Last night, I was so THRILLED to learn that they offered an Oriental Chicken Salad and it was time limited offer. Oh my god, this salad was fabulous! The price was a little bit pricey! The amount of the salad was perfect! Their mini cholocate chip cookies were so fresh! I would recommend you to try their fresh salad! Worth it! This place has a lot of spaces and it is perfect! Self served for drinks. The cashiers were so nice at this time I visited.

Absolutely LOVE the food here so far (new to Florida). Have tried the Summer Salad and the Crab Salad. Have tried the tuna salad sandwich and have tried one of their trios. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. Really clean and good friend staff. My only recommendation would be to make this a traditional waiter/waitress restaurant.

I satisfied my Crispers craving tonight after a couple of years living outside of Florida. Their veggie Cobb salad (broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes, crumbled Bleu cheese and avocado over lettuce) has been dancing in my head in the manner of "visions of sugarplums". It was as good as I remembered. Jodi enjoyed the Kicken Crab chowder, but found her small garden salad drab. We also shared a banana split cheesecake (cheesecake topped with banana cream, chocolate, whipped cream, and a cherry -- but nut-free). It was good enough that I was only able to "share" a forkful, and only under protest. From what I've heard, now that Publix owns the Crispers chain in its entirety, they're retooling for world domination, overhauling their operations to prepare for expansion beyond Florida. I know I'll be thrilled when they move into Atlanta.

This Crispers location is amazing. The food is excellent, the price is on par with what you would expect to pay for a great deli experience. The staff is excellent. They check on my meal, offer free refills and are always kind. The food is fresh, tasty and amazing. Love this place! Kid rating: great kids menu and incentives for eating healthy. The kids club offers .99 meals with the purchase of an adult meal. You do need to purchase a t-shirt for $3.99 and bring it with you, but I just keep them in the car.

My son goes here a lot and likes it. I went with him and my 2 year old Grandson. Not very good service and some of the food was not that hot. We stood in line to order and were given a number to display. Food took about 20 minutes to come out. Just sandwiches, so you wonder about how the kitchen help is supervised. Strike One. They made a mistake with my order, giving me Tuna salad in a bowl instead of the tuna salad sandwich I ordered. Strike Two. Ordered chicken strip kids meal for Chase Michael (the 2 year-old) and they came out very spongy and rubbery. Looked like they were frozen and nuked---and not nuked very well. Strike three. My son apologized for them since he really likes the place. His turkey--something--delight was pretty tasty. My tuna salad was way, way, way over mayo-ed. More like goop. I would save my money and go somewhere else. My son wants me to give them another chance. We'll see!

Great place to go for soup and salad. They also offer a wide selection of fresh sandwiches and kids meals for the little ones. I have had issues with the service here, but it's gotten much better lately. The butternut squash soup is amazing, and the new Cuban is a neat twist on the standard.

Food as usual is very good, but the inside was filthy! There were 13 dirty tables, most of them booths. Floor was also disgusting, not enough help? Maybe hiring more people would solve the problem.

This place is a cute place if you want to pick up something for dinner or lunch or snack this is a good place. They have some health items in here too and they have tasty soup!

Not many gluten free choices. If you are gluten free there is a couple of soups and salads (with many salad dressings) to chose from. I love the tomato bisque (not a gluten free option).

I LOVE this place! The place has a kind of healthy-ish vibe to it (wether or not it is, I cannot comment for certain). The salads here are AWESOME, even if you're not a "salad person", the SUMMER SALAD in particular is out-of-this-world (don't be afraid of fruit on a lettuce salad, I was at first too, it's spectacular!) Only problem is that the portions are not all that big and the prices are a tad high for said portion size. I wish we could have one of these in Washington state.

If anyone ever suggests eating at Crispers; take them up on it! I promise it'll be a good meal. I was on my way out of town and my mom and I needed a place to meet my sister for lunch; she suggested Crispers and I was like "oh ok good plan; sounds like a fun place"! When we arrived we were able to review the menu. It was a hot day outside and so I knew I wanted a salad; but I also wanted a sandwich....so I guess a half and half was appropriate! I ordered a half summer salad with half turkey sandwich. (See Pictures) As you can tell they were pretty generous in the amount of food given. My sister also ordered the summer salad and I think my mom ordered a sandwich of some sort with another kind of salad. It all looked so good! After ordering we got our drinks and found a table. The food was ready pretty quickly and they brought it right out to the table for us! What service! Overall, I enjoyed my meal and was pretty stuffed for the remainder of the day. I kind of wish we had a Crispers in the STL area. I would visit more often.

Went here for lunch today. We had been here a number of years back and my memory told me that it wasn't something I would write home about. I had a bowl of chowder and a 1/2 turkey delite sandwich along with a soda. My wife had a bowl of butternut squash and a chicken pecan salad sandwich and a soda. $23 and change. The soups are good, no doubt about it. The turkey sandwich had two very thin slices of turkey along with a small amount of sauce, a tomato slice on a crisp roll style sandwich. Looking at the price and what we got, I said for a couple of bucks more, we could have gone to dinner at Sweet Tomatoes and had a couple bowls of soups that I like. The soup is good/great. The sandwich...I've had better, much better. The price appears to be a couple bucks a person too high. Will I go back again. With a number of sandwich shops in the area and Sweet Tomatoes as well, probably not.

Great, friendly staff. My order came missing something I had added and the manager corrected it quickly and brought the food to my table with a smile and an apology. The meal was delicious and everything looked and tasted very fresh.

Our family really likes Crispers. It's great when we want lighter fare at a reasonable price. The soups are great as well as the flatbreads and sandwiches. The service is always quick and courteous. It's a regular staple on our dinner choice list.

Great location right off Dale Mabry in a busy shopping center. Nice spot for grabbing lunch or a quick dinner. Their dining area is quite large and can accommodate quite a few people, and the menu is similar to what you'd find at Panera (and just as pricey). We stopped in on a Tuesday night around 6, and ordered a couple half sandwich (french dip), 2 flat breads, and 2 bowls of soup. It did take about 25 minutes for the food to make it to our table, but when my husband joined us shortly after and placed his order of a cold sandwich, it came much quicker. So maybe hot items equal a much longer wait. The location is clean, and the employees are friendly. The french onion soup was really delicious, and I would recommend. The flatbreads were okay, but nothing special. They do serve dessert there (gelatos and cookies) but we didn't try them. Several kid options, such as Kraft Mac & Cheese, which are sure to please.

3 stars for the carrollwood location and 4 stars for the food. I first discovered Crispers in Largo and have been hooked on the chain ever since. I love salads and soups, especially when they are tasty and have the right balance. Crispers uses good greens on their salads and the soups are to die for. My favorite soup is the tomato bisque, but the others are really good too. I flip around on the salads, sandwiches and flatbreads. I like the half and half options and go for them most of the time. I'm also known to leave with a quart of soup. This isn't my favorite location in Tampa bay, since it's just in a shopping plaza without a great view, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. The store itself is comfortable, but it can't beat the Safety Harbor location. This location is closest to me so when I'm in the mood this is it.

My MIL was in the mood for a salad and a sandwich. So we decided to check out Crispers because we had never heard of it before. It sounded like a Panera. For $25 we got a half and half combo of a blt sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheese soup, sweet tea, a Cobb salad, and a kids meal with a chocolate shake. My salad was huge and fresh. The jalapeño ranch dressing was good. But it was nothing special- I could have made it at home. The same goes for pretty much everything else we got. They certainly were very nice, and the food came quickly. I don't see myself coming back again, not because it was bad, but because it was average in taste, and there are so many more places I need to explore.

This has quickly become one of my " Go to" lunch spots in the Carrollwood area. I like to think of it as a nicer version of Panera. Located in a busy plaza ( Right next to Glow Golf! Sounds like a winning combo to me!) on North Dale Mabry, Crispers is a wonderful alternative to all the belly aching fast food joints in the area. With quite the variety of both soups and sandwiches, no one should have any issue finding something that tickles their taste buds. The location is large enough to comfortably sit a large crowd, but at the same time, at least in my experience, has never felt overly mobbed. It's much cleaner than most fast food joints and the staff is very friendly. No big waits for your food either which is always a plus.

I have a mixed relationship with Crispers. I love the idea of their menu, pairs options, and the food is always tasty. But then...there is always one or two things I wish were different about nearly every menu item. I adore turkey sandwiches and often get their Smoked Turkey Delight. But I often forget to trade out the multigrain bread for something a little less...healthy tasting. I love soup, but I am just not a huge fan of many of their standard offerings (broccoli cheese, loaded potato). Back in the day, I remember a little more variety/diversity in the soup offerings, but maybe over time most people wanted the same options available visit after visit. A few newer options that I really like is the Trio menu - which offers side salads, a slider, soup and other small portion options that allow you to pick 3. I am also LOVING the addition of flatbread salads which pair their flatbread options with simple salads. The Margarita flat bread salad has everything - toasty, crunchy bread, ripe tomatoes, and some greens to round it out. On a recent visit, I tried a seasonal offering - a turkey cranberry sammie. It was pretty darn good!

After a week of very filling business lunch & dinner meetings I was ready to get back into a healthy eating style, and Crispers was there for me. The first Crispers was founded in Lakeland, FL about 20 years ago, and if memory serves me correctly Crispers was owned by Publix up until recently before they were sold off to different ownership. The chain has about 30 restaurants in Florida with an emphasis on health-conscious fare and a menu that consists mainly of salads, soups and sandwiches. Our closest Crispers is located in the North Carrollwood / Northdale area right off N. Dale Mabry Highway. You'll find it across the street from Sam's Club / Home Depot just north of Northdale Boulevard. The menu offers a wide range of homemade soups, salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, wraps, baked potatoes, and more. It's a nice mix of healthy eating options including vegetarian, gluten-free, and low-cal choices for everyone. For my dinner I ordered the Kickin' Crab Chowder which was a thick and creamy corn chowder to which they had added a healthy dose of lump crab meat. I liked this a lot! I also had their Asian Chopped salad which was a nice mixture of salad greens with shiitake mushrooms, cucumber, red pepper, tomato, red onion. basil, Thai chicken, ramen noodles, sesame seeds, toasted almonds, lo mein noodles, and Thai spicy peanut dressing. Very delicious! You should know that you can customize any of their salads by adding or eliminating various ingredients, and by changing out the dressings so that you get what you want. Definitely worth a visit if you're on the north side of Tampa.

Always pleased with the food. Staff is friendly and wait time is usually minimal. Prices are a little high for salads and sandwiches, but the quality is good.
