Delicious Italian food, served in large portions! The house salad dressing on a mixed salad is a great start. The bread is hot and fresh. I had the chicken fettuccine and my guest had the ziti with meat sauce. Both were served perfectly! Hot and delicious. I can't say enough good things about the food and the service.

ABC Pizza is consistently good. I rarely eat in, but the few times I have, the servers are polite, the restaurant is relatively clean, and food comes out in a fairly timely manner. It's usually pretty loud in there, and the booths all seem to have a few lumps in the seats, but it just seems like it's exactly what a neighborhood pizza joint is supposed to be. I usually end up getting to-go food, because I can order it on the way home from work, and it is ready when I get there. I always get their version of the Greek salad. I'm pretty sure it's Greek because they put feta cheese on it, otherwise it seems like a regular house salad with slices of ham and feta cheese, but what do I know? It is always fresh, and huge, and you can get it with or without potato salad. I highly recommend 'with' because the potato salad is delicious. Not fancy, but good people and good food.

Even though another ABC Pizza is closer to my home, we drive to this one because the food is consistently excellent. HUGE Greek salad. Amazing spaghetti. And I think their sangria is addictive - quite possibly the best in town.

Lunch Feb 26 As much as I have loved this place over the years, unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

Pizza is outstanding. The best in the area. Other food items are decent, but I only go for the pizza.

ABC Pizza is an affordable pizza/pasta option with multiple locations in Tampa. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of their food or the cleanliness of the dining area. They do have specials throughout the week including a $4.99 pasta night which is a good value (recently up from a $2.99 special.) During our last visit there was mold growing from the air vent over the table next to us. They had specials on the TV advertising game specials on beer and pizza and when we asked about it we found out it was only for football season which ended several months ago. The gyro was lacking all around and didn't even have lettuce on it. Service is ok but nothing to brag about.

Absolutely the best place for Greek salad and pizza! The cheese blend they use must be primarily fresh mozzarella because it's so stringy and delicious and they LOAD it on! The bread they use is insanely soft and fresh, these pizzas are great to take home too and eat the next day because they are very fresh!

Best pizza in seminole heights! During the week they have a great special 2 large 2 toppings for $11 !!! Wow !!! Pizza is def the best hubs and I have had anywhere near seminole heights. They do a weekday lunch buffet for $7.99 that's good as well. I pretty much stick to the pizza but my husband lives their grinders. The eggplant is his favorite. Only dislike would be that the restaraunt is dark and outdated so I get the pizza to go. Def worth you giving it a chance. My favorite is the Hawaiian!

Finally checked out ABC after driving by quite a bit. The parking lot was packed on a Friday night. I was surprised by how much seating they have, and liked that most of the options are booths. Many families were inside chowing down on the inexpensive food. We started with a pepperoni pizza as an appetizer (yeah, we're fat) just so everyone could get a slice and experience the restaurant's namesake offering. The pizza is good, although have others have commented it's not your typical New York style but rather "Greek style" which from what I can tell means a puffy crust and tons of cheese. For dinner, everyone in my group went with an entree. I was tickled when reading the menu because it says all entrees come with MELTED CHEESE, salad (which never arrived), and garlic bread. We anxiously waited to see if we'd each be presented with a side dish of melted cheese. When our food came out, we quickly realized what they meant -- each dish was cloaked in a thick blanket of cheese, making one dish indistinguishable from the next. I'm not complaining since cheese is like oxygen to me, but if you're lactose intolerant you best not be ordering one of these dishes. My chicken parm was served over spaghetti. It was satisfying and I ended up taking about 3/4 of it home. I tried my friend's eggplant rollatini which was also quite tasty. The garlic bread was not worth eating (but I did anyway, because... carbs.) The decor in this place is incredibly random and unintentionally kitschy. Table placemats are covered in ads, which included ads for a bail bondsman, pawn shop and critter removal (which really gets your appetite working). There are framed posters throughout the restaurant which range from a knock off of the Last Supper (seriously, it wasn't even a print of the real thing just a completely different rendition with JC sitting on his own side of the table -- most likely eating Greek pizza but I didn't look close enough), a 300 movie poster, a map of the world, St Pete sunset, and many more. My motivation for coming back will most likely be to better inspect the entire poster collection. It was totally bizarre and wonderful. Also weird is that you're given a "check" which is really just a take out menu with everything you ordered circled on it, and you're not given the total. I guess since it's so cheap no one minds this oversight. But, alas, ABC gets 3 stars since I left full and with leftovers, I had a good laugh, and I didn't spend much money.

Pretty good pizza. A little bit thicker crust than the rest of the pizza places in Tampa but still pretty average. I got a medium pizza and found out after I ordered that there was a special where I could've gotten a large for $2 more. But our server failed to mention that, which is pretty lame. Not a big selection of draft beer, but they do have Modelo on tap, so I had that going for me, which is nice. They have a smallish arcade for the kids but nothing spectacular. Just your normal, everyday pizza pub type of place. I'll be back - if I'm in the area and starving. And I'll remember the special this time.

ABC Pizza House is a great example of a 3 star restaurant. Food is OK. Service is OK. Atmosphere is...well, I'll get to that in a minute. A very casual Italian/pizza restaurant- this place was busy on a Saturday night. We were sat quickly and started gazing over the menu. We got a pepperoni pizza as an appetizer- and then we all got entrees- I had eggplant rollatini and my friends had: chicken parm, seafood alfredo, and lasagna. All of the entrees came out looking the exact same- COVERED with cheese. No complaints here!! We also ordered a carafe of wine- only $8- score! But, be forewarned it's more like a 1/2 carafe size. And they also give you the teeniest little wine glasses. Now onto the atmosphere-. I feel as though they gathered all their employees and said "hey- our walls are kind of bare- could you each bring in a poster you have from home?" ...And that's how they decorated. Also, I should note that there were "placemats" with bail bonds and pawn shop advertisements on them. So classy- and was of much amusement to our table. The eggplant rollatini I had was quite good- but it seemed to be the only Gluten Free thing on the menu. A place like this- with a menu full of pizza and pasta- is torturous for those of us who are GF. If I don't return- that's the only reason- I have little willpower. But, overall- an enjoyable, cheap night out.

I've been to this place several times and each time I've had a terrific experience. The past couple of times I've been here, I've had a large group of people and they are really accommodated us well. The food...cheap cheap cheap. We had wine, beer, pizza, salad and it was very reasonably priced. They have TVs everywhere, for the sports fans and the staff is really nice.

On Monday nights what a steal, uhmmm I mean deal. ALL YOU CAN EAT! Pizza, pasta, wings, homemade soup, salad bar, garlic bread, dessert pizzas, puddings and some of the best Greek food you have ever tasted. The Greek dishes change weekly, but some examples are stuffed grape leaves, eggplant something, musaka, ... and the list goes on, Even with the pizza wars the all you can eat is incredible. Don"t quote me on this, not sure of exact price, but I want to say $7.99( or $8.99 for adults). They have a Greek white pizza that is so yummy. Dessert pizzas are good. If you don't see your favorite pizza come out, ask the waitress and they may bring out your fave. ABC is bigger inside than it appears from the front. I was not pleased with their wines, they are almost offensive and I am not a wine snob. The staff has been their for a long time and are very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. They have other nights with all you can eat spaghetti. The interior is clean and nothing special, but quaint and they have tvs. I have been here several times, they used to only have the buffet at lunch Monday-Friday and then added this Monday night gem. Not the perfect pizza, but darn good and considering the price, at times that makes it taste a bit better. Add on the Greek food and what a delicious feast. Make sure you come hungry, and take your time, they don't mind how long you stay and graze. Decisions, What is a girl to do?

Stopped by this place for a quick bite to eat after a late event. They weren't too busy for a Saturday night, which was refreshing since we had 7 of us in our party. Our waitress did greet us pretty timely, but I have a feeling that she may not have understood us throughout our meal as there was a lot of confusion upon placing our orders and some of the items came out incomplete or wrong. We started with the garlic bread, wings, and Greek salad. The salad was a great way to fulfill those instant hunger pains and was quite tasty. The wings were meh...I wish now that we hadn't wasted our money on these soggy pieces of meat. We ordered pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom pies for the table and they were quite tasty. One of our pizza's was supposed to be served sans mushrooms, but it showed up with them anyway. This posed a problem as we had a member of our party highly allergic to them. They offered to make another pizza, but it put a damper on all of us eating together as he had to wait for the other pizza to come out. The check was a bit confusing as well as it was all tallied up on the order form and wasn't clear. We had to check with the cashier for clarification. Overall a great place for pizza and salad, but stay away from some of the other menu items.

Their pizza crust is a little on the large side for me, I am more of a thinner crust fan. Gyros are great, but the chicken gyros take the top honors. I had the meat lovers pizza it was so worth it. A great atmosphere is the only thing missing.

Great pizza for a great price. Thick crust and fresh toppings this is a great place to order togo pizza. Inside isn't to fancy just some booths and a small kid arcade. There is an awesome fish tank when you first walk in that is my favorite part. I order from this location probably 2-3 times a month and they are always fast and delicious.

Mehhh...I toyed between giving this establishment two or three stars...I'll be nice and do three, only because I did highly enjoy my carafe of wine and the garlic bread. I visited ABC Pizza with a group of friends looking to enjoy some pizza, drinks and finish watching a football game. The server was able to seat us near a TV which we appreciated. The restaurant itself is nice, however it has an odd chemical smell once you walk in....hopefully this means it's just really clean?? Anyways, we were given menus to look over and put in our orders. We started with an appetizer of garlic bread and marinara. It was delicious and hit the spot, but I guess it's pretty hard to mess up garlic bread. We then all split the greek salad which is huge and came with potato salad on the side, yum! We all really enjoyed the salad. But this is where the food went downhill fast. Our group also ordered two large pizzas to split along with wings, and my husband ordered a gyro. First off, one of the pizza orders came out incorrect, but they did put in an order for a new small pizza to correct the mistake. As for the pizza itself...maybe I am just not a fan of greek style pizza because I thought it was....awful. And I am a pizza lover, so this was pretty disappointing. I did not try the wings, but my friends who did were not big fans. As for my husband's gyro...he had one bite and that was it. Not a fan, and the tzatziki sauce tasted more like mayo than anything. Womp womp. I wouldn't be excited if I had to eat at ABC pizza again. If I'm going to splurge on my calories, I want it to be delicious, quality pizza. BUT, the garlic bread, greek salad and wine are good. Go with that!

This is my absolute favorite pizza ever; they put lot's of high quality delicious cheese on it and the crust is crispy and the most delicious I have ever had! Next is the greek salad dressing which is nothing short of amazing not to mention that the prices are reasonable!

Hmmm.... After moving furniture in the hot sun for several hours, I would've been willing to eat almost anything. So when we passed by ABC Pizza, and someone in the car recalled eating at the restaurant many moons ago and being satisfied we quickly turned the car around to stop. Mistake? Yeah, pretty much. We ordered at the to go counter and while the woman working behind the counter was courteous, she seemed a bit distracted and in a great rush for us to order (despite the almost empty restaurant). I ordered the $5.99 lunch special pizza, and was given a thin (clearly pre-frozen) crust with a mess of cheese all over the place and not much else. While everyone else made the smart choice of ordering greek salads and appeared to be satisfied with their meals, I am still less than thrilled to try ABC Pizza again...

It's not too shabby, coming from Chicago where we had Pizza of all types and traditions available to me. I won't say it's super special, becuase it's not, it's ok...Here is what was done right: 1.Seat yourself...it's simple, but I like this feature, and like Coty, I like the all booth no table seating 2. Prompt courteous service, I'm a sucker for great service, something you don't find that often in Florida 3. Clean 4. Cheap-2 large pizzas with 2 toppings for 17.99, can't beat that!

I have not been to this restaurant in years, but back when my step father and I used to visit this place, the food was pretty good and the service was on par as well. The price was not too expensive either, worth eating at if you are in the area.

Well, when I think about pizza, I quickly think about ABC. It's funny 'cause most of people would think about Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc. I don't. ABC has a friendly enviroment, GREAT PIZZAS where you can build your own ( and I like that) and they are very CHEAP. Man, I always have the extracheese-bacon-pineapple-ham-blackolives large pizza wich serves 3 very good and I only pay 12 bucks! Unfortunately, Adriano, the brazilian cooker who used to make the "sicilianas" is not there anymore. The only think I don't like is that they close too early on the weekends. I am usually driving around midnight and if I want to eat pizza I must forget about ABC. OVERALL, I like the place very much.

My husband and I have live in Tampa for over six years and we have been waiting to find pizza this good. I knew before I started chewing that we had found it. We just moved down the street from ABC. We decided to try it when we were moving since it was so close. We went back again 2 days later for take out. In the last week we have live in the area we have actually had to restrain ourselves from going a 3rd time in one week. Another added bonus is it is very responsibly priced. Can't wait to go again!!

After driving past ABC Pizza House on the way home for 2 years, we decided to give it a whirl on a Sunday evening with some friends. This place is so cute! It definitely is a throw back and appears to still be a family owned establishment. Being that it was Sunday and the night before the healthy eating was to begin again, we decided to binge and ordered a Large Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza, Jalapeno Poppers, Wings, Garlic Bread, and a Greek Salad with Potato Salad. Don't judge, I admitted that we were binging. The food: Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza: Legit. All that needs to be said. No wonder they are called ABC PIZZA House. Jalapeno Poppers: Not very good. Seemed to be frozen. Wings: Soggy, but I'm a sucker for wings so I gobbled them down anyway. Garlic Bread: It was pretty darn good! Greek Salad: O. M. G. Food heaven. I will dream about this salad. Over all, a good, quick, and inexpensive dinner. I gotta bring my parents to this place next time they are in town. They love family owned pizza joints and will definitely get a kick out of ABC!

Ok at first I was not a big fan of this place at all. That is because I was eating their pizza. I love the greek salad here and I'm also a big fan of their chicken alfredo! This place has been here forever. Prices are good.

We love their Mediterranean Pizza. The greek salad is really good too. Their prices are very affordable. The restaurant is family oriented and it's always busy. The service is good and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is casual. We usually come here every Sunday after church. Even thought the place is always packed we always get our food fast. I highly recommend this restaurant for the pizza lovers.

This place reminds me of my childhood... Walk inside and the nostalgia hits you across the face. It took me back to the neighborhood pizza place that I always went to as a child. The Greek salad is gigantic and pretty good. the pizza is not bad at all either. It was nice to dine in and feel like a kid again.

A very solid A-OK. This is a minor-league regional pizza chain...not quite like Pizza Hut, Domino's, Uncle John's etc. but no doubt similarly predictable from location to location. Has more of a rustic "Mom & Pop" look with signs of Greek origins. Great -looking Greek Salads, and a Mediterranean Special pizza with feta, greek peppers, kalamata olives etc. Very reasonable prices with daily specials and minimal gimmicks. (e.g. cheese stuffed bread sticks & toothpicks). In addition to pizzas, there are a number of low-price pasta and chicken dishes, and several eggplant offerings....thereby winning my wife's instant allegiance. Lot's of take out but plenty of semi-private booths for eating in. Our take-out wait at 11:30 was less than 15 minutes when most business was delivery. Nice to have beer and wine available, could live without the throw-back video games area. Definitely good enough for a repeat and would come here before most of the glitzier, better-flogged pizza pushers.

I live near abc and it's one of our favorite spots for pizza! We always look out for the Groupon (11$ for 20$) that comes up pretty often and it's great. We get a large pizza and a Greek salad and it's plenty for 4 hungry guys! Tuesday nights are the best specials!

Someone told me about the ABC Pizza House while in downtown Tampa. I thought it was funny because I live within walking distance of this place. I went this past Sunday and really wasn't expecting much when they told me the Sunday special was 7.95 for 1 Large one topping and a 2 litter of my choice of softdrink. We ordered the sausage. I was VERY pleased when we got the pizza. I could have just got cheese because the cheese was so yummy. They also offer a buffet during the week and on Thurday nights.

Just like many of the other reviewers here, I am giving this place three stars. There is definitely a chemical smell upon entering, which I am hoping is the cleaning solution from since they are so clean. Right? You seat yourself in one of the many booths since there are no tables. I personally love booths and the more private setting that they give the customer to talk amongst friends and family. There are mostly families here with their children and regulars. The waitress was very quick to serve us, and the food came out quickly. This is gas oven Greek style pizza, which I have never heard of until I moved to the Tampa area. The crust is about 3/8" thick and puffy. They were having a special when we were there for a large one topping pizza for $9.00, which was a steal for a dine-in place in the area. The pizza chef not only made the pizza quickly, but this person is a perfectionist because the cheese and sauce was distributed evenly and right up to the crust with no bubbles. They do not skimp on the cheese. I have been eating the leftovers and the pizza actually tastes better cold that when it was first served. I actually gave it a crave rating because of this. The only thing that would make the pizza perfect for what it was; garlic butter brushed on the crust. ABC has 12 locations in the area, and I can see why they have done so well with families coming in once a week over generations. There is an arcade/game room in the back, low prices, friendly staff, and with the great seating layout the adults can spend time hanging out too. If I had children and lived in the area, I would probably be here once a week as well.

Full Disclosure: my review of this place may be biased by it's position as the last stop on our pizza tour. I was stuffed. That said, I've eaten enough pizza to presume that I can level an objective quality assessment. My assessment is this: it's a'ight. Like Coty S., Greek pizza is a new phenomena for me. I suppose they're close to italy, but they're far as hell from Brooklyn, and the style is definitely distinct. I'll dip briefly into subjectivity to say that I like NY Style better. Cheese and sauce were on par, maybe a little too much sugar in the sauce and a half a pinch too much salt on the cheese, but overall inoffensive. The crust was a puffy affair, reminiscent of pillowy pita bread (which is appropriate, I guess). When I was little, I visited my grandma in the old folks home. The visits were generally traumatic - full of howling forgotten souls, slipping into senility and raging at the indifference of the blank faced attendants. The smell of the old people that passed by - cleaned with industrial neutrality by their burly nurses, was the same smell that confronted me when I walked into the restaurant. If it was a perfume, it'd be called 'Concrete Corridor,' or 'Institutionally Clean,' or 'Eau de sterile,' with an accent on the last e in sterile. I hated it. From the outside, this place looks like a stereotypical midwestern chinese restaurant. The video games in the game room were weak, but I'm a grown ass man, so I probably shouldn't comment on those things. Final averaged group scores (out of 5): Sauce: 3.25 Crust: 3 Cheese: 3.25 Seating: 3.75 Ambiance: 2.5 Service: 3.5 Cleanliness: 3

So sorry to have to do this, but this gyro was the worst I have EVER had. The gyro sandwich was a combination of onion, warm tomato, lamb and SOUR CREAM!!! Seriously, no tzatziki sauce or lettuce?! They honestly thought I couldn't tell the difference between sour cream and true tzatziki sauce?! Wow. All I can say is that I will NOT be returning.

This place is located on Hillsborough Ave on the south side of the road on the east side of the N Rome Intersection. There was plenty of parking spaces in the back and around the side. We stopped in here Monday night for a small meeting of a group of friends. They gave us a set of tables together in the back and although we showed up at different times over the next 20 minutes, they didn't seem put out about it. The cuisine is Italian/American/Greek. A number of our friends had the pizzas and commented that they were good. I had the large Greek Salad (without potato salad) and a side of meatballs with cheese. I finished the meatballs but was not able to finish the Greek Salad and had the remainders for lunch the next day. The Greek dressing was on the side and that was pretty darn good. In fact, one of the other people in our group asked if she could buy the salad dressing at the counter, which she was able to. The meatballs was tender and about right for the price. My wife had the small greek salad with the same dressing and loved it. Throughout the whole time, I didn't hear any complaints from our group, which numbered 9 people. The staff who took care of us were friendly and obviously had been there a number of years. This is your typical pizza/variety of food restaurant that has endured a number of years. The walls, booths, tables, and variety of people are the same as they were 10 years ago. I imagine that they have their number of regulars that come back to the place because it feels like home. I will definitely come back now that I know its there and enjoy the hospitality.
