I'm giving the four stars for my husband. He could eat at Qdoba two or three times a week! Because of that, I'm more of a three star. lol Seriously though, the food has always been good and tastes fresh. The portions are generous. I prefer a little more flavor and spice, but I know not everyone likes spicy food.

I drive riiight past Qdoba, down Lake Mary Blvd., and over to Chipotle, where the food has never disappointed me like it always has here. They are usually busy at lunch, which confuses me, terribly! Not much flavor to their meats or salsa, dry rice, frequently stale chips. Meh, meh, meh. If they have some crazy-good coupon in the mail, I'll go for it, but only because I'm broke. The quality here does not seem up to par with the other fast casual "Mexican"-inspired food joints. Tijuana Flats, Chipotle, and even Moe's are superior to Qdoba.

Was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness in this location. Most of tables had not been wiped down, chips scattered under several tables and trash over the top of all trash cans. The soda area was disgusting with food smeared over that area also. The food was good but this was a bit scary. If they don't care about that then what goes on in the back. The owner should know about this. 2 people seems to be only ones there. Will still visit but not at that location. Also there were only 2 tables there...not even busy sat, . I was impressed. Seminar to the other guys but I do think the menu and over all taste of the food is much better. I will be back next time I am on this side of town. The only reason for 4 starts instead of 5 was the portions seemed a little small maybe it was under portioned or maybe that is the size they serve. Just one visit can't determine that.

Not Chipotle but a good second when I don't want to drive the extra distance to get to my beloved Chipotle. The veggie burrito was gigantic and was okay. The flavors here were a little bland. My little guy and I ate outside which was nice and he seemed to enjoy his kiddo nachos. To be completely honest I will most likely go back since Chipotle is a ways down the road however I will be thinking of Chipotle whilst I shovel the veg burrito in my mouth. P.S. please do not tell Chipotle about my cheating ways.

Great food for the price! Better than chipotle in my opinion!

Its like Chipotle but its not owned by the evil empire that spawned McDonalds. Like chipotle they charge for chips, a concept I just do not understand or condone. It doesn't matter because if you can eat one of those burritos and still eat more you might need some therapy. I dig the burritos. Yeah, I know its not authentic and all but if you can find an authentic burrito in Sanford drop me a line and I'm there. Its fast, clean and friendly in a we-are-smiling-cause-we-have-to kind of way.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
