Just ate here for the first time. Hands down beats all the other Asian buffets in Broward County. Food is fresh and delicious, selection is amazing, and a good value for the price. Try it, you will like it.

For the first time I was like WOW. It was definitely "East to West" Buffet because of many variety of foods. One thing that impressed me was how clean the staff was and I was totally surprised with the restrooms too(it was like you were in 5-star hotel). The price was good as long as you eat with respected amount. The seafood was delicious & fresh but sushi was very limited... overall I did enjoy it and you should go there it's well worth of visit with a group of friends and/or family. Cheers!

Not good. Not at all. I can't believe the inconsistency of these reviews due to how poor my entire experience was here. $14.99 per person for dinner buffet, and it was advertised that lobster was included. Well, the only "lobster" dish was the joints--no tails or claws even. And it was covered in a ginger sauce of a weird consistency. Then there were no crackers for shell anywhere to be found, so I had to ask my "server" twice to them and got an irritated look each time. Once I was able to crack the "lobster" there was no meat to be found. BESIDES the lobster debacle....food was mediocre at best. The best part for me were the eat-and-peel shrimp since that's hard to screw up. I saw the sushi....but wasn't willing to take the risk based on the appearance and after having tried a raw clam that didn't taste too fresh. Lo mein, general tsos, sautéed green beans etc were all just meh. Service wasn't good with the exception of the young girl that greeted and seated us (maybe 12 years old and super sweet). In fact, she was better than the grown man who was supposedly taking care of our section. Although I'm not from around here, I certainly would not be back if given the chance. They need to focus on quality food and quality service.

Great buffet. I've been there many times and with different people every time. They are just so great I just have to invite people. There are a lot of choices to choose from. Waiters are really nice. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant is really clean and friendly.

Not bad. As stated in a previous review, the Chef has tried to make as many rolls has he can with imitation crab. It's kinda funny. The rolls were good. No actual sushi, just rolls. Lots of other choices on the Asian side. The reason I came here was a food inspector let me know that he would eat here because it's clean. When it comes down to sushi buffets isn't that one of the main deal breakers?? I will be back.

Good fresh sushi rolls with a lot of variety. Some steam table items sit too long. Very clean and nice decor.

This buffet was not up to my standards. The soup was cold and tasteless. The shrimp were chewy and not good flavor. I've had better. Not worth the price even with a coupon.

Just got back from a Saturday seafood fest everything was fresh, the cold food was cold, the hot food was hot, had frog legs for the first time and loved them. All the staff was friendly and attentive

I was hoping for better here. It's a new place, opening approximately 11/2014. Looks nice and clean and the very limited sushi was good, not great. The Chinese buffet was a bit sparse and they didn't replace items quickly. I even asked about the chocolate ice cream, because it was empty. I was told they were not putting any more that day. It was only about 7:00pm on a Tuesday! No one eating after that could have chocolate ice cream? That's only one that asked about. Many of the hot dishes were empty too and no one seemed to be replacing them. So, go early or you'll surely be disappointed by missing something. I will not be coming back.

Buffet opened 3weeks ago. Bright and clean and nicely decorated. There was a large selection of tasty foods. I especially liked the spare ribs, crab legs, oysters, sushi and coconut ice cream. The service was good and the price was very reasonable. Be careful around the buffet. Floors are very SLIPPERY!!!

This place has the most choices of food that I have ever seen on a buffet, the food was fresh & hot.. Staff friendly.. On the weekends they have crab legs and lobster and it's only 16.00 for dinner, 9:00 for lunch. Can't beat that..

Sushi Buffet... Lighter selection on the typical Chinese buffet selection (fried foods). Decent desserts and salad bar for the price. Mid-week lunch for two adults cost $22.85 w/o tip. Disappointed there was no won ton soup in any of the four/five soup containers. They did offer egg drop though. Waiter server was prompt when clearing the table. Please watch your step at the buffet area. Really slippery! Two stars:-( this is not a place I would intentionally go back to.

Revised review. When i was there a week ago, they advertised special menu for Chinese New Year.I inquired about pricing.Woman manager said sane $12.99 for dinner. When i rec,d the check, it said $14.99 I inquired.Manager said on door it says $14.99Well who looks on the door.Prices at register says $12.99 The special menu was just horrible. Two dishes of white soft balls stuffed with meatballs, a lambchop dish which was unchewable and blue crab which is normally on the menu. The crab legs which were quality last time were low quality. They looked worn out and discolored. It was a total rip off.My friends and I will no longer be goung back.Stupid manager does not know how to please customers They would rather lose customers. This buffet will soon go the way of all chinese buffets. What was once in my opinion quality is now pure garbage in less than one month. By the way.....on the prices, I told the manager, i would file a report with the BBB. He seemed to be unfazed Wild horses couldn,t drag me back to this dive.

Just two words: Stay away!!! We did not intend to eat here. We were on our way to Toa Toa and found it closed for summer vacation. So we decided to go to the closest place in the shopping plaza and that was East West Buffet. What a mistake! The buffet is divided into several different areas including appetizers, hot Chinese dishes, sushi, salad bar, and dessert bar. The sushi section is not large. I have to give the sushi chefs credit. They have thought of more ways to make rolls out of fake crab than I ever thought possible! You could barely find any fresh fish and I think if I did I would be afraid to eat it. The hot food section is not large either. I did not even bother to take pictures of the food because it looked so horrible. The only thing I did try from this section was the lobster. Funny, there were signs all around promoting this special lobster night and that you could only take one portion at a time. Well I'm not sure which part of the lobster this was (certainly not the tail or claw), because it was inedible. If you look around at this restaurant you will notice all the signs that preach caution and discretion: do not waste rice, do not take more food than you can eat, control your children. If this restaurant was more concerned about the quality of their food instead of customers wasting it, than maybe they would have a decent restaurant. The salad bar was the largest section of the buffet. I found this to be unusual for an Asian buffet. I gave the salad bar a cursory glance but really did not find anything worth eating there. So what did I find to eat? The only items I found to be edible were in the appetizer section: the soup and the dumplings. They did have a nice variety of soups and I had a Seafood Soup that was okay. The pork and lobster dumplings were tasty. That is why I have generously given East West Buffet an extra star. I also did have some banana chunks dipped in chocolate from the dessert bar. The dessert bar was big but nothing really stood out except the chocolate fountain. Service was abysmal. How can service be bad at a buffet when all that has to be done is fill drinks and clear plates? Well, our glasses were always empty and any dirty dishes we had were left on the table for the entire meal. My 11 year old hated the food so much he did not eat at all. Wise choice.

Yes this place is brand new. Extremely poorly staffed. The food is adequate. Supply is sparse though. Crab legs and oysters were replenished only once in the hour and 15 minutes while we were there. 3 minutes later it was laid bare again. There is no sashimi, and the sushi was mostly empty dishes, one or two pieces on display. Service is spread so thin that it's almost non existent. While the price is more than competitive, the lack of the whole experience will not bring us back. I'd rather pay the few bucks more.

As far as sushi goes there weren't many options. They only had some of the sushi options that they actually carry . If you want sashimi..they didn't have any. The crab legs weren't very plentiful. I got there at 7:00 pm and they never refilled any of the items. However i still gave them a three because they have alot of american hot food items. That were really good. Also the host and servers are soooo great. I wasnt happy about the sushi but the wait staff and other food was good enough that i didnt mind. This buffet should be viewed more as an american buffet with some sushi , than a sushi buffet with some hot foods.

everything is extremely mediocre. from the food to the ambiance to the desserts. The only lobster offered was in a ball dumpling form which was a 3/10 and in a ginger sauce which was 6/10. The crab legs 8/10. The length of our visit sushi was empty and wasn't replenished at all the few pieces I had were horrid. I don't recommend this restaurant at ALL.

I have been here a couple times- this will be the LAST- food was bad- selections are minimum- soups are not kept hot - fried foods are cold and greasy- crab legs ok- oysters seemed slimy tonight and empty- we did the hibachi or else we would have nothing to eat- too many other buffets In the area- service was basically NONE- beg for a straw and stack used plates on table next to ours- sushi was scary - not sure if the temp is cold enough to make it safe- even the rice is terrible - crab rangoons were good! not worth the money - will go back to kings or china buffett around the corner!

Go there frequently but unless you go on a Friday Saturday or Sunday, you will get colds food. We were there Saturday and everything was cold and needed to be replaced. Many bins were missing food. Told person at main door but only looked at us as if we were making up a story. Also the use to give out a discount to Kings Point Residents but they stopped doing it. Go to China Buffet in sunrise, cheaper and hot food.

This was our first time there and we thought we would check it out since they are local. The food was bland and not very hot. Wasn't really impressed with their selection. The sushi wasn't marked so I had no idea what kind they were and when I asked they didn't seem to know much either. Disappointing to say the least. The only thing that was good was the desert but that's hard to screw up. Prices were a little high for the food I actually ate and this will probably be our last time there. Hopefully they change some things to make it better and maybe we will give it a second chance in the future. Much to improve.

It's your typical Chinese buffet, but cleaner! The stir fry station is plentiful and delicious! They have a chocolate fondue tower, yum. The selection there is good and exactly what you would expect. The winner over here is that they have the cleanest raw oysters I've seen. That right there is a home run for me.

Place is very clean, the food was delicious, server was super nice. Everything was good here ,I think this is the best buffet in town don't know why some people left bad review for this place.

Good for the price. Well kept, caring staff. The shrimp could be bigger and firmer. The coolest thing is the chocolate fountain but it needs to be monitored more closely as the serving spoon gets really messy and unusable.

Best wonton soup for miles, cheap beyond belief, and so close to my house I could order by shouting from my front door

Worth the $9 on a Saturday lunch but the rice isn't great and the sushi isn't labeled. They have the best general tsao chicken I ever ate and their dessert bar is enough for my $9 im sad I didn't have room for hibachi but was content. You can't beet the price for their selection this could be a new saturday spot

Really mediocre at best. Sushi was ok, nothing special. Hot food was mostly cold and not memorable. The boneless spare ribs were not tender, garlic green beans werent cooked enough, and the spicy fries could have been good if they hadnt tasted old and cold as examples. The best I could say is it was edible. There were a lot of dessert choices so I tried the flan. Sorry-it had no flavor. I just couldnt go back not when you have a place like Koizumi which puts this place to shame.
