High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

Ho-lee crap. This place is amazing. Customer service is totally on point. Frannie and Kali are the best, we come to see them all the time! Best burgers around, especially considering that it's a chain. South Tampa needed this joint! LOVE.

Been here a few times now. Burgers are great. Very customizable. Inexpensive and healthy compared to other burger places. Would highly recommend. Also very modern look inside, TVs, and local beers on draft and bottled.

Had the burger the other day. Thought they were simple and tasty.... in comparison to burger King of course. $6 for a pretty fresh looking hamburger isn't too bad of a deal. The key thing about this place is that you really do taste the meat. Highly recommended.

Very good cheese burger, and as many topping combinations as you can imagine. Chocolate shake was average, almost like something I can make at home. Onion rings were huge, lightly battered and perfectly cooked , and the fries were good. Staff was very friendly, and brought food out to us, along with samples of the ice cream. I thought the price was in line with gourmet burgers, fry portion was excessive. Good place for a quick bite, ok selection of beer.

Classic burger spot with excellent atmosphere. The menu is safe but satisfying. I tried a traditional burger, fries, and even though I'm not a big sweets guy, a vanilla shake with fresh strawberries blended in. The reason for 3 stars is that while I left satisfied, there wasn't anything different about the food. There wasn't anything signature about the food. The menu items I ordered tasted a lot like something from somewhere else. Having said that, if I need to put a burger craving down, I'll definitely head back here. If you're looking for a great environment, friendly staff, and a satisfying burger, you can't go wrong here.

Was decent, decent burger decent fries! The thing I loved was sitting outside on the patio, loved the vibe'. Typical south tampa crowd, nice blend of peeps. Menu was pretty basic. Few selections of hamburgers and dogs. You can create your own which was cool. You can get your fries with different types of seasoning, which is a plus. Burgers are rather small for 6-7 dollars, but good. I think me and my girl paid somewhere around 20 for 2 burgers and a large fries. Will definitely be back when we're in the mood for burger!

Definitely top notch for a fast meal. The burgers are flavorful, juicy and not greasy. They have lots of toppings to add to jazz up your patty. I had my burger "green style" which is bunless and wrapped in fresh crunchy lettuce. They do a great job with the wrap so that you can still pick up the burger as if you had a real bun. I didn't try the fries so I can't comment. They have a good beer selection and one of those fancy Coke machines with the 1000 flavor combos. The atmosphere is casual but nice. Several TVs for sports fans and plenty of outdoor seating. This is a great stop for a quick burger for a decent price.

Bunless but full of flavor! Although on a low-carb diet, we took our chances and waded through the aroma of french fries. To our surprise they offered a lettuce burger, Burger Fi Green Style, that was amazing! The beef was very well seasoned, juicy and well constructed between the perfect amount of lettuce. Finally, add your favorite toppings and cheese and you have an incredible bun-less burger that is full over flavor minus the heavy carbs. However, I have to say the craft beer, sides, and dessert looked very inviting and we look forward to sampling in the near future.

A slightly more upscale version of Five Guys. With all the hype, we were not overly impressed.

Fabulous burgers! My wonderful hubby had the twenty-eight burger and I took a walk on the wild side and tried the breakfast all day burger! It was awesome! Had a side of chili cheese fries too I have to say I wasn't overly impressed with those but the burgers were off the chain.

Nice spacious, clean place. Seating inside and outside. Dog friendly. The line there was pretty long, but moved quickly. I ordered a cheeseburger and a can of Brew House beer. Fries are not included. The food took a bit to come out, but I wasn't in a hurry. Although I thought my cheeseburger tasted pretty good, it was very small. The prices aren't bad, a little more than $6 per cheeseburger, but they are not filling at all. Probably won't come back on an empty stomach again.

Burgerfi definitely has one of the, if not THE best burgers in Tampa. I come here at least 5-6 times a month especially when I am meeting with a potential client. Their burgers are just done right with soft bun and a flavor filled meat patty. Burgerfi is to die for!

This new spot is a hit! I tried their quinoa burger and I was very pleased. Went with a nice size group (9 people total) and there was plenty of seating available. Staff was friendly. Food was great. Check out my pictures!

I wish there were a 6 star rating!!! Burger Fi burger was amazing... Nothing added - except some fresh cut fries & a Boylan Creme Soda which was to die for.

Being Colombia we know how to make a killer burger with endless toppings. So when it comes to burgers I am very picky. I kept hearing great things about BurgerFi so I had to try it out. Naturally my expectations where high, but BurgerFi definitely exceed them. I built my own burger to my liking. Next time I'll try their signature burgers.

Food was good and we fed 5 people for $10.00 a person. No kids menu displayed but when we asked, they were accommodating and informed us that they have grilled cheese, hot dogs, and small burgers. Food was fast, eat at our own pace, was clean and they were on the floor keeping everything flowing. Overall it was a good experience.

Today is National Cheeseburger Day 2015. In observance of this, Burgerfi was the pick due to being in my bookmarks for a while, I like the area, and it has great reviews. At this establishment, customers order first (at the counter), then have a seat and the food is brought to the table. It's perry efficient, but gives it a fast food feel. It's less greasy than similar burger joints. I ordered The Twenty Eight, and the Cry + Fry (onion ring and fry combo). The 28 is double 28-day dry-aged ground brisket burger, Swiss and blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and Burgerfi sauce. I was expecting a larger burger, but I ended up super full. The combination of flavor is exceptional! This is a really good burger! The fries and rings were good too. I like how the breading stayed attached to the onion giving consistency in every bite. I also tried a couple bites of my wife's custom bacon cheesburger; equally delicious! The interior was upbeat, modern, and clean. All the employees we encountered we nice. My chair wasn't very comfortable, though. I couldn't lean back without feeling like I was sliding out of my seat. No big deal, it didn't affect the star rating in this review. Overall, fast and delicious burgers. I'll be back, and I recommend trying it out.

I am a BurgerFi fan, and normally this would have been a FIVE star rating, but.... The place wasn't very clean, read on and you will know why. The food was very good. The location is ok, busy street, and parking is ok if you aim for the lot behind the restaurant. The service was...well...it sucked! So, if management wants to make this a five star rating, fire the manager, or get them some serious training. A couple examples: the new girl is on the register, it's obvious she is new (or she had no business being behind the counter), and she is so slow, the order in front of me took 10 minutes!!! 2 people and 10 minutes!!! The trainer (?), cause the manger wasn't around unless she was one of the people in the kitchen just chatting it up the ENTIRE time we were in the restaurant, didn't offer to help. In fact, as soon as she was finished with the order she was doing, about 2 minutes, she walked away from the register. So that the line behind me backed up to the door. After the new girl takes my order, I have to wait on her to poor a beer, which she passes to the trainer, who couldn't do it either. Needless to say they pissed away about 30 or 40 oz of beer trying to fill my 12 oz cup. The food arrived a while later, wasn't in a hurry thankfully. It was all good, as expected. I went back to get another beer. New girl is busy, trainer just finished with a customer so I walk over to get her to place my beer order, she says to me between sips on the coke she is drinking, "oh, she can take care of you". My jaw hit the floor. The new girl is still taking an order. Back in line I go, 3 minutes later I finally get to order my beer and then have to wait again for the beer pouring, hey management, when you pour out a gallon to serve 4 cups are you making any money?? Lastly, I can't remember the last time I saw the staff sitting on break, at a table in the restaurant. Yeah they need breaks too, 4 of them at the same time seemed a bit much, I only saw 5 people....but hey if management thinks its ok for the staff to sit in the middle of the restaurant and laugh and talk loudly with the rest of the diners...ok! For all you Yelpers, give it a shot, lets help the owners make this a great place.

BURGERFI seems to be borrowing some cool elements from other places and combine them into their own. They offer custards and shakes, like Shake Shack. They offer custom burgers and fries/sides like many many other burger joints but they do it from the wholesome locally sourced perspective. Finally, they have beer and wine, a decent selection based on when I went there to visit. At least six taps plus a ton of bottled options. I tried the Twenty Eight burger made from brisket along with bleu cheese and although I do admit that it was tasty, I couldn't taste the fattiness of the brisket since the bleu cheese was so strong. However, it was a tasty burger. I wasn't even that hungry and I ended up scarfing it. I also got a Red Velvet custard and that thing stayed solid during the entire drive from there back to the hotel. I think there's a Napa location near me so if I'm ever in Napa in the future, I'll be looking for BURGERFI. You keep rocking Tampa location as I most likely will not come back to Tampa anytime soon but thank you for a great first experience!

Another burger place...if I'm in the mood for a burger. I would have to say there are allot of other burger joints to check out besides here. Unfortunately I didn't find anything special that drives me to come here all the time. I think there are just better places to enjoy a juicy meat sandwich. It's not a bad burger. It just doesn't impress...

Definitely a premium burger but it wasn't worth $14.00 The food here is typical of your higher end burger chains. I would say that this place is better than 5 Guys but subpar compared to Shake Shack or even Fat Burger. The burger is very juicy and everythign definitely tasted fresh. It was a bit fatty though. The fries were fresh and crispy. But I don't think it was worth $14 for a burger, fries, and a small drink. The service was okay. I was the only customer. The decor is really modern and clean.

Love BurgerFi. My only gripe about this place is the location. There is never any parking, making it hard to go there too often. The food is always top notch and we love their shakes and concretes. Will definitely go back again, when there is parking available :)

I love a good burger! This place has unique details to set it apart from being just another burger joint. The beef is all-natural and it does taste "healthier". Not greasy. Each burger is stamped with their cute BurgerFI emblem. They have beer. Custards/milkshakes (will try next time) Prices can range from $5-10 for a burger. I made my own burger for $5. One patty, all additional veggie and sauce ingredients are free. There's a $10 brisket burger on the menu. Good place for all wallet sizes. They have an assortment of hot dogs and sausage dogs. There's free parking in the garage to the right of the restaurant. Or just park anywhere and walk over. LOVE the onion rings. Giant onion rings. They don't have meal options so everything is purchased separate. They have a cry & fries which is a mixture of onion rings and fries. You can order a burger without the bun. There's also a veggie burger. Will be back again soon to try the rest of the menu!

I confess that I've been slacking off on driving down to South Tampa and checking out some of the great places to eat -- and that's entirely my fault. Thankfully my good friend Allison N agreed to meet me for lunch at BurgerFi and introduce me to a new spot for burgers. BurgerFi is the shortened form of "The BurgerFication of the Nation®", and I was surprised to learn that this restaurant is actually a chain that started across the state in Delray Beach, FL. This particular location opened up about two months ago along S. Howard Avenue, just south of Swann, and in a stretch of town that is notorious for awful parking options. It's nearby neighbors include such well-known places as 717 South and Ava. BurgerFi prides itself on preparing their burgers from natural Angus beef, which is the highest standard in the industry and a standard that very few cattle ranches can measure up to. There are no hormones, no antibiotics, no coloring agents -- just happy little cows roaming freely through the fields and chomping on grass (or whatever they like to eat). As a result, the cattle mature more slowly and naturally resulting in optimal tenderness and fat marbling, creating better overall beef flavors. The menu is made up of a variety of different styles of burgers (including a quinoa VegeFi burger), several different choices of hot dogs, fries, onion rings, fresh made custards (really thick milkshakes), frozen desserts, craft beers, unique wines, specialty beverages, and two FreeStyle Coke machines. There's a long counter where you order your meal, pay the bill, and get one of those buzzer thingies to put on your table so they can bring the food to you once it's cooked. The inside of the restaurant has plenty of two-top and four-top tables with great big ceiling fans that keep the air moving, and reduces their electrical bill. You can also sit outside on the patio under an awning to enjoy a warm Florida day. On each table is a special mat, and you place your buzzer on the mat, and that alerts the staff as to where to bring your meal when it's ready. Everything is served on small aluminum trays, lined with recycled paper. The tables are made from compressed recycled wood, the chairs are made from recycled Coke bottles. As you can see, these folks are very focused on being earth-friendly and reducing their carbon footprint. *Two thumbs up* Since this was my first visit I opted for one of their specialty burgers to see what the fuss was all about. I ordered the Brisket Burger which turned out to be two patties of 28-day old dry-aged ground beef brisket with melted Swiss cheese, bleu cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and the BurgerFi sauce. The bun is toasted on the flat top, and the BurgerFi logo is branded right onto the top bun. The burger was then wrapped with paper and promptly toppled over onto it's side because of all the yumminess packed between the two buns. I also ordered a side of their crispy onion rings to share with Allison. The burger was extremely delicious, with very juicy meat, and a healthy amount of dribbling down my hands as I ate. This is definitely a several napkin burger, followed by a good hand-washing before going back to work. The flavors were great, and I was making happy yummy sounds while my delightful dining companion was daintily nibbling on her single burger patty served green-style between crisp lettuce leaves. We decided that as good as the burgers turned out, that the onion rings were the star of the meal. They were thick cut (each slice was about an inch), then lightly breaded in some type of tempura mix and quick fried. As a result they were super crunchy, and not at all greasy. I pondered the possibility of a milkshake, but opted for a trip to the FreeStyle machine instead to load up on my personal favorite blend of Diet Cherry Coke / Diet Lime Coke. This was a terrific meal, with wonderful company. The cost was certainly reasonable, and compares favorably to other high-end gourmet burger joints. I'll be back soon to try a different version of burger with some different toppings. Oh, and more of those genetically-modified giant freaking onion rings, too!

Burgers! Fries! Milkshakes! A Coke freestyle machine! BurgerFi's got all of these things, so if you're into any of these then you should definitely make a stop here. After months and months of waiting for this place to open, I decided to stop in -- yes, on opening day -- and I have to say, I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is located on hip and happening South Howard Ave, so I highly expect this place to be a total disaster in the evenings and/or on the weekends. Anyway, the restaurant is really nice inside. There are a ton of tables and the inside is really spacious. The layout works really well here and there are also a few tables outside which is great for this time of year when the weather is perfect for sitting outside. You can choose whatever kind of burger you want -- there are some preset options but I opted for the build your own style burger. I got a single patty (about 1/4 pound) with American cheese, bacon, diced onions and the BurgerFi special sauce. I got it green style which means I opted for lettuce instead of the bun. OK, don't shun me for that choice. Anyway, the burger itself was pretty good. It kind of reminded me of Five Guys but a little bit better since I had more options of toppings. I wish there had been more of the BurgerFi sauce since I could barely taste it. This place also has a Coke freestyle machine, which is an awesome addition to any restaurant. So many drink choices! The service was super quick and friendly. The nice young lady working at the register was knowledgeable about the menu and answered all the questions I had. Prices are pretty reasonable. The single stack burger was only $3.97. I'll for sure be back.

BurgerFi really rocks - burgers, fries, hot dogs and frozen custards in a bar like atmosphere. Serving beer and wine along with 2 Coke freestyle machines. Order at the counter, place your order tracker on the black electronic mat in the center of your table, then your custom made order is delivered to your table. The 1/2 + 1/2 Burger has an Angus patty on top of a Quinoa patty plus American cheese and cheddar cheese and BurgerFi sauce. It was very moist and tasty. Fries are thick, skin-on and crispy. (No wimpy shoe-string fries here). Parking is on the first level of the covered garage on south side of the building. Has covered outdoor seating along the sidewalk, all those tables were filled today with inside seats being second choice. Distinctive feeling with interior design of wood, metal, huge ceiling fans along with friendly service makes you want to linger on.

It's hard for us to only go to Burger Fi once a week as I wish I could eat it everyday. First of all, I have to compliment the staff. Everyone is friendly, funny and helpful. Secondly, the space is so cool. I love sitting outside on the patio or staying in the AC but having the giant sliding glass doors open. And of course... the food. I quinoa burger is the BEST vegetarian burger I have EVER had. So much better than a dry black bean burger that most places serve and this thing is so good that all of my meat loving friends order a quinoa burger alongside their regular burger. The fries, alternative style, are so good it's painful. And even though a peanut butter shake after all of that is enough to put you in a coma, it's so worth it (once in a while!) Burger Fi is the best!

  • Mark P.

Yikes! $13 for a smallish cheeseburger, fries and bottled water (see picture). Definitely better than Five Guys, which I was never a fan of although not as good as Burger Monger or Red Robin (which I like the most). I don't understand why they don't offer a small size of fries. You have to pay $3.70something for a large amount of fries which oddly lacked much potato flavor. A quick look at their whole menu reveals everything was overpriced ($2.80 or so for fountain drinks?). Server was helpful. The tables weren't cleaned off but the decor is cool, modern and they have an outdoor patio which is nice. Plenty of TVs to watch ESPN, AC/DC and other 80s music blasting in the background. Would I go back? No. But I wish them well!

Step above fast food burgers + beer + wine + milkshakes && freestyle coke machine. We have been waiting for this location to open for a while now. It's great having the option of a quick burger stop in the neighborhood. Well the wait is over my friends! The environment is spacious, there are TVs mounted on the wall if you are looking to keep up with the latest scores. The wood work is a nice touch & the menu is easy to read and navigate. There are many different styles of seating options for your choosing; family style, bars at the windows & outside seating. They food is delivered by a tracking system. You place your tracker in the middle of the table's assigned area and the food it brought out to you. The system was very efficient and the staff were extremely friendly. I got the single with the traditional condiments and I really enjoyed it. I understand you can also switch out the bun for lettuce (green style) & I have to try that next time because I love love crunchy and fresh lettuce with my burger. The fries were pretty good (skin on) & the onion rings were huge & crunchy!! It's a great spot to grab a quick bite.

I ordered lunch to-go from BugerFi with my coworkers today. The cashier was extremely nice and took a minute to walk us through the menu since it was our first visit. My coworkers went with the NY style and Texas chili cheese style hot dogs and I decided on the Burgerfi Cheeseburger. My $6 cheese burger quickly added up to $12.71 after fries and a fountain drink. At $2.37 I think I'll pass on Burgerfi's fancy Coke Freestyle Machine since I usually drink Coke Zero and don't need all of the flavored options. The fries were pricey too, but that's because the portion is ridiculously huge! I don't even want to know what the "large" or "bucket" portion size looks like! Had we known the regular sized fries feeds four people we could have saved a buck or so each and just ordered one side of fries to split. Lesson learned for next time! My burger was nice and juicy, but not greasy. I was hesitant to order the burger with secret sauce incase I didn't like it, but it turns out I couldn't even detect the sauce. I may order the burger without sauce next time just to save some calories. The bun was super soft and the ratio of bun to burger was perfect. I liked the my seasoned fries, but I thought it was silly to charge 75 cents more for the seasoning and I thought the fries could have been a tad crispier. My coworkers were drooling over the milkshake and frozen custard options. If you want to ruin your diet you can order a O.M.C. (Oh My Chocolate!) Concrete® for a whopping 1,440 calories! As devastating as these calories sound I absolutely love that Burgerfi states their calories on the menu. TIP: Besides street parking, there are three parking options at the Burgerfi on South Howard: A. Complimentary 15 minute parking spots for to-go orders. (Located on Inman Ave.) B. Complimentary parking on the first floor of the parking garage. C. Complimentary (+ tips) valet. (This is mostly for Ava. Who valets for burgers?)

Absolutely delicious! Milkshakes are great and the burgers are really good. Probably one of the beat milkshakes I've ever had. The patatoe buns with the burgerfi logo was a cool idea. If you like burgers this is rhe spot.

Holy moly! These burgers were amazing! I had a veggie burger (made with quinoa) and the flavor was incredible. We also ordered fried from the secret menu. They were amazing. It's awesome that they have craft beer and wine. Service was friendly and fast considering they make your food to order. The only reason for four stars was the price. I felt $30 for two burgers, one order of fries and two glasses of wine was a little high.

Why 4 stars? Because I liked it better than most. --- --- --- The good: -They carry several local beer taps. -They have two of those 1,000 flavor soda machines. -The burger (custom-build) was tastier, IMO, than that of its competitors. -You put your buzzer on the black pad of the table, which transmits the data to the person bringing you your food. This makes it easy for them to find you, and is actually a really good idea! -The fries were delightful. Five Guys esque, minus the grease. The not so good: -I'm not a huge fan of having to valet to eat a burger. -It's a pet peeve of mine to ask for a side of BBQ sauce, and then be handed one of those little mini-cups that's 25% full. Then to ask for another one, and be handed the same thing. I would definitely come back (to try a concrete), and think that they did a phenomenal job with the space. The last time I drove past this, everything was under construction. It really boosted up an area that was already very nice.

Went to this place on a whim after hearing about it. The restaurant works like.a Chipotle restaurant. You can build your own burger (although it's not right in front of you) or order from premade concoctions. I ordered a cheeseburger and added bacon. They actually got my order wrong! Forgot the grilled onions. I'm not sure how they can forget to add an ordered topping, but I guess it happens. Not such a big deal. I also ordered onion rings. You seat yourself after you order. There was plenty of seating when I went. I enjoyed the service. Even though it was not table service, they were responsive and nice. Our's even brought me out some barbecue sauce. One cool thing is that the bun is stamped. Nice party trick, but that's about it. The burger was small for the price I paid. The onion rings were a bit soggy in oil as well. The food wasn't bad, but not as good compared with other burger joints of this caliber. Probably won't be coming back here.

Very nice atmosphere. Burgers were delicious and really enjoyed the toasted bun. French fries come in large portions and more then enough to to fill you up.

24 day beef brisket? Yes!! The staff was so cool and friendly. There is a parking garage behind the building west side. The onion rings are HUGE they have a nice selection of burgers and hot dogs. I'm keeping a star because it's pricey. Like 3 to dine in 50$$

While I usually leave the SoHo dining reviews to fantastic Yelpers like Anna M and Sara S, I found myself within walking distance from BurgerFI and had to check it out. This is a really wide-open place that is made even bigger with the seating out front that borders Howard. Menu is easy to read behind the counter and offers enough choices on how you want your burger, hot dog, custard or another sweet treat called a concrete. The concrete has three flavors, one of which was key lime and was presented to me much like Dairy Queen does their trademark Blizzard: Turning the cup upside down and not having a drop fall out. It was more than I could eat in a week, but it was definitely an authentic key lime flavor and it never became "too soupy" in the entire hour that I sat in the restaurant. In the spirit of In N Out's "Flying Dutchman," I enjoy the option to do my burger what BurgerFI calls "Green Style" with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. The lettuce was fresh and plentiful enough to hold everything together, and I never had to resort to asking for a fork. My single with cheese, customized with a handful of free toppings and some very inexpensive bacon, offered a nice, fresh taste. Honestly, I would understand some saying their burgers are on the smaller side, but considering my burger was under $6, I think the size is appropriate for the modest price. While I was not in the mood for fries, I saw them go past me a couple of times and it was a large portion that looked really outstanding and I really like that you can combine onion rings and fries in one side order. Beer and wine is not only available, it seems plentiful here. Their selection of draft beer alone is as good or better than some bars that I frequent. There were plenty of employees visible out front and in the kitchen. and my wait was not long for something made fresh and exactly to my specifications.

Pretty good. Kind of a hybrid of five guys, umami burger, and in and out. Too bad a combination of all of the above isn't better than the individual. I got a brisket burger and it wasn't that good. The beef was def better and stronger tasting, but it was almost too beefy. There wasn't enough anything else. Not enough bun, sauce, lettuce, etc. I don't like the burger to stick out a centimeter beyond the bun. They really need to put a hearty piece of lettuce and tomato on there! And a good amount of sauce. Come on now. If we want sauce then do it! I like their fries. But I'll be going back to the regular double cheeseburger from now on. I'm not sure what their true identity is. Overall I like it alright bc I like burgers but for some reason it's missing, what the French call, a certain "I don't know what." Fix the burger to bun ratio on the brisket and increase the amount of toppings and that will help. Btw, I called in and ordered a to go order. When i arrived 20 min later, there was a decent size line and I go straight up to an open register and say I'm here for my food. She told me I have to get in the line bc that girl was the one who took my order over the phone. And I'm like I'm not waiting in line for 10 min when my food is ready now! And she said no we will give you your food now but you have to wait in line to pay. Whaaaaaat?? I just got in the front of the line bc no freaking way am I waiting in line for my food to get cold. Weird. I just miss in and out burger. What an amazing emotional experience. Btw is the name burger FL or fi? Is that a lower case L or upper case I?

Came in on a Friday afternoon at 12:30-- waited a half hour for our food. Lots of people but not unreasonably packed. Decor is perfect, wish there had been a spot open on the deck/porch. I was getting a little salty since BurgerFI had wasted half of my lunch hour BUT then the food came. I got the Burgerfi cheeseburger on lettuce (without bun) it was delicious! I also got french fries and a key lime concrete! Everything was delicious! I will definately be back I can't wait for the hype to die down so I can visit on work days! Def need to hit the gym though after checking the calories -- I ate atleast 1800 calories jesus

It's alright. BurgerFi reminded me of all the other burger places ever. Tasted like a double cheese burger from mcdonalds so I was pleased.

Well let me start by saying I love this concept! Hormone and Antibiotic free beef, Check! Local Craft Beer, Check! Recycling bins and environmentally friendly, Check! So this place checked off a lot for me but the food was rather small and underwhelming. Im was not looking for a giant one pound burger, but something a little bit bigger than a McDonalds size burger. The wife and I had a Breakfast all Day burger and a Burgerfi burger. We also split a chili and cheese fry. The Breakfast all day burger was just ok, It sounds better on the menu than it is. We just found it to be bland. Now the Burgerfi burger was the exact opposite and was full of flavor. The fries were just ok as well. We both thought they were undercooked and would have been a lot better had they spent more time in the fryer. I will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

My boyfriend and I came in here on a recent late Saturday afternoon. I'm vegetarian and he is not and we were both pleased. The veggie burger was tasty and he liked his burger. We split the regular french fries, which were really good. He ordered a bottle of Coke before he realized they had fountain drinks. It turned out to be a happy mistake for him as the coke bottle was made with real sugar. They also offered beer, and wine if I recall. This is a "quick serve" restaurant where you order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table. One thing I would say is that the menu board is pretty expansive and takes time to take it all in.. as the burgers come with many add on's to "build a burger", plus the sides, shakes, drinks. We noticed first timers are usually given a "spiel" to explain the menu, which we didn't get. My boyfriend says if we go back, he'd like to try some of the add on's. I also noticed someone ordered their burger in a lettuce wrap, which I wish I would've known was an option. Next time! Also to note- there is parking available on the side of the building in a parking garage. The first level is available to BurgerFi and Ava customers. There is also 15 minute parking available in front of the parking garage for "take out".

Delicious burgers, great atmosphere, semi-high prices but totally worth it. Very kind workers and good service. Their hot dogs are on point. The burgers all look great, I always get the double cheeseburger with all the fixings. Their fries are crispy and yummy. Go here !!!!

Dreadful. Awful. Mediocre. Unbelievable how bad this food is! These excuses for hamburgers are overpriced and underwhelming. Where are they sourcing their meat from, the glue factory, the morgue? Could the patties be drier and more flavorless?....nope I don't think so. They've gone to the human extreme of blandness. I bet this place won't be in business in a year. If it is, I'll eat another one of their hamburgers, and believe me, that's what I call "losing a bet".

And feels I think all the modern creations burger 21,pdq, chipotle, burger monger etc. etc. nothing really sets it apart but I enjoyed that quinoa burger very much as most people said the servings are a little small... Would I go back? Sure? Would I make a special trip there? Maybe not

Not as good as I'd expect. I got the brisket burger and the fries. Felt that the burger patty was dry and unexceptional. Fries were not bad, and portion was big even though my order was a small. Won't be back for the burgers, but I'll try their hot dogs next

Best burgers in Tampa. This is going to be my new spot. Fresh cut fries with cheese were on point. Thick chocolate milkshake was great!!! Service was friendly and atmosphere was nice. I'm going to be a regular!

Awful Service and RawBurgers - Visited here by chance when a nearby restaurant we wanted to go to was packed and had a wait list. BurgerFi is set up like Five Guys where you order your meal at the counter and sit down and they bring your meal to you. For a place that only serves burgers and hot dogs, I wouldn't expect that wait to be very long. We waited as long as we would have at a regular dining restaurant with a full menu and large dining room to get our food. Even on a busy night, I cant comprehend this, as again - it's only burgers and hotdogs. The manager was on the floor, but unfortunately slightly clueless because given the slow service he should have rolled his sleeves up and got on the grill with the cook. Had he been doing this, he probably would have noticed food was not being cooked or sent out correctly. I ordered a double burger green style and urban style (garlic aoli, parmesan, herb), but received a plain burger ZERO toppings. Why would anyone want completely plain burger patties?? Why would a cook not double check the meal ticket before sending that out?? It was clearly indicated (I checked). My significant other received a double burger with center BRIGHT PINK and BLOODY (aka raw) - he didnt request it this way. Not to mention, burgers were flavorless. Unfortunately we were in a rush to attend a going away party for a family member and it wouldn't have been worth the trouble or time to have them make the meal over again.

Eat More Chikin! - Well what does a $30 Cheeseburger look like - well my six year old and I just found out. Was it good? Well? That Depends on a few items. Was the burger tasty? Yes the burger and fries were both good., and I mean good, Not Great and really not $30 great. So here is the skinny two burgers, two fries, and two chocolate milkshakes is what we got. and I don't see how you can stay in business any where but SoHo charging prices like that. The Staff was nice, and the food was cooked really well and delivered about 5 minutes 8 minutes after we ordered. The restaurant was well kept and hip and trendy - bathrooms were clean and even the music made my son dance (oh and its kid friendly to a point as there are no kids portions/menu available) . So all of those things that you like in a fast/Casual restaurant were there but, I just don't see justifying those types of prices. You can get beer and wine, the selection seemed pretty decent and the large patio made for a nice outside dining experience. Other items of note - you can get their ready made burgers or build your own. You can get hotdogs just about any way you can imagine and you can get your fries a multitude of ways - even with Chili (I so wanted to and my wife was even out of town but I know my son would have ratted me out). In conclusion, If you are looking for a burger date night out in SoHo this is the spot for you, if you have a hungry 6 year old not so much.

Second time here... Excellent burger. Freshly made. Friendly staff. Lots of choices of burgers with very good fries (better than 5 guys fries)... Little pricey but comparable to five guys prices I suppose. A plus is they have the bottles of Mexican coke (my fave) and they also have custard too, for those of you who like that kind of thing. Oh, and beer. Lots of beer.

After seeing this place over and over again my fiancee and i had to check it out and see what the fuss was all about. I can't get over the parking there is valet parking which is a lil crazy for a burger joint but like always I parked my car myself. We walked in the place and I couldn't help but notice it look just like Shake Shack back home in Miami. The exact decor the layout everything made me feel as if I were on south beach. The menu is simple pick your burger pick toppings add fries yatta yatta kool i can dig it. Now on to the main event!!!! The Burger.....It was ahhh just okay. The best thing about the burger was the bun and the toppings and that says a lot about the burger. The burger is like Floyd Mayweather this is all we come to see but not here it was very bland and had literally no Flavor at all. The onion rings were huge but lacked flavor as well. I honestly think someone just mashed up Five Guys and Shake Shack and failed to create a better burger joint. So i really see the potential in this spot maybe i will come work here on the weekends and i will season all the beef and i'll let you good folks know when to come through!!

As the prior reviews indicate, this restaurant is very trendy, hip, and cool environment, and is located in a cool area of Hyde Park, The burgers, however were disappointing. I'm a burger guy and had heard so much about Burgerfi so I was eagerly expecting a tasty burger. I asked to have the burger made medium rare, but was told that Burgerfi makes burgers medium well to well done only and could not accommodate this request. That should've been a red flag, but I decided to give it a try since I had heard so many great things about Burgerfi. My wife had her burger green style, which means lettuce is used to replace the bun. I had the Burgerfi burger with lettuce and tomato and the Burgerfi sauce. We found the burgers to be overcooked, dry, and without taste. Our expectations from the hormone and antibiotic free sourcing by this company and the outstanding recommendations from the general populous were definitely not met.

I accidentally ordered some monstrosity of a double pattied mess. (Burger-Fi Burger) While the branded bun was done correctly unlike Shula's sorry attempt long ago, the huge cheesy burger lacked one thing: Fire grilled flavor. These are more like fast food flat top burgers, and sadly, that's really yesterday. Char-grilled flavors are the norm now, leaving this place in the dust. (even BK takes a crack at it, and Outback now offers a "wood-fire grill" menu option) BUT there is a light at the end of this flavorless tunnel. I tried some of my twin's Quinoa Burger, and was instantly questioning my order. The vast array of toppings and beers can't dress up one of their normal burgers, but this is the only Quinoa Burger I've ever tried or seen, and it was great! They are really green in everything they do, they tout recycled wrappers, and all natural hormone free meat. There's a secret menu as well. While a good flame licking would serve the meat at this place well, I could be back for the crispy edged Quinoa Burger, and some hipster soda.

It's a tough one. I have had some of the best burgers from around the country. They were good, but not outstanding. It reminded me of Shake Shack, but was missing something. Cool concept though.

THIS PLACE SUCKS. These burgers do not taste like anything. I am talking about the meat, the beef, the patty. What exactly is it made of? Because it sure is dry, tasteless crap. Also, the "special sauce" they put on the burger is, well, I don't know what it is since they BARELY put any sauce on my burger. I took the bun off my "single" cheeseburger and there was a small squirt of the sauce that was complete absorbed by the bun. In fact, the theme at this restaurant is: 1. Barely any flavor in the burger patty 2. Barely any sauce or toppings on the burger 3. Barely any cheese sauce on the cheese fries 4. Barely any Oreos in my frozen custard The only thing they seem to go overboard on is the portions of fries and onion rings. The "regular" fries is enough for two people. The onion rings are ginormous (too big, actually). But otherwise the burgers are small and they lack flavor and toppings. The hot dogs are also small (especially for the prices they charge). And the toppings on my Chicago dog were really sad. Like a teaspoon of onion. Really? This place really tries to cut corners by skimping on toppings, sauces, etc. Not a good sign. The "concrete" desserts, made of frozen custard, are good. The frozen custard is actually tasty. But if you get a topping or a mix-in, once again they barely put any stuff in there. The service was slow, very slow, and this was a Tuesday night. Parking is a pain in the ass. The music in this place was so fucking loud it gave me a headache. Overall I would say it's probably better to go to Burger King than this joint. I'm JOKING. But seriously this place is a total fail.

We've been patiently waiting for a burger place in Soho and finally it has arrived. The inside decor is upscale which is what you'd expect from the location. Menu was a little overwhelming at first so kept it simple and ordered a BurgerFi Cheeseburger and added bacon, onions and jalapeños. It was a good size and extra messy and delicious. We also ordered fries topped with Parmesan cheese and herbs and onion rings. The fries were limp with no crisp and the flavoring didn't add much flavor. The onion rings were wide and again lacked flavor. Excited to have a burger joint in the neighborhood and will be back for a burger and beer but I won't be adding any fries nor onion rings to the order.

Stopped by for lunch on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by a very friendly staff that was enthusiasticly explained the menu. I decided on the conflicted burger which has 1 beef patty and 1 veggie patty, and I was not disappointed. I would definitely recommend this place. Kalmesha was awesome.

Man o Man! This place was great! I was in the mood for a good burger on the MLK holiday weekend and figured I'd give this spot a shot and it sure did hit the spot. I ordered the Breakfast All Day Burger with an order of Urban fries (Parmesan herb fries drizzled with a delicious garlic aioli), which were recommended off of the Secret Menu by the nicest cashier ever. The burger was amazing!!! Perfectly cooked, the fried egg was great and the bun was really good too. I like how the bun is closed so it holds the burger together well and makes it easy to dip in the highly recommended FI sauce. I will definitely be back and with friends.

An excellent burger experience. Juicy, flavorful, and plenty of add on choices to satisfy ANY burger monger out there. My beautiful wife selected the breakfast all day burger that included bacon, an over medium egg, hash browns, and maple syrup served on top of a juicy angus burger blanketed in cheese. My choice was a 28 day aged double Patty brisket burger topped with bacon, and cheese. We shared an order of fries topped with chili and cheese. The chili cheese fries were just average and I think we will try the delicious looking onion rings on our next visit. The staff was very friendly and asked about our experience and made sure we were happy with our overall experience. Now I will say this whole "gourmet burger" has gotten quite out of hand but BURGERFI made it a little easier to give up $10 for a burger.

This place is awesome. I'm typically not a burger eater and I was very hesitant to visit for that reason. They do have veggie burgers (delicious ones). My last visit, I tried the conflicted burger, one beef one veggie, AMAZING! I'll be back

Great veggie burger - better than most out there. It made coming to a burger joint as a vegetarian enjoyable. Callie, who took our order, was so friendly & helpful. She helped make our first experience fun. If I lived in tampa i would come just to visit her.

BurgerFi is great! It's a clean, classier Five Guys. I had a simple bacon cheeseburger with fries and every bite was delicious. Very tender burger, extra crispy bacon and the potato bun was the perfect touch. Fries were also great, fresh cut and not drenched in grease. I was very impressed and would highly recommend to a friend!

Really delicious food! My favorite food ever is burgers and fries. I had the burger with cheese all the way and got the fry cry which is fresh cut fries with three massive onion rings in top. The meal was really amazing. My fat butt may get a shake next time!

I've been here several times and have never had a bad experience. The burgers are consistently juicy and delicious, the fries are addicting, the custards/concretes are like sweet crack, and the employees are always friendly. Kallie especially can always bring a smile to anyone's face (promote that girl!). On top of all of that, they are very environmentally friendly and eco-sourced. Stop by! You won't regret it.

I took an order to go of two Chicago dogs one chicken apple dog and a basket of fries. I took one little bite and the bread seemed stale so I decided to take the dog apart and check its components and check to see how authentic it was and to my horror the last time I checked hair wasn't a component in a Chicago dog that right there screwed me and my companies whole meal up. Even though the fries were fresh it didn't feed the 4 people eating them even though the lady at the counter said it feeds 8 IDK maybe we just like fries. The burger wasn't too good either I liked five guys burger but it was a little less messy. I know I won't go there again once I find hair in my food that's about it. And for those who might say well maybe it's my own hair let it be known that I'm bald.

This burger place is not just "well branded," the food and experience live up to the hype. Burger Fi is one of the fastest growing burger franchises today. They landed and great location in the South Howard district in Tampa. Have a bite to eat, and then hit the bars, or visa versa. Their menu isn't complicated, but has enough choices to allow people to get creative with the "build your own burger" thing. Great classic burger taste that I'm always looking for, juicy, well seasoned and paired with a good soft bun, with some hand cut fries. Customer service was also a five star rating. Go here.

  • Kevin G.

We have eaten at BurgerFi many times and it's our go-to for burger and fries! We like to get the BurgerFi cheeseburger with Swiss cheese, fries and craft beer. They have a very good selection of craft beers. I either get the night swimmer porter or a cigar city Jai Alai. Prices seem reasonable at around $20 for two. We weren't really impressed with the milkshakes but kids seem to love them as well as the fancy fountain drink machine. A much needed burger joint in S. Tampa!

  • Colton S.

Great alternative if you're looking for a quick burger. Always super juicy. Fries are sub-par, too greasy with little flavor. Variety of alcohol available if you're looking for that. Their ice cream is very good, definitely recommend their "concretes."

  • Frank M.

The SOHO Burger Fi offers everything that you would expect from a new school, elevated fast food burger joint (a la shake shack, In-n-Out, etc.) but what makes the SOHO location special is the staff. Kali and Franny take our experience from good to great every visit; whether by making our concretes "with love" or keeping our to-go food warm in the back while we stay and enjoy the environment. Kudos to Kali and Franny and a great new burger joint.

I don't know where these 5 star reviews are going because it can't be here. First off I have been 3 times and it's the same every time. Loud music. Orders not correct Bland food. People who are saying they have been waiting for a burger joint must not realize that there is an Evo's right across the street with organic burgers and a much calmer environment and most of all great service.

Tried this place out yesterday for the first time. It seemed cool, was really packed on a Saturday afternoon. The place was clean and the decor in line with what I had expected, cool place. I had a cheeseburger with the secret sauce, ketchup and mayonnaise and still had to add some flavor. This is just your regular fast food joint. The burger is small and packed with lots of stuff. Maybe sloppy burger is usually tastey, this was not. The fresh cut fries were good. I would rather Burger Monger, their meat taste better. I guess this place is good for college kids and families on the run, not for a foodie looking for a good tasting burger. We sat at the table and had one of those buzzers that goes off to tell you your food is ready. A couple of tables had them. However, still the servers couldn't find many of the tables. They need a better system.

The place is nice, clean, good service and okay food. There's parking available in the garage behind the building (follow the small sign). I'm a little disappointed with the food...I was expecting GREAT burgers, but even with fresh and natural meat, taste was okay, nothing extraordinary. I had a cheeseburger and the flavor of the cheese overwhelmed the flavor of the meat...in a good burger there has to be a balance of flavor...be able to taste the meat, the cheese and other ingredients...overall excellent place to eat a regular burger...Basically, a five guys (except for their delicious/ unique fries) with local beer. I didn't have their shakes, next time around will definitely try them

I don't really understand the complaints. This place is offering a burger and a craft beer for $10 and you don't have to tip. The price should indicate that you're not going to get the world's best burger, not as if that's the aim here. For what it's worth, I would rather eat here than Five Guys because I like having a beer with a burger, even though Five Guys might be slightly ahead as far as quality. Their goal is to offer a quality product at a good price with a friendly atmosphere. They deliver. The burgers taste decent. The beer list here is competitive with any other place in the area. The shakes and fries are good. I'll be back.

Yesterday was my first time eating at this place and I must say the Chicken Apple Dog, was great. My husband had the veggie burger and he gave it a A+. The young lady Kaily, that helped us was AWESOME. She had an answer to every question, kept a smile, and checked on us to make sure we where happy with everything, I will definitely go back.

Spent 10 minutes ordering. Pretty inefficient when gift card doesn't work. Debit card doesn't work... And multiple tries, and finally a manual entry worked for the debit card. I hate to write all of this and I haven't even gotten to the food yet. Food was out in four minutes...happy about that. OverAll not pleasant.

Great atmosphere. Delicious burgers, craft beer, and custard! This was much needed in the SoHo area and I can guarantee I will utilize the patio many, many days in the future. The managers are awesome too!! :)

The staff are not only unprofessional, but rather obnoxious. I stood behind a couple, waiting to place my order, and a worker asked, "Are you with them? Because I'm not gonna help you if you are." And she left while I was walking just a few steps to her. When I got to the counter, I asked the cashier if, by any chance, they had gluten-free buns. She said "No, but we have multigrain! I know that's not exactly the same." True. It's exactly the opposite, but thanks. I got a "lettuce bun", which was kind of a cute idea, although not practical. The Coke Freestyle machines are not sensitive enough to human touch, and so they must be poked vigorously to respond. And the giant "PUSH" button sticks. How are these brand new machines already having problems? When my food arrived, I was missing two condiments and one topping I had ordered. My "alternative fries" had what looked like one small scoop of onion and oil dabbed on the center of the pile of unseasoned fries. (I will say, though, that my friend's parmesan and garlic aioli fries were fantastic!) When I asked for the two condiments that were missing, I wasn't acknowledged, except with an eyeroll. The employee did come back with them, but never said a word. I'm not sure if the good reviews on here are from heavily-supervised visits or if the crew during the day are just vastly different and more pleasant, friendly, and professional than the night crew, but our experience left a lot to be desired. While I can't speak for my friends, I can say definitively that once was too much for me. PS: Get rid of the tip jar. You do not have a service staff.

The burgers were good. Had the Cry&Fries. Onion rings were good. My fries were a little on the under done side, I like mine a little more on the done side. Great menu so you should be able to find something yiu like. Overall I give it 4 Yum-yums.

When you opened a month ago, I would have written a great review. Too bad the quality didn't last very long. Took the kids, wife and mom. The girl taking our order was as lost as last year's Easter egg. It became very apparent when our food came and it want close to what we ordered. One of the burgers was supposed to have lettuce, tomato and special sauce... It came with cheese and meat. When I asked the girl to look into it, she just took it back and halfway tossed the items that were supposed to be on the burger. I got the alternative burger and the onions and cheese were barely on the burger at all. I got maybe one bite the way it should have been. What I thought was going to be a great new neighborhood burger joint is turning out to be just another fast food joint with beer, fancier tables and higher prices.

Today was my family's first time going to a BurgerFi and will definitely not be our last. Not only was the service GREAT but the burgers were AMAZING. The man who took our order was so incredibly friendly and informative. The food was cooked to perfection and the toppings were so good. The pickles were amazing! We also got the bacon cheese fries which were good. The BurgerFi stamp on the burger was a nice touch :)

It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special. They don't give you plates which makes it kind of awkward because they serve your burgers on a tray type of thing, but only give you one per order.

I usually don't like to write bad reviews but I am compelled to do it this time just so that the owner of the place can fix the problems it will be a shame that such an investment would go to the gutter. First off I ordered a burger with ketchup mustard and grilled onions. The burger was ultra dry and they put less than a 1/2 teaspoon of what they called grilled onions. A friend ordered the chicken apple dog he said it was ok. My brother ordered two chicago dogs he took a bite of the first and the bun fell apart usually a sign it was not fresh anyway he took off the pickle and tomato and finds a hair in it so he tossed the hotdog and refused to try the second one. The fries where fresh we did have plenty but at the counter she stated it feeds eight it was only enough for 4 tops in any stretch we ordered the big bucket size. I really hope the owners train more and maybe one day I'll try it again and be more than happy to remove the bad review.

Never understand why businesses don't try to encourage patrons to write yelp reviews by offering some kind of incentive like a free drink, but that's just the marketing guy in me. As for the food, it was ok; not amazing, not terrible. The burger reminded me of L.A's In & Out burger; something between fast food and gourmet burger joints (leaning closer to the former). I tried the signature single Burgerfl burger. The meat patty was slim, but juicy. I didn't taste the signature sauce at all. Although small, for $4 it's not bad. The fries were tasty and thick cut. The only snag came when I came to get my phoned in order. The person on the phone told me to go to the express line, but when I got to the express cash, the cashier, though bubbly, basically waived me away, my name wasn't in her system and said I had to go try the other cash instead (?). You would think all the orders are accessible through any cash register. In addition, while I waited for my order to be called out (although I called 20 mins in advanced), I saw a few packed bags were just sitting at the desk. Finally, an employee came to check who's order it was and called out my name, but didn't check to see if all items had been packed correctly. Lo and behold, when I opened my order bag, the Parmesan fries I ordered were replaced by someone else's non dressed fries and onion rings. I welcome new businesses to the neighborhood and hope with a little extra training, the staff will get their act together.
