After several disappointing experiences I have decided that I am not a fan of Cold Stone Creamery. The prices are outrageous and the ice cream just isn't that good. There are so many ice cream/gelato/frozen yogurt options in Tampa so this is not my normal spot to grab a frozen treat. I made an exception recently and visited Cold Stone for their ice cream cakes. I purchased a Peanut Butter Playground Ice Cream Cake for my husband and was disapointed in the quality. The mini ice cream cake (feeds 6) is $23 and tastes like it has been sitting in the freezer for a couple of weeks. The combination of chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake and chocolate ganache were too sweet and I was disappointed in the lack of peanut butter. I think the cookies and cream or the cookie dough cake would have been a better choice. For the prices and lack of quality I would skip Cold Stone and go elsewhere.

So, I like ice cream and we like this shop a lot. I'm not here often, but a couple times a year... Not too many other spots that I like to go to just for ice cream (milkshakes are one place, frozen yogurt another place...). They have some very interesting flavors and combinations. I don't like that they don't do the punch cards anymore (but they will honor the old ones - IF ONLY I COULD FIND MY OLD CARD!!!) I don't like that they don't sing anymore when you give them a tip. Last visit, I had this oreo filling flavored ice cream, with oreos and fudge, Like It size. OMG The ice cream flavor was too much, I wish they offered a junior size. It was really yummy though but just way too rich. I ate the whole thing anyway. But, I really enjoy ice cream here!

It's a chain, but it's not bad in a pinch. This location has plenty of parking. The staff can be a little idiotic and/or indifference to service, but for "fast food ice cream," I don't have high expectations. I find most of the ice creams too sweet. Adding something that isn't sweetened like nuts helps, but I really wish they'd cut back on the sugar.

We went here today craving for ice cream and what we got was a 15 minute wait for some sort of churro specialty mix that the guy said would take 5 mins to make... After 12 mins my boyfriend approached him and he didn't recognize him and it took him a few seconds to register and say in his exact words "oh I forgot". Well when it came out he decides to put it in a to-go styrofoam container and said he added an extra scoop for the long wait.... Not exactly what we wanted because who can eat all that ice cream? Anyways the churro was hard and stale, extremely hard to chop up with the plastic spoon as well as the poor choice of container which ripped at the bottom from us trying to chop up the hard churro. I worked in customer service for years and know that if I screwed up that much on an order I need to comp the meal... Well it's one extra scoop too late... We will no longer be going to this establishment.

This is my favorite ice cream shop. I love all of the options, even though I get the same thing every time. My go to favorite is the cheesecake fantasy which is cheesecake ice cream with strawberries, blueberries and gram crackers. It is DELISH! Even though I think its amazing, If that's not your thing don't worry there are plenty of options for everyone.

I like this cold stone, except when this blonde hair guy is working, he is the only one thats really rude just because your smilling doesn't mean your not a nasty person when you speak to others. If I see him working I just turn around and try later....suckx your the only cold stoNe in the area!! Driving the distance to get it somewhere else might be better than his attitude.

I go out for ice cream maybe three times a year...so I don't mind the prices here as much. Lately I've been trying the signature items, and have now had each of the ones with a cake batter base. Love it. All in all, yeah, it's more expensive than other ice cream places. But if you're only an occasional indulger like me, nothing wrong with a little Cold Stone.

DO NOT GO HERE. Let me give you a little taste of Cold Stone Creamery on Neptune. Before today it had been at least 3 years since I had set foot in this store. Today I was reminded why. I walked in and ordered a "Love It" (medium) size mix-in of Sweet Cream and Oreo cookies. I asked the employee to put "extra Oreos" in mine, which he charged me for (6 dollars). When he gave me the cup I noticed it did not have a lot of Oreos but I thought, well, maybe they are mixed in inside the scoop. I was wrong. This was a lot of ice cream in a Love It size cup, and yet there were maybe 3 Oreo cookies mixed in. So I went back inside the store and complained to the employee. He promptly told me that in order to add more Oreos (a maximum of 2, according to him) he would have to charge me 1 dollar. So I guess they are expecting people to pay 7 dollars for a mixed-in dessert that really should cost the standard mix-in price (about 5 dollars). This is outrageous. If they are so hard-up that they feel the need to charge customers a dollar for 2 extra measly Oreo cookies, they must be in really bad financial shape. And of course, what they have now done is anger a customer who would have maybe started coming back to the store. Now I never plan to return. Not in 3 years. Not ever. Which will make their financial situation even worse. Nice job!

I am a fan of this chain but not this location. They are very skimpy on their serving sizes. Being a well traveled individual, I have visited Cold Stone in multiple states and this one has customer service issues. I most likely won't return. But all in all it is just anther cold stone. It's clean and the quality is what you would expect from the chain

Staff are friendly. One of them was playing the ukulele when I was there, which was a treat. I love Cold Stone. Yes the prices are high, but the quality is there. You deserve a treat every now and then. This location is great, parking in the lot can be a pain sometimes, but that's the area.

Good ice cream, especially the churro caramel ice cream. However as we sat and ate our ice cream, a lady who was leaving as we entered returned saying silently to a worker that her ice cream had a hair in it. So that's why it gets three stars.

Never disappointed with the ice cream served up here. Peanut Butter Cup Perfection is the wonderful marriage of creamy chocolate ice cream mixed with smooth peanut butter, crushed Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and a ribbon of rich fudge sauce.
