A $5 breakfast that'd be $7-10 anywhere else can't be beat! Friendly staff and quick service. It's too bad it's tucked away in a little plaza that can't be seen from Fletcher. They also offer a 10% discount to USF students.

I've been to Central Park Restaurant a few times now, mostly on the weekend, mostly in response to the question "Where can we get breakfast cheap?". And it certainly is inexpensive. Ignore the menu prices; each of the dozens of omelets is perpetually on sale for $5 including toast and a side of fries. There are a few tables outside, and they're surrounded by greenery. And maybe some noise from the icemaker, but that's forgivable. Our servers have been friendly and quick to warn us of upcharges. It might be a bit out of the way (it's in a business park next to a hotel, but neither is visible from Fletcher Avenue), but it's worth a bit of a drive... especially on a weekend when the more visible bruncheries have 20-minute waits just for a table.

The Central Park Signature Omelette is my default order. I'm pleased every time. Like many have said, there are a ton of variations, good portions, and inexpensive. The service is great as well. If you like breakfasts, give this place a shot.

Okay... even though I should try something different on the menu, which has a variety of great meals to choose from, I'm a sucker for the Greek god wrap: grilled chicken, feta, tomato, lettuce... and Greek dressing goodness. The staff is very friendly and if you come here enough, begin to treat you like family. When in Temple Terrace, I highly recommend you stop in for lunch!

This place just changed ownership (NEW NAME: HAMBURGER HILL) and the food is terrible. My husband and I used to come here at least once a week before the change because the food an service were so great. The decor was changed to standard cookie cutter, everyone shops from the same store, decor. Even the smallest details like creamer and jelly were changed to an off brand. The food was terrible. This change must have happened a week before we went in, because the new owner was in there while we were trying to eat. Instead of saying hello and making light conversation, he was intrusive and watched his employee's like a hawk. It was very uncomfortable. The atmosphere of the old restaurant was gone, and we couldn't wait to leave. I feel sorry for the staff, as they are probably having to deal with the brunt of the change. Also, I noticed how everything was changed for quantity and not quality.....yet, the owner's new purple-ish Maserati was sitting right out in front of the restaurant. You can't tell me that was one of the employee's... Never going back!

This place is a hidden gem! $5 omelets! all the food prices are low compared to other lesser quality places. Staff was attentive and Jana even asked our names and knew many patrons well. Definitely going back!

My overall experience here was just OK. I ordered the open face turkey sandwich, because I had not had one in a long time, and it really appealed to me. However, I was disappointed when I got the sandwich, and the "turkey", was lunch meat. It could have been so much better with real turkey. I will say it has a nice ambiance, and the staff is friendly. I think the main attraction here is the breakfast, which is served all day. I might be willing to go back and try some breakfast food.

Simple traditional breakfast. No frills--just right! I love that this place is a true local family spot where the hard working people of the service industry come to dine and commune. The service is outstanding and the food is exactly what you need depending on your mood. If you like REAL scrambled eggs and the light taste of REAL butter in your good, this is HOME!! If you're coming to visit, don't forget to take pics of your food and post it here! It'd be great to have more pleasant Yelpy foodie shots!

Central Park Restaurant sits just inside a business park next to the La Quinta. Great local owned place owned by the family that runs the Central Park restaurants in Oldsmar and New Port Richey. I worked in the area for a number of years (2007-2010) and we used Central Park for a lot of our meeting catering. The staff and owners were great to work with and helped us create a few short catering "menus" so our participants had different choices each day (though some wanted the same thing 2 or 3 days in a row because it was so good!). Their particular favorites were Central Park's homemade soups, which many got as their side with a sandwich. Since moving on from that job (and moving to the other side of Tampa), I still drive over there to enjoy their awesome omelets on the weekends. They do a great deal of any omelets for $5 and serve breakfast all day on Sat and Sun. I can't recommend the Corned Beef Hash omelets highly enough. The hash is started on the griddle and the eggs poured over so there is hash embedded in the omelet. I always add cheddar for a delicious but indulgent breakfast. It comes with your choice of breakfast potatoes or hash browns and toast or grits. The gyro omelet is really good too - delicious slivers of griddle-browned gyro meat with the option to add feta. For lunch or dinner - they do an excellent cheeseburger. I'm a sucker for bacon and BBQ sauce on my burgers so the Liberty Bell is my burger of choice. I've also enjoyed their Greek dinner specialties - particularly the Chicken Slouvaki. All in all - pleasant, clean restaurant, amazing variety of good food, and really friendly staff and owners. Everyone needs a good little diner and this is my favorite in the Tampa Bay area. You should check it out!

This just became my new favorite place to order food from when im at work! I can't say anything about the restaurant itself, but the delivery service completely impressed me. Located in the Temple Terrace area, Central Park specializes in breakfast foods and to my surprise, delivers quickly(25 min) and the food was fresh and delicious! And even better, CHEAP. There is NO delivery minimum, and there is NO delivery fee. I ordered a breakfast combo of scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast, and bacon for 5$ and added on two (huge) pancakes for 3$, after tax and tip it ended up being around 11$. Its not the best food ive ever had, but the service, inexpensive prices, and ease of it all forces me to not go below 5 stars on this one. Thanks CP, im sure you'll get many repeat orders from me.
