Pretty typical sports bar. The beer selection is ever so slightly better than average. We had the flat bread which was better than I expected given our venue but nothing mind blowing. The service was average. I think your getting the point: basically your average joint. Nothing terrible, nothing spectacular. A-ok.

I wish I could give this a 3.5 because their coverage on sports does not fail you. They have plenty of televisions and projections screens your hearts galore so no matter where you sit you have a good view catching your team and other games. Their tap collection is big plus since they have my two favorite beers, Jai Alai and Stella Artois and both were delicious! Their selection is about 15(?) or so from bud light to goose island beer. Our bartender was professional and courteous as she had our food and drinks out in a minutely manner. I would recommend for their sampler dish as their mozzarella sticks were one of the best as with their chicken tender. They both came out piping hot (which was a plus) since it doesn't feel like it was reheated under a lamp. We did order the quesadilla as well and was not impressed because their chicken felt soggy drenched the tortilla. It used to be on point but they changed it up a bit. Regardless I would recommend this place if you're in the mood for bands, dancing, camaraderie or if you're an Eagles fan. If you're from the local area, you can find this place next door to Sergio's Jewlery from this commercials!

Went there last night to see a very dear friend, my husband orders 3 drinks get charged for 4? We tell the waitress and she states she will talk to the manager which never came to the table to speak to us but sent the waitress back stating he didn't remove the drink? So this is the first time I have ever left a 00.00 tip! If the manager cared enough for the the business he would have came over an addressed this problem. You would loose customers over something that could have been easly resolved. I have been here many times before and there is always some kind of problem with someone's check, food,or service. This will be the our last time! You need to retrain your staff! Starting from management on down.

I met friends here last night after Busch Gardens wine Fest. I like the outside seating although your view is just the parking lot. I would maybe add some twinkly lights and Potted palm trees to create a tropical space. Inside is dark and a bit divey. I did not eat here but I ordered a sangria and for a dive bar it was good. The bartender even added a nice touch by putting a lemon, lime and an orange on the rim. There was a band and they were quite good. Overall we had fun and I would go back.

Met friends to hear a band. Huge space and mainly empty Asked for kettle on rocks with olives and a craft brew for hubby. Waitress didn't know if they carried kettle or craft brews but we found a menu and found an IPA. Vodka came with olives so old and rotten I had to spit out! Fished them all out added ice to my drink from my friends water glass and danced, visited with friends and had a great time listening to a band called Destiny. Had a blast!! Got the bill and they charge $1 for olives! What kinda bar charges for olives in a cocktail??? Don't really think we would go back unless to meet friends and see that band.

A nice sports bar. They have a decent beer selection, a full menu, tons of TVs on the walls, and are very understaffed. They have Big Storm products on tap, which was a big plus in my book. The only food I tried was an ordering wings. They were very good sized, and had good flavor. Our server, Trinity, was very friendly, and as attentive as she could be. This is a very good sized sports bar, and on a Saturday night with NFL playoff games and a popular live band it appeared she was one of two waitresses working. That could be a one off situation for that night, except it seems to be a recurring theme in other reviews as well. We were just having wings as a snack, and drinks. We ended up ordering our next drink 1/2 way through the prior one because of the delay and if we had been ordering food as a meal the delay would have much more aggrivating. I would come back to Buckets, but would have reservations about staying if they are even moderately busy simply due to not having enough staff to actually service their customers.

As a Philly transplant - yay! I had heard from a friend's dad that Buckets was "the Eagles bar" in Tampa. I thought maybe a small handful of regulars visited Buckets each weekend and that the "Eagles bar" thing was an exaggeration made by a Bucs fan. But when I actually checked the place out this past weekend to catch the Eagles vs. Titans game, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the place was packed with folks who bleed green! And so. many. televisions. Even if you weren't there for the Eagles game, you definitely had access to any of the other games on at the same time. The atmosphere for the game was great - if you're an Eagles fan. There were a few fans of other teams around but Philadelphia fans were definitely the majority. Our server was friendly and kept my boyfriend's and my glasses full. The wings I ordered were tasty, and my boyfriend raved about his chicken fingers. On my next visit I might get chicken fingers and request some of the wing sauce for dipping!

I had the Rubin very good and the burger which is top notch and 5 bucks on Mondays so defiantly a great deal and last I tried there garlic med wings which were a failure as the garlic mostly fell off but the wings them self were top notch and only 60 cents on certain days however the best place for garlic medium in Tampa still remains the press box who makes the best garlic wings in Tampa that I found and Tuesday there 50 cents PS I always take off a star for sports bars as I simply not a sports person

I went on a Tuesday night at about 7:30. The bar was mostly empty, except for a big group that was playing board games (yup, that was what I was there for). I didn't try the food, but I saw that they have wings for $0.60/each. Still, it looked like you have to order them in multiples of ten. The beer was pretty good. There was nothing too special on tap, but it wasn't an embarrassingly small selection either. Of the 15 or so brews on tap, I think I had tried them all except one. So I went for that one. (It had "red" in the name.) I thought it was pretty good, and it ran me $4. This is a good place to go for a sporting event. The inside is lined all around with huge TVs.

Well last Saturday night some of tried Buckets for the first time. It is located on Gunn Hwy., heading West right before Henderson, in the shopping plaza. Psrking was a bit tight, but it is a large parking lot. I don't know if they always have a cover charge, but they had a good band that night and it was a $10.00 cover, but that also got you 2 drinks, so I think that is a pretty fair deal. The crowd was all ages, with the majority being over 40, which was fine with me :) Buckets was packed! They had some nice big booths, a large sit at bar and tables on the other side of the large dance floor. This is not a romantic date night spot, but more of a girls, mens or group night out. The music was good, but it and the crowd washout. It's a good place to go if you want to nust hang and get your dance on. I did not have any food, so unfortunately I can't help you there. Would I go again, sure why not. It doesn't seem to be the type of place you'd see brawls, but then again you never know, those can happen anywhere! We had a good time and that's all that matters. What's a girl to do? Sometimes yahoo just want to dance.

Went for an Eagles game - their fan club meets there. Had great service and beer bucket specials. I got the combo platter with mozzarella sticks, potato skins, and chicken fingers. The chicken fingers were AMAZING! I'd definitely go back here to watch a game - tons of TVs & good sports bar atmosphere.

This place has some really good specials daily, we hit them up and were lucky to find they had ladies drink free Thursdays and the girls in our party enjoyed that...a little too much. The food was good for a sports bar they had soooo many TVs it was crazy! Surprisingly their hot garlic wings were spicy comparatively to many other wing joints who tout "spicy" wings. Good service and good casual atmosphere, hope to go back for 60 cent wings.

Random night when my roommates decided to go out for a drink! We decided to check this bar close to our apartment. I was surprise when we walked in the place was huge. And they have special every night. I ordered the spicy garlic wings. The wings were perfect size, juicy and perfect flavor. My only problem was my ranch was empty before I even finish my wings, but it's all good coz the wing itself makes out what's missing! Definitely coming back to try other special. Maybe karaoke night???

Disappointing food and spotty service. Buckets has been open since late September, and they've assembled a crowd of regulars who prop up the bar each night. If you're part of the inner circle, then the servers and manager will visit with you and make sure that you're served quickly. Unfortunately the rest of us take our chances walking in here. Buckets is located on Gunn Highway near the intersection of Casey Road, in the Sweetbay shopping center. The space has been the home of numerous other bar & grills, so these folks have to fight an uphill battle to be successful. The decor is nice with a lot of big-screen TVs projecting all of the major sporting events, and the selection of beer includes Cigar City Brewing beers on tap. I ordered some wings which are supposedly the house special. I found them to be greasy, and the flavor didn't rock my boat. Mehhh, I've had better.

I really wish I lived a lot closer to the "Super Wal-Mart of neighborhood bars" because it's friendly, they have great burger and wing specials (Mondays and Tuesdays respectively) and they offer Crowd Savings deals as well. This could be my new fav place to watch a game because of it's sound system, and tv quality. Could be promising..just hope they can work out their growing pains and get consistent reviews on service, because without that-they're doomed.

I never have a bad time at this bar. Plenty of large screen TVs and the food is never disappointing.

I can barely begin to articulate the horrific events that we just experienced at this place. Let's just say, we spent an hour and a half there and the "night" ended with our group never getting served food and witnessing our waitress screaming/cursing at other customers in response to their frustration with the lack of service. This place will only go down the drain so long as the long haired brunette chick that looks like she is on crack continues working here. Never got to try the wings but $2 Bud Select specials seem nice..if you can talk your waitress into taking your order! I am being a little generous with an extra star due to the amount of TVs present...betting it's awesome during football season and you play fantasy :). However, in the words of my roommate, "this place should be called f*ck it".

Went last night for the 50 cent wing special - not impressed. Ordered 10 wings to be split between two flavors, and after nearly a 30 minute wait they brought 20 of each. I ain't never waited so damn long for wings before in my life. We almost began gnawing on our arms. After my display of dissatisfaction, the waitress came by and said she would credit us for the extra 10, which was nice, but didn't make it any less annoying. We had the jerk flavor and the garlic parm. The garlic parm wings were a little dry and lacking flavor. Dagwood's is still the best place for this flavor. The jerk wings were a dry rub, which I rather enjoyed. The flavor was pretty good too, and if they were bigger, I'd go back just for these. We also ordered some tater tots and a cup of chili. We threw the chili on top of the tater tots for a taste bud victory. Still though, I probably won't return... Ever.

My wife and I tried Buckets since we had a $5 off coupon and we'd never been there before, and they supposedly had 24 beers on tap, etc. Well, it turns out that most of the beers on tap are your typical bud light, amberbock etc. with a few different ones like Stella, Kona, a Cigar City beer that I don't recall, Yuengling and so on, but nothing much in the way of good craft beers.. No stouts on tap, which is our favorite type of beer. The food.. We had some wings with the "hottest" sauce and I do have to say they were pretty decent, with plentiful sauce, and the sauce I do have to say was actually pretty hot, hotter than most "hot" sauces you order at other sports bars. So kudos to Buckets for actually making their wing sauce spicy. My wife and I split the seafood basket and yeah, it is your typical, mediocre frozen fare. My wife said that the fried fish tasted like breaded & fried dust.. The shrimp and clam strips were edible but not too great. As for the service, it was a bit slow but they were apparently understaffed, and it was not our waitress's fault, as she was pretty much running the entire place by herself and did her best. All the same.. not sure if Buckets is usually that understaffed or if it was just a bad night. Maybe other nights are better. Overall, I'd say the beer selection is fairly weak if you are into good craft beers, the food was pretty medicore overall, and they need more waittresses on hand to help speed up the service. I give it 2 stars overall, because the wings were ok and it seems like a good spot to watch sports with lots of big screens. But if I come back, it will probably be just for some wings and a couple of beers, since the seafood was honestly pretty bad. More likely, we'll stick to Tanks Tap Room that is also near where we live.

They opened just a week ago and I stopped in for lunch and had Honey BBQ wings. WIngs were nice and big and sauce was delicious. I was very impressed with the decor of this newly opened place. Large projection screens adorn the walls and they have several big and comfy booths. If I lived closer I would be here every Sunday for NFL games. I will be going back this weekend to try some additional menu items and maybe an adult beverage.

Great bar, been there dozens of times, have never had an issue, wings are awesome and decent size, the burgers are awesome as well... that's all I've had there. Haven't had a problem with service except once last football season when they were ridiculously packed and the bartender was also serving the outer tables but that was like 3-4 months after they opened. overall I'd definitely recommend this place! P.S. the triple play wings are an off-the-menu flavor, my favorite wings! wing sauce, old bay seasoning, and garlic parmesan. Supposedly they won't offer it anymore but I've gotten it a couple of times recently

Absolutely hate this place. We have been here 3 times. The first time it took the bartender more than 5 minutes to welcome us even though the bar was practically empty. The second time a different bartender did a great job, but some loud mouth "manager" was running around cussing and talking loudly with her friends. The third time (less than an hour ago) we walked out because the bartender thought it more important to talk with her fellow employees than serve us. I have rarely seen such terrible service.

I went to Tavern's on Monday for there night special $5 burger and French fries. Bucket's was not too crowded, of course that was the reason why I chose to go on a Monday. The half pound burger and fries was not too bad for the price. The family atmosphere was not too bad either. They have plenty of big screen TV's to watch sporting games. The reason why I gave it three stars is because the service was not super great but it was not poor either.

Went to Buckets on the back of the 4 meals and 4 beers for $22 deal Groupon that was posted on Sunday. First off I'll list the good since most people don't read the entire review anyway! The projection screens are huge and you can watch sporting events from anywhere in the place. The images are clean and clear as well which is nice. GREAT JOB on installing them. The place is very large, much bigger than I had expected and it shouldn't be elbow to elbow even on busy nights or afternoons. Food: The food was your basic bar and grill fare as far as options go. My parents who tagged along as we needed four people to complete the groupon deal, enjoyed their Cheddar Burger (mother) and Shrimp Basket (father). They really piled on a ton of shrimp in the basket and the tails were already off which he enjoyed. I tried a few of them and they tasted like what you'd expect a fried shrimp to taste like. Speaking of the cheddar burger, which both my mother and i had, it was a healthy sized half pound patty that was nicely seasoned and very juicy. I was worried that the "cheddar" burger would actually just have a piece of american cheese on it but it did indeed actually have a piece of cheddar that you could taste the sharpness in. Very well done on your burger sir. My fiancee had the philly steak. Yes, I realize it's nearly impossible to replicate the philly you get up in PA but this wasn't offensive and was better than some of the other places you can get one. Nice size. You could also tell the fries were cooked in fresh oil. BEER: Nice selection of beers on tap. My gripe here is that there's no list offhand to look at, so unless you want to make your waitress recite the list over and over each time you consider a new beer, you're gonna have to get up and head to the bar to see what's on tap. As the groupon was for draft beers I didn't ask if they had a bottle selection or not so I can't speak on that end. They do have Jai Alai, Dogfish head, and Magic Hat on tap plus all the regular stuff and I'm sure a few others. SERVICE: The service kinda ebbed and flowed. There's no sign that says to seat yourself so we stood at the entrance for a few minutes and nobody acknowledged us so we went and grabbed a booth. We sat there for another 15 minutes before anyone stopped by to take our drink orders. Once that was done the service was very efficient (perhaps they just hadn't noticed us?) until the end of the meal. A gentleman, who I assume might be the owner, stopped by to ask us how everything was which is always a nice touch to see concern for a budding business. It did take awhile for us to get our bill though at the end, so like I said, the service kinda ebbed and flowed throughout the evening. FINAL THOUGHTS: All in all, we'll go back there as I'd like to try their wings as well and perhaps something else on the menu just to get a better feel for the food. I think they could make some refinements on the menu (such as listing the available toppings for burgers) and include some sort of beer list, even if it's only posted on a giant chalk board somewhere (if they have rotating taps). Prices were average and the beer was very cold and that was a good thing. I can't stress enough how nicely the viewing lines and screens are for viewing sports.
