Love this place! I'm so glad I decided to try it (make sure you go early on the weekend, you will find a big crowd waiting) but I must say it was worth the wait. My first time I had the Parma hash (without Italian sausage and egg whites only) and it was delicious! Since then that has been my favorite. The pancakes are fluffy and yummy, tomato basil soup is also great and my brother really enjoyed the turkey sandwich. I'm picky when it comes to seasoning and First Watch nails it with every dish, no complaints at all. I also don't eat meat so I'm glad they have plenty of options to choose from in their menu. The servers are really nice too! Which so early in the day it's quite refreshing... Overall delicious quality food you won't regret to try it. I will give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of seating when waiting for a table.

Randomly checked out this place because wanted to get brunch but not break the bank. I was warned about the wait via other yelp users but it was only a half hour which is pretty decent, and I was there at noon on a Sunday. Coffee was served right away and our orders were taken soon after. The food was ready in about 10-15ish minutes and was delicious, I got one of those potato hash bowls. The one with the avocado, I was easily able to substitute the bacon for mushrooms because I'm a vegetarian. It was super delicious and filling! I ordered two pancakes but was only able to eat one. For the tl;dr crowd, reasonable wait time, great service, fair prices, delicious food.

It was so hard finding places that had brunch that lasted until the afternoon hours, during the week...Until I found First Watch on Yelp!!! Met a friend there at 12 pm & stayed until closing!!! We both enjoyed our meals!!! We shared the banana nut pancake...Delishhh!!! How the heck did they get that granola in there??? We each had different hash dishes. I had the veggie hash & she had the one with sausage. Yummy!!! Service was good, pleasant, & prompt too!!! I will definitely return!! I want to try more items on the menu!!! Can't wait to go back! Kudos to the staff & management team!!!

The BEST breakfast/lunch place around. Everything is always fresh, there are several healthy choices/options, the service is friendly and efficient, and they change out unique and delicious specials every month or two. I drive about 20 minutes to eat here on weekends. I only wish there were one closer to my house so I could eat here more often!

Thanks for the nicest breakfast I had in a log time. The staff was pleasant and smiling. THIS IS WHAT A GUEST WANTS AND OF COURSE GREAT FOOD. I have been in the business for fourteen years. FRISTWATCH your doing something right.

Everything I would ever want in a cafe. Super cute menu and excellent service. The turkey avocado eggs Benedict is a MUST and their blueberry pancakes are excellent too. But be careful, the pancakes are huge like they advertise so 2 pancakes are good enough for 3-4 to share. The green iced tea is the best drink ever, even better than Starbucks! Doesn't hurt that it is free refills too. Get your bellies ready because you're going to be super full when you leave!

I know this is a chain, but this place is 10 times better than any other comparable business (think Original Pancake House). Their menu is HUGE. Their coffee is tasty and cups are botomless! And for someone like me that doesn't eat eggs for breakfast, the options are still numerous. From waffles, to pancakes to crepes, to huge yogurt and granola parfaits. Keyword: TONS OF FRUIT. As a note, my breakfast companion did order from the omelette section of the menu and he loved it. This is also a great place a quick lunch if you work in the area. Service is really fast and options are simple (think sandwiches) but healthy. Most lunch plates come with 3 sides: fruit salad, green salad and potatoes. When I first ordered I thought I had to pick one of the 3.... but no, all 3 came with my super grilled cheese sandwich ("Cheese to the 5th Degree"). They are also very health-conscious and mark which items are gluten and/or allergen free. Their "healthier side" portion of the menu is pretty diverse if you're looking for a less guilty option. I read some of the other comments that talked about bad service. Fortunately I've never had any service issues, neither at the Sunrise nor the Boca locations.

This place is great for breakfast. Much to choose from and a menu that offers healthy options. I ordered the banana granola pancakes w/ a side of sunny side up eggs and a cup of tea. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Also serves lunch, but if breakfast is what you're craving and you want to avoid all the other well known breakfast chains, give First Watch a try.

If you're looking for a healthy but still incredibly tasty breakfast place, this is it! It's worth paying a few extra bucks to get away from the greasy breakfasts that are so common in the area. This place uses high-quality ingredients in a clever way and in a clean, friendly environment. I loved my BLT eggs benedict. The Arugula made it special. Everyone else with me loved what they had and I can't wait to go back and try their Quinoa bowls. So happy First Watch is around and has several locations to choose from. Give them a try!

One of my favorite breakfast spots!! The brûlée banana waffle is amazing and the staff is super friendly!

Offers varied healthy options! Since I can't eat eggs, I still get other protein and enjoy breakfast time!

I had just spent 3 days on the road driving down from NY and wanted a breakfast place that served healthy options. I was drawn by the positive reviews already offered. I also think the free coffee while you wait is a delightful touch. I was told I might have a 30-40 minute wait. But I was seated within 15 minutes. My food was very good. And it arrived fairly quickly, especially given how busy the place was. I'll be back. My only suggestion for improvement is for my server... It doesn't hurt to smile every now and then. He was polite & efficient. But he wasn't very friendly.

Food and service was amazing! I had the breakfast scramble and it was perfect. The spinach was fresh and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Overall great experience!!! I will definitely return.

  • Neshama B.

Everything that my party ordered was fresh and tasty! I had the works omelet. I would say that my omelet was amazing. The entire restaurant looks squeaky clean which is a plus because the shopping plaza it is located looks sort of ragged and poor. If it weren't for the previous reviews we would never have stopped here on our way leaving florida.

Super fast service. Wonderful staff and amazing food :) can't say much more other than I wish I would have found this earlier in my trip!

My family and I love First Watch. It's hard to find a breakfast spot that has great food and great coffee is either one or the other. This place has both. Everything is fresh and healthy. No this doesn't mean dry boring no flavor food. The opposite it's moist delicious and lots of variety. Their blueberry pancakes are fluffy and full of yummy blueberries (sshh their whole wheat don't tell my 11yr old). Also try their amazing variety of teas. You most try it!! :)

For the past three months, this has been my Sunday spot for breakfast. There is usually a 30-35 minute wait if you arrive after 10 am, but it is well worth it, especially since they have free, fresh-brewed coffee while you wait. The best part of this place is that the menu was created with the health-conscience person in mind. Quinoa, fresh fruit, egg whites, avocado are just some of the ingredients incorporated into several of their dishes. My favorite item on the menu is the banana nut crunch pancake. Trust me, one pancake is enough. It's huge. The Key West crepegg is also creatively delicious. A light egg crepe filled with avocado, cheese, bacon and turkey and then topped with sour cream and salsa. The crepeegg also comes with an English muffin and your choice of home fries or fresh fruit. The coffee isn't too bad either. What I like the most is you don't have to wait for the coffee lady to come around to fill your mug back up. Your server automatically leaves a coffee carafe at your table when you order a cup of Joe. For being a chain, First Watch definitely knocks out other restaurant/breakfast chains out of the water.

I LOVEEEE this place for breakfast. The staff is very friendly. The food is very fresh and healthy, yay. The service is awesome and the food comes out quickly. :) :) :)

I tried the Bacado and the Killer Cajun omelets and was very impressed with both omelets. They tasted fresh and were reasonably priced. The place was completely packed at 10:30am on a weekday. Would definitely return to try their pancakes.

Best breakfast chain ever. Healthy breakfast options. Also has good lunch options. So many tasty menu options. They also have turkey bacon and sausage.

  • Shani C.

The avocado, bacon omelette with salsa and sour cream was great! Everything had a wonderful look and they serve nice portions. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was the blueberry pancakes. They lacked the light fluffiness the makes a pancake great and they need more blueberries. Overall, I will go back to sample a few more things on the menu, except the pancakes.

The menu selection was extensive, and the customer service great. Loved that there were healthy options!

Best Breakfast Chain going anywhere in the country. Is this company publicly traded? Buy their stock. This is my go to breakfast place when I'm hungry. Good quality and good value. Kitchen is open and looks clean everytime I walk by. Even their coffee is above-average (better than diner quality coffee). They leave the carafe on the table, so you can keep your own coffee hot. Nice! I would like some more muffin choices. It's always the same: blueberry or lemon poppy. Get there early. Lines start at 8 or 8:30 am. Worth the wait.

  • Ed B.

Love this place! The coffee is excellent and all of the food is fresh and good. My whole family loves the breakfast. I had eggs with bacon and a waffle and my wife had the tomato basil soup with a vegetable grilled cheese and she swears it the best she ever had. Good choice for breakfast or lunch anytime...

Stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning waiting for Sawgrass Mills to open. There was quite a wait for a table when we arrived but we were seated within 10 minutes. The menu has just about everything you could imagine and the service was definitely solid. I recommend sticking to what they're known for (the items are shaded on the menu). When you're ready to pay the server will leave you a check and you pay at the front.

My sister and brother in law love eating out..including breakfast everyday. From what my sister says the breakfast spot promotes healthy eating and gets crowded pretty quickly on weekends. We got to First Watch right before the big rush. Luckily, we only waited about 10 minutes before there was a huge crowd of people outside. Disregarding that the place was known for its healthier choices I ordered the waffle, eggs, and sausage breakfast platter. I won't lie, but everything about it was perfect. Waffle was cooked just right and crispy. The eggs weren't too watery or too fluffy that it didn't have substance and my sausage was awesomely juicy. PLUS it was the perfect portion where I felt like I ate enough, but wasn't too full. A feeling I get too often when I go to IHOP. Service was great and quick. Unfortunately, my sister got a very screwed up waffle for some odd reason. (Mine was fine!) We notified the server and he said he would get one re-made ASAP. Unfortunately, same outcome. Instead of not caring about it, he kept apologizing and asked if we wanted to try one more time. We opted not to to save us and him some time. I was happy that he was on top of a mistake that wasn't his fault. Not many server are like that. Bottom Line: Good service, good prices, good food, awesome portions. I'd come back for sure! A great family atmosphere! Great place to have breakfast if you're watching what you eat too! They have a lot of choices for a very light breakfast.

New to the area, I was looking for a place for breakfast/brunch. Found First Watch through yelp. Friendly place, good service, great food. I had one of the hashes for breakfast. More than enough food! Definitely will be going back!

Pretty awesome and affordable healthy food. I had a quinoa power ball that made my day! My server was really helpful and kind. If you are around the area it's a no brainer. Can't wait to go back!

I went on a Friday morning around 9:30am and greeted by our waitress at the door which immediately took me and my wife to our table. Coffee was served just when seated and once we ordered our food came in less than 10mins. Every selection was clearly fresh and recently cooked with lot of enphasis on the presentation of the plate. I do fully recommend the banana granola pancake and the fruit creppes. Our waiter was excellent and took good care of us. This is definitively a good option on top of other nearby traditional breakfast places and their prices are fair enough taking in consideration the quality and freshness of the food.

Have been going to First Watch for a couple of month now every other Sat or Sunday. The food is consistently good and the service is prompt and friendly. Yes, going after 10AM you have to expect a line to wait but for me that's the sign of a good restaurant. I first discovered First Watch during a trip to Orlando and was happy to find them close to my home. If you are tired of Danny's and Ihop and you enjoy a good waffle, pancakes a variety of healthy omelets you much try First Watch.

If your looking for a breakfast or lunch spot with some healthy alternatives you've found it! The menu is full of diner type sandwiches, soups, and salads.

Great breakfast place. Always a long line outside but the wait is short (15-20 minutes). This location is pretty LOUD so if you "haven't had your coffee yet" it might not be enjoyable. They do however have small, free cups of coffee to enjoy while u wait. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the noise factor.

  • Tara T.

What can I say? I'm a huge fan!! Even now, as I've moved away I still think about this wonderful breakfast/brunch restaurant, why? 1. Free Coffee (while you wait) 2. They have a mission statement on every menu 3. Everybody in this restaurant is happy! Everyone! 4. They attempt to make breakfast healthy (if anything at least a guilt-free) 5. Tri-Athlete Omelet. Wish they had a franchise outside of Florida!! I'm ready!

Always love to go to First Watch. The food is fresh, with lots of flavors, and is never greasy. I usually order the healthy turkey, tri-athalon, or the eggs Benedict. Pancakes are fluffy and the coffee is delicious :) This particular FW had good service. The food got to us really quick and the server made sure our coffees were full.

One star??!!! Yes, one star. Nothing ruins a decent meal than the worst customer service you have ever experienced in your life. I came here for the first time to meet a high school friend I hadn't seen in 7 years. I came in, and didn't see her, so I decided to wait for her in the front. If she didn't come, I wasn't going to eat here. A blonde waitress came up. "hi!" she said "welcome to first watch. can i get you a table?" IM JUST KIDDING. she came up and spat out "how many? is that your party?!" nice greeting. I said no, i was waiting on someone and would just get a table when she came. "you want a table?" no, i repeated. she gave me these narrow eyes and went on with her job. everytime a new group of people came in she would yell at them "how many? how many?!" instead of greeting them. Come to the point when my friend comes in. We sit, order food, and talk about the past few years we hadn't seen each other. food was decent, but small portions ( i had the 1/2 soup and 1/2 sandwich, which was $0.50 cheaper than just getting a whole sandwich that came with a whole bowl of soup, what a stupid price game) The waitress slapped the tab down and walked away, no water refills, nothing, until it was 1 hr later and she comes up to us and sighs, saying "can you guys pay so i can ring out???" i was so shocked by her rudeness. what about "i'm sorry to interrupt, but my shift is over and i would appreciate it if you could pay so that i can leave. thanks." i couldn't believe it. What grade A witch. i really hope her boss reads this and talks to her. i will never EVER go here again until they train their staff properly!

Extremely disappointed with the quality of food after all of the great reviews. Food tasted like it came from a can and warmed; may have been because of the long wait.

  • Esther B.

Let me qualify the 3-star rating by saying that this place may be a four star, but not based on what we ordered today. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil bisque. Both were good, but failed to wow me. My 2 friends ordered salads and sandwiches. They had the same opinion, pretty much, saying that their food was a bit bland. The menu is interesting, especially for breakfast tiems, and I will certainly be back to try some of those. Breakfast is apparently the draw here, and likely what they do best. Overall, the service was good, the place was clean, no complaints.

I was in need of going to a great spot for breakfast. I stumbled upon this gem after trying Long Island Café. This place is way better!! I love their coffee and I was provided with some delicious hazelnut creamer. I had the banana granola pancake trifecta with turkey sausage & 2 scrambled eggs. My mom had the bacon avocado hash which was so tasty. Definitely coming back! :)

First Watch has been upping it's game recently. The quality of the food seems to be increasing and the choices are getting more creative with many healthy choices being added to the menu as well. Service is always pretty efficient.

Great breakfast. Fast and great service with a healthy variety of breakfast foods. Only draw back is a little pricy for a breakfast joint but overall good.

My breakfast was incorrect and brought out to the table 30 minutes after the rest of the group. The kitchen has no idea what it is doing. My corrected order was brought out to me multiple times by different people. Seating was terrible. 13 people were seated at a table better suited for 10. I will not be visiting again.

A friend and I took our other friend here for a belated birthday brunch. We all were first-timers so we were a little concerned that the birthday girl wouldn't like it. Luckily we're all big fans now, and we might make it a monthly thing to come here for breakfast! The staff was great and the food was absolutely delicious (Tri-Athlete Omelet & Fresh Fruit Crepes). The banana muffins that came with the crepes were to DIE for! Everything tasted fresh and healthy - not to mention my wallet didn't complain. We left with that satisfied feeling where you're not hungry anymore, but you also don't feel like a bloated fish. It was a 25-minute wait for us (Sunday around 12:30pm), but the free coffee in the waiting room kept us patient and happy. I felt good and light on my feet walking out the door, so they can definitely count on seeing me again.

I still enjoy this place, but not as much as before. I can't put my finger on it, but things have definitely changed. A server advised that some of the menu items have changed, even some of the recipes for old menu items are different. Have they ever heard the phrase "If it isn't broken, don't fix it." Nothing tastes the way it used to, but *shrug* it still a decent place to grab a meal.

Great breakfast food, friendly service, and reasonably paced, given the huge crowds this place draws. I enjoyed my blueberry waffles, and the coffee was good. I thought the menu had a decent variety of options without being an encyclopedia.

  • Wade M.

DELICIOUS FOOD, FRIENDLY SERVICE, GOOD PRICES - I went to the one in Orlando twice only to find the wait was too long. Now I know why. They're only open for breakfast and lunch, but they do it right. I withhold one star because the place could have a lot more soul and ambiance, and the name sounds like a political movement.

What's with the little bowl of fruit? 1 piece each of cantaloupe, pineapple, a grape, and half a strawberry? Oh Firstwatch, you remind me of 1 piece of lettuce Delta had on there meal trays, later removing it an adding millions to their bottom line. I love their food, don't get me wrong, the skillets are great, the crepeggs are better, and a pitcher of coffee on my table so that I drink 4 cups of coffee before the caffeine hits is the best. That fruit cup though? It's a valiant effort, but maybe just give me a nice thick orange slice cut and twisted all fancy on my plate because that piece of cantaloupe and the strawberry all taste like pineapple anyway. Eat here, best breakfast chain...for pancakes too!

One of my favorite breakfast places. I like it because they have different choices that really can't be found many other places and healthier alternatives which you are not charged extra for. I am only giving it 4 stars because my boyfriend says they don't give you enough food. I am on a diet so I look at it like they are trying to help me out. They just have fun choices and the best strawberry yogurt ever. So far I have tried the Siesta Key Cocktail(parfait) and the Fresh fruit crepes and they were both yummy. Today I had the special(they have a new cool one everyday) apple cinnamon pancake with egg beaters and turkey sausage. My only complaint would be that the pancake was lacking in the apple department. Over a cool place and you can get a wholesome breakfast sans the grease.

This is the 4th First Watch in Florida that I've dined at, and this one, like the others, did not disappoint. Standard breakfast/brunch/lunch fare, served from 7:30AM to 2:30PM daily. If you arrive between 10AM and 1PM on a weekend, do not be discouraged by the long wait outside. Take it as a testament to the quality of food you will receive, and trust me, the line moves quickly. Just use the idle time to look at the menu and make some decisions. As far as the menu is concerned, you have a variety to choose from: sweet and savory to please both the health-nuts and the over-indulgers. Portions are large, ingredients are fresh, and the quality is high (I stuffed myself with the eggs benedict and left feeling full, but not sluggish and greased up like I would coming out of an IHOP or Denny's). Service is always attentive, and time the arrival of your food from order placement - I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. Favorite breakfast spot.

My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try this place for quite a while because of the awesome reviews. Once we finally got a chance to go, we were slightly disappointed to find out that it is chain. That being said, the food was decent. I got the eggs benedict- bacon and avocado (BLT). The first few bites were pretty tasty, but then it just got blah and I was tired of it. Oh and there was only one little sliver of avocado on each Benedict!!! Stingy much?? I also ordered an ice coffee that was way too sweet. Even though I wasn't too happy with my meal, I will still come back because there are quite a few other things that I would like to try on the menu.

I love First Watch. I tried it after a friend recommended it to me and it's not only healthy, but also delicious. I tried the Kale drink and it was great. It tasted good, even though it was healthy and that's a win/win for me. I had the special which was steak with eggs and it was also healthy and delicious. I had no guilt afterwards. The portion was a little smaller than expected but still filling enough for me and still worth it. The coffee was great although I accidentally ended up putting salt in it (clearly I needed coffee) because I saw it on the table. (Major blond moment) The customer service was on point. She asked multiple times how we were doing and greeted us with a smile. She was very friendly as well. The atmosphere is pretty normal. It's clean, bright and a typical restaurant. The only thing I'd say was that for 2 people it ended up being $45 but quality over quantity I guess. It was still very, very good but just for breakfast, it was a bit much. If you ever feel like eating healthy and delicious, it's still worth it, at least for one try, it's a great place to go. I highly recommend it and there are options for everybody. The menu is extensive enough and versatile enough for me to go with pretty much any of my friends or family. I have read other reviews and heard it's a long wait but I went during the weekday around 10:30am and I had no wait. I will 150% be back and I highly recommend this spot to anybody and everybody.

After seeing great reviews for this restaurant, I decided to give it a try for breakfast. I called ahead to see if they did reservations and they do not, but they did mention they use an app called No Wait which you can use to check if there is wait time, and if there is you can get yourself on the list. I would really recommend the use of the app as the wait time can go up to 30 minutes or more. After the wait is over you are taken to your table and given menus, and here is the reason why my experience was not 5 stars. They were so rushed with trying to get people seated that the table was not properly set, and even though it was 7 of us there were cups, silver ware and menus for 4. And after that the server left and did not come back with things for others until we had to ask for it. Other than that servers are attentive and the order was perfect. Which brings me to the food. The menu has options for everyone, and all the portions are HUGE you will be fine with a single dish. In addition every dish we tried was delicious. Overall, if you are looking for a good place for breakfast give First Watch a try.

Some co-workers of mine told me about First Watch; about how the food is all natural, wholesome and organic. They specialize in breakfast entrees (breakfast served all day until they close at 2:30pm) and also serve lunch items like soups, sandwiches and salads. So far, out of the many times I've dined there, I've tried the Santa Fe Salad, the Banana Crunch multigrain pancakes, the Belgian Waffle with berry compote, and the summer special Avocado Toast. Every time I visit, I can never decide what I want because everything on the menu sounds and looks so tasty (and healthy!). One of the best things about the food here is that it is fresh. Pretty much like you live on a farm and are eating food fresh from your farm and garden right on site. When my husband and I visited Quebec, we stayed in the countryside at a condo that had its own restaurant. Our waitress told us that she lives with her boyfriend on a farm, and her face nearly exploded with sunshine when she described her eating lifestyle: fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables, fresh baked bread... you name it. I feel this way every time I eat here. Another way I know the food is fresh and organic here is because I tend to have a food allergy to some produce like avocado and strawberry. I eat these here at First Watch, and I NEVER have an allergic episode, which is a clear indication that the food they serve may be free of pesticides and/or GMOs which tend to cause allergic reactions in many people like me. Since I visit the restaurant very frequently, the waitstaff recognize my face and are always extremely friendly. The service is fast and rarely do I ever experience issues with my orders. If something is wrong with or missing from my plate, they never hesitate to correct it, and when they do, they correct it quickly. All of this being said, First Watch is of the best breakfast/lunch places I've ever experienced, hands down. I'm literally addicted. If I were to ever move away, First Watch will be one the first things I miss.

I cannot get enough of this place! This is the 3rd location I have been too. Very consistent. Food and service is excellent! By far one of my favorite go to places for breakfast!

We had a very good little breakfast. The food is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection and the atmosphere is comfortable and upbeat as well. It's an interesting looking place- you wouldn't really think it's a restaurant let alone a place that offers food but don't let that stop you from trying it. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our meal and I know it sounds sad, but that is very very hard to find these days and especially in this area. We would definitely come back.

This chain restaurant is very good. There's always a line out the door so plan to wait at least half an hour on the weekends. We went on a Saturday morning around 9:30am and we waited 40 mins. The server came immediately to ask for our drink orders. This location is kept clean and neat. The kitchen is slightly open so you can see inside. The menu is typical breakfast brunch food with some unique things like crab cakes benedict and pecan waffles. I had the bacon and onion hash with over easy eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The seasoned potatoes and Bacon mixed with melted cheddar cheese was delicious. It was overly salted or oily. Just the right amount of gluttony. It came with a side of mixed fruit and an English muffin. Also a small dish of raspberry jam. The rest of my party raved about their food as well. Good brunch place!

First Watch is the Imagine Dragons of restaurants. They are massively popular but they are not memorable. They are familiar enough to enjoy but they are missing that personality (does anyone know the lead singer of Imagine Dragons?) that makes me want to return again. I have gone here a few times because it is close to my office. They are reliable, reasonable, friendly and have healthy options. They also offer coupons through their e-mail list, so be sure to sign up. They serve breakfast and lunch all day here, so there is definitely something for everyone. I usually go for the "2 for you" because of the variety. The Reuben Sandwich and the Pecan Dijon Salad make a pretty good combo. Another good option is the BLTE (a BLT with a fried egg, breakfast joining lunch in a sandwich). Much to my surprise First Watch has a very devoted following. Be careful of your timing because this place can get very busy at peak lunch time and on the weekend.

Great place to grab breakfast if you're in the area! Even though it is a chain place the food is all very delicious and fresh, and it feels sort of local. I had the kale juice and the avocado toast for breakfast. The avocado was perfect! And the bread was toasty and soft. Even though it sounds light it was surprisingly filling. Other people at my table ordered the waffle, chicken tacos, and the hash skillet. Everyone loved their meal, it all came out quickly, and it was excellent.

Even though this is technically a 'chain restaurant', First Watch is one of the best little breakfast places I've been to. It's nice that the food is always consistent regardless of which location you go to. The Sunrise location is always extremely busy so I recommend getting there as early as possible or else the wait is usually up to an hour, sometimes more. They do have free coffee while you wait though. My favorite food items are always in the Fall. Their pumpkin pancakes are 10 of 10 on the pancake scale and you can't pass up a pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese. They also have several 'regular' breakfast items (toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) and even a special menu for those being health conscious.

If you're looking for plain bland bacon and eggs get your ass outta here, this places is popping with flavor. These people aren't your conventional breakfast, no sir they're not, this place is a plethora of deliciousness. Let's start with my favorite, the chikichanga... Hold the phone, because you're gonna wanna go in on this burrito like it were free (but it's not) The spices, the combination, the energy this little guy exudes is off the charts! Totally worth it. Carrot cake and bacon cheddar pancake.... Why the hell didn't I try this before? My mouth was indulged with so many flavors my eyes nearly popped out of my head. I'd marry these two if it were legal. I do solemnly swear to eat you and become one. YOURE GONNA LOVE IT.... Unless you're a weak breakfast consumer then get your ass out of here.

I just noticed this option to write a review for First Watch on my homepage, and my first thought was- I cannot believe that I have not written a review for this amazing establishment yet! FREE COFFEE - while you are waiting. Now that's customer service. Unlike when you go to a restaurant and you work up a tab at the bar ordering drinks while you are waiting- at FW you are treated to delicious, freshly brewed coffee while you are wait for a table. (Yes, the wait can be long on a Sunday morning- but it is definitely, definitely worth the wait! You can now use a new app on your phone "No Wait" it will tell you your initial wait time, and let you know how many people are ahead of you...) Watching what you eat? FW has plenty of menu items for you! Being prego, I am not necessarily counting calories (French Toast covered in powdered sugar please!!!), but the hubs is. First Watch offers the perfect menu for those who would like to splurge on something absolutely delicious, and for those who are watching what they eat pretty closely. Even the pancakes have healthy options - and they are full of flavor and delicious. The last visit we had the cranberry and banana nut crunch pancake. The food is made to order, and all ingredients are fresh. They are also accommodating for small children. Even though they were extremely busy, the hostess made certain that we were seated at a table that a stroller could be parked at without being disturbed (as our 2 year old was sound asleep). On visits when the LO has been awake, they have whole milk and other drink options as well as a kids menu that is perfect for picky eaters. Everyone who works here is extremely friendly, and they go out of their way to ensure that have a fantastic brunch experience.

I've been coming to this place for years and the food is consistently great. There is a very long wait on the weekends but that's pretty much a good sign.. And it's worth the wait. Super fast paced and food comes out quickly but you don't feel rushed while you're eating .. I always get the same thing; the trifecta (eggs, a waffle, and sausage links) with a side of potatoes .. Sooo good! And I mix it up with a different kind of fresh juice..last time I had a carrot and ginger one and it was great.. Overall and excellent breakfast spot. Highly recommended :)

I went there for lunch today after hearing everyone at the office rave about this place I had to try it for myself. Ordered a Baja Turkey Burger w/ house salad! And boy am I officially addicted. Everything on their menu looks fresh and healthy! I placed my order over the phone and it was ready in less than 20 minutes! I plan to try everything else now!

Excellent avocado breakfast! It doesn't get any better than fresh avocado with eggs! I had the kale and cucumber juice which was a little sweet for my taste, but all in all it was an excellent Sunday breakfast! They handle the crowds well with technology and keep you updated as to where you are on the list loved it!

I just recently discovered First Watch for lunch, thanks to Yelp of course! It's a diner type restaurant that serves healthy delicious fresh food at great prices! I love that they have a couple of daily soups always available, I love their Tomato Basil soup, it's delicious, and so far I have only tried the Monterey Club, and it's so good I am yet to try anything else because this is always my number one pick along with the Tomato Basil soup. The Club consists of Turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, Monterey Jack and mayo on served on a hearty multigrain bread. The restaurant itself has a diner look and feel, I don't feel that their look matches their food offerings. The prices are very reasonable and service is fast, and you pay at the front cashier before leaving. I would love to try the breakfast, the menu for it looks very good. I love that there are so many healthy options on the menu.

The omelets my wife and I had while visiting the area recently were dry and bland, despite the numerous ingredients that they included, including sour cream (that turned out to be, at most, a teaspoon of sour cream plopped down on top of the omelets). Our son's pancake was a giant, over-sized pancake that was, like our omelets, notably dry. The waitress was pleasant and the prices are pretty good.

Love this place! The wait time always exceeds 30 minutes but it is well worth it. This was our third visit and it will not be our last. We came on a Sunday around 11am for brunch. We usually order one entree and one carb (3 pancakes). Today we ordered the Floridian French Toast and the Acapulco Express. The pancakes are huge!! You have been warned. Two is enough to share for two people. Three can feed the most ravenous 10 year old. My favorites are the Carrot cake and the Banana Granolaa. The French toast was delicious as was the omelette. We will definitely be back to try other items.

I was skeptical when my husband first mentioned he wanted to try First Watch. However, I wasn't so hesitant after I went there. We went early on a weekend day, and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We split the harvest hash breakfast. From their website it is "Two eggs any style atop a hash of sweet potatoes, turkey sausage, house-roasted zucchini, Crimini mushrooms and shallots topped with hollandaise sauce and fresh herbs. Served with lemon-dressed greens." It was unusual, healthy, and fabulous. It was so fabulous in fact that my husband wanted me to figure out how to make it. I've tried, and it was good, but not as flavorful as theirs.

I absolutely love First Watch! If you go on a Sunday morning, prepare to wait a good 30-45 min or more for a table, but most other times, I haven't had a problem. One of my favorite things about this place is their coffee. It's delicious. They always have a hot carafe to leave at the table for refills and the coffee is always hot and fresh (With the exception of one visit where I had a "bad" cup, but it was close to closing time so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt.) The servers are always pleasant there, even when they're running around and it's super busy, which is quite often! I've always had kind and attentive servers. They have a very extensive menu with breakfast and lunch options so if you're an indecisive person, you may be better off closing your eyes and picking something. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy there, and although I haven't tried the whole menu, I think it's just one of those places where everything is good. My go-to order used to be the "chickichanga" which is a delicious breakfast chimichanga with whipped eggs, grilled chicken, chorizo, avocado, and cheese topped with their vera cruz sauce and a dollop of sour cream. It comes with a side of home fries and fresh fruit, which can be subbed out for various things if you want. Since going vegetarian about a year and a half ago, i've modified my order to a "veggiechanga" (you're welcome). I ask to swap out the chicken and chorizo for broccoli and mushrooms. They always do it no problem, and it makes my eating experience there a very enjoyable 10. I love that they are accommodating to their customers. My boyfriend and I usually always have to split a pancake on top of whatever we get. I usually end up picking a chocolate chip and banana one...adding granola is also a delicious option. I've had some others including blueberry, and they're all great, so you really can't go wrong with the pancakes. They are BIG though, so don't say I didn't warn you. My boyfriend loves their maple chicken sausage, although it is seasonal, so don't get too attached. I like how they offer rotating specials and they write them out on a big chalk board. I will try them someday, when i'm brave enough to step away from the veggiechanga. You can taste the difference when a place uses fresh ingredients, and that's something that First Watch definitely does. They also offer free coffee while you're waiting for a table, which is pretty awesome. It can get pretty pricey, especially if you're paying for more than just yourself, so just something to keep in mind. I love this place and if you haven't been, it's worth the trip! (and possibly the wait) Make sure to wear sweat pants or just be cool with leaving your top button undone...food coma commence!

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast. Service is always good, and quality of food is consistently high. Their egg dishes and pancakes are my favorites. I also like that they regularly change their specials depending on the season, and they are very creative with their food combinations. The only down side is that they get very busy, especially on Sundays, so depending on the time you get there you might have to wait around 1 hour. Be there before 9 if you want to avoid the line.

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast. They have cheddar bacon pancakes people! And do yourself the favor and try one of their hashes. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday for breakfast their will be a wait. But totally worth it. Great healthy options to choose from.

It's you, it's you, it's all for youuuu, everything I doooo... Where do I begin? After a dreadful drive from Kendall to Sunrise to pick up a pair of very expensive grooming shears I had lent an old coworker, I Yelp'ed the nearest high-rated ANYTHING to go into my tummy. Located right on Sunrise Blvd and before Flamingo, It is no surprise that First Watch is one of the most recommended brunch places in SoFlo. From the moment I walked in, I noticed their cleanliness and organization; their open-style kitchen shows all of their ingredients neatly organized along the walls like a grocery store. My friend and I were seated immediately by a pushy waiter. He asked us if we wanted coffee or water before we even got to the table, but he asked so fast we could barely here him. The place wasn't by any means packed, but this guy was rushing us to choose our meals the second we were seated. I told him it was our first time so we needed time to look at the menu, and he insisted on ordering for us! Not sure why he was trying so hard to get us in and out of there because they didn't close for another hour an a half. I'm not taking away a star for this because I honestly think we got the only weird waiter because all the other ones were very cheery and excited about their awesome menu, as well as joking around with the customers. The coffee was unlimited and our popular creamer (hazelnut) was constantly refilled. For our meals we chose to do a trifecta with the Spring Belgian Waffle. The waffle was light and fluffy, topped with their own fruity sauce, and tons of strawberries. My egg whites were delicious, but I handed off the candied bacon to my friend because I don't eat pigs. She devoured the 4 strips, though, so I'm assuming they were fabulous! We also ordered a side of potatoes, SOOO GOOD! These are home-fry style potatoes. When we ordered them, our strange waiter immediately told us "I CAN'T TAKE THE ONION OUT BECAUSE IT TAKES TOO LONG SO DON'T ORDER IT WITHOUT ONIONS" when we hadn't even asked about onions...? Really weird, lol. Anyway, this made me think we were going to get a bowl of onions and potatoes but they were just normal looking home fries with no visible onion chunks and they were DELICIOUS. Seriously, I scraped every last crispy bit out of the plate. Our bill came out to $27 for two. Can you really beat that for two waffles, two eggs, 4 bacon strips, unlimited coffee, and some orange juice? Nope! Not to mention the food wasn't greasy at all, so I felt extra health while drenching my potatoes in their pure maple syrup (WE ALL DO WEIRD THINGS OKAY)

  • Luisa C.

Any place that has real maple syrup and calorie description on their menu is a go for me. They have great options for egg dishes as well as lots of great pancake options. I made the mistake (calorie wise) to order the cranberry-nut pancake. While very good - it was not the best option calorie wise. Next time I 'll opt for the Wheat Bran or Whole Grain Pancake. Either way, it was a hit. They have seasonal special now: Pumpkin Pancake! Hells Yeah for a Birthday Breakfast!

The eggs Benedict florentine is okay. The side serving of potato hash was nicely seasoned with fresh onions. The side of fruits was okay. I am not a fan of a fruit bowl from the local Sam's Club type of facility. It would be a nicer touch to add fresh local fruits. Eggs were perfectly poached. Enjoyed the fresh avocado and raw spinach touch. However, hollandaise sauce MUST be made with butter not knock off butter. This one change in ingredient lowered my rating for this dish. The coffee lack flavor, body and such. I am not a professional coffee drinker but I know good coffee when I see it. Serve was quick, clean and efficient.

My new favorite place! Had the eggs Benedict ... Florentine which came with fresh spinach, tomato, avocado and perfectly poached eggs. The hollandaise sauce was scrumptious. Service was on point. They get rather busy, but our wait wasn't bad and they has free coffee to keep you happy. Can't wait to go back!

Yum! I found First Watch on Yelp when I was checking out places to grab a bite after soon outlet mall shopping. I'm glad I stopped in. The menu is packed full of breakfast and brunch items that I can't wait to try on a repeat visit. This time I tried the cherry chicken quinoa bowl that was a bed of evenly cooked quinoa with chicken, dried cherries, goat cheese, zucchini, and almond slivers. It was very very good. My husband had the club sandwich with a side of tomato soup. He was pleased with the taste and size of the soup and sandwich. As a special treat for our first visit we were offered a complimentary fruit crepe which comes with housemade granola and a drizzle of yogurt. Man was that thing tasty!! They had a nice selection of omelettes, sandwiches, bacon-cheddar pankcakes (what!? that sounds awesome) and another version of the quinoa bowl that I would love to try. Our wait was only about 5 minutes and our server was attentive and kept our drinks re-filled.

So the BLT eggs benedict was great but wayyyy too much argular and the sauce was very acidic few small issues: The server was giving me some bizarre lecture on energy drinks... we didnt order energy drinks two i stated i was very allergic to fruit ( most but not all) .. fruit in my water, and on my plate....he never asked what kind nor did he pay attention had to flag him down for service after that my uncle loves this place but the waiter was really the negative I was eager for him to leave , he was super attentive though to the point of being annoying not to be mean but the food alone would have gotten an amazing review. i was told it was that server though that this was the first weird adn awkward meal they have had there

Delicious and healthy - I'm in! When my wife suggested that we drive about 30 minutes for brunch, when I was starving and had a cranky baby in the car I certainly was not the least bit interested. I asked if I had ever been to this place before, and the answer was yes- but I did not have any recollection - for if I did, I would have just kept quiet and waited in anticipation for a fantazmic brunch experience that only the health conscious can appreciate. What other restaurant offers you free coffee while you wait? Sure- if you imbibe on the free coffee while waiting 20-30 minutes for brunch, chances are that you are going to order coffee (that has free refills) and thus you are actually paying for it in a roundabout way, however- it is completely the thought that counts. And seeing those carafes full of coffee completely out in the open and available for immediate satisfaction of coffee/caffeine addiction- SOLD! IF the promise of coffee available for immediate consumption isn't enough for you, the menu offers everything for the health foodie - to the brunch junkie. A range of protein packed options aside french toast and pancakes! There is something for everyone on this menu. I had eggs, the wife had banana walnut wheat germ pancakes (a healthy spin on a deliciously unhealthy treat)... and the little one had a grilled cheese sandwich. All the meals were delicious. Extra turkey sausage was ordered. In addition to delicious food, the service was fantastic. The hostess noticed right away that we had a sleeping baby in a carriage and sat us in a location that the carriage easily fit right into without being in the way of anyone. In addition, she suggested that if he woke up, that there were highchairs available. The waitress was just as nice. Immediately brought us our own carafe of fresh coffee and appropriately assessed when we were ready to place our order. The waitress was attentive and available when extra napkins, milk, fruit, etc. etc. were needed once the baby did wake up. Also- every parent appreciates smiles and friendliness towards their kid, and the waitress was sure to send smiles his way. The place is clean. (Restrooms included)... and totally worth the drive, and the wait!~

I came here a few weeks ago after desperately looking for breakfast. The place is in a shopping plaza and due to its name and logo design; looks more like a insurance place if you quickly pass by. I found the place to be very clean and not too busy. The prices are high but the food-particularly the large pancake is very good. I did not like my eggs; but that was because I ordered them incorrectly. I might go back if I am in the mood for pancakes, but the prices might keep me away.

  • Nini H.

The wait is ridiculous here...but the food is amazing and quick! The pancakes are LARGE and fluffy! Its a lot, enough to share. I had a chicken Chickicanga - wow. Top favorite breakfast gorge in my book. It's difficult to describe how delicious this massive burrito tastes - So many flavors. Needless to say, I was very full and satisfied! Family restaurant. Kids.

If you are looking for a fresh, but not skimp brunch spot, do not hesitate on First Watch! Nestled inside a semi-busi strip mall location off Sunrise Blvd, First Watch deserves to expand. The place is as big as an IHOP Express location, with that said, the seating is somewhat limited. This place usually draws in high crowds, especially during mid to late weekend mornings. Do not worry, they are pretty efficient on getting people in. I ordered the breakfast Chickichanga, which was a fresh mix of whipped eggs with spicy all-natural white-meat chicken, chorizo sausage, green chilies, cheddar and monterey jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. I liked the Vera Cruz sauce and sour cream that topped the chimichanga. Along with the meal, it was served with fresh fruit and fresh, season potatoes. This meal did not disappoint. It was hearty and filled me up until dinner. My wife opted for the Eggs Benedict with ham and tomatoes. I loved the ham used, as it was more of a Virginia-based thin slice as opposed to the traditional Canadian Bacon. The hollandaise sauce was excellent as well. All meals were accompanied with fresh squeezed all natural Florida Orange Juice. The drinks and food were both top notch, and did not take long to serve. My only gripe is the coffee selection. Usually after a big meal, an expresso or Cuban Coffee would do, however they did not offer either. This place is typical American flare, and American coffee was offered. Im not big on that stuff, as compared to Cuban Coffee, might as well drink water. In all, this may be my default breakfast spot for standard fresh breakfast food.

Delicious breakfast spot! BF and went there a couple of weekends ago and lingered over the coffee, pancakes and eggs and bacon. Very healthy portions. A smidge of a wait, but not a big deal. They had newspapers and it was nice to just relax and enjoy the morning. A solid choice.

Great breakfast place! Fresh ingredients and they don't buckle and dime you when you want just egg whites or fruit/salad instead of all the potatoes/bread... Good healthy options! Veggie omelette was tasty with zucchini broccoli tomatoes onions mushrooms n cheese :) coffee was fresh!

  • Anyelina L.

My boyfriend and I ordered sandwiches and both were very small. We said "is this a joke?". Seriously, the size of this whole sandwich is the size of half sandwich in other restaurants. The prices are expensive considering the small portions and we think it's not worth it to come back. There are other good restaurants nearby with delicious food with decent amount of portions and even less expensive. Also, they don't offer real squeezed orange juice, but the one that come prepared from a bottle or box. Very disappointed.

Healthy Breakfast at First Watch is what everyone seems to be raving about, so I had to check it out. My first Try was in the Orlando location and thought it was great, time to check out the one in Sunrise. It's in a Strip mall with HomeGoods and a Furniture store. You can't miss seeing all the people waiting outside in line waiting to be seated. The wait time was 40 minutes, and there is Complimentary coffee while you wait so that was good, and time to do some window shopping in the nearby stores. The restaurant is like a Tommy Bahama Florida feel in the interior. They have a Blackboard with the Specials written on it as well as a paper menu with the Specials. The waitress was very friendly and not rushed even though she was swamped. Pitcher of water and carafe of coffee is brought out to the table, one of the things I love about First Watch. You don't need to wait for refills. They also have those flavoured creamers on the table. My man got the Tri-fecta : It's Two eggs any style with either a belgian waffle or a multigrain pancake he got the Multigrain with Cranberry and Banana, plus your choice of bacon, turkey sausage or sausage link ($7.59) He had to order an extra serving of Toast to be full. Its a good basic breakfast, the Pancake however was soo yummy. I love the crispy crust, not mushy at all! Light and fluffy on the inside I really enjoyed this pancake with Granola and had fresh banana pieces and dries cranberries in it, a little on the sweet side but perfect no need for much Maple Syrup. The bits of rolled oats are yummy. The maple syrup on the table was pretty good too, no Aunt Jamima Yessss! I'm Canadian so we like the Real Stuff. I got the Healthy Turkey : It's an Egg white omelet with sliced turkey breast roasted onions, tomatoes, spinach and feta, served with a Dry English muffin-(the way I normally order it!), and tomatoes on the side, I subbed the home potatoes and there was no charge. It was good not greasy at all, but I was hungry after my breakfast. I think First Watch is a great place for healthy meals, nothing special just not greasy. The Pancakes are a must to try! I've had the plain wholegrain granola pancake and now the wholegrain Granola banana-cranberry pancake and both are awesome and Delish.

Healthy, Healthy, Healthy If you don't like to eat healthy steer clear of this place. What I like is that they serve both breakfast and lunch. I ordered their new veggie/goat cheese/Quinoa bowl--was very good. I added some hot sauce, as I do with a number of things, b/c it was a little dry but that's to be expected. My friend got eggs, bacon, and toast. done and done! easy peasy!

Great healthy brunch spot, it's gotten toooo popular though and now they are always full and rush you in and out of there so that they can get in more people.... dont go there trying to enjoy a nice relaxing breakfast the servers will bring your check almost with the food so get ready for the quick walkin' drive-through basically, I'm tacking a strart because of that, food is great though.

Great breakfast options. Complete menu of healthy options. Great Coffee. Good service. Long wait....till now... During one of my recent trips there, the staff suggested I download the app No Wait to reserve a table from home. Last time I was going, I used the app, walked in and was sat at my table within seconds! Don't leave home without reserving on No Wait! You'll be glad you did :)

I love this place. It's always my first pick for weekend breakfast/brunch. I'm a creature of habit, so I always get the market hash with sunny side up eggs and multigrain toast. I usually go in a small group so I've tried many other dishes, all delicious. I used to be obsessed with the trifecta before I became vegetarian! Lots of delicious and healthy options to please everyone. And the staff is beyond nice! Always friendly and eager to please. The weekends at noon are really busy, but just get your name on the list (they are really accurate with the wait times) and browse the nearby shops until it's almost time for you to get seated. I always end up buying something in Home Goods or Ross! All in all this is a great place to enjoy a good meal and interact with wonderful people :)

Seriously my new favorite breakfast spot EVER! Found this place a month ago, and now EVERY sunday me and my boyfriend eat here, we cant get enough! The food is always freshly made and hot when you receive it to your table, and all the ingredients are fresh. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is the wait to get a table can be a bit long. One time i waited 45 minutes for a party of 2. Besides that, incredible and a deff must try !

I am from Cleveland, so First Watch is not new to me. I was exposed to the one up there by my best friends mother. I tried the Greek omelet which is good, but my ultimate favorite is the Floridian French toast. It's a wheat germ French toast topped with fresh kewi, bananas and strawberries. I don't suggest dinning in only because it is always busy on the weekends. The only con about this place is that it closes at 2pm. I rather pick First Watch over and breakfast restaurant.

Not our typical breakfast spot, but we wanted to try a new place. We did have a blonde waitress however not sure if she is the same as mentioned in the other reviews. She was not mean but she wasn't the friendliest either. The food came out rather quick and it was delicious. The Belgian waffle was fluffy and hot, the seasoned potatoes were yummy and the eggs and bacon were good as well. We will return not only for the delicious food but also for the infamous "blonde" waitress ;)

I really enjoyed this brunch with husband and parents. I've gone maybe three times so far and good has always been superb. So why the 4 stars?... you're probably thinking... Well I must say the only cons is the extremely long wait time to be seated and lack of seats for guests to wait for their seats. So basically be prepared to stand for 20+ minutes while you're waiting to eat the delicious food. Also what made the 4 versus 5 stars is one experience I had with my husband and mother. We took my mother for her birthday and our waitress was horrible (e.g., forgetting to ask us for drinks, not coming around our table at all, having slight attitude, etc.) I had to apologize to my mother that time especially because it was her birthday....well at least we enjoyed the food!!!:)

Great service, great options, and great value of food. I was delighted to find out about a First Watch location near where I work (having moved here from the northeast where they have more locations). The quality is the same, if not better than the northeast locations. Everything from free coffee while you wait to menu selections is pretty consistent. The tri-athelete, and the veg'd out are our favorites, but other options look good as well....for egg eating vegetarians, plenty of options! My only con (and it is a huge con!) is that for a breakfast place, they do not offer espresso! Come on First Watch, you need to at least start offering a stronger selection of various coffees (mine was watered down during my visit). However this doesn't warrant a 1 star deduction.

Thanks to Yelp for the suggestion. So glad we tried this place. Breakfast was great! Had the Chikichanga which is a breakfast version of a Mexican chimichanga. It was great. Came with potatoes (which were great) and fresh fruit. Free good coffee while you wait to be seated. Service was fast and friendly, and although packed you never felt stressed.
