't be recommending it to any of my other friends again.

Cool concept, decent atmosphere unfortunately rude management and deceptive sales tactics. Use caution and ask about costs up front when ordering anything, even the water (another review states they won't serve tap water, probably because they can't charge for it.)

Came on a Sunday evening, there were very few people dining. Even though the portions were small the food was good and filling. There was also some live entertainment which wasn't bad.

Worst service I have ever gotten. They have no tap water hello health department? That is why they aren't allowed to serve prepared foods. Ugh. Wouldn't serve wines by the glass that are on the menu...hello, it's a wine bar! Food was lousy and took forever. They opened and charged us for water without asking. When I complained the waitress stormed off and later gave me the finger. I am NOT kidding. Stay away....this place is a total fake restaurant wine bar. Fake like the food and water

Absolutely LOVED this new treasure in downtown Tampa!! The atmosphere, the menu, the server and the owners are amazing!! My friend was in town visiting and I wanted to take her to some great places with good drinks and atmosphere. We started at Anise and I have been wanting to try Crumb and Cork since it opened. As a former downtown dweller I am soo thrilled for such a great new restaurant!! We had a lovely afternoon sipping sparkling rose, enjoying a few lovely cheeses and catching up outside on their comfy couches. I honestly can't wait to go back! Not only did they have a great cheese and wine selection, they also offer a little more substantial fare like flatbreads! My husband came and met us later that afternoon and he was happy he was able to get his Stella! There is truly something here for everyone! It is so exciting to have fun new restaurants in downtown - with additions like Crumb & Cork and Anise Downtown is quickly becoming a true hotspot!!

It's was not too bad. However, it's expensive for okay good. Spent 70 dollars for a flatbread pizza, two glasses of wine and spinach dip. They want to make it an upscale restaurant but the food is poor and it's downtown tampa.

We went here last night and at first I thought it was a cool place. We wanted food and the menu is really limited and not good if you are hungry, the same menu is for lunch and dinner. The service is pretty poor also. The main complaint is that they REFUSE to give you a glass of water. I was not able to drink alcohol. We all ordered dinner and also flat breads for the table, and each of the other people were drinking the wine which is not inexpensive for what it is. ( The wine is overpriced for this type of place). I was forced to buy a large overpriced bottle of water, so I could have something to drink with my dinner. The waiter was very apologetic and said everyone complains about the policy. He did however come by and continue to fill everyone else glass with my water, they were not drinking, so that he could run out the bottle and force me to order another. The food came late, in stages, and the service was not attentive. We asked for fresh pepper and was told they don't carry that. after asking 5 more times, we were brought out a pepper mill that you get in the supermarket that had 3 pepper corns left. in other words it was empty. Then they brought us another one and it was equally empty. At the end of the meal, the waiter came by ( we hadn't seen him for the entire meal) and asked if we needed anything, then commented that he just realized that he hadn't been by in a long time(like the entire meal) and said he was sorry. This place has potential, the music was good, after this experience and with them being such cheap people to not serve a glass of water, I will take my business elsewhere.

Great wine & cheese. Wines were wonderful. I got the golden ticket flight so they picked my wines for me.......great picks! But......very slow service for cheese plates. Owner was very attentive to everyone at the bar and servers were friendly. Love the place but you need to pick up the pace. Also you say "wine, cheese & jazz" but you did not play jazz. We listened to sweedish pop 40! Switch back to jazz please!

With much anticipation, we visited Crumb & Cork in downtown Tampa and were thrilled to see that a wine/jazz bar was entering the market. We applaud the owner/managers who took a risk on downtown and we very much want them to be successful. I will be going back. Now on to the opinion. Pro:s - Good wine list with unique varietals, tasty meat and cheese platters, respectable jazz talent and a great location. People greet you when you come into the door and the wait for food and wine is reasonable once seated. Con's: the aesthetic of the restaurant is a bit amateurish and cheesy/80's. The purple and black is not a particularly sophisticated or inviting decor choice, my opinion is that it should have been modeled after wine rooms in Napa Valley or French wine bars (rustic, stylish and warm). None of those aspects were present here, instead it was austere, modern, and a bit cold. Prices - the prices are probably what they need to be for the business to make a profit, but all there good wines are in excess of $12/glass which makes a night out there a pricey endeavor. Staff: A bit awkward, pacing, not super-knowledgeable about the wine list, and those purple wigs, are you kidding me? Unnecessary, and bordering on bizarre. Overall, a great asset for downtown. A few tweaks and I think this place could be on its way to real success.

In the event you go to Crumb&Cork, do not order the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. It is the worst thing I have had in a while. First off, the non-romaine lettuce was soaked in dressing. The chicken was processed and had fake grill marks. I mean really? I paid $13 for that crappy salad. I went next door to Taco Bus and got fish tacos. Don't get me wrong. Joshua was pleasant, the decor is pleasing. The salad shall we say SUCKS OUT LOUD!!! Did you guys cross the street and kill pidgeons in the park to get those little fake grilled breasts to put in the salad? It will be several weeks before I even walk past that place. I know Tampa is trying to urbanize themselves and get hip.....This is not the way to do it. You want people to come back so you may want to go and educate your chef on what a REAL Caesar Salad looks and tastes like. First impressions guys.......

This place was a highlight of our visit to Tampa. Joshua and his staff were amazing and very knowledgable about wines. We had a cheese and prosciutto plate and a flat bread which was made perfectly. The vibe is certainly relaxed and great for sitting with friends and having some wine and snacks. Great beer list also. This isn't a loud place, so you can just soak in light jazz music and on the nights they have live music it would be a treat. Id give this another star if I could...it's a must stop place!!!

So I went to Cumb & Cork to get a salad for lunch. I felt as though, how could you screw up a salad. I didn't eat there, I took my Chef salad back to the office and when I opened it up the display was awesome. It looked so tastey and fresh. As I started to dig into the salad the leaves of lettuce were not so fresh looking. Some of them were very old and almost gooey. I threw away most of the salad leaves, everything else in the chef salad appears to be fresh. A place like this, I would think they would take more pride in giving the customer a fresh salad, especially for $10. I should have just sent to FRESH, where they specialize in salads. Even the bagel place has better and fresher salads. I wont' totally write off this restaurant because they made a lousy salad. I'll have to give the other food items and the wine a try.

I cannot believe this place has such a strong rating on Yelp. I just had lunch here and it was a terrible experience. I was with one other person and we ordered two very plain sandwiches and had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. We ordered water only to later find out that they charge three dollars for each bottle of water they bring you. The bottles are the larger glass bottles you put on your table and share. They are clearly refilled with water as the seals are broken when they come out. Typically this is done so waitresses don't have to keep refilling your glass so I didn't think to ask "are we paying for this water?" and we certainly were not told by our waitress. Our sandwiches had very little meat on them and were a terrible value. Overall I ended up paying 35 dollars for two sandwiches and water. The place was literally empty at 1pm, I guess everyone else in downtown Tampa has had the same lunch experience as us. Maybe they do a better business at Dinner based on the reviews here but lunch is overpriced and very slow. I will not return.

Crumb & Cork has become our new go to for relaxing and catching up. The owners are clearly passionate about their restaurant, wine, cheese, and menu. They are very knowledgeable, eager, and ready to ensure you have the best experience by meeting your individual tastes. They have never failed to find me a wine I love and cheeses I savor. The decor has upscale details, but the atmosphere remains casual, which is perfect for unwinding, date night, or out with friends. The flat breads are amazing. Very flavorful with a thin, crisp crust. Lastly, If you like the best personable service, sit at the bar (not that the service is any less at a table).

A little pricey. Spent $45 on a salad, flatbread, and two glasses of wine. Food and service were both okay. However I did not like the fact that this restaurant refuses to give its customers a glass of water even when requested. They sell bottled water, but will not give you a free glass of water even when you order a meal and drinks. I will not go back.

I think so!

Came here for lunch with a friend during the week. We each ordered a lunch portion flatbread and salad combo. Everything was okay. The atmosphere seems kind of cool, but it was hard to tell in the middle of the day. Would like to come back at night and sea how the wine/champagne is.

This is a superb spot for wine and jazz. My wife and I came by for a glass of wine and ended up staying for hours until close! The owners are extremely friendly and engaging.

Joshua (the owner) is fabulous. Amazing champagne, cheese boards and customer service. The place is very clean. The noise level is appropriate. Joshua made sure we were happy and everything we needed. I will definitely be back...

I went to Crumb & Cork TWICE the first week it was open! The place has a great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and the food is excellent! The fondue is out of this world and you cannot beat the unlimited mimosa's at brunch on Sunday!

GO.

Had a wonderful time at Crumb & Cork! It has a nice cozy atmosphere! The wine & cheese was excellent! The jazz duo was awesome & they even let me sing with them! The Happy Hour was great! Joshua & Joseph the Owners, were great Hosts!! Met some nice people their. If I am ever in Tampa again I definitely will go back! If you live in Tampa, check it out, you will not be disappointed!
