It amazes me that this place is still in business. They have thee worst service ever- the staff does not know or understand their own menu, takes 25 minutes to prepare all of their "Comida rapida" orders, and then gets your order wrong every time. We ordered: 1. Arepas and they were a crazy $5 dollars a piece and were not sweet, they tasted like paper. 2. Raspados are not authentic, the ice is not shaved as it should be, it's like a really cheap made snow-cone that lacks flavor. 3. Salchipapas had no flavor, super dried out and overcooked. If you can't trust them to get their own food right, what can you trust them with?

The food was good but I only ordered a munchies hotdog to go and it took almost 40 minutes to get my order and sometimes they give me the wrong thing when I order. Disappointed in the time I had to wait just to get the food.

horrible. nasty. greasy. disgusting. It took the waiter literally 30 mins to get our drinks and about 1-1/2 hr to get our dogs. We waited patiently because we were expecting great Colombian hot dogs but what a disappointment! I couldn't eat it because how disgusting it was. Horrible service and horrible food.

Went there last night, ordered a 12-piece chicken wings. Half Buffalo/ Half Hawaiian.... Psssh I thought I'd get at least some decent wings... Nope this place is basically dropping Tyson Brand chicken wings in a deep fryer.... Oh god last time going there. Big disappointment

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because of bad service bc the food is still amazing I've been coming here for more than 8 years and I've never had a problem, I decided to take some friends after the brazil vs Colombia game so they could try the great variety of Colombian fast food, the place was packed with a line running out the building somehow we found table in back, the food took and hour in half to come out, they only had three servers they should have been more prepared knowing that some of 70,000 people after Colombian soccer game were gonna show up typical Colombian very unorganized and careless my friends hated the place bc they had to wait and hour and Half and the food came out wrong. I'll still be coming to this place bc I live near and it's the best when it comes to Colombia fast food

It's my first time traveling to this area and I looked up Yelp reviews to pick a nice local spanish/Colombian place to eat. This place has a very cheap atmosphere. The food was also below par and was VERY expensive considering the portion sizes. I paid close to the $5.00 for the SMALLEST portion of rice and beans I have ever seen. They put them in small containers usually used for sides of sauces. It was unbelievable. Several of us tried the food, two arepas, two empanadas and a half chicken with "rice" and salad. The chicken was the only thing worth eating although they say its rotisserie it's CLEARLY fried. The shredded beef and chicharron had no flavors. Just lots of grease and sauce to disguise the lack of seasoning. You could also tell the empanadas are pre-made frozen, except maybe the beef one which was pretty good considering. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will be searching for other local eats during my stay. SKIP IT.

A co-worker of mine loves this place and invited me after work. We both had an empanda, the Super Picada Mixta, the Super Munchies Cubano and of course a columbian beer, Aguila =) To be honest, I really enjoyed the food. The portions are huge, we shared everything and the prices are good. The inside could use some renovations but once we started eating, I could care less what the place looked like because the food definitely distracted me. I love all the different sauces!!!! I read reviews and people complained of the staff but maybe I caught them on a good day, they were very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering and making recommendations.

The manager/owner was so great, excellent customer service came over greeted our table, made the food fast and fresh. They are even opened through the nights on some days so I'll definitely be going back to try other things and to support their business!

I'll start off by saying I don't know much about Colombian fast food or Colombian food in general. The area it's located is a little awkward, off to its own corner of the plaza and the parking is a little tight. When I went in at night, the place was lit up dimly by neon lights. Now it's not too bad but I felt like it could've been brighter but I guess that's the sort of look they're going for. The sofas and tables look a little worn, and for some reason the sofas in the middle are smaller than the ones by the window, meaning I can't really sit back and relax. That said, service was so-so. I came in with a friend and there's four girls behind the counter, I don't know how to order so we grab menus and sit down. It was about 10 minutes I think and no one came by so I assumed you went up to the cash register and placed your order there. When I did, the waitress said I'll come to you so I sat back down and waited. After a few minutes she asked us what we wanted and I picked the Perro Caliente [$3.99] (hot dog with ketchup, pink sauce apparently just mayo and ketchup mixed, crushed potato chips, and pineapple sauces) and a small snow cone [$3] with various fruit ingredients. The hot dog was unremarkable, the snow cone was better. My friend got this mixture of sweet corn, cheese, and crushed potato chips with pineapple and pink sauce for $3.99. One of those small box styrofoam containers. Didn't look too appetizing. I would probably say to try out some of the other foods, but the service was sort of a turnoff.

The restaurant was very disorganized. We sat at the table and the menus were all oily so we decided to take our food out. When we got home we were very unimpressed by the taste. I would never return back as it was also very dirty.

I live a few blocks away from this place and I've been eating there twice per month for 3+ years, and after the new management took over this place has gone to crap.. I always order the super monchies Cuban sandwich and its suppose to come loaded!! Well lately they only put 2 slices of ham 2 slices of cooked pork and that's about it. And I believe it's not worth paying 10$ for a few slices of ham and some cheese. The waitresses have an attitude and at times rude. Also the empanadas are a disaster I guess they are fried earlier and then when you order them they are refried, there has been a couple of occasions that I have gotten the empanadas semi frozen in the inside yet crunchy on the outside .. The only got thing bout this place is that is open late

I cant believe they have this place on Yelp. Personally, I enjoy it here. It is authentic colombian stuff. I love colombian food because your able to buy an empanada cheap and pan de bono or the little cans of sodas for 75 cents. And thats considered a meal. Ok no more run ons. The decor is fun and the lighting outside is groovy. This place is good by me to go to after the club or late night. I'd imagine in the daytime is fine too but i consider this place late night munchies.. They have these frozen icey smoothie shake things that are to die for. Good luck ordering it but its soo good.

I would have given 5 stars solely on their food, which is amazing. But I must agree with everyone else here, service SUCKS. Still, I can't help but be lured in by their gigantic burgers and hot dogs that stay true to the Colombian street vendors and have ingredients that may be a bit unusual on your average fast food places. Judging only by their food and considering I highly dislike "fast food", this place is a no brainier for me. The prices are ridiculous for the size of their food and it's Colombian fast food. Nothing like a BK or MCD's... It's more like real food made fast. I've had everything on their menu and everything is fantastic. P.S: Try their "Super toston mix" it is to die for. I am Marianna O, I am Colombian, and I approve this Colombian fast food restaurant.

Last year, I would have given this place 4* because the locale was a bit run down. However, last time I went, I was pleasantly surprised that the place has been redone and now has a much better ambiance. I also felt that the service has improved a lot. No reason not to give 5* now. The food is amazing. Best Colombian Fast food in the area. Their Choriperros, Maicitos, and Empanadas are TOP NOTCH. their fresh fruit juices are amazing. Much better than other places in the vicinity.

The food was great but you could tell the waitresses didn't get along and this made the experience not so great. I know pretty waitresses are good for the business but I'll rather have good service.

Cute little place with a little bit of everything! I really liked their Chicago Dog and fries. The empanadas were good, and cheap. Two of us had lunch for $13. We didn't have a service problem, but we were there as soon as they opened for lunch. Their menu is huge.

Only reason why I cannot give it more stars is due to the service.. Great Colombian fast food!

this place is amazing. Just for the plain fact that they have a HUGE variety of food to please everyone in the family. They have delivery and free wi-fi too! Let me start by letting you all know about the large selection of smoothies they have. All made with REAL fruits. They also have Raspados and if you are not familiar with raspados you should stop by and be prepared to be indulged. They are shaved ice with whatever toppings you can imagine. My favorite one has to be the condensed milk with maracuya! If you want to get a little bit of everything here, please make sure you don't leave without trying their chicharron, their choclo (maiz de queso covered with potato chips, pineapples and their homemade pink sauce) I know it sounds weird but it is delicious! Their Colombian empanadas are very flavorful and one of the best I have had around this area. Their waitresses are all very kind and I loved that they are constantly checking if everything is okay or if we desired anything else. they were very attentive. I will definitely be coming here again for over the last year that I moved around this area I have visited Munchies at least 6-7 times.

Amazing, great Colombian fast food, the best thing they are open super late everyday. Great service and fun environment. The only bad thing is a bad service from the wait staff. But I will still go because I love their food

The worst place to go out at night!! We went at 11:30pm on a Saturday night, they had a full staff and no one came to our table for 25 minutes until we decided to walk out and go to "Los Perros". All the waitresses were at the counter talking to their friends paying little or no attention to the customers!! I was expecting something better...

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
