Brie, blue cheese, bacon, caramelized onion as a grilled cheese. Tastes 1000 times better than it reads. Fantastic spot for anything grilled cheese. Lady taking order is the reason for less stars. Perhaps she was having a bad two day stretch but amazingly unfriendly for such a pleasant surrounding population.

Was so excited to try this place after reading all of the great reviews however was so disappointed. Bread was way too toasted, almost burnt. Got 2 sandwiches and both were just the same, even the kids grilled cheese!?!!? Not sure if this was typical but not a fan! Lastly, there was NO line - was that my missed sign?

  • Shrader G.

Very good grilled cheese sandwiches. Slightly pricey, but you are in seaside so it's to be expected. I got the smoked Gouda and Ham sandwich. If I were to go back again I would probably do the classic grilled cheese because they seemed to have more of those ready quicker.

First of all, I'd like to thank the Meltdown for introducing me to bacon jam. Believe it or not, prior to last summer I did not know that was a thing! The BAC (bacon jam, avocado and cheese) put an end to this ignorance. Dripping with cheese, loaded with bacon jam (a savory slightly sweet alternative to plain old bacon slices) and augmented with fresh avocado slices, this sandwich is delish! Add a cold soda and some spicy habanero chips and you've got yourself a lunch you'll dream about all year. When I got home, I immediately set about making my own bacon jam and when it was a success I passed out jars as favors to the guests at my Christmas party. The influence of this humble grilled cheese airstream reaches far! If you are in the Seaside area, visiting "Airstream Row" as I call it simply must be done. Unless you're with a weirdo who doesn't like cheese, there is something on the menu for everyone. And...they recently started serving breakfast! Reason enough to begin planning your next trip to the area today!

Omg, grilled cheese served from a mostly windowless van? Yes, please! We ordered the special: provolone, tomato, arugula, bacon and ham (and maybe one cheese in there I'm forgetting?) on texas toast. Amazeballs. I had a hard time deciding because there were so many tasty options on the menu. I will definitely be back to try more of them. Each sandwich is between $6 and $9, and totally worth it!

In the mood for the best sandwich in seaside? Then you have found the right place. The Meltdown is a great addition to 30A and I love it. They serve the best grilled cheeses I have ever had. The thing that I love about the meltdown is it is not you everyday bread with nasty cheese, they have all different types and ingredients to choose from. My personal favorite is the grilled goat cheese sandwich. It has goat cheese, which makes everything better, arugula, and prosciutto. It is a definite must try. I loved their fresh tomato soup too. It was a great pair with my goat cheese sandwich!

Do not leave 30-A without eating a Meatloaf Melt!! So great - and prices are not bad!

    (5)
  • David R.

Sandwich was average at best not worth the price . I had the goat cheese with strawberry jam and brother had the pimento cheese and it was fair. They also were out of some stuff. Try any other place way to expensive for the little sandwich.

I am a grilled cheese fanatic. So when I heard about this place, I couldn't wait to try it. It is located on "food truck row" as I have deemed it, in downtown Seaside. My husband chose to try Barefoot BBQ (which he said was great and we're from Memphis, so we're BBQ snobs). So I got the Smokin' Turkey sandwich - which has pepper jack cheese, smoked turkey, bacon, avocado and Albuquerque sauce (spicy ranch). I was not disappointed. It was SO good. I ate the entire thing and was not one bit sorry. I was really determined to try their breakfast and we were able to get it the morning we left to come home. My husband got the Bacon Jam biscuit and he said it was delicious. I tried the Pimento Cheese biscuit which has pimento cheese, bacon, scrambled eggs and strawberry preserves. It was a pretty messy thing to try to eat, but that didn't stop me. It was so good. This place is a must try when visiting Seaside!

Terrific sandwich melts. I had the Cuban and my wife the meatloaf. Both served on perfectly toasted thick cuts of bread with good portions of melted cheese. There are tables in the area where you can enjoy your sandwich and people watch. Great for lunch or a lighter evening meal.

I have been dreaming of nothing but Bacon JELLY since my summer vacation to Seaside. BACON JELLY!! Swoon. This little food truck has super yummy food for pretty reasonable touristy prices. My beau had the typical boring grilled cheese (our story: picky eater meets foodie) but I opted for the more adventurous Bacon Avocado Cheddar (B.A.C.) grilled cheese. I was so happy with my choice. My sandwich was big, hot, and fresh with plenty of bacon jelly to spare. I was the envy of my table and of course, now future me who wishes she could go back in time and re-live it all over again.

  • Kate B.

Food is delicious! Their bacon jam is the jam and their biscuits are top notch. I will say that both times I have visited the staff has been less than friendly, like so much so that I was afraid to even order. I feel that part of being in the service industry is being friendly. Even a smile can go a long way in someone's day.

    (4)
  • Jami W.

I must have picked an off day, but my pimento grilled cheese was a joke. Barely any cheese on the sandwich! Not to mention the guy that waited on me was unfriendly. Bottom line, the permanent "food trucks" in Seaside are a huge disappointment!

  • Randy C.

What's not to like about an Air Stream serving great grilled cheese sandwiches? Only the price! A little over priced but we all enjoyed it anyway. Great place to stop in and have a quick sandwich after a long bike ride through Sea Side.

  • Anthony L.

I'm a grilled cheese connoisseur, this place brought a smile out. A little bit pricey for 2 people to eat grilled cheeses. Spent $20 for my wife and I for 2 sandwiches, 1 bag of chips, and 1 bottle of soda. The sandwiches were delicious though. I got the Smokin Turkey which was delicious. My wife got the mozzarella and tomato which she siphoned. This place is only missing the personality behind the idea. If you walk into a Tom & Chee Grilled Cheesed Restaurant, you will get the vibe that you're in a really cool place. That's what the Meltdown on 30A needs to accompany their delicious food!!

  • Meghan H.

Highly recommend this place! They serve up some pretty swicked (sweet+wicked...) grilled cheeses. Fantastically cheesy. I don't forecast many "melt downs" at this place - I suspect anyone who eats something from here will be quite glad they did....I know, so cheesy...

    (4)
  • Adam S.

Good grilled cheese sandwiches; nothing overwhelmingly special though. They could do better by using more customized bread.

I have been dying to come here seeing as cheese is my favorite food group. We got in line behind about a dozen people and waited our turn, the anticipation was over the top...finally ordered our grilled cheese masterpieces and a pink lemonade. Paid $20 and some change plus tip, got our drinks, grabbed one of the little tables set up under a nice shady tree, then we waited, and waited and yup we waited some more. Took 20 minutes to get our food, our lemonade was already gone! I had the Three Cheese (cheddar, gruyere, gouda) and my friend the Brie and Bacon on Cranberry Walnut Bread. We were both very pleased with our grilled cheeses. Mine on Texas Toast and perfectly oozy and crunchy. His, unique to say the least...he loved it! We ordered nothing else but they had chips, soup and beer available...no french fries though :( This is comfort food people, and if I have to wait too long and pay too much much I will! Really the place isn't perfect but the concept is cool, the food is fun and it' located in a great area. I feel like I'm on vacation when I hang out here, and I like that a lot!

  • Laura A.

This place is great. A little $$ but worth it. Friendly staff. Great dill pickle chips. We had the Cuban. it was very good. We got another sandwich but I can't remember what it was but it was our favorite. Delicious and gourmet toppings! HUGE servings, split with a friend!

    (5)
  • Niki W.

Yum!!! We each had a different sandwich and they were all outstanding - I had the duxelle one, son the traditional, and my husband had one with goat cheese and arugula and could not have been happier. We also shared a bag of the hottest chips I have ever eaten...Mama Zuma's Revenge! The lady at the window could be a little friendlier, but it's a food truck, not your mama's house!

    (4)
  • Ruth C.

Large, plush slices of Texas toast with enough butter to grease a door hinge. Sandwiches cut into two triangles. They were all out of arugula, but my heart had been set on goat cheese and prosciutto so they acquiesced to my request for a basil substitution. Perhaps not the wisest choice. Tomato cut through the richness from the crisped bits of prosciutto, but the goat cheese wasn't really ideal for a grilled cheese sammy. The three cheese on the other hand? Baller. Cheddar dominated, but the gouda and gruyere were excellent supporting actors. Big Cheese of DC, take note: every bite oozed cheese, and the layered melty goodness was apparent to taste and vision with every bite. I'd gladly come back for the three cheese, and maybe try their tomato soup side to dip it in.

  • S M.

Doesn't matter how good the food was. It took forever to get it. This is not a fine steak -- IT'S GRILLED CHEESE! Not cool.

  • Nicole M.

I've been here twice and each time I've left happy. Grilled cheese is my go to food for when I'm tired and don't know what to eat. So to have this conveniently located in Seaside in the food truck area is just perfect. I've tried the classic, mushroom and my husband had the turkey. All were tasty!

  • James B.

OK,OK,OK.. First, let e state the obvious.. This place ROCKS my SOX OFF! Grilled Cheese sandwiches, with ample Meat Loaf!! Man, to DIE for! And the Tomato soup, was very, very flavorful. If you are in Destin, come here, if you are in Seaside, come here, if you are Looking for a GREAT Grilled Cheese sandwich, COME HERE!! Prices were very affordable. Food quality, is SUPERB!! Flavors, HEAVENLY!! EAT HERE!! EAT HERE!! That is all.. B.E.D

  • Ana G.

This place is amazing. We ate here for lunch and despite the 15 min wait to get to the end of the line, this place was totally worth the wait. I can't really call myself a grilled cheese connoisseur, but this was probably the best grilled cheese sandwich I have EVER had. The sandwich had a three cheese combination which was just amazing, the cheese was nice and melty which made the experience so enjoyable. Also the tomato basil soup was just the perfect compliment to that sandwich. Overall, I recommend that you hit this place up if you are in the area. The sandwiches here are delectable. I honestly can't wait to come back to Seaside just to try another one of their sandwiches.

  • Dee D.

These food trucks are great. Meltodown is great. For the owner of Meltdown, please know, when the bacon isn't cooked past the pink limp stage, and the cranberry walnut bread is scorched on both sides, the whole concept falls apart. I have had great food at Melt Down, but the woman working mid week, this week could have cared less when I showed her the uncooked bacon. ??

  • Gabe R.

I love the ambiance of this place. There are several old Airstream food trucks all serving different cuisine. This one specializes in only grilled cheese!. What a great idea. Of course they fancy them up with cheeses that I cannot pronounce to make them sound sophisticated but at the end of the day, its just melted cheese pressed between 2 buttery pieces of toast. That's not a bad thing, it's just a thing. They also offer a few different soups including tomato. There are also a few different ham and bacon options to add to the yummy gooeyness of the cheese. It's definitely worth trying out once and for a one time occassion is really good, but it just seems like it could never be a normal routine type lunch spot.

Best grilled cheese EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Smokin' Turkey is a fabulous sandwich. Roasted turkey, bacon, cheese, & a spicy ranch sauce....SO GOOD. The brie & bacon on cranberry walnut bread is a real treat! The meatloaf is amazing. The daily specials are always good too! Family-friendly menu, fun atmosphere, & delicious food.

Every summer for the past several years we have visited Seaside. When Meltdown opened a few years ago, we found Grilled Cheese Paradise. The Grilled Cheese Meatloaf.... Excellent. Each sandwich tasted like it was lovingly prepared. Now the sandwiches seem slapped together. Not as good as years passed. New owner??

    (2)
  • Andrea T.

Not bad for a roadside vendor! I ordered the turkey and gruyere with roasted tomato soup. I was not disappointed. The sandwiches are quite large and they are generous with the fillings. I would like to try more of their menu items.

    (4)
  • Deborah J.

This is the closest to heaven I will ever be and that's a FACT. Cranberry walnut bread with gruyere and turkey grilled to perfection. I honestly can't recall if there was anything else on this sandwich, all I know is that it was full of melted gooey'ness and I was bummed that I hadn't ordered more than one. 30 A, I will miss you until we meet again...November perhaps? Cool its a date, love you!

    (5)
  • Frank G.

The ingredients speak for themselves: bacon, brie, goat cheese, meatloaf, BACON JAM. These are just a few of the amazing things you'll find inside many of their fantastic sandwiches. Served to you in an old-fashioned brown bag, it's highly doubtful that you'll still be hungry after scarfing one of these low-viscosity sammiches.

    (4)
  • Hannah G.

Had the pimento cheese melt. Yummy. Not too cheesy. Oozey goodness. Its a taco truck looking place... almost missed it!

    (4)
  • Rene D.

Service is horrible. Front cashier is terrible with no smiles. Food not bad but not great. Price is average.

    (3)
  • Jose A.

The grilled cheese sandwiches are the best I've ever had! I had the Meatloaf Melt and my wife had the B-A-C (bacon jelly, avacado, cheddar). I couldn't tell which I loved better but they were both amazing.

  • Sherri C.

"Grilled Cheese for Grown-ups" Pending review Airstream trailers converted to food trucks on the square in beautiful Seaside Florida. So many choices and so little time, I tried the pimento cheese with bacon. Yum. I wish I could have talked my husband into trying one of the other choices so I could have a bite. Ham and Smoked Gouda, Goat Cheese Prosciutto Arugula & Tomato, Brie & Bacon on Cranberry Walnut Bread and many many more. A great way to enjoy lunch on the beach.

  • Kat L.

How many things can I eat that I'm allergic to without dying? Wheat, eggs, and dairy? Sure, let's do this thing! So much to choose from. I really wanted to try the tomato basil, but I thought I would go with the classic 3 cheese. I cant even remember what three cheese it was but it brought tears to my eyes. Tears of JOY! Close your eyes... wait... dont do that cause you cant read my review... Okay: Imagine thick texas toast, soaked in butter, grilled to perfection, cut in half (diagonally), with about half an inch of cheese oozing out in perfection. That my friend is heaven. Don't forget to grab a shirt ($20) that says "I had a meltdown on 30A" :)

    (4)
  • Shepherd M.

I've fed my family and I breakfast and lunch here and we have never been disappointed except with the long wait, and that is because everyone else in Seaside is lined up for this tasty spot. Breakfast - grilled biscuits and Gouda-grits is heaven. Lunch - Grilled Pimento Cheese and bacon sandwich!! Holy smokes.

    (4)
  • Glen P.

Probably the best grilled cheese I've ever eaten. Must-have in Seaside!

    (5)
  • Chris A.

Yes Grilled cheese done correctly. I still make a better Grilled Cheese at home. So when I go out I see if I can find Grilled Cheese ideas. Pretty good Grilled Cheeses. A little bit of a wait but worth it.

  • Christian And Angela C.

An overpriced grilled cheese, though its fair to say the food on this main part of town is all a bit pricey. Don't know what all the fuzz is about as this was touted as "the best grilled cheese you'll ever have." The three cheese sandwich is forgettable. It just tastes like two slabs of bread with velveeta cheese. We also ordered the pimento cheese sandwich. That one was a lot more interesting, due to the spiciness of the pimento. Needless to say, if you're looking for a healthy option, skip this cart and head over to Raw & Juicy. Also, on the day that we were there they had run out of the tomato soup and feel like maybe we would've liked it better with the soup. OVERALL: A decent place if you're craving a grilled cheese, but head else where if you're looking for a heartier or a healthier meal, and DON'T order the plain and simple grilled cheese, which you can easily make at home. You'll feel like you're getting more for your money if you try a more adventurous choice.

  • Ryan K.

Stopped by the Meltdown during our day of eating and exploring Seaside. We shared the Cuban Grilled cheese. As you might guess, it had pulled pork, ham, pickles, a mustard sauce, and obviously cheese!! It was great. It would be bad-ass if they had a sampler platter, so many we wanted to try. Worth a stop for sure.

    (4)
  • Troy H.

Gotta go! It's just grilled cheese...but seriously. Taken to a new level. I now dream of these and struggle to make it this good at home.

    (5)
  • Joanne D.

I understand the high prices due to location and quality ingredients, but if you are going to charge me $8 for a grilled cheese, the least you can do is smile and say 'thank you' when I pay you. Sandwich was delicious.

  • Shel Y.

This is a great place to grab a fresh sandwich. It's good when you are headed on the way to the beach or going to an event in the amphitheater.

    (5)
  • Jan G.

My daughter only tried the traditional no-frills grilled cheese for $5 but the bread, cheese and texture were tasty. We look forward to trying the more adventurous options next time around. Novel concept with enticing options.

    (3)
  • Mia H.

    Interesting idea well executed. Yum.

    (4)
  • Bennett D.

Best grilled cheese I've ever had. "Classic American - add bacon" was immaculate. The Melt Down has mastered the grilled cheese.

    (5)
  • Nash W.

Fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches! Quick and easy!!! We will definitely return!

    (4)
  • Kelly B.

Okay, it's an Airstream trailer serving grilled cheese sammies -- and they are divine. The classic was advertised as American cheese, but tasted (not unpleasantly) like Velveeta. Abundant melty cheese on crispy light Texas toast. Perfection. My husband pronounced the pimento cheese and bacon likewise gooey yumminess. A can of Stella was just the right note for this comfort food bonanza.

    (4)
  • Liz W.

Awesome food truck. We love the location and can't wait to vacation here again.

    (5)
  • Marie H.

First time trying the whole food truck, great grilled cheeses! An upscale or fancy grilled cheeses very good! Tried the smokin' turkey it was yummy but personally one grilled cheese didn't seem enough though haha. Only thing is it's slightly pricey for a grilled cheese though. Still highly recommend when down at Seaside!!

    (4)
  • Scott W.

This place is legit. Came for lunch on a recommendation from friends. Had the Pimento Cheese and the Cuban. Wanted to order another Pimento Cheese for dessert. Washed it all down with a 30A Beach Blond Ale. Highly recommend for lunch in Seaside

    (5)
  • Abby W.

My husband ordered the BAC (bacon jam, avocado, and cheddar) sandwich and I had the brown bag ham and gouda sandwich. They are both so, so good! There's not a lot of seating and it's all outdoors, so we just took our sandwiches back to the house and ate them in the air conditioning!

    (5)
  • Ali M.

Get the goat cheese arugula and prosciutto melt! If u love goat cheese, this is the best cheese sandwich ever !

    (5)
  • H S.

Our favorite spot in Seaside, and has been every year when we come! It is always our top choice every lunch (at least). The BAC is INSANE! This week we have been completely let down to take 2 full stars off this rating. All on the account of the horribly rude "order taker". She was clearly ticked off to be working. "Name." (How about-"can I get your name for the order?"). The lady in front of us ordered the Smoked Turkey and asked for no avocado...this order taker rolls her eyes and says "so what is it called?". We walked away dumb founded as the service and overall hospitality in Seaside has always had a Southern Beach Charm...definitely a huge let down.

Ate here 4 times in 1 week - yes it was that good. First off if the thought of having a grilled cheese while sitting under an umbrella from a food cart doesn't take you to this place you should defiantly give that a second thought! If you're feeling overwhelmed by all the eating choices that seaside offers, go here. I ate breakfast twice- Gouda cheese grits. They were better than my grandmothers! Lunch once- plain old fashioned american grilled cheese, but let me tell you it tasted far from plain! It was so good and so thick that it will defiantly fill you up. & dinner once- Now they have more than just grilled cheese. They have all different kinda of sandwiches grilled, with cheese. I had the smokin' turkey. Turkey, avocado, bacon, a special sauce & (forgive me I forgot which kind) CHEESE! On toasted bread. It was soo good! Overall unless you can't possibly eat cheese, you should go here!

    (5)
  • Hal R.

I got the smokin turkey...or some name like that. If you want the best grilled cheese of all time, this is your place. It was hot as hell and I didn't think I would like a warm meal. I was wrong. I want to try just about all of them. Both mine and my wife's were fresh. At the end of the day, it is a warm sandwich, but the quality of meat, cheese, and bread are pretty badass. I would suggest this place all day long.

    (4)
  • Chloe H.

Artisanal grilled cheese is a common occurring theme these days and the Melt Down has it right! I've tried two different grilled cheeses here but my favorite by far is the tomato, basil, and mozzarella sandwich. It only takes a few minutes but the bread is great quality and the ingredients are so perfectly melted together without sacrificing the crunchiness of the bread (a pet peeve of mine). The atmosphere is great since it's one of the cute retro food trucks that Seaside has along the central square. It seems to be a busy place with lots of chatter too!

    (4)
  • Christina C.

I'm not a cheese person, but Meltdown has amazing grilled cheese combinations! I had the goat cheese, proscuitto, arugula, and tomato. The flavors were perfect, not too salty and just enough ingredients between the bread slices. I wish I had the chance to try a few more of the others. Service was quick around 9pm and the guy taking orders was very friendly. There is plenty of seating at and surrounding the food truck, so if you don't have anywhere else to eat, don't worry! My only thing with this place is that $8-10 is pretty pricey for just a normal sandwich. But the prices do reflect the neighborhood, so just something to be aware of.

    (4)
  • Samantha H.

Had the smoked Gouda and ham. It was great. Nice for a quick bite. Also continent that if everyone in your party wants different types of food you can do that with the food trucks!

Walking along past the row of food trucks near the amphitheatre in the Center Square of Seasdie, my dear friend said that I needed a grilled pimento cheese. To which I replied "With bacon!" I'd just finished a half marathon and the Whole30. While I know that you're supposed to ease yourself back into eating grains and cheese, Grilled pimento cheese with bacon just couldn't be resisted. I ordered one for $8, swiped my card, and didn't look back. I took it back to our nearby condo, about a 3 minute walk. The cheese was gooey and tangy and the bacon was just the right amount of pork. The bread was crispy on the outside, but hadn't yet crossed the line to crunchy. Divine. You also need a grilled pimento cheese. With bacon.

  • John M.

This is a simple fun place to have lunch. My children were happy , wife happy, and that makes me happy. I had the Cuban sandwich, my son the classic, daughter the mozzarella and my wife some sort of fancy 3 cheese with caramelized onions and so forth. There were no unfinished sandwiches. At night you can always take your meal right next door to the outdoor theater. I would give this food truck a try for a good little meal.

    (4)
  • Lauren C.

Great sandwich! I had the bacon and Brie on cranberry walnut bread...it was delicious! The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was the amount of time it took to get your order...wayyyyyy too long. But by far the best place for a grilled cheese. I'm looking forward to the owning of their new location in SanDestin's Beytowne Village.

    (4)
  • Brittany L.

This food truck is by far the most popular on 30-A. The lines are always 5 times as long as the rest and typically a 20 min wait just to get to order. With that said, they have an incredibly unique grilled cheese selection, and for someone who loves cheese as much as myself, it's a godsend. Just deal with the line and try one of their grilled cheeses, you will be pleased!!

Great little stop. A little expensive for grilled cheese but everything is in Seaside. The strawberry jam, goat cheese and prosciutto was delicious.

  • Katie I.

Excellent! So needed some comfort food after seafood all week. They use thick Texas toast, making the classic American grilled cheese simply awesome with tons of ooey gooey cheese. The red, white and blue with bacon, Brie, tomato and Carmelized onions was awesome, as was the ham and Gouda. Reasonably priced for the seaside area and family friendly- grab and go to the nearby picnic tables or lawn. Would've been 5 stars had they had childrens tshirts in stock. The woman said the famous "I had a meltdown on 30a" shirt only goes to 4t and then adult sizes. Ok....my 6 year old earned that shirt! Bummer. All in all a great place if you are in the mood.

    (4)
  • Matthew B.

I am pretty bias towards grilled cheese in the first place, but this place does it right. Like most things on 30A, it is overpriced, but you'll get a tasty lunch for $8-$10 that can get you in and out and back to the beach in no time. Of al of the mobile restaurants in the park, this was definitely our favorite.

Brie, blue cheese, bacon, caramelized onion as a grilled cheese. Tastes 1000 times better than it reads. Fantastic spot for anything grilled cheese.

Food is delicious! Their bacon jam is the jam and their biscuits are top notch. I will say that both times I have visited the staff has been less than friendly, like so much so that I was afraid to even order. I feel that part of being in the service industry is being friendly. Even a smile can go a long way in someone's day.

  • Jami W.

I must have picked an off day, but my pimento grilled cheese was a joke. Barely any cheese on the sandwich! Not to mention the guy that waited on me was unfriendly. Bottom line, the permanent "food trucks" in Seaside are a huge disappointment!

What's not to like about an Air Stream serving great grilled cheese sandwiches? Only the price! A little over priced but we all enjoyed it anyway. Great place to stop in and have a quick sandwich after a long bike ride through Sea Side.

This place is great. A little $$ but worth it. Friendly staff. Great dill pickle chips. We had the Cuban. it was very good. We got another sandwich but I can't remember what it was but it was our favorite. Delicious and gourmet toppings! HUGE servings, split with a friend!

  • Niki W.

Doesn't matter how good the food was. It took forever to get it. This is not a fine steak -- IT'S GRILLED CHEESE! Not cool.

I've been here twice and each time I've left happy. Grilled cheese is my go to food for when I'm tired and don't know what to eat. So to have this conveniently located in Seaside in the food truck area is just perfect. I've tried the classic, mushroom and my husband had the turkey. All were tasty!

New owner??

  • Andrea T.

Not bad for a roadside vendor! I ordered the turkey and gruyere with roasted tomato soup. I was not disappointed. The sandwiches are quite large and they are generous with the fillings. I would like to try more of their menu items.

  • Jose A.

The grilled cheese sandwiches are the best I've ever had! I had the Meatloaf Melt and my wife had the B-A-C (bacon jelly, avacado, cheddar). I couldn't tell which I loved better but they were both amazing.

Yes Grilled cheese done correctly. I still make a better Grilled Cheese at home. So when I go out I see if I can find Grilled Cheese ideas. Pretty good Grilled Cheeses. A little bit of a wait but worth it.

Gotta go! It's just grilled cheese...but seriously. Taken to a new level. I now dream of these and struggle to make it this good at home.

I understand the high prices due to location and quality ingredients, but if you are going to charge me $8 for a grilled cheese, the least you can do is smile and say 'thank you' when I pay you. Sandwich was delicious.

My daughter only tried the traditional no-frills grilled cheese for $5 but the bread, cheese and texture were tasty. We look forward to trying the more adventurous options next time around. Novel concept with enticing options.

    (4)

    (4)
  • Janine M.

Great little stop. A little expensive for grilled cheese but everything is in Seaside. The strawberry jam, goat cheese and prosciutto was delicious.

    (4)

  • Scott W.

This place is legit. Came for lunch on a recommendation from friends. Had the Pimento Cheese and the Cuban. Wanted to order another Pimento Cheese for dessert. Washed it all down with a 30A Beach Blond Ale. Highly recommend for lunch in Seaside

Get the goat cheese arugula and prosciutto melt! If u love goat cheese, this is the best cheese sandwich ever !

  • Shilpa H.

    (3)
  • Amanda S.

  • Jennifer I.

  • Emily A.

    (5)

    (5)
  • Katie I.

    (4)

    (4)

Had the smoked Gouda and ham. It was great. Nice for a quick bite. Also continent that if everyone in your party wants different types of food you can do that with the food trucks!

With bacon.

This place is great. A little $$ but worth it. Friendly staff. Great dill pickle chips. We had the Cuban. it was very good. We got another sandwich but I can't remember what it was but it was our favorite. Delicious and gourmet toppings! HUGE servings, split with a friend!

  • Niki W.

New owner??

  • Andrea T.

Not bad for a roadside vendor! I ordered the turkey and gruyere with roasted tomato soup. I was not disappointed. The sandwiches are quite large and they are generous with the fillings. I would like to try more of their menu items.

Service is horrible. Front cashier is terrible with no smiles. Food not bad but not great. Price is average.

  • Jose A.

The grilled cheese sandwiches are the best I've ever had! I had the Meatloaf Melt and my wife had the B-A-C (bacon jelly, avacado, cheddar). I couldn't tell which I loved better but they were both amazing.

  • Troy H.

This is a great place to grab a fresh sandwich. It's good when you are headed on the way to the beach or going to an event in the amphitheater.

My daughter only tried the traditional no-frills grilled cheese for $5 but the bread, cheese and texture were tasty. We look forward to trying the more adventurous options next time around. Novel concept with enticing options.

Best grilled cheese I've ever had. "Classic American - add bacon" was immaculate. The Melt Down has mastered the grilled cheese.

Fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches! Quick and easy!!! We will definitely return!

Awesome food truck. We love the location and can't wait to vacation here again.
