Best steak you can get with a great local environment. This place seams new to the area but it's an intimate place with great music (andrea Bocelli) and rotating images of brazil on the tvs... you can tell the owner is doing everything he can to make sure the customers are having a wonderful experience. He even gave us an amazing guava ice cream dessert that I would highly recommended... This Food is great and similar to the other corporate chains but why would you go there when you can just come here for less money and support local?

This was overpriced. The meat wasn't terrible but we won't be back. My husband and I were under the impression from a recent google review posted by the owner that the unlimited meat and salad bar was $25 per person on weekday evenings. Instead, the bill was $70 for meat/salad for the two of us, $6 for mere sparkling water, and then tax and a $12 "service charge." We didn't even get wine or coffee/dessert. And the $90 didn't include the tip. The food and atmosphere was good, but not $90 good. We feel ripped off. Service was decent but quite slow. And they need to finish the drywalled entryway pronto because the construction site is an eyesore -- especially when paying $90.

I try to only indulge in the Brazilian Churrascaria experience about once per year so since Bull Grill opened recently it's been on my to-eat list! It's a lot smaller than the chains, but the service and meats are up to par. The salad bar spread is smaller, but the quality of the items on the bar are really good and kept clean and presentable. My favorite bar items was the paella, hearts of palm, black beans and the cabbage salad. I think it's a great alternative to the chain in town and I would recommend it to anyone wondering if they should go. The food and the service is fantastic. Some meats I liked better than others. Surprisingly, I liked the chicken and chicken hearts the most! The Parmesan crusted steak was just okay. The other beef options were tasty. The lamb was melt in your mouth delish. What I think should be changed: 1. Add more salads & veggies to the salad bar. Way too many mayo based salads as opposed to actual veggies. 2. More lamb choices. Was there for almost 2 hours before a piece of lamb was offered. Would be nice to see lamb chops and a leg of lamb. 3. More than one cheese on the salad bar please. 4. Tea shouldn't be charged refills. 5. The price point should be more like $23 for what you get. 6. The 12% service charge is unnecessary and will probably get people not to leave a better tip since you assume people won't leave one. My family usually leaves an average of 20%...more for great service and less (15%) for bad service. So the service charge addition is insulting when the party isn't 8 people. I'd be curious to know if this was only imposed on my family. 7. Pass the chicken hearts more often. :)

Yay meat! I heart chicken heart! Tonight was my second time dining at Bull Grill and both of my experiences have been great. Kim and his staff are friendly, attentive, and an overall pleasure to deal with. Bull Grill may not have quite the selection as the other popular Brazilian Steakhouse in Tampa, but it does have one of the most caring restaurant owners I have ever met. Kim is more than a figurehead in the restaurant. He is constantly moving whether it is checking on patrons and filling in where necessary. He is the heart and soul of Bull Grill. The salad bar is a small one, but the selections are tasty. Some of my faves were the Paella, the soup, and the Garbanzo beans. Also, remember to grab some of the green sauce from the salad bar. The sauce's flavor complements most of the meat choices. The meats are delicious. You need to try all of them because people will vary with their choices. My top three favorites are the chicken hearts, the sausage, and the spare ribs. The chicken hearts are my absolute favorite because they are so full of flavor. I ate eight of them tonight because they were so good. Desserts at Bull Grill are delicious too. We had the tiramisu and chocolate ice cream. The tiramisu tasted strongly of coffee, but was good. The chocolate ice cream had an interesting nutty flavor that grew on me with every bite I took. Thank you to Kim and the Bull Grill staff for another great dining experience. We will definitely be back soon.

A poor man's Texas De Brazil. In comparison, it's not in the same class, (not that I was expecting it to be) but in all fairness, it's not too far off. There was plenty of meat to go around, the chicken and the lamb were tops for me. Can think of maybe three cuts that I wasn't crazy about... the brisket was my least favorite, too much fat for my liking. The buffett was decent, the black beans were delish... the paella wasn't the best I've ever had, but worth the serving nonetheless. Everything else they had laid out was nice and fresh but just ok. They could use a larger variety. I have yet to try them during lunch hours so I can only speak for what they have going on during Dinner. Having said that, Bull Grill is really no more than a 3.5 star restaurant, this is based more so on the value, it just didn't add up in the end. The price per person should at least include drinks. Again, the food was very good, just not worth the asking price. If anything, the service was terrific, those servers do a great job, they are very friendly and attentive. Would I mind going back? No, but only if in the mood for a fancy Lunch.

This has taken me awhile to get all of my thoughts together. This review, I am going to do a bit differently as this is an independent taking on large expensive chain restaurants . Let's be honest here, we are not going to an all you can eat meat restaurant, because we want a salad. We are going to get our primal carnivore on & eat meat & more meat and then repeat, until the overwhelming, cavwman carnivorous appetite is surpressed & you are stuffed with your fill of meat. This establishment is located on Armenia Avenue, south of Hillsborough. It is in a nondescript strip mall on the west side of Armenia Ave. If you are not looking for it, you could miss it, even though their signage is good. First & foremost from the owner Kim, constantly hustling to the rodizio tableside meat carvers, servers, bussers (including the owner!), water glasses never got empty, clean plates were always available, dirty plates whisked away, wine poured & even an offer to be escorted to our vehicle with an umbrella, as we did not have one......most impressive. NOW THAT IS SERVICE ABOVE & BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY! The interior is dimly lit & had candles on the tables along with white table clothes with white paper covering , I wouldn't call it romantic, but it's very quaint. The salad bar was sufficient & fresh, but nothing extraordinary. Behind the salad bar was a full line up of hot dishes. There is a 3 container soup/stew station that had chicken vegetable soup, split pea soup & a beef soup all with copious amounts of meat in them. Multiple covered chafing dishes holding yellow rice, beef stew, white rice, pork roast & a ground beef dish, were present for you dining pleasure. None of these dishes were labeled & personally I fell it would be quite helpful, if they had some type of signage. Personally I don't understand the 2 starches being offered being rice & if that is the case maybe some brown or wild rice would be better. Now for the tableside meat! We were most impressed with the top sirloin, hanger steak, delicious marinated white chicken and the pork roast, all of these were cooked perfectly and arrived hot to the table. I'm sorry I can't say we were impressed with the spare rib, veal, garlic steak, brisket, rolls or yucca fries. I need to add that we love garlic, but some of the dishes just had an all consuming & overpowering taste of garlic. I was so ready for the cheese rolls & had heard so much about them, I couldn't wait to taste them. They were running behind that night & a new batch was coming out of the oven, how lucky were we, we were stoked!. Then they arrived, they were small, light & airy, but there was no cheese flavor to be found anywhere. This just made them plain little nondescript rolls. I must admit the little restaurant certainally did fill up quickly with patrons, for a rainy week night. It was also obvious that a few of the patrons were return customers, all great signs for the restaurant. If you are in a carnivorous mood, really hungry or just want to feel appreciated & pampered, stop by & enjoy to your tummies content. Price wise, it is a great deal compared to other offering in the Tampa Bay area. Service is phenomenal, without being pretentiousness, very welcoming. What's a girl to do? Yes, I will definitely return & I will try the items we were not impressed with, the best chef can have an off evening.

Bought a Groupon voucher that was 2 people and a bottle of wine for 40 bucks. Probably the best deal ever. Have to suggest just flat out skipping the rice and side dishes. Just do the meats. Top sirloin medium rare, pork tenderloin and chicken hearts were my favorites. Save room for the tres leches cake, different and very good.

I've always been a fan of Brazilian steakhouse. Having try multiple Brazilian grill in the area, I can honestly can the experience at this place is on par wirh some of the best one out there. My girlfriend and I purchased a groupon deal, it included wine and full course entree. There's a nice salad bar, a buffet with various stews along with rice and beans. I tried every meat there is to offer, including garlic steak, top sirloin, sausage, chicken... and one of my favorite was the lamb. The manager is very professional, came over and said hi and even opened the wine for us. He hold his staff to a very Hi standard with the way they dress, how they cut the meat and the proper way to serve. It's very rare to find such high standard with management. The restaurant is not very big, but decoration and music were subtle and relaxing. We opt to try their tiramisu and chocolate cake, they were nicely presented and tasted like the desert I tried in fancy cruise ship. All in all, I enjoyed my evening there and would definitely recommend others to try it out.

Bull Grill is keeping it classy on Armenia. Since I am an old lady trapped in a heffer's body, I tried Bull Grill as soon as they opened on a weekday for lunch. We were the only table in the place, and the food was still coming out for the buffet and very fresh. So, I cannot vouch for the issues that other people are having with the restaurant being too crowded and having bad service. For me, it was the exact opposite. So, if you want to avoid the crowds, I recommend trying them for lunch. The price is really cheap for the amount and quality of the food offered. Sure, they do not have Lobster Bisque and Peel-n-eat shrimp on the bar like the $50 place over by the mall. But, Bull Grill offers more flavorful meat to my taste for $17.99/lunch in a location that is more comfortable for me. Just like any other steakhouse of this type; the buffet, bread, and meat are unlimited. Drinks and dessert are not included. I am normally not a fan of chicken, but the chicken has a great marinade with so much flavor. My other two favorite meats are the Chicken Hearts and Garlic Steak. If you would like your beef to be more rare, then make the request. The food is fresh with no preservatives, so I don't feel lightheaded and tired after eating here. After eating at Bull Grill, expect to be burping garlic for days. I know... I'm gross. The total on the receipt is not always what you are charged. In our case, the total with tip was around $40.00 for two people. But, once our credit card charge went through, it showed up as $50.00. Maybe there is some sort of surcharge?

I went with my girlfriend to the Bull Grill on 9/19/15 for the first time. It was AMAZING! First the owner is there and introduces himself and is very personable. Service was outstanding. Very clean and warm atmosphere. The meats where delicious. We were stuffed at the end. I recommend this place and I will definetly be back! Thank you for your GREAT SERVICE!!! Quite disappointed. Their website and FB page both state they are open for lunch. I took a client there and the doors were padlocked shut. I called to inquire about the padlocks and their hours. They told me they are only open for dinner.

Good quality of foods. We enjoyed the hot stewed items as much as the steak and chicken hearts. Those hot stews tasted just like grand ma's cooking...yummy! Service was great as well!

This place was wonderful! Atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was great! . Almost too good. :) But maybe it was because it was a Monday night and they were slow. The buffet was a meal in itself. Will definitely come back!

Fantastic!! The meat is so tender and juicy! My favorites are the sirloin & lamb cuts. The gentleman serving the meat is so friendly! So are the two women attending to our table! They're all so welcoming, especially after I told them that we're here for my mom's birthday! They also have a buffet area with rice (cooked perfectly, not too soft & not undercooked) and different meat dishes. My favorite is the meat and potato stew-like dish. The beef is tender and very flavorful. It pairs well with the rice. They also have difference soups, our favorite was the black bean soup. It was very savory! When we're back in Tampa, this will be the first place I re-visit!!

Just took some to go and it is the best Brazilian food I ever had in Tampa! I would definitely recommend to check it out the price is right...those little cheese breads are my favorite. I must almost give a shout out to the chef...the paella was really good! The meats were juicy. So happy I did a Togo order so know I can eat it again tonight!

Worst Brazilian steakhouse that I've been to. All of the meat was extremely overcooked.

We loved it, tho we ate way too much! Our favorite was the pork sausage and pork loin. The rarer beef brisket and steak was also wonderful. The meal was delicious and very generous. We want to come back and bring some friends!

It's a small space that can't seem to figure out whether it's a restaurant or a sports bar: walk in coolers & big screen TVs vs. fine dining. Meat is over-done & quite salty. Little else in the way of seasoning. About five side dishes, including plain rice and a rather weirdly flavored paella. Minuscule salad bar. Dry, cold cheese pucks (supposedly bread) and hard yucca sticks. Not worth $35 per person.

  • Ofelia R.

The worst $90 for two people I've ever spent. The place looks worth maybe $20 per person. The soda is $3.00. The buffet bar is horrible. Nobody speaks English. The meat is overcooked. The place is small. It's a Boizao or Texas de Brazil wanna be. When I got the bill, I almost choked. Will never ever be back here again. It's no wonder the prices are not posted. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the aggravation OH and a 12% service charge. When you find out what it's for please let me know. Horrible. And loud ass music blasting in your ear.

They've only been open 4 days. It was a fun dining experience. I wanted to try this Brazilian style since I first heard of it so I was excited to see this new restaurant open up. We got some items from the salad bar and buffet after we got our drinks. I didn't care for the macaroni salad with ham as I mistook the mayo for melted cheese - way too much mayo. Its about $20 a plate. The drinks were a good deal $5 a beer and $6 a cocktail- my margarita looked great- it had tons of limes in it but I couldn't taste any tequila and didn't feel it either. The service was great everyone was kind and attentive. So on to the barbecue- the flank steak was alright but I would skip it, it's pretty dry. The chicken hearts were pretty good. The lamb was good. The cheese puffs are delicious and they just come with the meal. I think we also tried rare beef - it was some type of beef and I just thought it was tough. Overall we had a great time trying things - I think that this style of barbecue may not be my style in terms of how the meat is cooked. I would recommend it just for something different.

The Bull Grill Steakhouse is serving mouth-watering meals in a amazing designed layout, which provided me an extraordinary experience. The energy and atmosphere of the restaurant is high, and exciting in my point of view. I was treated with priority and warmth. If i have to decide where to spend my entertainment dollar, the Bull grill steakhouse is on top of my list "amazing". Also, the staff was cheerful, courteous, and focused on pleasing.

Come hungry because there's plenty of great food at Bull Grill. My preference was definitely for the excellent rare sirloin, chicken breast, and ribs but go slow the amount of food will creep up on you. Definitely recommend if you are on low carb like myself and want a new place to get your flame grill on.

Can I get a M?! Can I get an E?! Can I get an A?! Can I get a T?! What does that spell?! MEAT!! (and lots of it!) We wanted to avoid the crowds on Father's Day, so we came here for an early celebration the day before. I've heard great things from Rachel M. and Nick S. and wanted to try this place myself. I'm also a big carnivore, so how could I not go?! Especially for the price!! You just can't beat it! I was told by Rachel M. that if you call ahead the owner will make Korean BBQ. So I did just that! I called and spoke to the owner. He was really friendly and accommodated my request. The interior and decor of the place is nice. Some of the staff didn't speak English, but that wasn't a huge issue. It's like going to an authentic Chinese restaurant; you may encounter a language barrier. But, in general, how much ordering/communication will you do at a buffet? The concept is still the same at this Brazilian steak house compared to others in the area. The service was excellent. The meat tasted amazing. It wasn't overly salty like another Brazilian steakhouse I've been to. I LOVED the Beef ribs; they were my favorite! The beef brisket was my second favorite. The chimichurri sauce was also delicious! I will be back. It was delicious and my family thoroughly enjoyed their experience here! Now, because this is a mom and pop place, and not a huge chain with over 35 locations, be prepared for some things if you come. Like all Brazilian steakhouses, drinks other than tap water will cost extra. If you can eat dessert after all that meat, yes, that too, will cost extra. The salad bar is small and the meat selection is semi-limited, compared to the big name chain. But overall, it's still yummy and a great price. There is a service fee, which is their gratuity. It's automatically on the bill. I personally wish it was placed somewhere visible, so that people aren't surprised when they get their bill. But that is my only complaint. Don't come during the holidays (so you can avoid the crowds) unless you're VERY patient and want to wait. Again, it's a mom and pop restaurant. If you want 5 star dining and experience, then this may not be the place for you. One doesn't go to Wal-Mart to have the same shopping experience as shopping at Whole Foods Market-they are on two separate levels. If all that doesn't bother you, then please go try Bull Grill. It's worth it!

Loved it. All the meats were fabulous. Service was excellent. The owner is super nice. The sauces are great and the dried yucca topping interesting. Green one my fav. Yucca fries and cheese puff balls yummo. I had to try a little feijoada over rice and it was yummy. I skipped most of buffet in favor of the meats brought out tableside. Too much great food. Over the top fun in a very nice place with very nice peeps serving up delicious rodizio. Take your time and enjoy. And choose wisely because there is a LOT of food. Don't let Kim's dragon tattoo scare you off. Tell him Nick sent you. I will DEFINITELY be back.

An interesting place I am not sure I would have pulled in here at first glance but they did a great job with the service and the chicken and pork were excellent! Their salad bar left quite a bit to be desired as there was only lettuce and side salads and no other toppings r choice of dressing other than oil & vinegar. BUT, people don't really come here for the salad and they had a variety of hot dishes on a buffet in addition to the constant flow of rodizio meats. The steak varied in juiciness and seasoning but their chicken and pork were melt in your mouth phenomenal!!

I don't even know where to start. We have loved every Brazilian steakhouse we have ever been to, but we can no longer say that. The service was piss poor. We had to ask someone to get us a drink after waiting at the table for a few minutes with no one approaching us. There is not a server designated to your table. There were two people serving meat, which meant there were never more than 2 types of meat on the restaurant floor at any time and there was a long period of time between your meat offerings. After being there over an hour we were offered 8 types of meat, 4 of which were not steak. The meat was not flavorful and not served hot. There were multiple times that meat came out of the kitchen and ran out before it was offered to our table, or was served to one table then returned to the kitchen to be cooked more. That being said, I like my steak rare to medium rare and the steak they offered was very very rare, and very cool to the touch. The salad bar had only one type of dressing (a guacamole/chimmichurri combination) and no salad toppings to go with it (not even croutons). It was more of a "sides bar" with bland potato salad, corn and broccoli. Overall this was a huge disappointment. $100 for a party of 2 and we felt like we definitely overpaid for poor food and service. Needless to say this was our first and last time dining at Bull Grill.

What makes Bull Grill Amazing???!!! How about the fact that their attention to detail in all angles is highly noticeable. So Bull Grill is like any Brazilian steak houses that one may have been to, but Bull Grill is local, and their food and drink options are extraordinary. You start with the buffet, and try a little bit of this and that. Your options are different types of chicken, paella, chicken soup, beans and rice, salads, beets. Just to name a few. You will want to make sure you pace yourself for the meat. Don't forget to try the cheese bread and yucca. Yes it is a must here. Where else can you get fluffy balls of cheese bread, and perfectly crisp yucca. Make sure to wash your food down with one of their fruit drinks like passion fruit, mango, pineapple, guava, almond, caipirinhas, wine, beer, or guarana. Are you ready for the MEAT? Flip the red to green, and boom the gauchos are a coming, hovering like crazy, with care and love to bring their nicely perfectly seasoned MEAT. There are 10 meat options including different cuts or servings of beef, chicken, pork, sausage, ham, and lamb. The seasoning is just right, and not salty like the ocean. I do have a sensitivity to salt too. If you want a dipping sauce, the green sauce is my fave of them all. There's at least three options. My fave meats were the chicken and the steaks with garlic, yummy. I also tried chicken heart. It looked teeny tiny, but it had lots of flavor. I know you want something sweet to cleanse your palate after all the meat. My group tried three dessert options thanks to the owner Kim. We tried their flan, tiramisu, and tres leches cake. Tres leches won first place in my world. It was just perfectly sweet, but not too sweet. Service here is beyond amazing. We were like kings and queens in a feast. Everyone at Bull Grill was extremely welcoming and helpful. They definitely took great care of us. Our experience from the start to finish was phenomenal. Come in as strangers, leave as family with a big full belly. Prices are great too. Lunch on Saturdays and Sundays are $20. Can't beat that! I will be back for sure.

Bull Grill is truly the Brazilian Grill in the Bay Area. The restaurant is actually located at the vibrant Hispanic Community neighborhood. It is easy located at Armenia a few block south of the Hillsborough. Love the setting inside. It does not matter dinner or lunch, it is cloth napkin service. The best time and value is the Saturday and Sunday lunch because weekday you have to return to work and you cannot stay long. The restaurant is my first time try on. I have tried many Brazilian and fell that they are too salty or too much of MSG in the seasoning. However, this restaurant is different in very good way. The seasoning is perfect and not over power. Love the food here, it come with wave. I mean tidal wave!!! Please pace yourself for the meat. There are 10 different cut of beef. In addition to the beef, they have chicken, chicken heart, ham and pork. My favor is the chicken heart. The beef have Picanha, Alcatra...... Forget about the names; just ask the waiter to cut for you if it is look good for you. Love it, eats it; what do you waiting for if they already bring in front of you. Kim is the owner that super nice to us. Our table got free three different deserts - the tres-leches, tiramisu, and Flan. I like the tres-leches. They make the tres-leches very spongy and soak well with the milk. This is a great desert that make in Spanish recipe. I forgot to mention, there is more behind the all you can eat salad bar. I like the mango salsa. They also prepare the paella, different type of chicken at the salad bar. The service is good, the meat in good material, the choice is a lot, and the people are nice. Love this place and will be back. They deserve a five star for all the above.

Bull Grill was a pleasant surprise and is now my go-to choice for Brazilian BBQ. Small and family owned, you could tell from the moment you walked in they wanted everything to be perfect. I can really appreciate small businesses where the owners and staff truly care versus some chain where it is just a paycheck. The flavor of all of the meat was excellent, not overly salty and plenty of options from medium-rare to well done. They even offered chicken hearts, which are quite tasty. For lack of a better phrase, the salad bar is relatively small compared to similar restaurants, but the quality is excellent and the reality is you are coming for the meat. The prices are very reasonable and combined with the attentive staff and delicious food, we will definitely be back.

Went there this past weekend for an early dinner. The staff was super nice and the food was descent - knowing the Brazilian churrasco well, I would say that this is place is not the same as Texas de Brazil if you've been there before. They don't offer as many meat options, the salad and hot buffet are much much smaller and the quality of the meats are ok (tasty though). Again, if you want to try a Brazilian BBQ and not pay the high price of the competition, Bull Grill is a good option. Don't forget to ask for Picanha (try tip -- most famous Brazilian cut) and their marinaded chicken is really good too. Worth trying it!

Good for the cheap(er) price. With most Brazilian Steakhouses I expect to pay $40 for dinner. Although I don't know the exact price (since we got a groupon) I've read that it is between $20-$30. I guess that isn't really considered cheap, but relative to other Brazilian Steakhouses it is! That being said, there are less options than the average Brazilian Steakhouse. For example, the salad bar didn't have the variety I'm used to. No cheesy potatoes or huge selection of meats and cheeses. I ended up just getting potato salad and cabbage rolls. I usually fill up at the salad bar, but that didn't happen here. My husband said he appreciated that, because he could focus solely on the meat. Usually my favorite food at a Brazilian Steakhouse is the cheesy bread and here was no exception. They bring a plate of fried yucca and cheesy bread. The fried yucca was a little stale. The cheesy bread was delicious. They bring three at a time so I kept asking for more. I ended up eating 8! I could live off of cheesy bread. All the meat was seasoned well. The meat ranged from rare to well. The brisket was very good. I also really enjoyed the sirloin. My husband ate to his heart's content. Everyone who works here is very friendly. I felt well taken care of. For a Brazilian Steakhouse, this is a very good deal. Even with the limited selection I can't imagine spending so much more to go anywhere else. I think this place is a fantastic concept, offer the solid basics of a Brazilian Steakhouse, cut out the fluff and charge less.

Have been interested since this place opened and dropped in once without staying to eat...since it was empty. So I feared the place would not make it....a steak place tucked in among Cuban/Colombian/Boricuan eateries in every block of N. Armenia....and the only Brazilian place having failed years back. But high ratings from trusted Yelpers and a Groupon to offset the cost brought us in. We were delighted overall. The place was not packed but had about 6 tables filled about 6 pm...enough to justify a steady stream of skewered meat options. We ended up trying at least bites of about 8, liking the lamb, top sirloin & teriaki chicken best (no hearts while we were there) The salad bar has been upgraded based on prior reviews....lots of fresh veggies/fruits for salad building, plus olives, dried tomatoes, pickled garlic, cheese etc. The hot bar offered paella, white rice, picadillo, garbanzo stew, chicken soup, black beans, stewed chicken....plus sauces. The decor is simple and tasteful with great videos of Brazil/Rio highlights. Service was highly attentive without being pesty....wine/water glasses refilled faithfully. And the owner Kim and others checked repeatedly to insure everything was fine. No language problem at all wth good description of meats and other dishes. We were charged nothing beyond the Goupon with no hinting about tipping. However we did tip well based on fine service...and then had to delay leaving due to a sudden rain deluge...only to be offered a complimentary dessert...a fine tres leches. BTW, they are no longer open for lunch. We are proud to have such a fine restaurant in our neighborhood, and wish them well and the patronage of other Yelpers.

This is a decent Brazilian BBQ buffet. For those unfamiliar with the concept, Brazilian BBQ buffets has waiters that bring skewers of different meat to your table and trim you pieces of them. They also have a salad bar, some soup, and hot food items. Compared to regular buffets Brazilian BBQ buffets have much more meat options but limited other options. Def for meat eaters not vegans. The food was good for the price. It is no Texas de Brazil and far from the food I have had in the ironbound district in Newark and restaurants in NYC. The hot food options are mediocre. Most of the items are too salty and not seasoned correctly. The meats are delicious and but can be a hit or miss. If the meat is fresh, it is delicious. Other times it is old and too dry. They should enforce quality control better and throw out old meat. Don't serve me left over meat from lunch to me for dinner. The meats are a bit salty as well. Please don't play that buffet game and salt all the food so people eat less. They also need to have better sauces. They don't have chimmy churry sauce nor an onion vinegarette The service is okay. They are a bit hard to understand at times. They also need to stop up selling drinks. I don't need to be asked 3 times by the manager, waiter and waitress . The meat need to be delivered more efficiently. They are very attentive and nice. The restaurant is very clean. The decor is clean and above average. I would bring friends but def not a first date kind of place. They need better music. In conclusion, if you like meat, this is a place you must check out. It's good but not the best either. I might be a bit jaded having spent a lot of time in Brazilian neighborhoods.

This place is good but if you come here expecting it to be Texas de Brazil you will be disappointed. It has more of an authentic Brazilian feel to it and I bought the groupon for my visit here which was a good value, it includes a bottle of wine (you get to pick between a Spanish red or white table wine ) they had sirloin steak, flank steak, brisket, chicken , pork loin and sausage for meat and different types of rice, beans and some other side choices. The servers were very attentive and the owner came over to our table twice to check on us. Overall it's a good place to come for all you can eat meat.

I do not know how to begin. Let's see. Ok first the buffet is very tiny and only a few choices which I only liked two... The meat is nice, but I spend like an hour and I just got a few choices, including one that was like leather, way too dry! The server was very nice! When I asked for pao de queijo, they gave me only 2 pieces.... For 45.00 per person I think I deserved a basket!!! The atmosphere is nice, that's a plus... But never again... I rather go to Texas de Brazil.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have eaten at Fogo... Texas De Brazil... and more. I am a big fan of mom and pop establishments and the wife and I love to go out of our way to give them support as much as we can. Bull Grill has moved to the top of our list as a "MUST RETURN". I could do a side by side comparison of the meats here vs either of the big two I listed. But there's no need. Literally I had one dry cut of meat and everything after that was so good, I can't even remember what it was. All of the meats were succulent, moist and tender. The only effort needed was in making more room to keep my table card green. The gauchos were on their A game. They were quite busy this particular evening, but they seemed to remember which meats I liked more than others and kept them coming without me having to ask. They were friendly, attentive and never missed a beat. The wait staff was equally as friendly and attentive. They kept our drinks full and stayed engaged with us as diners without being intrusive. There was a language barrier with us and our server, but personally it added to the authenticity of the meal and the overall experience. She was wonderful, saw me eyeballing a particular dessert and made sure that it arrived to me with a cappuccino in tow. The owner made it a point to visit every table, and we were no exclusion. He was attentive and friendly. He had friends dining in the restaurant this particular evening and he treated everyone with the same courtesy and attentiveness. The restaurant was clean and bright (maybe a little too bright? but not bad)... Server staff were all friendly and attentive Dining room was welcoming and open Bathrooms were clean Salad bar quality was excellent. Not as many options as the chains, but I didn't come to Brazilian BBQ for a salad. Meats: AMAZING.. no bad choices Price: They could have charged more and I would have been fine with it.

I took my family and their friend here tonight. It was a really good experience. The food is almost to no end! What makes it difficult is when to stop!! The beef/steak, chicken and lamb were amazing. The service was outstanding. They do an amazing job! From the yuca, bread, water, sodas- and the continuous check in by the wait staff and the personal attention of the manager!!!! Wow!!! We felt like we were VIPs!!! Do yourself and your family a favour. Visit this place. You will enjoy yourself. Bull Grill is a great choice for Brazilian Beef Experience. It's not the high end place but sure is the high end food and service and a little less in cost! Who complains about that????

Not worth your time. Only 5 meat selections with the garlic steak having an over powering taste of garlic. My son had a fly that flew into his food and died and we saw this as a sign. Better to go to a more popular Brazilian steak house if you want to spend the $.

The worse place ever!!! Horrible, nasty and expensive. Pay extra $ and go to the real deal... Texas de Brazil!

Hospitality in all capital letters. The owner set a table for us outside to allow us to bring our small dog. Pleasant table in a quiet space that was set with three tables so we did not feel isolated and exposed. The owner came to the table to talk many times and we had an great time talking about travel and food. The buffet was top notch and so much nicer than the big chain steakhouses. We will be back. I wish I had taken more pictures. Thank you for a great night.

I can't say anything bad about this place! The price is right! The food is spectacular! The owner, Kim is such a great person! We have been to this place 4 times and each time we bring more people because the food is that good! You will not be paying Texas de Brasil prices. The buffet is not as extravagant as their competitors, but we all come for one thing, THE MEAT! The quality is amazing and they have so many varieties of meat that I have yet to taste. My favorite is the top sirloin. So tender, just the right amount of fat to make it extra tasty!! We seem to always come here at the end of the night and we never feel rushed to leave even after they have closed. My only critique is the lighting should be a little dimmer for dinner. I highly recommend this place! A little bit of attention to your customers goes a long way. We already feel like family!

Got a groupon to go here on a date with my wife. We were a bit overdressed for the area, but had a good time and great food. The meat was a little slower in coming than the normal Brazilian Steakhouse and we had to request chicken a couple of times, but the food was outstanding otherwise. We will go back someday!

If there was a negative option to rate this place instead of just one star, that's the rating I would give them. Salads and such are served as a buffet, unfortunately not a single option was good. Not one! Garbanzo beans from the can, watery over washed lettuce, unseasoned cabbage salad, beats also from the can. It was sad to look and taste. Having previously been to Brazil and experienced amazing flavors of this country, I was very disappointed. The meat come after: chicken, various cuts of steak, pork, sausage, ribs. There were plenty of options and all of them had one thing in common - over cooked. Everything was just impossible to eat. Steak was all well done. All! Every single cut was well done! Chicken was burned! Everything was just beyond terrible, a horrible parody on what a place like this should be. Desserts that we shared at our table were just as terrible. Tres leche tasted like it only had one leche, condensed milk was nowhere to be found. Tiramisu hardly had any mascarpone and was bitter. Cheesecake was over baked. Terrible, terrible, terrible! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, don't spend your hard earned money on bad food!

They tried... We did one round of the limited selection of meats, waitress basically ignored us for the full 30 mins we were there. but the biggest surprise was the $143 bill for a pretty crappy plate of food, a beer and a glass of wine for 2 adults and 2 kids. do yourself a favor and just head over to Texas de Brasil. For the extra 20 you will get excellent service and quality food. The price point for a place like this would have been fine in the 20-25 pp range, 10 for kids, but not anything more.

Wonderful service! Devine taste. Bull Grill knows how to make your tastebuds dance:). Even the staff very professional, friendly and attentive. Their establishment was very clean. It was raining when we left and the owner was at the door ready to walk me out with an umbrella! Thanks for a great carnivores birthday dinner, cheers!

My wife and I decided to try this new place that opened about a month ago. The place is very clean, and contemporary looking, the price of the food isn't bad, except for the 3.00 Guarana, the Service which we are very big on was actually pretty good! The variety of food wasn't bad, the only reason I did not give this place 4 stars is for a few simple reasons.... 1, the cheese bread was cold. 2, the French fries that come along with the Rodizio were cold as well. So I don't know if they want to invest in a bigger or better heat?! 3, the rice needed a little more salt, and the meat a little more seasoning. Fix those... And we would definitely return.

The food and service was awesome. If you like your meat well done you may be challenged. My only negative was we showed up on father's day with reservations and they disregarded and said at least an hour wait.It seemed they were very overwhelmed and had a disregard for our time and for thought to make reservations. But due to the good Yelp reviews we returned and weren't disappointed at all. My advice go during the week and enjoy the first time.

Pros: Nice and clean setting. Great service and the owner and others are constantly checking to see if you are pleased. Cons: The salad bar had limited options and the hot food options were also limited and not too attractive. No farofa, which is a Brazilian cassava dish usually served with churrasco. The red meat was good but the chicken and pork were underseasoned and lacked flavor. Real disappointment as I prefer those over red meat. True, not as expensive as high end brazilian steakhouses but for $25/person for dinner I would have expected better. Tip being automatically included is not the best either. Overall, good experience. Hopefully as time passes it will improve so maybe I will try again.

Absolutely Horrible Customer Service! Made a reservation for Father's Day, drove 30 min to get there only to be told they ran out of food and it would over 2 hour wait!! And this was only at 530pm!!! Thank You for ruining Father's Day dinner for us!! Owner was very rude and did not even apologize. She did not care that she was turning people away who made reservations for a nice Father's Day dinner. Never will return!!

Guys / girls, please please please visit! We were there on a Fri night, and only saw 3 other parties from 7pm to 9:30pm. I can't imagine how quiet the place is, given the exceptional quality of the food, the really friendly service, and the fact that the all-you-can-eat costs only $25! Some of the really good dishes were: 1. paella - maybe not "real paella" from Spain, but it was good 2. chicken bechemel - just a little to get your appetite whetted 3. picanha - defnitely my favorite cut of meat. Best done rare with the sliver of fat... mmm.. 4. brisket - maybe a little dry, but texture is good 5. sausage

My family went there this weekend, and we had a great experience. That was my first time ever eating chicken hearts, and they were so good! The Paella was amazing. Even my kids were adventurous enough to try just about everything they brought out. If you like Brazilian dining, this is a very good place to go. I have a close relative who grew up in Brazil, and we can't wait to take her. Staff was very friendly!

DON'T DO IT! If you have a groupon or something and you figured you have nothing better to do, go ahead and visit this place. HOWEVER, if you want to have a nice dinner out with your loved ones.. avoid it. It tries, but it fails at being a Brazilian Steakhouse. They have a "salad bar" with lettuce and oil and vinegar. No croutons, no cheese, no salad toppings. They also never refilled it while I was there. There was only one guy bringing the meat around, so it took forever to get food. After two hours, we left still pretty hungry. The little amount of steak we had, tasted great. So Ill give them that. Still, as an experience, two thumbs down.

I never write reviews, I just read them, however I felt the need to give credit when it's due! Visited Bull Grill today for Father's Day with the family and it was beyond amazing. From the food, the white napkin service, the wine, sangria and best of all the service, far exceeded our expectations especially since we walked in with a Groupon! Bring you're appetite because you'll want to try everything at least 3 times! All dishes and meats served were seasoned to perfection! You will not be disappointed!

The food is very fresh. The staff is very professional. The options for the meat are plentiful. Very family-friendly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It is a very nice restaurant and the owner is on hand to ensure your experience is the best.

My boyfriend and I went here last night for our weekly date night and I could not have been more pleased. This is clearly still a very new establishment (we overheard the owner telling someone 4 months), they still may have a kink or two to work out, but we will definitely be back. I will say though that this is not the place to go if you are in a rush (there was one couple who left before eating because they did not have the time to wait). So plan a couple hours and just relax. The servers were all very attentive (including the owner who was over multiple times to refill our wine glasses and check to make sure we were enjoying our dinner). and the meat selections were excellent. I don't think we tried anything that either of us were disappointed in. It would be nice if there was some way to let the servers know we are kosher, it seemed like almost half of the selections brought to us were pork. I will take responsibility on that point though, we did not speak up either. Overall, a very nice date night and we will be back. We were even given a $10 gift card for a return visit.

Just came back from Brazil trip this week and wanted to take my wife out to a Brazilian Churrascaria. Bull Grill did not disappoint delivering authentic experience just like what I got down in São Paulo. The meat was fantastic and there was a wide selection. I was also surprised by the buffet, with many stews and salad choices. We had tiramisu, which is homemade and also delicious. The staff was highly attentive and friendly. Overall a great dining experience. Highly recommend this place.

I only came here because of a groupon and I'm glad I did. This place is amazing. The food comes non stop and is amazing quality. The chicken and the sausage were my favorite. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Would for sure come here again. I would recommend to anyone looking for this Brazilian style of eating. I'm sure I'll come back but only when I have enough money.

The service was amazing. The servers and I the wait staff couldn't be any more accommodating. The sangria was tasty as was the mojito. Limited alcohol however at the bar. The food was good and definitely worth the price. I really hope they make it as it wasn't as busy as I would've expected on a Friday night but all in all definitely worth coming back.

You can see from the moment you walk in the door that the owner is intimately involved in the business. This new restaurant will succeed. They have servers that care and a price half that of typical BrazilIan steak houses. This was our first visit but not our last

Great alternative to Mainstream Brazilian steakhouses . You will not encounter any wait and the food is equally as delicious . Staff and owner are EXTREMELY friendly and will accommodate . The owner custom cooked my meat to the temperature I asked. Also will give a military discount . Please visit here , you will not regret it.

I highly recommend it! Food is great! Service is wonderful! The gauchos are very nice! Dinner for two with one iced tea for $74 for as much meat as you could possibly eat. They keep bringing more. You leave here in a food comma.

  • Pearce D.

Very disappointing. The meat was overcooked and salty. While the service was friendly and attentive it did not make up for hard yuca and stale cheese breads. Having eaten in many Brazilian steakhouse this was overpriced for the quality.

    (1)
  • Luis F.

First the good... Service was great and attentive. Selections were limited which is a departure from the Brazilian steakhouse concept. Too much of a wait between meats unless, of course, you are into chicken hearts and sausage which come out frequently. Only open a short time so I truly hope they improve!

Best restaurant experience in 10 years at a small independent place in Tampa..Quality of churrassco was superb; salad and hot bar items were fresh and delicious (ceviche and salt cod with grilled onions and peppers were standouts); service was friendly and attentive; the owners were gracious and welcoming. All for less than $20 per person! A find.

  • Gian Luis D.

Fantastic service, superb value, and exceptional food. We were attended to by a courteous wait staff that served our large group very efficiently and with a smile. The meat was succulent and cooked very well with a great selection of sides available; I left extremely satisfied. I would return with my family and friends next time I'm in Tampa in a hearbeat (Chicken hearbeat, that is; this is the first place I've tried a chicken heart and it was delicious!)
