Not at all bad for a chain, with more of a family cooking feel to it. The menu features good entrees and sides like turkey, stuffing, mashed taters...and not just fast food items like burgers & fries. Prices are reasonable for solid foods. You could probably fake serving meals from here as home-made, but best to move from plastic to-go containers and hide the bags.

Great service and great food. I was given a free meal for being a frequent customer! The staff is very friendly! The new thing, of the staff bringing your food out to you really makes it feel more like a restaurant instead of something semi-quick. I highly recommend if you want something a little healthier than fast food.

I don't want to be to "agreeable" but I have gone to this location many times. I usually find the general staff to be on the slow side but the mangers to be amazing at personally making things go. I will add though I have seen the general staff bring food out to me and be awesome so I don't mean to be too strong. I would just say the mangers have stood out to me. The food's always been tasty. A chain, I know but if you read my reviews I will be enjoying and reviewing Five Stars to Whole in the Walls (and chains...) Anyway, if I am in the MLK/Armenia area this is an option.

Located near a busy intersection, this can be a tricky spot to get in to - and an even trickier spot to find parking. There are a few spots in the front of the store, or you can brave the torn up parking area behind the store. Typical Boston Market in that you go up to the counter and they walk you down their food case while you pick out what you want. I decided to try the new-to-me Mediterranean chicken carver sandwich. After placing my order and being told it would be brought out to me, I found a table. Most of the tables I could see were cleared of plates, yet had obviously never been wiped off. Even while I watched, an employee cleared a table but didn't bother to wipe it down. I waited, and waited, and waited, and finally went up to the front to inquire about my sandwich. "Oh, he got busy". Um.. okay. The sandwich, when it finally arrived, was meh. The roll was completely saturated in their yellow "Mediterranean dressing" (no idea what it really was) that I tried to scrape off. The sandwich was overflowing with enormous chunks of red onions. It also contained lettuce, tomato, feta cheese, and two slim slices of chicken. Between the onions and nasty dressing, though, no other flavor could be discerned. My overall impression of the store is general dirtiness. Side dishes were the best part of the meal, and even those didn't have much flavor. There are plenty of food options along MLK, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Eh was okay but looks like your average cafeteria food. The food wasn't bad but it's not all it's cracked up to be. The ribs were dry and the corn isn't sweet. I think they have it down though for rotisserie chicken.

I'm a fan of this chain. I'll admit it-some people say it's good for you others say it's bad... All I know is I like the food they serve. I haven't been to this location in a few year because of where it's located but I wanted chicken. This branch is located in a difficult intersection where you have to bust a U or turn into a plaza and then into the other parking lot. They have a friendly staff and they are constantly making new sides so I knew mine was fresh. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Val made a suggestion and I got the half chicken meal with creamed spinach and Mac&cheese. The food amount they provided me with can easily feed a couple. The cashier asked if I wanted to donate a $1 to a charity and I did and they gave me a coupon leaflet and the manager offered me a cookie! It was very clean and the minute I opened the door they were already greeting me. When I was leaving they all asked me to come back! I like that they were being attentive!

The manager, not the food, was the highlight of my visit, unfortunately for me. The manager greeted us, a group of eight, at the door, and was helpful and friendly the whole time. The food spoiled the experience for me: I had their Quarter White with a quarter piece chicken, corn, squash casserole, and corn bread. The service staff did not give me a choice between wing and leg, and for over $8, I expected a better value. Corn bread was barely warm and hard around the edges, but chicken was hot and juicy. Here's my main beef: I expected more, judging by all the love from my colleagues and the name recognition, but when all was said and done, I left with a 'this is it??' kind of impression. Nice ambience and clean shop, I just wish they had proven me wrong in thinking it must be "just another chain restaurant." I would not consider going back.
