Nice! I came here to get some take out for myself and a co worker, I did not know what to expect as I am not too familiar with the area and the restaurant is in a small shopping plaza. Upon entering I was impressed, let me explain, from the small amount of Bahamian restaurants in South Florida - I have never really gotten the vibe of a sit down type restaurant (more like to go and if anything we got seats) but this placeeee is very nicely decorated with Bahamian colors, has a bar that you can sit at with a TV behind it, the dining room is not huge but has plenty of space with two TV's on the wall and the the place was clean (spotless). I could really see myself coming here on the weekend and enjoying a great meal without doing take out! The staff was extremely friendly and chatted with me a little, I learned that this place was only opened about 7-8 months ago! The food was great, I had the cracked lobster and cracked conch. Both were well seasoned, fresh, not chewy and it was beated just right. The combos come with peas and rice (which was steaming hot and nicely flavored) and your selection of two sides which I choose Mac and Cheese and Potato Salad. The Mac and Cheese was gooddddd (and I don't really like cheese) I can't put my finger on what they added to it... Possibly scotch bonnet pepper but it had a great little kick to it. The Potato Salad was also great but more in line to what it have tasted at other places. Would I return - Yes. As the other reviews have noted, the food is good but I also want to point out that the customer service is good and you are able to actually sit here and enjoy your meal! Check these guys out if your into great seafood and authentic Bahamian flavors!

One waitress in the entire restaurant and we were the only customer. We ended up waiting nearly an hour for our food and it wasn't fulfilling. I came here only because I didn't want to drive to Conch Heaven in Miami. I will not return. We ordered a conch salad (bland), 2 conch and fries lunch special (which you have to sit inside to enjoy), and a pork chop sandwich.

I had the pleasure of eating here last night and boy was the food amazing. I enjoyed the cracked conch and my wife the grouper fingers dinner. We had a choice of two sides with the meal plus rice and peas. The serving size doesn't disappoint. Tasteful food, very nice staff, great place to enjoy authentic Bahamian food. Food was so good that were are headed there now for breakfast, Cornbeef and grits.

Don't eat here, avoid the stomachache and long wait. I ordered my food and was told only a 15-20 minute wait for my meal. Okay, not bad. I left and wait to the bank up the street and came back. About 15 minutes killed. Now 40 minutes in total pass by and every time I make eye contact with the hostess she sticks her finger up to motion 1 minute, 1 minute. I got the finger three times! During my stay of waiting I noticed a few customers walk in and out because that same hostess failed to greet them since she was doing God knows what in the back. Very unorganized business. Now after this wait I was so excited to get my mouth on this stuff! I caught food poisoning from their conch and rice and peas! Don't eat here!

A friend told me about the "Reef" as I call them, and boy am I ever grateful! I had the steam conch, stew conch, crack conch, conch fritters, conch burger, macaroni, and my favorite peas and rice. Yes, I LOVE CONCH! I plan trying everything on the menu, because I haven't had a complaint yet. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel like your family. The price is right and the food is far from greasy or overly salty as I have experienced from other restaurants I have frequented in the past who are not worth mentioning. Do your self a favor walk in, order and have a drink, and when your food arrives close your eyes and take a bite. That is a vacation to the bahamas with no passport needed!! Great authentic tasty Bahamian food!!! I have eaten here several times since relocating to South Florida, both take-out and restaurant meals, Even though this US location has only been open for a short time, the owners are Bahamian family members with years of restaurant success in the Bahamas and they are all so friendly. Have to take the long way home sometimes because it is hard to drive pass this place on NW 44th without wanting to stop in for the delicious cracked conch, baked macaroni, crab in peas-n-rice, and potato salad. Many more dishes on the menu. Food so good hungry again just thinking of my last meal !!! Have to go back again today.

I've never been here before, I looked them up on yelp and went off the reviews... my experience was horrible, they took long to greet and hardly anyone was in there. Then I had no clue what to eat, cause they didn't have much on the menu, so I told the girl this is my first time here, I'm not sure what to get, so I started asking questions about the food and it was like she was giving me this crazy look like i should know these answers. So since she didn't give me any suggestions I saw that they had curry chicken, so I figured I'll ask if they had oxtail, maybe there was stuff missing off the menu. Then she said that's Jamaican food, but yet they have curry chicken. There's alot of Caribbean places that eat some of the same foods. Anyways I was disappointed. I also think that they should taste their food before serving it to customers. I think the main customers they get are from the high school beside them. I give them no stars, but I'm forced too, lol

Unfortunately I called in a steam fish with vegetables. I asked if it was fillet and I was told yes. When I received my food I got 5, in my opinion, previously frozen grouper pieces and vegetable medley (broccoli, califlower and carrots) and was charged $15 . NEVER AGAIN! This is very unfortunate because I support my Caribbean restaurants in the area but not when it gouges it's community. I even expressed my disappointment to the young lady and she didn't even address my concerns. I told her I would never come back and she seemed quite OK with that. These other reviews must be family and friends of the owners. I usually don't write reviews however due to the lack of concern for a customer, the only customer for 35 mins at lunch time, I felt obligated to share my experience as I would not like for anyone else to go through a similar experience. Ciao!

I've tried here twice, food was good. However they only give you a little bit Of food. First time I had chicken n da bag dark meat I got one piece of leg quarter and a hand full of fries. This pass weekend I decided to go back and get white meat which wasn't much of a difference. I like it here but for $7 this portion size is Ridiculous! They know if this was in the Bahamas they couldn't try that. I probably won't go back.

This place was fantastic. It started out a bit sketchy...when we pulled up there wasn't a soul inside...not usually a good sign for a restaurant. Once inside the place was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. The waitress was very friendly and just...fun...it's nice when your server is someone you can joke around with. She recommended conch. There were 4 of us and we all tried the cracked conch. Various sides amongst the 4 of us were plantains, fries, rice and peas, white rice and coleslaw. Let me be succinct...there wasn't an ounce of food left on our plates by the end of our meal. It was absolutely delicious!! Naturally we washed our food down with a couple of Sands beers. Side note...they were out of plantains when we first ordered. The cook came out of the back and said he was going to make sure we got some plantains. We waited a little longer for our food but I'm guessing he called someone and they brought him some that he could prepare. Glad he did - they were GREAT. Thank you. Prices were very reasonable. Check this place out - it's new and deserves a look!!!
