General Tso Chicken was Great, Crispy and flavorful! Egg roll was nice and crispy too. Pork Fried Rice was also good. The Best Chinese fast food I've had since moving to Florida 15 years ago! Too bad I live 30miles from here. Next time I am in the neighborhood I'll be back!

China Dragon has healthy portion sizes and very reasonable delivery in the area. For what it is, takeout or delivery, it gets the job done.

I have finally found my new go to fast food Chinese restaurant. Score one for me! Ever since moving to Seminole Heights, I have been on the hunt for good take out Chinese. I have found some other places in the neighborhood that are okay, but the insides always sketched me out a bit. I can tell you, China Dragon is CLEAN and the food is pretty good. Nothing gourmet by any means, but a close, cheap, and yummy take out Chinese restaurant which I will surely order from in the future. Free spring roll with every meal !

The sweet and sour chicken was bland. The actual sweet and sour sauce wasn't as flavorful or tangy as other places. Had to pick out hard pieces when eating the Bourbon Chicken. The only thing that was decent was the Lo Mein, except I recommend getting it sans shrimp,

Horrible...the special fried rice was so bland and no flavor. The bbq ribs the meat was so tough-tasted like they recooked old meat. The crabmeat ragoon- all dough not enough filling. Egg / Spring rolls-greasy.the tso/sesame and sweet sour chicken all taste the same and meat very dry. Be my first and last visit. Would I recommend- Nooooo. They dont even deserve 1 star. They need to hire better cooks.....

I have been to so many "fast food" Chinese, but this one stood out. It was not great, but for what it is, it is good. Location was clean and staff pleasant, even though I wasn't sure they understood me. I ordered their Mongolian beef. For once the meat did not have that boiled taste and texture. It was good and not too chewy. Mongolian beef can be way too hot or completely bland. They have a great flavor that you break a sweat, but don't burn your tounge! Had lots of beef and a few too many green onions ( never thought I would say that). It was good, the spice was right and it was easilly good for 2 meals. Yes I will return. I hate that spongy boiled beef. What's a girl to do? They say no MSG and it's true.

I have lived in Seminole Heights the last two years and let me tell you... this place is the BEST CHINESE TAKE OUT IN TAMPA!! They have my order ready in 10 minutes every time and it is always correct. The food is always hot and best part is that it is very good. General Tsao Chicken is my favorite!!

Ordered: Shrimp Toast Orange Chicken General Tsao The shrimp toast was OK, I had it for leftovers the next day and became sick as a dog. I did not research if they use MSG which could be why I felt that way. Orange chicken was bla. All you could taste was the citrus flavor of the orange and no combination with the sauce. It was way too over powering. The General Tsao was pretty good. Overall it was fresh and not hard/over cooked like allot of chinese restaurants do.

Curry chicken is epic! Sweet Tea is really good! I do not like Sweet Tea, but there's is awesome. Also, they have Bruce Lee photos!

Ate here again over Christmas break, and I'm going to bump them up a star. Very clean restaurant and kitchen, and my food was consistently good. The egg roll I got was one of the best I've had - it was fried just right and wasn't greasy. Come to think of it, all of their fried food is fried well. Friendly people behind the counter, too.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
