The newly decorated restaurant has a nice open feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Their tortilla soup and tostada pizza is my favorite thing to Oder every time I go there. I went there at lunchtime and it was pretty packed for a weekday. Enjoyed their flavor of the month drink - a strawberry line margarita - divine on a hot summer florida afternoon!!!

I really like the three cheese pizza! The service was nice but slow, or I would have given 5 stars! Overall this chain has consistent food quality from CA to FL and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a little taste of California! Oh yeah, they gave my daughter a huge free ice cream sundae for her bday!

The reconfigured interior greatly improved the flow of this smallish CPK. The main bar area now faces windows overlooking the mall (for improved people watching). Hopefully this redesign will make its way to other CPKs since the kitchen-facing bars are usually dead. The menu now includes halibut. Don't expect a sophisticated and perfectly-executed dish like the cedar plank salmon. The halibut sits on a bed of farro soaked in salty, fatty goo. It's a large portion of unremarkable food that gets less appetizing the more you slog through it. The best thing about it is the asparagus, which CPK generally gets right (almost unheard of in a restaurant of this class). The wonderful Penfolds cabernet-shiraz is gone, but there is still a "spicy"red list with similar options.

The house pizza was fresh and good. I really enjoyed the smoked ham and onion flatbread. Good experience and not bad priced.

I visited this California pizza kitchen location today, and upon arrival I immediately went to the restroom. When I got there they were absolutely disgusting. However, after I told my waiter about it he immediately got the hostess to clean them. My meal was delicious, as always, and the service during the meal was absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be returning!

CPK has some ok food on the menu, but if I am in the mood for pizza, I would not come here. They have inventive and creative flavors, but Korean BBQ on a pizza is not exactly what comes to mind when I want a pie. There regular crust is too doughy for my taste and the thin crust is more like a flatbread which works well. In this area, there are so many good pizza parlors, unless you are trapped at the mall I would skip CPK.

California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) was founded in Beverly Hills, CA in the mid 1980's to provide a casual-dining restaurant with a healthy California twist on hearth-baked pizzas, salads, pastas, entrees, soups, and salads. This CPK can be found inside International Plaza on the lower level near Nordstrom, just at the bottom of the escalators to the second floor, and it's the perfect place to stop if you're looking for a quick meal while still enjoying the air conditioning in the mall. We stopped in for dinner after a productive day of shopping, and started by sharing one of their new shaved mushroom and spinach flatbreads which was shavings of Cremini mushrooms, chopped sautéed spinach, and California olive oil sprinkled with Romano and Parmesan cheeses and served on toasted flatbread. With that I ordered a cup of the Sedona Tortilla soup which was vine-ripened tomatoes, tomatillos and corn with mild green chilies and Southwestern spices. Garnished with tortilla strips. Nice, and plenty spicy! I also had the Thai Crunch salad which had crisp veggies and cilantro with grilled and cubed chicken, avocado, and the crunch of peanuts, wontons and rice sticks. That was served with their Thai peanut dressing. I've had several of their different pizzas, pastas and sandwiches over the years, but seem to be drawn to the unique flavors of their many different dinner-sized salads. Many are geared for vegetarians, but you can add chicken, shrimp or salmon to your liking. It's a bit pricey, but nothing outrageous for this part of town.

One of the nicer/newer CPK's I've been to. The food offerings have changed in the past couple of years. We were really impressed by the wine selection and the wine flight is a total of 9oz of wine for about $12 which was good. Our serve was amazing- I think her name was Olivia.

I finally convinced my girlfriend to go here, and we had a great time. We sat at the bar and a very friendly bartender recommended drinks and we ordered our pizzas! Thank you for the great meal and great service. I thought the strawberry-rhubarb martini and my girlfriends mojito were delicious....and the original BBQ chick pizza is amazing. It's a great time sitting in front of the kitchen watching them prepare the food!

I may be slightly obsessed with their BBQ chicken salad at CPK & I haven't been able to shake it for years. It's one of the tastiest salads ever & I always go back just because I crave it so much. Pizzas are good & decent. My favorite is the chipotle chicken. It's got a bit of Mexicano flavors with the chipotle sauce & bean/corn on top. It's a great spot for a quick (non-fast food) meal while shopping at international mall.

My husband and I absolutely love California Pizza Kitchen's food and have never been able to find fault, so this review isn't so much for the restaurant as it is for our server. Mirac was probably the best server that we've had in a very long time. Most servers see young couples who order soup and salads as cheap, so they don't bother paying attention because they can get a bigger tip from other parties. He made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant, even though it was during the lunch rush. We never had to ask for a thing and he came by frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. His politeness and attention to detail made our dining experience so much more enjoyable.

What can I say not only do they make a mean pizza but they also make amazing salads!! My friend and I met here for lunch the other day. The hostess was nice and sat us right away, which was nice considering it was the peak of lunch time. Someone greeted us and got us drinks. Our server (whose name escapes me) came over and took our order. We ordered/splti the BBQ Chicken Salad. They order half and full portions on their salad and we got the full, and its a good thing we did! When it was ready our server brought out this MASSIVE salad. We were both thankful we opted to spilt one. The BBQ chicken salad ismost likely my #1 item that they serve. Its a perfect combonation. Ther sericve was good. Took quite some time to get our check once we had finished eating and then sometime to get it back after we paid. But it was lunch hour so its understandable. Foods good and so are the drinks! I didn't have one this time but have had them in the past and they are delish. Keep up the good work CPK!

CPK is tasty chain pizza that is a step above the rest. Note that the address is 2223 N West Shore Blvd and is actually inside International Mall, but is easily accessible without going all the way through the mall (Best and closest entrance is by Nordstrom - you can see signage from the exterior of the mall). The MuPeSa is really good and they even have whole wheat options for dough. The carmelized peach salad is great and I don't eat much in the way of salads. Good cocktails and fast service all add up to a great experience every time. Oh, and for the "New Yorkers" - it's a chain pizza place. Your arrogance of all things pizza is always hilarious to read. It never claimed to top your beloved NYC pizza joints.

Consistently a good experience, food/service/value - wise. The servers, hostesses, and management team are always friendly and quick, and we've always enjoyed the food here. Ask for bread and butter, though. They don't just drop that off anymore. And the beer list is more extensive than what they have listed at the bar, so if you want something fancier than Coors, it IS there. You just have to hunt for it.

This was surprisingly good place. The service was great and the food was very fresh. Being a "chain" restaurant, we were caught off guard with the quality of the food. After the meal I recommend the red velvet cake with vanilla bean sauce...incredible!

I have to give them props for the service. Our server was so quirky and hilarious. He was really trying to give us a stellar/friendly/entertaining experience and he did. At first I was like "is this guy for real" then I realized that I am like that with my customers at my job and they seem to not judge me, so I should just go with it. And go with it I did. The food was expensivooooo but pretty good. We go there in the late afternoon- by the time we left, place was PACKED with kids running around and smashing things. Not my scene at the moment, but I feel very welcomed here if I had kids of my own. Side note, the booth I sat in was ripped and the bathroom floor was falling apart. A small renovation would do them justice. But then again, maybe it's the whole kid thing? A nice alternative to Bay Street and great service. Will be back.

GREAT SERVICE FROM BRYAN I came for dinner on 3/28 and the service was phenomenal. Bryan made us feel right at home. Made great suggestions, checked on the table a couple of times, refilled drinks on time, I mean he was rocking. There is no way that he shouldn't be running the place. I was amazed by the service and I have a background in hospitality. The food was hot and delicious, drinks were cold and filled, and I was satisfied beyond belief. When I go back I will request Bryan and if he isn't there I will go elsewhere.

Let me start off by saying I'm a New Yorker that grew up loving a very cheesy thin greasy pizza. But I'm willing to try all kinds of pizza and I love Chicago's version with the deep dish. But this place goes beyond average pizza flavors. Maybe they are trying to be healthier but something gets lost in the flavor. I had a chicken and broccoli mixed with garlic on wheat dough. It tasted OK but for $14 I should've loved it. I took half home and and it didn't reheat well. My son had an odd mix of pulled pork and pesto. Not worth trying again. My husband's meat lover's pizza went over better with him but it ran right through him. Not the healthiest thing he could have chosen. If I ever get back to this restaurant, I'll probably choose a pasta plate or sandwich.

Ordered 2 kids cheese pizzas for takeout: service was rude, food was late, no ice in the drinks, the bread they gave us for two meals was only tiny end pieces and there was only enough for one meal, and only gave us half a serving of the olive oil. When I asked for more bread, the response was "sorry that's all we got." They were rude and the food was mediocre at best. Definitely won't be going back. The manager was nice, however, and they did refund our meal.

CPK is definitely a solid choice for lunch if you're in the International Plaza area. I've tried their pizzas in the past, but what really excites me is their salad selection: it's extensive! On my most recent visit, I tried out their new salad: the quinoa and arugula salad. It contains a bed of arugula with quinoa, sundried tomatoes, asparagus, red onion, feta cheese, and a champagne vinaigrette. The combo is really stellar! I'd definitely recommend it if you're a fan of the ingredients.

California Pizza Kitchen is one of those restaurants that I don't really eat at unless there's some sort of work lunch going on there. In this case, it was a co-worker's birthday. We visited on a Friday afternoon, and the place was packed. As a result our server was on the brusque side: he had a tendency to kind of plop multiple orders on the table and let us figure out where they went. He did get us in and out of the restaurant on time, though. I ordered their "classic" garlic chicken pizza, which is apparently a signature item of theirs. The crust was nice, but a little underdone, topped with cheese, grilled chicken, grated scallions, and a generous amount of roasted garlic. No sauce, which struck me as a little strange, but I enjoyed it anyway. My server suggested that the pizza was intended for one person, but I don't recommend eating an entire one by yourself. Split it if possible. My co-workers ordered various salads, and everybody seemed pretty happy with what they got. They've got one of the fancy Coca-Cola machines with all of the various syrups and flavorings, which is nice if you're like me and you miss Coke with Lime. Somebody else compared California Pizza Kitchen to the Cheesecake Factory, and I think that's an apt comparison. Perfectly fine for a chain, and not a bad place to grab lunch, though a tad overpriced for what it is.

I love their frozen BBQ chicken thin crust pizza so much, so I had to check out the actual restaurant. That being said, I did not want to order something I can get from Walmart so my husband and I ordered the thin crust chicken pesto pizza and sesame ginger chicken dumplings. Both of them were not bad....they just did not amaze me like the first time when I had the BBQ pizza in package. I kind of wished I sticked to what I like and ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. The service was good. It is located in the International Plaza, so very convenient. I probably will go back to try something different.

Stars: 2.5 I wish California Pizza Kitchen would just lower this prices! $22 for a personal pie, are you kidding me? I mean, it's yummy, but I think I'd rather have a personal pan from Pizza Hut for $5. To boot, I am hard-pressed to find any dish (other than salad) that's low calories. I used to get this Four Cheese Ravioli, the only menu option that I'm in love with, and it's over 1,000 calories. I'm not a big fan of anything here, but I don't dislike anything either. Everything is just ok and nothing is worth the price.

  • Megan W.

Oddly enough, I never order pizza's at California Pizza Kitchen. I always get salads! They have an excellent selection of salads, one for every taste profile. My two favorite are the Thai Crunch (add avocado) and the Roasted Veggie (add chicken). CPK has a nicer wine selection than one would think, and the prices are great. You can get a bottle of cakebread chardonnay for $49! I usually get a glass of Clos Dus Bois Chard, where the large pour only sets me back $7. Also, the white corn guacamole is amazing. Take my word for it and get it for an app.

Sicilian thin crust. Spicy marinara, Italian sausage. This was the "THE" best pizza I have had in a long time. The marinara sauce definitely had some heat in it. The crust was crisp and charred ever-so-slightly. The meat and cheese left a nice salty aftertaste in my mouth. I am drooling just thinking about it! I am looking forward to my next visit!

I came to this location not expecting much. Everything is overpriced except the pizza and the pasta. The wait staff here is very honest, and will tell you straight up if they think that they are not going to like an item or to recommend entrees to you based on your tastes. Our waitress also stressed the point that if you do not like something that they will bring you another entrée with no questions asked and with no hesitation. And, we did not even provoke such a statement, but it is nice to know. The Cherry Limeade ($2.99, no refill) is badass! The best I have ever had. I attempted to avoid all of the cheese covered items, so I ordered the Lettuce Wraps (about $10.00) which were surprisingly good. It would have been better with a better lettuce, instead of cheap snappy iceberg, and if it was $4.00 cheaper. But, live and learn. I also ordered a half salad of the Miso Salad ($11.49 half), which is a glorified coleslaw with 3 diced shrimp and some crab meat on top. The dressing was even sweet like cole slaw and I did not taste any miso at all. I would have been so pissed if this was the only thing that I ordered and actually ordered a full size for $15.00. What a rip-off. My check for just me was $28.00 w/ tip. This experience is very much like eating at Cheesecake Factory, same prices and quality but without the four hour wait. My co-workers ordered a White Pizza and a Mushroom Pizza. Both were exceptional and around $12.00 for a 10 inch. I don't think that I will ever be coming back here, because I do not drive all the way to Tampa to eat pizza. If you do happen to eat here, just order the damn pizza.

i make the half hour drive just to come to the mall that this restaurant is located in. as an appetizer their fried macaroni is GREAT. it's a small portion size but it's just right. of all the 2 years i've been coming to this restaurant i've only ever had their jamaican jerk chicken pizza, which if i may say it's EPIC. also as all the times i've ever come to this place service has NEVER been an issue. everyone is on point.

Where's the fish??? Why is my fish taco filled with cabbage? While it is common practice in L.A. to put some cabbage into the fish tacos, that doesn't mean you pack it in there and make me look for the fish. Despite this, the tacos are actually pretty good, and the salsa is a little spicy. What can I say, it's hard to be really tough on a decent chain restaurant which provides standardized food nationwide. The strong point here is the wait staff. I couldn't pick between two flavors of the Italian ice drink, so I was just given both! Then on my way out, I was given a refill in a to-go cup. Hard to beat that, right?

    (3)
  • Robert P.

Wow it smells!!! Just walk by the front door. I don't know what it is about this location but it seems to smell more and more each time. We just cannot eat anymore there. It just seems like there is a certain odor about this particular place ... like all you smell are mops.

  • Julie A.

I really appreciate this restaurant for their creative flavors and ridiculously extensive menu. Their pizza was OK. Nothing special. However, this might be attributed to the fact that I was sharing with my son so we were only limited to the pepperoni and cheese pizza. Probably the only difference between this pizza and those I've had in the past was that CPK's pizza had a slightly sweeter pizza sauce. For appetizer, however, I ordered Avocado Club Egg Rolls. The ingredients blended well, but it had a lot of grease dripping off of it. Not very healthy for self-proclaimed "Californian food." Anyway, I really enjoyed them, but my son didn't.

  • Jim B.

So... been quite a while since I did CPK. Not much has changed, except the pricing, which has increased. I'd probably eat here more often, but, yeah... you can easily pop 20 bucks a person here for lunch. They have 3 pizzas I love: Thai Chicken (which is now easy to get in a lot of places), their BLT (which is a sublime textural mix of hot and cold) and the Pear Gorgonzola - which is simply sinful and divine. They also have this 'try something new' dealio to encourage you to break out and taste other menu items, and will replace the meal if for any reason you are not happy with what you order. Good promotion I think - although I doubt many people take them up on it. Our waiter was personable, if not all that bright (according to my dining companion, he was dim but pretty - heh). He was generally efficient and generally our meal was fine. I gotta say though, the joint is overtly noisy, the wait times are offputting, and the prices have gotten to a point that I'm less of a fan than I used to be. I will come back, because the pear gorgonzola and BLT are unique to this venue, but my overall enthusiasm has cooled from where it was in the past.

The first time I went here was at the Int'l Plaza with a friend. I always overlooked the place because it was always packed and loud, but it was definitely a good experience. We sat in a booth near the back and it wasn't that loud, it was just coming from large parties. It was cool walking past the front where you can see the chefs working on the pizzas and the have a glimpse at the brick ovens. The menu looked extensive and there was so many pizzas to choose from and the pictures make them look so good! I usually go for anything spicy so I ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza (also had corn, black beans, green wasabi, red chili, and onions) and my friend ordered the Barbeque Chicken pizza. Because the individual pizzas seemed pretty big for us, we decided to combine it half and half. The server was kind enough to mention that they charge extra ($2) for that, but I was really hungry and weighed the options and quickly said sure. I figured I'd rather pay $13 for this pie than $24 for 2 separate ones if we were going to try it anyway. I have to say when it arrived it looked really delicious and colorful. I loved my savory Buffalo Chicken pizza because it had the perfect amount of kick to it. The BBQ Chicken was sweet and pretty good too. Overall, I really liked this place. My little sister was entertained with the coloring book, so it's great to bring kids. I would definitely stop by again when I want to take a break from shopping at the mall.

California Pizza Kitchen aka C.P.K is a nice change for the standard Pizza fare. With a mix of modern cuisine and Pizza, you get a nice diverse menu ranging from Lettuce wraps filled with shrimp to the classic Cheese Pizza. Tonight, my wife had the lettuce wraps and they were great. The shrimp had a teriyaki flavoring, but matched with the lettuce, it was something great and out of the ordinary. I had a Mushroom, Pepperoni, and Italian Sausage Pizza and that was good. What makes CPK stand out is their dough. It has a hint of sweetness that goes just right with the flavors. I recommend the Mushroom, Pepperoni, Sausage Pizza and also the Wild Mushroom. Both are great. CPK is not a place you should expect to mesmerize your taste buds, but you should expect to have some good food and great service, which this location maintains everytime I've stepped in for a meal.

Great food, atmosphere! The sugar free raspberry italian soda was a great alternative to diet pepsi, the thin crust pizza was super thin and crispy, delicious! Also had the dumplings and the white corn guacamole, to die for! Loved it, an awesome experience and the mall was perfect!

Definitely NOT fast food. You could grow a beard waiting. My app came with my meal to boot. I ordered it became i wanted something now! The app was a corn guacamole and chips. Pretty tasteless. The Cobb salad was better, and it took me half way through to figure out that the mystery ingredient was basil! It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good, and the prices are high. Don't go there in a hurry either.

This is wayyy better then their frozen pizzas. No it is not cali style pizza and most of it is just random stuff on pizza bread rather then a plat. That being said!!!, I heart it! I love the chipotle style pizza, yum! And I hear the BLT pizza is rad. I liked the soups and salads as well. All of this being said, mall employees get 20% off so make friends with your IP mall employees. I make my friends eat there allll the time!

I was SO looking forward to coming here tonight for the gluten free pizza that I love, only to find out its no longer available....make sure you call them first to see if what you like is still on the menu - even if its printed there, it may not be.

Not crazy about it. I had the Korean BBQ tacos and didn't even finish one. The waitress was nice enough to take it off of the ticket though. The strawberry tea was very good and so was the desert I ordered.

This is definitely one of the nicer CKPs that I've seen. Set in International Plaza next to Adrenalina, they definitely attract the crowd that walks by or are coming from the department stores. The price is decent too. about $12+ for a pie. Table, bar, and outdoor seating are available. They have a kids menu as well. Walking into this place at first sight you think you might have to dress up, however casual attire is the norm.

  • John P.

Meh, underwhelmed. Service was good, and as I sat at the bar unacknowledged for a few minutes, the manager noticed and took the initiative to say hello and take my drink and entree orders. Atmosphere was also nice: modern, upscale, without trying too hard. Seems like a good place for happy hour. I ordered the Margehrita pizza with the thin crust. I prefer my thin crust pizza to be more on the crispy side; this one was more soggy/chewy, what I normally associate with anything but thin crust. The sauce was fairly bland and could have used more (nay, some? any?) garlic. Even the basil had a weak flavor to it. Was it so bad that I'll never go back? No. I'll probably give them another go on the suspicion that I just caught them on a bad day. Granted, it was lunchtime, but calling it a lunch "rush" when I was there would be generous. I expected a bit more, but honestly, the pizza at the restaurant wasn't much better than the California Pizza Kitchen pizzas in the grocer's freezer.

I love the California Pizza Kitchen. All the different types of pizza bring a large variety to the restaurant, though my personal favorite is the tostada pizza. Appetizers also tend to be very delicious here including their spring rolls. Waits are not all that long and the bread they serve is great. Service here has always been great for me. Go here, even if it is out of your way because you won't be disappointed.

Salads are great. The rest of the food is basic and boring. Not worth the money at all. Not worth a special trip either.

Wanted a good salad and I heard they have the best. So I got an "original chopped" togo. For a salad that left me with a $9.00 bill I had high expectations. Badly let down. Virtually no meat and I asked them to toss in the dressing and I swear to you there was less then an ounce in the entire salad. I'd give them a single star except I like CPK for other items so I won't screw them completely. Sad to say but I'll be back.

That damn mall is always crazy crowded at lunch time, so it helps that you can do call-ahead seating, not that we needed it when my coworker & I had lunch there on back-to-school day. The server we had was very attentive & didn't miss anything on our orders, & always made sure to check on us when walking by our table, even if she was on the way to another one. I couldn't decide between the pesto cream penne or the fettucine with garlic cream sauce with chicken, & my server helped me choose the penne -- "The fettucine is great, but it can lack flavor sometimes depending on who's making it." Definitely appreciate the honesty there. The penne was perfectly al dente, though I wanted a bit more basil flavor in my pesto sauce. Personal preference, I suppose; other than that it was creamy deliciousness with just the right balance of sun-dried tomatoes. My coworker had the Hawaiian pizza. He liked it; I really kind of hate pineapple on pizza, so I picked it off & enjoyed what I did eat. He was pleased that they use real Canadian bacon as opposed to the more ham-like toppings that many delivery places & other restaurants use. I'm from California & when I was in high school I ate here all the time. While I don't know that I'd call it "California style pizza," it's good food & I like it & now that I work across from the mall, I think I might be back here more often to get a taste of home.

California Pizza Kitchen 12 years ago was my all time favorite, It's was the restaurant that started me cooking & being a food snob. My first experience was in Palm Desert on El Paseo; The food was wonderful, I took home a menu & made exactly what they had written on the menu descriptions, as I started tweaking the recipes it a bit, I found out I could cook just about anything!! We recently went the CPK in Tampa, waited in line for 45 minutes like everyone else for lunch, we ordered The Original BBQ Chicken pizza, it was very salty and the chicken had been frozen because when the pizza came out of the oven the chicken was still really cold. We also ordered The Hawaiian, 6 pieces of pineapple was a bit slim for me? The BBQ Chicken Chopped salad is not bad, guess we were in a BBQ mood that day. Prices are fair, service is always good, and it's really clean.

it's just hard when you're from california and you really like pizza to go to this place cuz it's not very good pizza and it's certainly not california style but yes, it's food in the mall. which i needed. cuz i was hungry. cuz you have to walk a mile to get anywhere in there

Walked in yesterday for takeout. Diane behind the counter seemed harried. She saw me, but did not greet me or look at my eyes saying, " I'll be right it's you." Instead she totally ignored me for quite a while, walked away, some of that time spent talking to a co- worker over the bar. I felt invisible and unappreciated. I almost walked out. i think it's bad form to not make the customer feel important by giving them outstanding service as quickly as possible. At a minimum, acknowledge me and make it obvious you're trying your best to get to me as soon as possible. Finally she came over and in an insincere tone and matching expression asked could she help me. I ordered my salad , Cobb, and an order of spinach artichoke dip- super yummy! Although it was not very busy, my order took over 20 minutes to be done. Mediocre service, fairly pricey but consistently good food... I will be back but hope to have better service!

have been to this location multiple times and have mostly had good experiences except for my last visit. It was myself, a friend and our three children. The waitress acted like she was pissed that the 'family crew' was seated in her section. it was like pulling teethe to get enough bread before the meal, and if we needed refills we had to wait on that as well. i was not satisfied with the customer service at all but will still go back, since this was only once out of several visits.

This location is up to snuff. The pizza tastes exactly as it does in California. The service was very good and our waitress was very polite.

i love the tostada pizza too! its the one I ALWAYS get! mmm.. the potato leek soup used to be my fav, but i think they've taken it away. i was so happy when they brought this chain to FL. My vegetarian friends like this place too.

Came here for some afternoon drinks and was pleased with the service and friendly staff. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was good and just what I wanted. Not a huge fan of chains, but this was a nice and friendly visit. Also, good prices for afternoon drinks, lots of specials!!

Recently remodeled, this location is by Nordstrom's at International Plaza. Yes, it's a chain, but it's a good one. I love their bbq chicken salad, and you can't go wrong with their pizzas. Their zucchini shrimp scampi is quite tasty too.

Home to one of my favorite salads: The BBQ Chicken Salad! I am gluten-sensitive so unfortunately I can't eat the pizza anymore. The full size is really large, enough for two. I recommend adding the avocado if you are an avacado lover. It really balances the flavors. The salad comes mixed with the dressing, so if you do not care for a lot of dressing in your salad get it on the side!

I hadn't been to a CPK in years and years. Wish I hadn't waited so long. This was a damn good pizza. There was a wait for a table so we decided to sit at the bar and just walked right in! We are happy we did. It was great watching the kitchen. They made our pizzas right in front of us. I just had pepperoni because I was skeptical. Like I said I hadn't been to a CPK in years because my last experience wasn't a good one. (maybe that's because it was at LAX) but it was enough for me not to go back for 10+ years. My boyfriend got the BBQ pizza. It was really good.

I want to give 5 for the first experience. The food was too salty and I mentioned it to my server but she boxed me a new one without asking. That was extremely kind and it was not necessary. The second time I went my card declined because the card was expired and my server looked at me like I was pathetic! because of that I will give this place 3 stars!

Smashed Pea and Barley Soup! Growing up, we knew split pea soup as elephant snot. Mother Dearest didn't like that name very much. Fast forward fifteen years and her cooking skills haven't improved. Oh well. California Pizza Kitchen is a nice place. Casual and convenient at Int'l Mall. It's located next to Nordstroms. Park on the southeast side of Nordstroms, which is on the west end on the mall. Blah, blah, blah - who uses directions these days. I'm not a huge pizza fan, so I usually get soup and salad. - The pea and barley soup is really good. - Love the Original BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad: I order the 1/2 size, which is plenty big. No girl ever looks bad for eating the entire salad.............Right? - The Avocado Club Egg Rolls: hello, two dipping sauces. Prices are fair compared to similar eateries.

Between 2008-now I have probably eaten at this CPK approximately 30 times. This seems like a lot, but when I worked in International Plaza it was at Adrenalina - which was right across the hall. In that time, I've tried almost every pizza they have and most of their pastas...and there all really good. My two favorite items are their white pizza and their macaroni and cheese. While CPK might not be a place that is super adventurous, what they do they do well and their pizzas are unique and delicious. The service is what took them from three to four stars. I can't speak for any location other than this one at International Plaza, but they are all GREAT! They get to know you, joke with you, and are super friendly. Within the last couple of months they started their small plate items...YUM! Crispy Mac-n-Cheese and the focaccia sticks are heaven. Pair those with their dangerously drinkable Caribbean sangria and it makes the perfect lunch! All in all, I recommend giving CPK a try - I don't think you'll be disappointed!

CPK offers a unique variety of salads and pizzas. The food is a little overpriced, but this isn't fastfood pizza. My favorites on the menu are the field greens salad with pears and candied walnuts, the pesto chicken pizza, and the BBQ chicken pizza with smoked applewood bacon. Be cautious when the waiter upsales bottled beverages and addtional salad and pizza toppings or you'll end up spending over $50. That said this is probably one of the cheaper dining options at the International Plaza.

It's CPK. It's at the mall. Need I say more? The service was just fine. No complaints at all. The food was fine also, but you get what you expect to at the mall.

Went here with my girls after a bit of shopping, I downloaded the app and enrolled in their dough program to receive a free flatbread. I ordered the Mac n cheese balls (decent) along with a strawberry lime margarita (packed with ice), the mushroom and spinach flatbread with added sausage and the Belgian chocolate soufflé lava cake (I've had better). The cake was good till I got to the center and found it wasn't warmed all the way through, the flatbread was delicious and just the right size with everything else I ordered. This isn't a spot I'd personally choose to come to for dinner but if someone suggested it I wouldn't be opposed. If you eat here just get the app to receive some great coupons!

Wow, very surprised at the service and food! Let me start off with the fact that they offered us a free small appetizer if we downloaded their app ... uhhh yeah! We picked the asparagus and arugula mini salad. It was delicious and savory with little sun dried tomatoes and parmesean. So, very good! With the complimentary crispy bread and olive oil! But my favorite was the -pick-two- soups. Split pea and squash vegetable. Banging good! I was surprisingly full! They better not delete that from their menu or that'll be the day I stop going to CPK!!!

Oh CPK, you never cease to make me and my tummy happy (we are two different people). I have personally been to this location a couple times and have pretty much found out what is pretty good, and also what's not so hot. If you are worried about how busy it is, it's in a very busy mall with some hungry people...so expect to wait a little bit. They have a bar now, so that should keep you company until you get a seat! When you get your table, to start off you would probably want to order pizza since it is California PIZZA kitchen, I mean no spoilers here. They have options for EVERYONE (food allergies, veggie heads, carnivores, etc)! I have personally tried 4 of the original hand-tossed pizzas which include the five cheese + fresh tomato, mushroom pepperoni sausage, the original bbq chicken, and the works. They are fantastic! The only thing I would complain about are the prices for the portion size, but you really are just paying for the taste. Each of these pies has a unique seasoning blend that encompasses the sauce, crust, and ingredients, so you really do get immersed in the pizza. I take my pizza very seriously. After you get pizza, you should try the chicken tequila fettuccine! ITS THE BEST PASTA DISH I'VE EVER HAD! I swear by the pasta gods, that this is incredible. You get a big portion size, so you will be happy now, going home, and when you get home because you will be snacking all night long. So I've named all of the good things, let's start with the not so good things. Didn't really enjoy the spicy chicken tinga quesadilla, they were tasty, but very dry so you had to drown it in the ranchito sauce... however, the ranchito sauce was a bit rancido tasting if you catch my drift. I have also tried 2 of the crispy thin crust options which were tasty on the top, but was pretty much burnt all the way through and was rock hard. I would say give it a go because I had both of them on the same day. Also some of the staff members are not very nice. One of the waiters's names is Marec? Marek? I am not sure how to spell it, but he is wonderful, so I would suggest asking if he is there! Overall, lots to try! Give em all a shot!

They have an array of items that should be able to satisfy everyone in your groups taste buds. On this visit I did the avocado eggrolls and the corn small plate... both very good. Service is normal like any other chain restaurant... You come when it's busy you wait.. then they seat you and then they come back every 1 minute til you figure out what you want and then as soon as you place your order and your water is empty... you'll wait and then when your food comes she'll come back immediately after and ask how the food was.. then you'll see her about 40 minutes later saying she hoped everything was good... regardless when you're hungry and you'll wait for food. decent place with decent prices.. i'll be back...

Cpk is a staple in my family. We always come to the one at international mall. They just renovated the place and even put in hardwood floors. It looks great. I also have the cpk app that gives you discounts sometimes. They have so many great food options, even for vegetarians. The Sedona tortilla soup, strawberry lemonade, Thai crunch salad, tostada pizza, and butter cake with ice cream are amongst my favorites. The staff is always nice and attentive. Overall, the food is great, the staff is friendly, they have good deals sometimes, and the renovation makes it way more inviting. I will continue to come back for sure!

If you find yourself looking for a casual sit-down restaurant while shopping at International Plaza but don't want to venture over to the busy food court, California Pizza Kitchen is always a good choice. To begin, the Crispy Mac'n'Cheese or Bianco flatbread are great appetizers. As I'm sure you can guess from the name, it's a version of a white pizza topped with mozzarella, gorgonzola, and truffle cream. For the main course we usually we go with the CPK classic, the BBQ Chicken Pizza (minus the red onions) on the wheat whole grain crust. I'm really not even a fan of barbeque sauce but this pizza almost changes my mind! You can even buy it in the frozen section of your local grocery. On my next visit, I'd love to try the crispy thin crust Sicilian. It sounds delicious! And no meal is complete without dessert, so the butter cake is our finale. Just add a scoop of Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream and you'll be good to go. I will say it is a bit overpriced for pizza. However, if you sign up for CPK Rewards emails, you will get a free small plate on your first visit and frequently will receive offers for desserts and other yummy freebies! I would recommend try California Pizza Kitchen at least once if you're a fan of interesting and flavorful pizzas!

I finally convinced my girlfriend to go here, and we had a great time. We sat at the bar and a very friendly bartender recommended drinks and we ordered our pizzas!

I would say give it a go because I had both of them on the same day. Also some of the staff members are not very nice. One of the waiters's names is Marec? Marek? I am not sure how to spell it, but he is wonderful, so I would suggest asking if he is there! Overall, lots to try! Give em all a shot!

So... been quite a while since I did CPK.

  • Karl L.

The waitress acted like she was pissed that the 'family crew' was seated in her section. it was like pulling teethe to get enough bread before the meal, and if we needed refills we had to wait on that as well. i was not satisfied with the customer service at all but will still go back, since this was only once out of several visits.

i love the tostada pizza too! its the one I ALWAYS get! mmm.. the potato leek soup used to be my fav, but i think they've taken it away. i was so happy when they brought this chain to FL. My vegetarian friends like this place too.

Not very healthy for self-proclaimed "Californian food." Anyway, I really enjoyed them, but my son didn't.

i make the half hour drive just to come to the mall that this restaurant is located in. as an appetizer their fried macaroni is GREAT. it's a small portion size but it's just right. of all the 2 years i've been coming to this restaurant i've only ever had their jamaican jerk chicken pizza, which if i may say it's EPIC. also as all the times i've ever come to this place service has NEVER been an issue. everyone is on point.

Wow it smells!!! Just walk by the front door. I don't know what it is about this location but it seems to smell more and more each time. We just cannot eat anymore there. It just seems like there is a certain odor about this particular place ... like all you smell are mops.

So... been quite a while since I did CPK.

The waitress acted like she was pissed that the 'family crew' was seated in her section. it was like pulling teethe to get enough bread before the meal, and if we needed refills we had to wait on that as well. i was not satisfied with the customer service at all but will still go back, since this was only once out of several visits.

i love the tostada pizza too! its the one I ALWAYS get! mmm.. the potato leek soup used to be my fav, but i think they've taken it away. i was so happy when they brought this chain to FL. My vegetarian friends like this place too.

This was surprisingly good place. The service was great and the food was very fresh. Being a "chain" restaurant, we were caught off guard with the quality of the food. After the meal I recommend the red velvet cake with vanilla bean sauce...incredible!

Wow it smells!!! Just walk by the front door. I don't know what it is about this location but it seems to smell more and more each time. We just cannot eat anymore there. It just seems like there is a certain odor about this particular place ... like all you smell are mops.
