Ok but not great. It was clean and we got a balcony room. It overlooked a roof with rocks on it but we didn't care. We were only sleeping one night here and just wanted a clean bed. Yes this place has seen better days. Cracks in tiles and walls, paint coming off several areas, and it badly needs a new paint job. But it was clean and the bed comfy. That is all we wanted and got it. The room was huge with two separate rooms, fridge, microwave, 2 tvs and a clean bathroom. The staff was nice and helpful when I needed directions. They have a 24 hour free coffee area by the vending machines but the gym area is super small and has very outdated items. Again I'm fine with it because it was clean and I didn't expect too much for what I paid. It was 5 minutes from Busch Gardens and has free parking and a free breakfast. I would stay here again if in the area but do not expect frills.

This hotel really needs a refurb. Just smells old! The lobby smells like an ash tray and the rooms are musty. The good point is that you're right around the corner from Busch Gardens and their shuttle service was excellent! Their driver was awesome! At most, we waited 10 minutes either coming or going. And this was at night for Howl-O-Scream. The room was old. The sofa bed wasn't even good to sit on as a sofa. And it smelled bad. The beds were ok, but the duvets had no covers. They used sheets to look like duvet covers. And the bed skirts were completely wrinkled. There just isn't much care. The AC in our room was set to 70 degrees when we came in. Which was fine when we got there because it was hot. In the middle of the night I was cold and got up to change it. Guess what. You couldn't adjust it. The controls no longer worked. Also, the toilet would run if you didn't jiggle the handle. I don't think I would come back unless I wanted something close to the park again.

Location is great and the standard room is very spacious. There's a separate bedroom and living room area with its own TV. Personal fridge and microwave in room. Looks clean enough. There's a large vanity area outside the bathroom for getting ready and every room has its own patio or balcony. There is definitely an old smell to it but it's not unbearable. I would recommend this place if you're just looking for a place to sleep to explore Tampa. Free parking and Continental breakfast. The TV Guide they give you is incorrect. Biggest issue for me is the painfully slow wireless internet that makes it difficult to get any work done. There is also a $50 refundable deposit at checkin and they charge you $1.60 for the safe that's in the room, which I thought was laughable.

Friendly & fast customer service. The rooms were a little disappointing though. I hate carpets & it just felt so dirty. The room when I walked in smelled and felt moldy and muggy. The a/c felt like it wasent cold enough. Is really close to Busch Gardens & Adventure Island (less then a mile away). Which is y I chose this hotel. I did like the fact that there was a living room area separated from the bedroom. The beds I found comfortable. I didn't like the sink outside the bathroom though.

My family and I checked in at approximately 10 p.m. We were tired and ready for bed but the pullout did not have any sheets or blankets anywhere in the room. The manager on duty was there alone so we felt obligated to go down to the lobby to get the blankets ourselves. Also grabbed towels since there were only 2 towels for a room that sleeps 6. The picture on the TV in the one room was fuzzy so you couldnt watch it. In order to get the shower to work you had to manually lift up on the pull and hold it the entire time you bathed. I went to grab a tissue and the whole holder came out of the wall. Then woke up to a baby roach crawling on the covers. The cafeteria ladies were sweet but apparently the kitchen ran out of regular syrup. The hotel is old and dingy. The rooms are even worse. If I am ever forced to stay at this hotel again I would definitely sleep in the shower...it looked recently remodeled.

The rooms are decent. Housekeeping is kind of bad, they didn't take our trash in 4 days. Wifi is piss poor. The pool was pretty good. The free breakfast didn't even include scrambled eggs, which I think is the staple of free breakfast right? The tvs in the rooms are okay.

My husband and I stayed over the weekend while visiting Busch Gardens and I have to say we loved our stay. Staff was extremely helpful, sweet, and attentive. Free breakfast, free shuttle to the parks, and the rooms are very clean and comfy. For the price I cannot complain at all! We even stayed one more night ;) the only thing that was upsetting was that the bar was under construction... Seems like they had great happy hour specials! Either way I know where we are staying next time we are in the area

I had a king suite. Room was spacious. The first night there were kids in the pool right up to the 10pm closing, screaming their heads off. The pool is in the courtyard area, so the sound echoes throughout. The shooter had NO pressure, and I had to battle constantly to keep the water warm. My neighbor in the next room had same complaint. Hotel was right next to yuengling, busch gardens and USF. Breakfast was weak, waffle, cereal, toast.

My husband and I stayed here this past September and I was more disappointed then satisfied.. The location is amazing it's right around the corner from Busch Gardens and that was our only reason to visit Tampa BUT being that the park closes at 6pm you would like to be comfortable in staying at the hotel that you spent the same amount of time in if you are not enjoying the night life. We checked in and while checking in another woman came up to the front desk saying that the room she just got checked into was "trashed!" And the receptionists response was, "oh I'm sorry but that is the last king sized room we have available, would you like to be accommodated to two twin sized bed?" So walking to my room I was prepared already for the worst but thankfully my room was not trashed from party goers prior.. The carpet was full of stains all throughout.. The cable did not match the cable listing television channels guide and the shower had NO HOT WATER! Luke warm, if that! My husband and I were glad we were only staying there for 2 nights because we were dying to take a hot shower! The continental breakfast; the cereal was very stale and the waffle maker you can't even make your own set of waffles they have a woman who works there doing it for you! The bed was comfy and as we were leaving the last day there was a huge stink beetle on the curtain! The ones you can't kill because they release a disturbing smell! I just ran out and couldn't wait to leave to Orlando. It is cheap but you do not get what you pay for because the hotel in Orlando that we booked for the same price was amazing! If you can afford to stay elsewhere, please do. I won't be staying here again :(

The only two things that I was ok with during my stay here is that my bed was comfy and the breakfast cafe has a decent selection. Other than that I was not happy with my stay here. The wifi was almost non existence. Housekeeping was spotty. Most of the light fixtures didn't work. Also the clothes dryer will rip you off to dry your clothes, might as well lay your clothes out in your room to dry, takes about the same amount of time.

Hotel is decent for the price. Three nights were about $170. The bed is very comfortable. However the couch smells like feet. But that was ok because we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel room. We only needed it to sleep and shower. The bathroom was clean which is good. What is weird is the there is no sink in the bathroom. The sink is outside in the bedroom area. There are pros and cons to that. Pros: while I was showering my boyfriend can use the sink to shave and brush. Also the hairdryer is out by the sink. Which is good because while my boyfriend was showering, I can blow dry my hair and use the sink. The cons: after you use the bathroom, you have to go wash ur hands out in the bedroom. Which is kinda gross because you have to touch the doorknob first. But other than the minor stuff the hotel is not bad for the price. It's about 30 mins from the airport and Busch garden. I might not stay there again but it's really is not a bad hotel. I just want to try a different hotel next time in the area. Oh two more things: ask for the third floor because there are a lot of kids by the pool and play area which can't get really loud. Also the wifi does not work most of the time.

I can think of better places to stay close to Bush Gardens than here. Like my truck! Poor check in, badly cleaned room, and missing shower controls. My truck generates hotter water at idle in mid Jan than the shower did. You want hot water? Use the paltry coffee make. Room HVAC only worked if fan left in on mode. If you don't system overheats and shuts down. I mean when your in house Bar is empty on a Friday night.....you have problems. Shower controls were missing parts. Rugs were Dirty, room had a weird smell to it. Wi-Fi worked only if you stood in the door of your room if lucky enough to be near Lobby. Slow when connected. I just used my hotspot.
