Gameroom is located on the outside area at Sawgrass Mills Mall near the movie theater. I've visited this location several times and hosted my son's birthday party here this past weekend. I contacted them several months ago to get a quote for the party. Customer service since then and on the day of the party was absolutely wonderful. Avery booked my party and was extremely helpful with all of my requests. All of my questions were always answered in a timely fashion and he was very professional. Amanda was our party host and she worked her tush off, by herself, serving our party of about 35. Just like Avery, she was easy to work with and helped with all my requests with a smile. The party was for kids ages 6-13 and it worked out perfectly; their smiles said it all. Our party package included food from partner Johnny Rockets. We sampled the burgers, pizzas, Southwestern platter, and fries/onion ring combo. The food is, well, Johnny Rockets food: nothing fancy, but OK for the arcade. I didn't try it, but they also have frozen yogurt available. This is not a huge game center, but big enough to have something for everyone. Everything is clean, nicely spaced, and the kids seemed happy with their "ticket" purchases. Highly recommended for birthday parties and younger kids.

The only place open late around these woods. I was introduced to this place because of their Frozen Yogurt, they have a machine with Over 20 favors of frozen yogurt. I come here with to hang out with late night? And although they serve no beer, they do serve yogurt. There is a also a Johnny Rockets which seems connected to this Game room but I think they are separate businesses. Good Burgers & Milk Shakes anyone? The games are a bit outdated in my option, ore for kids than adults. It's like a chuck e cheese but for teenagers. This is a cool spot to hang late night while in the area, also Johnny Rockets is a good thing too.

We discovered this place on Yelp one evening and we took our niece for her birthday that same day. We've gone back and are planning a trip in December when our family come down. Great place for some family fun, but the folks who take your tickets aren't organized at all. I suggest skipping this process and just okay the games.

Gameroom is the stepchild of Gameworks. It is smaller in stature and has less variety! Huge warning: When you purchase a gamecard, go for the one that offers you tickets. The selection of the arcade games is very minimal-- so minimal that it is quite disappointing. Gameroom is definitely a place to hang out with a couple of friends and enjoy some fro-yo! I give it 3 stars, but it is more like 2.5 stars.

Video Games, booze and food... well sorta on the food part. I've been here a few times and didn't care for the food. I love the concept though. It's a fun place to meet my friends who have kids because both the adults and kids can have fun. The menu looks good. They just need to work (really hard) on the quality of what comes from the kitchen.

This place is okay. I'm quite a bit older than their average customer (read: a child) but I came here for some good clean fun with a friend and had a fairly good time. My main complaint is primarily my own fault--when I got there I decided to get an hour time card to play, but I did not get the one that ensures you can play the ticket games. Since I was not into winning prizes, I thought that wouldn't be a big deal. Big mistake! Most of the games there are ticket games. After walking around, I also think that the ticket games are probably the most appealing part of this place in the age of superior at-home gaming consoles. Many of the video games are outdated and have lousy graphics by today's standard. Secondly, I was having issues with the time card swiping and getting the error of insufficient credits. I don't truly know if that was truly a technical error, or again, an oversight on my part, but it was annoying as I bought an hour time play card and felt so severely limited in my entertainment choices. I also tried to "bowl" there at their mini alley and for some reason the game was malfunctioning on me! It was fine at first, but after a few tries the alley kept on picking up the pins at the worst times!

Expensive, but me and my boyfriend can't resist a few beers and acting like complete kids again at an arcade. This is kid-friendly, but trust me when I say it is an enjoyable place to have a laid back date night and have some fun too.

Fun, Fun, Fun! I Really did not think I would have so much fun at this place. As you walk in all you see and hear and video and arcade games. O.K. I thought, I'll play some games and hang with my sis. It won't be that bad. Wow, you get lost in this kind of childhood euphoria and the time just flies. Although I have to say I was exhausted by hour 2. We stayed a total of 4 hours and it was great. Now the food......not so much. Service...........not so much. First I went to the bar to get a couple of sodas and the "bar tender" did not even take a second look at me. Finally I asked another girl if I could order from her, she paused as if confused and then said sure! Great all I want are two sodas, thanks. Took me like 15 minutes to get a soda, come on. Anyways, after my sis and I sat at a table to get a bit to eat cause my nephew didn't stop for a second to eat, but then again he is 11. So we ordered the "healthiest" thing on the menu, a turkey, bacon, tomato sandwich with a side of fries. Maybe not so healthy. So again the waitress takes forever to get our order and then to bring it. Ok so the food was not horrible, but the prices are a bit high for what the food is. Finally the tip is included on the check already! What and 18%, excuse me you did not so that great of a job, but ok. So the food part not so great, but the game part which is the reason we went there was awesome!!! If the place would get better food, better service and maybe a nicer dinning area I would give it 5 stars.

They have a TON of specials here. Half off appetizers during the majority of weekday afternoons, and huge beers for only $3. No kidding, you need two hands to lift these gigantic mugs. They have a wide selection of games and gameplay options. I can't complain about somewhere I can go drink and play three different DDRs at 11am!

To start this really isn't my kind of place - I'm not that into video games. However, if I had kids or were with people that did like video games - this place is filled with games to play. It looked like they had a ton of choices and several of my coworkers had a great time playing them My work had a function there - rented a room had food/drinks and then cards to play games with. Our waitresses were kind of slow with the drinks and it seemed like the orders got mixed up a few times. The room was pretty small and the way they laid out the tables was terrible. A u shaped table that took up almost the whole room w/ just a little room at one end for pitchers of water/soda and the other end for the food. There wasn't really any place to effectively stand and it was really awkward to walk around the room, or sit inside the U. Trying to walk by people seated to get to the food or the drinks was nearly impossible - the aisle way was about 6" wide. The food was edible - definitely not great (though I didn't expect it to be at a video game place). Then since we had only rented the room for some set amount of time they kicked us out - even though no one else was waiting for it (and really it didn't seem like this was such an "upgrade"). Anyway, we sat at high top tables out near the bar which was fine and easier to maneuver than the room anyway. Seems like a good place to bring kids and grab a few beers.

I love video games, but this place is just ok. They have a decent amount of games, some skee-ball, a tiny bowling game, and air hockey. They cater towards families, but a whole bunch of the games seem to appeal just to kids. There are way too many of the 'use the crane to get a toy' and 'pull this lever to get tickets' games. They have added a few things, but if I have to choose, I would pick Dave and Busters. With that being said, this is a great place for kids. My five-year-old loves GameRoom. And the parents can have a beer. That is kind of a win.

Decent prices that are accurate on the website as far as game credits go. Big variety in games and a good number of games give tickets that can be turned in for prizes that aren't outrageously priced either. One thing I will add that was very frustrating is that if you purchase a one hour unlimited play card you have to wait to charge another game, so basically if you share it with a friend or many friends don't expect to play too many games too fast. One time I played DDR and had to wait 300 seconds before I could use the card again! Oh and not to mention when we played the Daytona race car game with 4 players we had to wait a minute in between each card swipe so we could get everyone in the race. Overall a decent experience and if you are really good at games you will earn awesome prizes and a lot of tickets, and if you just feel like eating or getting your drink on that's also possible, as the food and drink prices are average for a restaurant

Kind of disappointed in the place, not a lot of games, a few were broken. Even had three or more of the same game, limited variety. They had a bowling alley pecan type of game that was not working properly. Just not enough to keep you busy. If there is one or two games they are with people that stay in them too long. Watch the scale when you turn in your tickets. The girl that did ours read the scale wrong, come on the place was empty and all you had to do is read a digital scale and credit us. It is the best thing in that mall, as the mall is like any other mall. A lot of shopping outside of the mall which is nice.

Overall: Pretty fun place with air hockey tables! I love air hockey haha, well it was fun until basketballs and footballs started flying everywhere making my girlfriend and I pay more attention to avoid getting hit than to the air hockey game. The Experience: Overall the experience is not that good in my opinion because the staff fails to control kids raging (which it is an arcade kids are having fun, but they shouldn't be reckless) I don't even remember how many times my girlfriend and I got hit with balls, so we were extremely bothered and I'm sure others were bothered as well.

I signed up to receive e-mails from Gameroom a while back. Every once in a while, I get an offer that brings me in to play. It can get pretty pricey. I can spend a $20 game card all by myself playing Harpoon Lagoon and then want to go back to the register for more. If you haven't played, just do it. The tickets are basically handed to you in that game. One way or another, I end up with an hour time card; so Acelyn B and I usually meander around trying to figure out what we can play. It's alway fun to let your inner child come out to play. It's paired with a fro-yo service and a Johnny Rockets. It's definitely less adult friendly compared to D&B. In terms of size, a lot smaller than the D&B in Hollywood too. Really, it's just a-ok. Perhaps even borderline meh. I can't deny that I do enjoy that Harpoon Lagoon which keeps me coming back.

This place is "ok" can be pricey, they get business because of their groupon deals. Unfortunately many of the games are for "tickets" and when you get only a time card they don't include those games. The fact that there is a Johnny Rockets attached is awesome! But once again overpriced. Not only that but on two separate occasions I have had my drink thrown away while I was playing a game. They should really ask you if you're done especially if the drink is not empty. The staff there are all really friendly though, and on our last visit they told us to become "VIP" you just keep your card and reload it every time you come in to reach 700 minutes (I believe)... Then the games all come at a cheaper number of points! Good to know!

The server in Johnny Rockets was rude. He bullied children from a Summer Camp outing ranging in age from 11-14 into leaving tips. One child was bullied into leaving a $4.00 tip for a $6.00 tab. He threw food to them and complained about not being tipped. He should not be serving children. Children should not be expected to tip when on a field trip. If they felt the service warranted that it is their discretion to do so, they should not be bullied or treated with disdain. The food is overpriced and mediocre, the service is APPALLING!

My son loves this place. He totally loves getting tickets and trading them in for prizes. He also likes all the video games and flashing lights. He's five years old, so no surprises there. I was disappointed that when I was helping him ride a motorcycle game the handle bars were covered in chocolate syrup. Some kid with dirty hands must have just played on it or dropped his ice cream on it. So that turned my thoughts about the place a little negative. I had to soap my hands three times to get the gunk off, and I still felt gross after wards. But overall, I'm glad this place exists. I think their execution could be a little better, but it's good for what it is: a place for kids to have fun while draining your wallet.

Loads of fun!! Got a groupon deal and it was worth it! There's 3 of us but I got the deal for 4 play cards. The token, or rainbow, points go VERY quickly. Unfortunately most of the games are rainbow. The timed, or blue, points last for 2 hours but the games are limited. We also had one game of bowling included on each card. Everything worked, unlike other reviews. Large range of games too. Loads of fun and we all enjoyed ourselves! We will return next vacation.

My kids had a great time here. Its pretty clean and they have a decent selection of video games to keep the kids entertained or at least away from me for like an hour. I like that the place is not too huge, its a good size enough to keep an eye on your kids. The staff was pretty nice, and they have Yogurt your way and Johnny Rockets right inside. Tuesdays and Thursdays the games are unlimited for $12 from 3pm.

I really, thoroughly, enjoy gameworks. The games are all really great, with a mix of classic arcade games and newer additions. There are also a lot of options to get tickets (although you never quite win enough to get anything good). It's just video games mixed with drinks and light, light gambling, pretty much! Fun when you want a change from the usual weekend activities. The service is also pretty good, there is always someone there to assist if needed.
