Have lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and this place has been here and open the entire time. I'm aware it has changed owners over the years. My experience has been hit and miss and recent reviews have been mixed as well. Last night we gave delivery another try and were pleasantly surprised! We ordered Spring Rolls, Crab Rangoons, Wonton Soup, Chicken lo Mein and Orange Chicken with white rice. Delivery was relatively quick. I imagine it helps that we live less than 5 minutes from the place. The soup was hot and delicious. The spring rolls and rangoons were still hot and crisp. I didn't order the Lo Mein for myself but tried it and it was yummy. The Orange Chicken was freshly prepared and cooked perfectly. The accompanying broccoli was freshly steamed. The sauce was just right and there was plenty to pour over the rice. The presentation inside the take out box was impressive (for take out) too! Overall, I'm glad I gave them another try. They will be my new go-to for Chinese take-out and I recommend them to anyone that might be hesitant to give them a try.

I ordered delivery from here and My food arrived very quickly and was very hot. When I got the food I was surprised at the vast amount of food I got! I got a bunch of Kung Bao chicken with my order and a ton of fried rice! My order even came with a side of wonton soup which was piping hot and delicious. I also ordered two spring rolls and two egg rolls, they were bigger than I expected and really tasty. My fiancé got the General Tso chicken and loved how good it was. Overall this place is great and they had lunch specials from 12-3 I believe. Great food, prices, and delivery!

We've been ordering from Happy Wok for a while now, and there food is good. Delivery is excellent, and they are always very cordial. Recommend giving them a try, they are pretty good.

The only reason I'm giving this establishment two stars as opposed to one is because the employees were pleasant, the food was hot and delivery was fast. The food, however, was terrible. I ordered the General Tso chicken based on another very positive Yelp review. The chicken (and I am being generous in calling it that) was razor thin, slimy and practically non existent. The breading, which was all the meal consisted of, was soggy. The rice was bland and the egg drop soup and spring roll were average. I won't be ordering from them again.

If you want Chinese food without the bad after effects then come here to eat. It is the one place that doesn't upset my BF and my stomach. The place is a hole in the wall but the people there are super friendly and family friendly. The prices are good when you compare what you get for them. The combination platter gives you the most bang for your buck. You can easily eat three meals from it for only 9 bucks for dinner. It includes pork fried rice, your choice of meat, soup and egg roll. All in All, very good place. They recently added online delivery.

We tried it because we didn't want to drive all the way to Jan Mae down the road and this is about 2 blocks from our home, The Hot and sour soup was okay although there wasn't much in it. No tofu and very few vegetables. My wife ordered some chicken fried rice and was unhappy as there were too many peas and onions. She said it was okay but not the same quality as at J-M where we usually go. We may try again soon for convenience as they are very close.

Service & Delivery were fast. However, the food is very bland. Ordered General Tso Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, both with eggrolls & wonton soup and ALL of it was tasteless. I will never eat from here again.

This place is reasonable in price and the food is okay. I've really tried to like them but every time I call for delivery it ALWAYS takes at least an hour and a half for delivery. I mean I know that it'll take a while for delivery anywhere you go, but almost 2 hrs AFTER you've ordered is a bit much. If you want pretty decent food and don't mind waiting a WHILE for delivery, then this place is okay.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
