This DQ is not only the place to be but brings me back to the days of Old when hospitality was the norm and folks really showed an interest on the patrons needs ! I love this place !

Upon them getting our order wrong they were rude to fix their mistake. Snotty crew working gods I guess.

Just went there. Very rude. Chocolate ice Cream not working well. Had to wait. Never offered a replacement. Older woman sure took my money fast. Never apologized for the wait or softer then normal ice cream.

Eh? I mean, it's a DQ. I have find memories of it as a child, but with age comes a change of taste I suppose. Good service, quick service, ok ice cream.

Eh, it's a Dairy Queen... It's a Dairy Queen on an expensive island. What that translates into is very pricey low-to-average quality ice cream and fried food that is about twice as expensive as it should be. I'm not a huge fan.

Good ice cream and shakes. The chocolate milkshake I had has great. The grandkids loved their ice cream too.

Love DQ and had an especially great experience here. Chad invented the dip and sprinkle combination and we loved it. Talk about a nice kid who loves his job!

Typical DQ. Nothing better then an ice cream to help you through your walk. The ice cream was typical Dairy Queen. However, the service was above average. The service was friendly, they smiled and said hello! Though we only head to the island once a year.....we frequent this DQ when my wife and I take a walk for our health!

Welcome to the most expensive DQ in America. Do yourself a favor and keep driving to Schnapper's Hots for your ice cream. You can get real ice cream (not soft serve) for half the price.

I haven't been to a DQ since 1977 until yesterday; convenient location, obviously, at Sanibel crossroads, plenty of seating, AC in the ordering area, best soft serve of any chain...Orange Julius not as awesome as it used to be, but how can you go wrong with the dipped cone? More American than a Ford 4x4.

Where am I? Disney World? Is it really $12 for chicken fingers, fries and a soda at Dairy Queen and $4 for a super small blizzard? Is this a nightmare? What a joke. Obviously it's a franchise...and all of the tables were sticky and gross. If it's going to cost me more than $50 bucks for some fried garbage, you better clean those tables! I also expect some silverware! Diggity Damn! Best part of the experience was the coupons they had next to the cash register for the Dolphin Tours. Save 50% on the tickets. That combatted the over priced Burger King.

Yep. You guessed it. It's Dairy Queen. What's really to review? It does seem a bit pricey though.

We come to this DQ every time we visit Sanibel. The service is good, and we have never had an issue with the food. The only problem is that it's very popular and lines can stretch into the street. There's plenty of seating outside though.

Super expensive. -1 star Took 20 minutes to get the food. -1 star Was good for the most part.

Ten PM. The uplit DQ sign is a beacon on this island where no streetlights are allowed. The red roof tells you in its pointy way where you can find a familiar taste of heaven, just like kids of all ages have been doing here for more than fifty years. I go for the classic - soft serve cone, dipped in chocolate that hardens in a moment. You know it's the real deal when a chocolate piece falls onto your clothes and you don't notice. Or care.

I love DQ blizzards and don't get one very often so I was excited to see one on Sanibel during our stay last week. My brother went to pick up blizzards one night and 5 small ones cost $20+ Four dollars for a small blizzard is outrageous. Had we known it was that expensive, we would have gone somewhere else for dessert. My parents, nephew and I stopped one other day just to grab a couple sodas and it was about $7 for 3 small sodas and 1 slushy drink. The employee helping us wasn't very attentive. We had to repeat the soda order several times and it felt like we were bothering the staff by patronizing the establishment.

Where else in the WORLD can you listen to Jimmy Buffett sing about a cheeseburger in paradise while EATING a cheeseburger in paradise? Lovely to sit outside at a picnic table singing with Jimmy and watching happy families with ice cream dripping down their chins. Yeah, I admit it, it is often too hot on Sanibel for soft serve ice cream but that's the fun of it. There's lots of upscale places on the island, but we like funky and it doesn't get funkier than this! Unless of course you are eating great food in a supermarket, but that's another Sanibel tale. Loosen up and bring your flip flops to the DQ.

Saturday night had dinner next door. As occurred many times I had graving for a DQ mixed cone. Arrived at the order window minutes after closing only to see the employees cleaning. I quess the sadden countenance caused the manager to open the window and advise me they were closed, which was a mistake. After I briefly plead my case they were very kind to serve me up. The consistency of DQ I hope will last forever. Thank you DQ!

We love, love, love Dairy Queen; however, we are not quite sure why the vanilla ice cream tastes so different here. We were at this DQ last month, and were so disappointed with the taste and texture of the ice cream. We decided to try it again, hoping that they just had a problem with the machine. Sad to say, NO!! Same unappealing texture, and sour taste. Sorry to say we will not be visiting this location for awhile.

In a town which outlaws chains you're probably thinking, wtf is a Dairy Queen doing there? Well, it was grand-fathered in when the law was enacted back in the 1970's. This particular store gets an extra star from me cause on one hot day it saved me from the heat. Oh, you might be wondering where the review really is ... well, it's a DQ, they're all the same basically - and therein lies at the heart of why I hate chains.

When we wanted ice cream past 9 p.m., this location satisfied that need! The service is great, they were efficient and the ice cream was just as it should have been. I will definitely go back!!

Definitely not worth going here. it's weird to see a dq in sanibel and we thought it would be just as good as any other dq. wrong! the soft ice cream almost had a sour taste to it and even the sprinkles tasted old. we didn't even finish the ice cream it was that heinous. there is another place on the island that has very good home made ice cream sanibel scoop - see other review of mine for this place. go there. do not go to the dq.
