I truly don't get any of the bad reviews here. That is our second time and the sushi is simply AMAZING!!! Delicious!!

Poor presentation of the food. Volcano roll looked like someone chewed up the topping and spit it out on top of the roll. The soft shell crab roll taste good but looked terrible. Also had teriyaki chicken, tasted like baby food and was not prepared fresh. It was pre-grilled Sam's Club chicken cutlets completely drowned in cheap teriyaki sauce. No flavor at all. Also had JB and Spicy Tuna Rolls, both were good. Side salads were fresh. Inside looks more like a takeout place. Pretty much deserted at 7:00 PM. Should have known better. Stayed because of the typical South Florida "good Yelp reviews" from people with bad taste in food. If you like the food here please give McDonalds a 5 Star good review. Not going back.

I'm trying hard to like this place, it's not that my sushi was putrid, it wasn't, it was adequate. I ordered the Fantasy Roll, and I figured out what the fantasy is, it's believing it's gonna look like the picture on the menu, kinda like on line dating. The roll looked nothing like the beautiful picture. It was also devoid of any flavor, I liken it to eating paper, so I buried it with wasabi, soy, ginger, and anything to pep it up. My friend had the fried shrimp roll, it wasn't even tempura shrimp, just fried shrimp, and it was over cooked and underwhelming. I hate to say that everything was just so so, because the staff make you feel so special. Shame, I'm sure they have there superstar specials, I just didn't get a hold of one!

Worst place. The food is so so, but the service is terrible. They are very rude and not friendly at all. Wont go here again. Very bad service.

Been going to Sushi Tom for many years and it's always good. The service is hit or miss but for the most part I've never had a problem with it. The sushi is always good and it's never really too crowded so it's nice and quiet.

This is a no go for me! Stopped by for a quick lunch while my bike was getting fixed. Read some signs in the front door that posted some great reviews. The menu was extensive and promising. Decided to try some rolls. Salad and soup was OK. Rolls tasted as if they where made yesterday. Had an Eel Roll and they prepared the Eel in such a way that it tasted like fried Sardines. The place looks as if it had it's prime, but now it looks abandoned. Unpainted wall going up the stairs. Patrons are so so. Not unfriendly but not friendly either. Typical signs of someone who is about to go out of business. Someone please rescues this place! Maybe its time to use the good reputation to give it a facelift! Good luck in your efforts.

I Got take out and tried the sweet heart roll, bring it home for your girlfriend its adorable and delicious. The hand rolls are good they even have soy paper. Tuna Youke was a great portion and very fresh. Pan fried Goyzas delicious stuffing and generous portion. So far so good. It was my first time there and I will return. So far the best sushi around Weston. Because I got take out I can't score on service.

Best sushi in Weston (although they are classified as Sunrise oddly enough).

Sushi Tom is family owned and operated and has been around for years. You can tell how much they value their customers the minute you walk through the door. They even recognized a couple of my friends as they frequent this sushi place often. Guaranteed you won't walk out feeling depressed for over spending as everything is reasonably priced (for a decent size). A party of three came out to be $50 (each with a salad and a roll). It has two stories with tables upstairs and down. However, probably the most notable is the enormous Kimono's on the wall, which if asked nicely, they will take it down so that you can try it on!! The food was splendid and overall, pretty impressed with the service. It should also be noted that our server was easy on the eyes and incredibly nice. I've been wooed.

I gotta say this place just didn't do it for me. First, it was hard to find (hey I'm from out of town and for some reason my gps just couldn't figure out where this place was), but I was determined to have sushi. I appreciate that it's family run - they were all super friendly and offered quick service - the other reviewers are right on about that. But I just really didn't like the sushi very much. Maybe I'm used to sushi a certain way? Of all the places I've gone and had sushi around the country/world - nothing tasted quite like this. Spicy Tuna - a staple in every sushi restaurant and something I have ordered hundreds of times was really weird tasting - they use a different mayo or something. I didn't like it at all. I could barely eat it. I don't know what they put in it, but I just didn't like it - the fish itself was fine though.

Pretty good Sushi for the area. Staff is very attentive. Prices not to bad. Good place to hit before a movie at the Weston 8.

Eight years in Weston and still good!! I forget about it sometimes, but they just sent out a coupon for 10% off and we decided, LET'S GO THERE!! It's still really good, and fresh and clean. They have great rolls, specials and wonderful attentive service. A cute sushi bar and tables downstairs and a large upstairs area where we had my son's birthday a few years ago. They accommodate special requests; brown rice, changes in the rolls and it was really tasty. Even without the coupon, still worth it....Will go back.......soon....

Waited for over 45 minutes for our food (sushi). When it finally came, I can't say it was awful, but I can say that the fish (all the fish) was tasteless. My wife got a roll she liked, but I thought was ho-hum at best. I got the sushi /sashimi combo and actually left 3 pieces behind because I didn't feel I could be hungry enough to put another piece of that stuff in mouth. I left a piece of salmon, tuna and white tuna behind. those three are usually my favorite 3 types, but I couldn't tell the difference in taste between any of them. In fact I couldn't tell the taste of them at all. Just awfully mediocre. I don't know if the fish is mixed together before being put in the case or if the fish was not fresh (didn't smell bad, just had no smell and no taste). I will not go back. The only good thing I can say about the place is that they came by 3 times to apologize for the wait. As far as a I could see they didn't have a large party they were serving, but there is an upstairs and I did not go there and look.

Cold, uninviting atmosphere. Indifferent servers. Good food. The upstairs has been closed off, which years ago, was a great little romantic perch. I wish someone with some good business sense could rescue this potential gold mine. Recommend Takeout only.

This is an upscale all you can eat place. It's a bit more expensive but the food is prepared for each order and not some buffet with items that may be hours old. You order all you'd like and there are many items to choose from to include sashimi and sushi rolls. Multiple salads to choose from and edamame. Cooked to order items also on the all you can eat to include chicken and other meats. We will definitely be back to try even more items. We had 3 salads, 3 rolls, many types of sashimi and multiple rolls. Everything was delicious.

I used to love this place (have come here for years) but ever since they had new owners last year, it has been slowly going down hill. The staff switched from being friendly to not even knowing who you were. The sushi seems not as fresh and the recipes aren't the same. I feel like I'm in a strange place.

This place used to be great a few years ago, but now it has gone drastically downhill. The food is still decent but the service is horrid. The last time I was there, they spilled our drinks on us and then didn't give us anything to wipe off with, didn't check on us a single time, didn't refill our drinks, my teriyaki was room temperature, and they brought out the complementary noodle dish for the table next to us but blatantly left us out. We have been coming to this place for so long, always polite and tipping well, yet they treat us like garbage. This last time was the last time.

I've been to Sushi Tom several times now but the food quality & service has gotten progressively worse each time my wife and I have eaten here. You definitely get bang for the buck here, but the quality just isn't there... I always give a restaurant the benefit of the doubt, but for past two experiences, it was just plain BAD! From our most recent visit on a Friday night, things didn't start out right. I found a hair in my salad (Yuck!). That was an absolute turn off. I had them send it back, but I think all they did was just remove the hair and give me the same salad. The tuna sashimi was a dull red which was a bad sign that the fish wasn't fresh. My sushi combo was "okay" but I've had better sushi from Japanese buffets. Our waitress did not seem friendly at all. Overall, we left this place very disappointed and will most definitely never return.

This place is my favorite sushi place in Weston. However, it is under new management so the menu is slightly different. Sushi is good and fresh. They also deliver. Service is straight to the point as they dont speak much english. Age tofu is my favorite.

I'm confused. I've seen a few other reviews lately about Tom's, and not too favorable, but I disagree. Tom's is still has the best sushi in Weston, hands down! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the spicy tuna is the best! Go check it out tonight!

very fresh and service was almost too incredible...we counted 6 different people helping us. Try the spicy fish salad. I am becoming a regular
