Our third time here, and we still love this place. Service has always been very responsive. I ordered the fish tacos. They were crispy and fresh, with slices of ripe avocado. I didn't care for the black beans side order (too salty for my taste); a manager immediately saw me looking around and asked if I needed anything. When I asked if I could replace the beans, he said sure. My kids wanted fries and I wanted veggies so he brought us both. That is excellent customer service. Kids had gluten free pizza, and DH enjoyed his blackened salmon sandwich. (Last time, I had the kale salad which is the best kale salad I've ever had.) Beers were cold and yummy. Our servers always refresh our soft drinks promptly too. Kids love coming here because of the cool kids' lounge area. I love the music videos, and my husband enjoys the sports. They are wonderfully supportive of community events too, sponsoring School of Rock performances, having Star Wars movie nights. Love!

We have eaten at this location a few times and have been pleased with the food and the service. This last time was not the case. We went for an early lunch and the place was empty. We sat at the bar and the bartender seemed none too pleased to wait on us. He was not rude but not in the universe of friendly either. We ordered a beer and a wine. I had chosen the wrong beer by accident but this guy made absolutely no offer to change it out for me. In fact he just walked away without a word. Our food arrived hot and tasty (chicken wings and fish tacos). The food was great as usual. The server that delivered our food was very nice. In the meantime our unfriendly bartender was yapping it up with another employee. The other guy was droning on and on about every aspect of beer that almost nobody would ever want or need to know. Next thing we see is our unfriendly bartender ignoring us as he poured two beers for himself and Mr. Beer connoisseur himself. They proceeded to down the beers while on the clock. If this were a true bar maybe that would be okay but this is a restaurant primarily with a nice selection of beer. Not appropriate in my opinion especially considering the guy wasn't being at all courteous to us to begin with. The previous times we had been at this location everyone was great. The bartender on the last visit before this one could not have been more friendly and helpful. In any event it certainly left me not wanting to come back. We even sent an email to the corporate office and so far have not been contacted. It's too bad that one person can just ruin an otherwise quite favorable impression of a place.

I came here a couple weeks ago on a Saturday night with friends. The place was busy but not over-crowded. It was cold so we bee-lined for the huge fire pit outside. It took awhile for us to be served but that was expected on a weekend night. The atmosphere of the place itself is really cool and laid back. They play a variety of Classic Rock music and they have huge canvas prints of artists' albums hanging everywhere. It's clean and cozy (especially by the fire or under the outdoor heaters)! For a sharable appetizer I would recommend their loaded cheese fries smothered in bacon and green onions. Try not to eat them all! I would definitely love to come back here and hang out with friends.

The scenery is good. Lots of tables and greeting was nice. We gave our number for a table and was told 15 min. Went to the bar to get a drink during the wait. Server came over and I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beer. She said no, no? Who doesn't NA beer? So I went to the bar after she took everyone else's order and sure enough, ended up with a NA beer. We ended up staying at the high top because apparently they texted us 5 minutes after we sat down and ten minutes later when we saw it they had already given up our table and never put us back on the list to be texted for another table - that was annoying. We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese as a starter. Pretzel was good covered in salt so brushed most off as it was too salty for me. Beer cheese was a little watery and thought it would've been better with a thicker consistency. Sweet and spicy mustard that also came with was good. For main I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which server said was "very popular". Came with coleslaw and dill pickles. I ordered an additional side of french fries. Sandwich was decent, pork was really dry. French fries and coleslaw were good. My friend ordered the turkey burger and she was happy with it and her husband the tri top sandwich and vegetables. Just a note per the server: you cannot get side of vegetables dry here. They mix butter and veggies at the start of the day and then distribute them when ordered. This is odd to me. The atmosphere is cool, lots of tv's so good for sports enthusiasts and the draft picks are plenty to choose from as well as bottled options. Big bar area. I'd come back here again when in Orlando for drinks, sports and possibly a pizza as I was told those are pretty good.

Rock & Brews was such a fun night out for dinner. This was a pleasant surprise to find in Oveido. We had family visiting from out of town and found out that this place is a tourist destination since the restaurant owners (or investors) are members of the band KISS. The place has a high ceiling and it's a big warehouse style restaurant and bar. There is also a large covered patio with TVs and it's pet friendly outside. It's not like the Hard Rock Cafe, but there is vibe inside with all the musician images that feels pretty cool and a wee bit similar. Music fans enjoy this atmosphere. Also there was a super long bar with so many beers on tap, the selection was really vast. Loved all the vintage style music posters and photos of the musicians around the place! There was loud music and videos being played on the large monitors. Some of the videos were really obscure and interesting, enjoyed that they have a huge selection of music to play and it wasn't just top 40 music. They had crazy 80's-90's alternative videos playing. I tried the house Bloody Mary served with all the regular toppings and a strip of bacon added (so it wasn't kosher) and it was so good! The wings are really great and the sweet asian flavor was our table's favorite. Tried the pizza and that was great too. The pretzel with beer cheese was huge and perfect for sharing. I am not sure why I liked this place so much, at first I though it sounded sort of touristy and contrived, but we had a great night and the service was really attentive. I would go back again for sure and enjoy another Bloody Mary and giant pretzel anytime.

I'm a fan! After dining at this relatively new concept several times (five to be exact) since it opened, I am overdue at giving Rock & Brews a review. I'm disappointed to see that currently Yelpers have rated this place only 3 1/2 stars. My observation is that more than half of the reviews were by first timers who visited within a month of the restaurant opening. The other rationale is that patrons are coming in with unrealistically high expectations. Driving by, this place exudes a fun atmosphere. Its impressive free-standing building lights up a somewhat quiet area of town like a fireworks show. Upon entering the front doors, you are greeted by an open warehouse-type atmosphere with high top tables and booths. Some Yelpers complained about the fact that there are a lot of high tops and you may dine next to strangers. I don't see this as a negative, but rather a positive. The high-top seating is first-come, first-served and lends itself to quicker seating on busy nights. So what if you have to sit next to strangers? If you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner out with your significant other, you've come to the wrong place. The walls inside are covered in colorful faces of rock and pop icons from John Lennon to Madonna. Televisions blasting old time rock videos and current sporting events (soccer, football, basketball, etc) brings the entertainment value even higher. I think the lighting is somehow synchronized with the song selection. One weird part about this place is the colored lights shine awkwardly on your food but it doesn't really bother me that much. On nights that I've dined there, the rock music has been played at a reasonable level - loud enough for a fun atmosphere but not too loud that you can't hear the person next to you. Okay, this place has got the ROCK part (of Rock & Brews) covered! R&B's also delivers on the BREWS - the establishment features an extended bar area with just as lengthy selection of brews. They've got a ton of craft and international beers to satisfy any desire. They also do a good job of bringing in local beer and even have some gluten free options (my favorite, a pear cider) to add to their impressive selection. Now let's talk about the FOOD. I've tried the Fireball Burger (delicious), Turkey Burger (surprisingly moist), Spicy Asian Wings (tasty and a good portion), Calamari (okay), Coleslaw (pretty good with a hint of bacon), and Coachella Italian Salad (very good). The fries are also AMAZING. My husband and I think that they fry them twice or put some kind of special batter on them to make them crispy and yummy. My husband's favorite is the R&B Special Pizza as it is covered in meat. Overall, we like the food a lot despite this being a bar and grill. The prices are reasonable too, although we suspect that they may raise prices at some point. I can't complain about the service. I've maybe had one bad server the five times that I've been there, and he wasn't even that bad (just seemed inexperienced). Some other unique things to note about this place have been mentioned in previous reviews, such as cool outdoor seating with fire pits and a dog menu, so I won't go into detail about them. Note that if you join R&B's Facebook page, you'll receive updates on upcoming events and specials. Overall, this place is a win!

I can appreciate Rock n Brews for being that added family meal spot in the Oviedo area. Food is okay and the restaurant is lively. The menu had varied options so I just looked through for their most popular items and settled on the tri-tip sandwich. My dining companion ordered a calamari app and burger. From what I tried, the food seemed over seasoned. The calamari was dipped into seasoned batter and rubbery. My sandwich had the perfect bun, but the meat was too salty for my liking. Our server was still new so she seemed unsure of her workflow. At one point she brought over the bar manager to explain what a Saison was when we didn't even inquire. Turns out the people who sat at our table before us asked her and she didn't remember until much later. No biggie, mistakes happen, but the bar manager made it uncomfortable for us by making a snide comment to the server. We didn't need to hear that so I tried to diffuse the situation by complimenting his handlebar mustache and thanking him for his time. GAH, AWKWARD! I wouldn't mind coming back, but I think I will take my time in doing so.

This place looks like the little brother of Hard Rock Cafe, but with better food. I visited this establishment this past weekend with my wife due to all of the recommendations from my family. I really enjoyed the open air feeling of the building (it's essentially a warehouse, but with a lot of windows around the sides). I the "meat loaf" off of their brunch menu. This consisted of eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, egg, pepper and onion. My wife ordered the "backstage" burger, which is just their stock cheeseburger, with fries. I can't say these were the best versions of these foods we've ever had, but they were very good! In addition to this, we had an appetizer of the roasted brussel sprouts with bacon, cheese, and garlic aoli. Again, this was very good too! Despite our server being awesome and having a great personality, service was a bit slow. I like this place, and will likely come back.

Went here for lunch the other day and I must start off by saying that the service was pretty exceptional. The greeters were very nice and we had a lovely server by the name of Alec. He was fast and friendly and had been with the restaurant since it opened. We ate lunch with my husband's mom and she decided to order the grilled brussel sprouts for an appetizer. They were pretty good and I enjoyed the garlic aioli sauce that came with them... however, pass the breath mints! lol I ended up getting the Backstage Burger because my father-in-law raved about it. I guess that is what started this whole trip anyway... however, it's just another burger. Really nothing special about it. In fact, it was kind of uncomfortable to eat. I have never been a messy burger type of person so that's just me. Fries were nothing special as well. I guess I should have tried something else on the menu? I may come back to try other things but when I left my meal made me feel heavy (and I only had half of the burger and some of the fries.)

I was driving by the other day and decided to stop by and give it a try. I had heard about Rock & Brews on the radio. I decided to have a seat at the bar, and was greeted by Nate the bartender. He probably asked me if I want to have a beer, and he poured me a Guinness which was on. I asked him for a recommendation, he recommended the blue cheese burger with Applewood smoked bacon. it was yummy. All of the bar staff was very chatty and friendly made you feel very welcome. I noticed quite a few fiftysomething-year-old couples having lunch at tables and at the bar. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. plenty of very large TV screens with sports playing on them. Of course there was rock 'n roll videos playing at the same time. A rock 'n roll theme sports bar, why didn't somebody think of this earlier. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic; decorated with tons of music memorabilia, a great patio, an awesome fire pit & a large craft beer selection make for a fun & relaxing dining experience. Food is delicious & the staff is very friendly! I enjoyed their steak salad & wings on the patio with my family. All of us enjoyed every last bite of our dinner. Oh & the best part? They're dog friendly! Highly recommend.

When deciding where to put this place I can't help but think they missed an obvious choice of Kiss-imme. Oviedo really seems like an odd place for a restaurant that belongs in the tourist area of Orlando. It's a fun upbeat place that has videos of the 80's and 90's hairbands playing. Plenty of televisions are present for sports as well. There is patio seating equipped with misters and heaters for your dinning pleasure. My husband and I ordered the fire grilled tri tip tacos @ $10.99 and a pizza @ around $14.00, and we had a few draft craft beers which were between 6.50 and 8.00 a piece. .a bit steep for beer. The food was tasty enough. I liked the tacos more than the pizza. They had a ton of salad options on the menu that I will try if I ever return. The craft beer selection was pretty good, I appreciated the local selection. I won't go out of my way to go again, but if someone else wanted to go there, I'd be happy to tag along.

This might be my new favorite restaurant! I went for its dog-friendly atmosphere, and my puppy and I had a blast! Its not enough to say that the staff is dog-friendly- they are dog lovers! Daisy tried one of their meals and a "bowser beer"- a broth mix. They were very reasonably priced and she loved them! What really impressed me, however, was the quality of the "human food". I expected it to be good, but - like other celebrity restaurants - to be a little generic. However, all of our meals were fantastic! I had the chicken with mango chili sauce. Yum!

New concept in Oviedo area. Several other restaurants in area with similar food. Menu is kinda all over the place "inspired" American food. Kale salad was the standout and it was huge! Average overall due to atmosphere and service.

Tonight I went to the Opening of new Rock & Brews in Oviedo which is off Red Bug Lake Rd. near Tuskawilla. This is the first east coast location in a chain of about 8 restaurants. It's got the Rock and Roll vibe with family dining and maybe a little sports bar thrown in. With Restaurateurs known for California Brewpubs concepts and Brand Ambassadors Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of Kiss. Once inside the door it's definitely got the Rock and Roll look from the pictures to the artwork and the music. Plenty of TV's and one specifically playing Music video's to include just about all Rock music genres. Plenty of room with a good sized bar, and large booths, high bar tables along the walls. Most of the dining area had 6 to 8 person picnic tables both inside and outside on the patio. One thing about the patio area it looks to be well equipped for the Florida weather to include multiple fan units for summer, and also fire pits. Plus an outdoor chill sort of area off the entrance with a big fire pit. The bar! This is a Beer lover's paradise with 56 beers on tap and 75 more beers in bottle and cans. They are hoping to have it up to 100 beer varieties in bottle and cans once they get going. Our Bartender knew his beers, and they also have a full liquor bar and service was pretty quick. My server tonight for dinner was Monica who was very good, and knowledgeable about the menu and when asked had some good recommendations. The menu was pretty extensive from Appetizers, to Salads, Sandwiches, Pizza and Hand Crafted Burgers and much more. I had the Carolina Style BBQ Baby Back Ribs and Fries. Ribs were fall off the bone good and the southern sweet mustard BBQ sauce was the perfect combo of sweet and spicy with a smokey flavor not too spicy. I would not mind seeing that sauce for sale in the merch. section. We had a large party and everyone enjoyed what they had, my buddy had the R&B Special which was the pizza and he thought it was great. Couple folks talked about the Signature Wings and indicated those were pretty good as well so I will try them next trip. You will need to check it out and see for yourself. I thought overall it was really good and well make another visit. The "Official" Grand Opening will be announced for January with word on the street that the "Demon" and "Starchild" will be here to Rock and Roll All Nite and Party Every day!

I'm torn. The food is better than average and the beer selection is very respectable. The ambiance is kinda fun but a little loud (not world of beer loud mind you) with lots of cool pictures of the rock and roll greats on the walls. Two things bother me. The service is painfully slow from the kitchen. We sat at the bar both times and the floor was not busy but it took forever for our food to come out. Also, it is rediculously expensive with pints at least two dollars more than other places in town. The food seemed steep as well. The bartenders were fabulous and knowledgeable so that is a plus.

I went to Rock n Brews to watch the soccer game. Really cool atmosphere. Almost like Hard Rock meets Ale House. Plenty of beers on tap. I had the yummy pretzel n cheese. Paid extra for cheese but worth it. Our server Ashley was more than attentive. We ordered fish tacos. This. Was where I minused a star..2 little tacos & a cup of black beans. Very tasty but overpriced. Id recommend this place to bring friends, enjoy a brew & watch the games :)

Came here on a whim today with Kelly H. And Darcie B. This is one of those places I'll come to eat at if everyone else insists, but not something that would ever top my list. As soon as we walked in, the whole place was overwhelmed in a strong smell. Idk if it was necessarily bad, but maybe like a few gallons of ranch dressing had spilled in the middle of the floor. Just weird. We were sat inside, where they have regular tables, picnic tables, and high tops. There is also an outdoor patio with fire pits and hooks to leash up your dog... Cool! Our server was Brian, who was a little soft spoken, but extremely helpful! He was great at letting us sample different beers, and suggested the pretzel appetizer, which was delicious! I ordered a burger and fries, and Kelly H. and Darcie B. both went for two different pizzas. Before the food came out, Brian came by to tell Kelly H. that they didn't make her pizza correctly and that they were starting from scratch. It was just very odd how it was shared, and it made me and Darcie B. wonder if our food was just sitting there to rot while we waiting for hers to be completely remade. They finally brought out ours, and her pizza was still about 5 minutes behind. My burger was extremely dry to the point that I couldn't eat more than half of it. I ordered it medium well, but have received burgers cooked to the same temperature that were juicy and delicious. This was everything but. My counterparts weren't overly thrilled with theirs. I did appreciate Brian noticing that I hadn't eaten more than half my burger, and I mentioned it was too dry. He took it off the bill and offered me a new dish, but I had enough pretzel to hold me over and declined. We ended with the brownie dessert, and it was yummy! The table next to use got the purple rain drops, and those smelled sooooo good. Might get those next time I'm there. Overall a cool atmosphere, but nothing worth going out of the way for.

This place is awesome. Their menu is huge offering anywhere from pizza to a huge selection of salads. Burgers are ridiculously big, delicious, and flavorful. The place is big so it can can a bit noisy. It's great to watch a game or go with a big group. The patio is dog friendly too! It's one of my favorites for lunch on the weekend.

The overall setting is very comfortable casual, and of course has every beer you can imagine. The only issue is the particular beer that was enticing to me, was already sold out. There were a couple of items on the menu they no longer have. For example the jasmine rice was discontinued, and they have not updated the menu with the many different changes of offerings. If its a slow night you can sit by yourself on a communal table, but if it's busy, expect to meet new strangers on your table. Overall I thought the service was great, and the food was beyond flavorful. The prices seemed a bit high for the drinks, but the experience itself was worth it.

Came here to meet up with some old high school friends when I was in town. They have a huge indoor seating area. The main floor is mostly lined with picnic tables to accommodate large groups of people. The outdoor area can be open, but during the winter months they close it off with those plastic/vinyl looking walls with heaters heating the area. Food isn't anything to rave about, but it's a really good area to hang out with a big group of people. Pretty typical bar food with a very large selection of beer. TV's literally everywhere, I forgot to check if they had TV's in the restrooms. Sports, beer, and bar food - this place screams 'MURICA! I can see how this place can get insanely packed. Would definitely come back, but only if it was for a big group gathering.

PET LOVERS REJOICE! Rock & Brews is the epitome of pet friendly. Large outdoor seating area, individual water bowls (there were three other dogs there and I feel like it's uncommon for a place to have that many bowls), and best of all they even have a doggy menu with multiple items to choose from. Our little man was in puppy heaven. Of course, they do a pretty good job of making the humans comfortable too. My husband always tells me I'm over generous with my 5 star ratings, and in this case I might be because DOGS, but it wouldn't be much less than 5 stars even still. The staff is attentive. There's a varied menu. The blue cheese Apple wood smoked bacon burger and sweet potato fries I ordered were delicious. They have a giant pretzel appetizer and ever changing beer options. Also, good music. Oviedo has more to offer than you might expect!

Food was good. Pretty tasty, actually, but nothing spectacular. Menu is a bit limited, but as long as the items are good, who cares? Burger was good. Chicken Sandwich was fine. Kind of like AleHouse with a smaller menu. Seafood limited to salmon. Service was perfectly acceptable. Why only 3 stars? Walking to wash up in the restroom, there was a horrible smell coming from the bar. And it wasn't just the usual old stale beer and soda smell (though that was part of it) that you expect from older places. There was a kind of sewage odor there, too. Kind of off-putting. Minor annoyance- over-eager busboy interrupting a conversation to try and clear the table.

The success of the owners, real rock n' roll legends, didn't seem to follow into this place. It's a touristy place in the middle of Suburbia. The beer selection was overpriced and did not impress. The food didn't have a consistent cuisine, and had cheesy rock songs incorporated in the names. Things that make a restaurant a great place were just not there. I did like the big Dr. Feel Good mural, and the server was awesome - actually had a personality and could hold a conversation despite the place being packed full of patrons. All in all, the menu sells at "Special Occasion" prices, but the food/drink is on par with any neighborhood bar.

Apps before drinks and no small plates. Drinks get dropped off and we have no straws. Meals arrive at table several minutes apart. Fish tacos arrive with the beer battered fish in the shape of an eggroll? Eggroll shape is very dark brown from I assume old oil. Kids food meals are enjoyed by all three kids. Wife liked her Turkey Key BLT. Fun vibe environment.

I've been to many restaurants for lunch and dinner but never one called Rock and Brews. I will start by saying the inside of this place has so much spunk and vibe with their decor, art, friendly staff and service! Place had an overall great atmosphere for the family and for the buddy's just wanting to get out of the house for a few! I went with My brother and mom for lunch and everyone was friendly and staff attentive. I don't remember our waitress but I will say one of the managers named Sherman came over and talked to us and was super friendly guy and helpful too! We ordered an ultimate burger, turkey sandwich, and the dog! All three items were super delicious! No regrets! I also got the sweet potatoes fries with my meal and I have to say they were pretty damn good and were not too thin like I usually see at most places. Overall I give this place a 10/10 and welcome it to the neighborhood of Oviedo! Will def return again !

Everything was awesome. Everybody in our party enjoyed all the food, especially the pretzel appetizer. The service was amazing went out of their way to help us select one of the 53 draft beer selections! The atmosphere was great. Loved the music. Highly recommend this place.

Calling Alex. Calling Alex. Come in Alex. Several Gueze Marriage Parfaits, and additional respectable characters, were spotted at Rock and Brews on November 23, 2014. They continue to loiter and will have to be consumed in the immediate near future. Copy that? Food is average corporate sport-bar-style food. Partner said the food is better than other local sport bars' food.

Here goes.... Confusion seem to rule hostess station. Sat on patio. Took 5 minutes for the first waitress to take our drink order. Took 5 more minutes for the second waitress to come to our table and realize our drink order was already taken.(she was training yet a 3rd waitress) Took another 5 minutes for a requested kids menu to be delivered. Took 5 minutes to be waited on / orders taken by trainee without our waitress present. Took almost 10 minutes for my shot ( cinnamon apple toast ) to arrive. Cost was $7 and fell very short. It was more like a straight shot of Fireball...was not what I ordered The food arrived ! The Strawberry Fields Salad was delivered WITHOUT the chicken requested when ordered, but was corrected about 5 minutes later. Unfortunately, the salad also DID NOT have cucumber on it as advertised. The tri tip sandwich was AWESOME as always with the best fries I have had in a long time. Ordered a draft beer when food was delivered, took nearly 10 minutes to arrive. The most troubling part of this meal has to do with the kids meal. One of the grapes HAD MOLD ON IT. The waitress brought fresh grapes once this issue was brought to light, but honestly this makes me very suspect of ALL practices in the kitchen. I have visited Rock and Brews nearly 10 times since their opening. I see a steady decline in quality. Our waitress was nice enough, but I think was a victim of being stretched thin with extra responsibilities. Spent over $70 tonight...left pretty disappointed.

Do not come here if you want to watch boxing, kickboxing, mma or any sport that This place would consider "violent" since they do not show fight sports. Apparently football which cause far more concussions and head trauma is ok but not fight sports.

I thought this place had so much potential especially from its awesome rock decor and architectural design. While these things were aesthetically pleasing our food was not. Went on a not crowded Tuesday night with my other half and ordered the jalapeño Hawaiian pizza with the beer pretzel and pineapple cider. I'm a big fan of ciders and the pineapple cider was definitely delicious, the pizza was a bit soggy but the pretzel was very yummy. If you'd like a wide range of ciders and great soft, big pretzels- this is your place. Thus saying those are the things I would recommend.

If you're looking for the music version of an ale house, this is a solid spot. Plenty of seating options from the bar to tables inside and on the patio. The menu is light years better than the ale house with more actual food and less fried crap. I had the steak salad which, besides having way too much dressing on it, was good. Prices are quite reasonable. Would be a great place to bring kids who aren't all that well behaved since nobody would hear them over the music. I'd go back.

What a fun place! Somehow I've never noticed it but was lucky enough to go after a work/team retreat one day and I can say I'll definitely be back. The servers were awesome and super fun, the drinks were good, and the food was tasty! I do not have children but noticed a little "play area" outside and thought it was a nice touch. Go with a group or just as a couple, you'll have fun.

Let's talk about the food, people. I've been here at least 10 times, mainly for lunch. I can't understand why it has three stars and not four or five. I've had the hamburger, turkey burger, veggie pizza, the Key club turkey BLTA, strawberry fields salad, Hawaiian Street tacos, and wings! Some other reviews are ridiculous! Too touristy?? What do you expect?? A stinkin dive because it's Rock and Roll?! I say KUDOS for this new establishment and the delicious food! Thanks for moving into my area! Lastly, dogs are welcome to dine on the patio! Yay!

Inside is really spacious and open. Decor is rock and rolled themed like house of blues with Rock music playing in the background. I had the pizza which had a nice crust and ample toppings. Extensive craft beer menu, wine and liqour. Ordered tri-tipped steak tacos for $11 delicious but only 2 tacos for that price you should get 3.

My expectations weren't high to begin with, but very upsetting experience at Rock & Brews. First, our reservation was at 7pm and we didn't get seated until 7:30pm. We went to the bar while we waited and it took us 10 minutes to get a beer and two glasses of wine. When we finally got seated, the table was for 7, not 10. So, we waited again...15 minutes later, we were finally seated at the correct table. The service was terrific, though. Our server was very friendly and working hard. After we ordered, we waited an hour for our food. Yes, it was for ten people, but one hour for burgers and sandwiches? Ludicrous. The food was mediocre and the overall experience was awful. Definitely wouldn't go back again or to any of it's locations in the U.S.

I can recommend the Spicy Asian Chicken wings and a giant pretzel. Both items were excellent. Lots of flavor, the wings were huge (ate only 5 of the 10 in the meal), and I was satisfied. Washed it down with a couple of great beers, and it was a perfect lunch.

Burgers are so big you better plan on making a mess while eating! Excellent food, reasonable prices. Outdoor seating area is genuinely pet friendly as are the staff. Love taking our dog, great overall environment.

Why 3 Stars??? Come for the atmosphere and by the way they have a kitchen too. My wife had been with her gal pals and she seemed to enjoy it so I decided to taste for myself what Rock & Brews could do. Wifey had an enormous steak salad which she enjoyed and I went with the Tri-Tip Steak Tacos. They were damn tasty, but you Only get 2! Flavorful and nice presentation with the side of black beans, but if you're hungry, 2 tacos @ $10 you'll want to order more food. As Kimberly a few reviews down added better quality bar food than the Ale House down the way. Dinner for 2 with No apps/booze/dessert=$40 The place has plenty of potential we just didn't see a whole-lotta-value.

2 kids burgers, (had to talk to manager to get them to cook to temp, apparently they only do kids burgers well done), one was missing requested toppings. Adult burger was cooked correctly but was also missing some of the toppings. Tri tip sandwich ordered medium rare came out well done and had to be sent back. ordered 2 kids sundaes (listed as with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles) came out with no chocolate sauce and the whipped cream was completely melted. Kitchen needs to get their act together or their food losses will get out of hand. Server was friendly and patient, felt bad she had to keep running back and forth due to kitchen mistakes

I you go expecting a bit of a wait....pretty loud music...a bunch of big screen TV's....an excellent server named Amber....very good Pulled Pork (go with the Carolina BBQ sauce)....a great R&B pizza....a busy and loud, family friendly and adult friendly atmosphere, your expectations will be met! Without alcohol you can expect to spend about $25 a head (includes tip) and it is worth it.

This restaurant was pretty much exactly what I was expecting when I first heard about it opening. There is a really great atmosphere that is definitely forward for how bland and uninspired a lot of other chain restaurants in Oviedo are, but the overall portrayal of "rock and roll" is still very sterile and franchised feeling. I'm not suggesting that I want to eat at places that would normally be condemned by the CDC, I'm just saying that there was a very manufactured feel to the mechanics and decor of the restaurant. Imagine being dropped off an Ale House at the end of Disney's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and you've got Rock & Brews. That being said, all of the servers and staff at this location are all very, very nice and accommodating. There will be someone to hold the door open to welcome you, greet you, and seat you within minutes. Someone else mentioned them feeling sort of confused, but with good reason. It's a large restaurant with a convoluted layout; some of the tables are elongated and can seat two separate parties at them or one big party which could probably make things confusing. You won't be rubbing elbows with your fellow patrons, but you're in ear shot of other parties so I wouldn't recommend dropping too many secrets over a sandwich while you're there. The sandwiches that my girlfriend and I tried while we were there were excellent. The food there was a very big reason while I will be returning. She had a turkey BLT of some sort and I had a chicken sandwich that were both fantastic. You'll get the sandwiches with seasoned fries by default, but they have a decent amount of other options if you're looking to cut calories or try something different. The fries, the sandwiches, the friendly staff, the fire pit outside the restaurant, and the fact that I won't drive down to Hard Rock Cafe at Universal, are all reasons that I'll be returning.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeh. Not so good. The atmosphere is almost enough to give you a stroke. The service is a little confused, but I can't blame them. The beer selection was pretty decent the night I went, but half the items on draft weren't listed in the menu. The lady next to me said the bartender told her the distributors messed up. Not sure how distributors have anything to do with a restaurant's menu. (Tip: they don't) So they're just passing blame. The wings were pretty gross, obviously frozen. Exactly what I would expect at a Gators dockside. The sauce wasn't good either and they serve all drums. I hate drums. The "blue cheese" was runny and gross as well. Tasted more like ranch. I despise ranch. This place will do great in the area it's in next to the Macaroni Grill and other chains.

I had the tri tip sandwich, which is one of their signature sandwiches and it was really good. Lots of flavor and the steak was cooked perfectly (I requested medium). My mom had the turkey burger and she said it was okay but not great. Service was good, I enjoyed the relaxed feel of it. When it's not so hot I plan on bringing my dog back to try some of the dog menu!

My expectations were not met in the least. Having driven by many times during construction, I had hoped that the design included a stage for live music, which it does not. A good amount of TVs that played either music videos or sports shows. I would have liked to see more monitors with the music videos then sports since the name is "Rock & Brews" not "Sports & Brews". Especially after the families have cleared out, the music should get louder and sports should go away. The bar staff, with the exception of one girl, was less then attentive to anyone standing waiting to get a drink. And even after getting a seat at the bar it still took some time to get one. The beer selection is very good. The menu selection is not that big which helps to turn tables but if you're looking for much more the burgers and pizza, this is not your place. We tried the Hawaiian Tacos. A good amount of Ahi Tuna and avocado but really should have been served in a soft tortilla. The puffed up 'taco shell' they came in, was more suited for cannoli's then tacos. May stop by again for lunch, but outside of grabbing a beer with the guys, don't think I will be back for dinner anytime soon.

Kris M. Manager Yesterday Block & Report Owner thanks for the review. i just wanted to clarify that we are a dog friendly restaurant but only on our patio. None of our employees are allowed to pet the dogs and we have multiple hand sanitizing stations on the patio area. We do have a dog menu on our table tent stand and it is on all of the stands in the store. We did this because we thought dog owners would want to know they could bring their pup if they wanted. i apologize it wasn't made clearer. Kris Maronpot General Manager Rock & Brews Oviedo Having a lot of employees is a good thing, as long as they are trained properly. Mills and BJs down the street have absolutely no service at all. We wonder what stops the dogs from peeing, smelling, scratching etc, etc. That is the last thing diners want to see while eating, even if outside. Many people have no common sense and think their dog is a child, thinking others should treat them like one. We have neighbors that think nothing of a dog eliminating on our lawn with us standing right there. People are stupid and have no respect for others. This sounds ridiculous and funny but it's true. We will find a another place with an atmosphere that we like. Rick

We attended a friend's birthday party here recently. The ambiance is rock casual with lots of great music prints. Seating is picnic tables except for the pub height bar area. Lots of TV's for sports viewing. The beer selection is great. My husband and friends all ordered the beer flight. Nice and simple wine selection. We ordered a lot of appetizers (party of 18). The pizza, ahi tuna tacos and chicken lettuce wraps were superb. Lots of other basics include soft pretzel pieces with spicy mustard, cheesy toast w/ bruschetta, and chicken wings. We had good service and good food. Complimentary desserts were brought out for the table. I would be happy to meet friends here again for a casual and fun lunch.

Rock & Brews is a great place to enjoy some vintage videos (70's and 80's) while enjoying some decent grub and nice craft beer menu. The place is decorated with posters and paintings of bands from the 70's and 80's -- the same era the band KISS was big. Not coincidentally the franchise is owned by the two most popular members of the band -- Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The kids will marvel at the psychedelic videos and the poor animation (by today's standards.) The menu is mostly made up of your standard pub fare -- pizza, sandwiches, appetizers but also some nice dinner entrees. I ordered the Tri Tip Steak with the mango topping. The food was decent but a little cold when it got to me. It came with rice and steam mixed vegis -- nothing special but a nice side item. We got the BBQ Wings because one person in the party didn't want them hot -- and they weren't. I guess they were good, but I recommend the Spicy Asian Wings we had on a previous visit. They were fantastic! The pizza was ok as were the green side salads. Rock & Brews has a nice selection of macro and craft beers that leans towards the mainstream side. They have a rotating selection of local Florida selections and a few brews that lean towards the enthusiast side. I had the Founders Black Rye for the first time -- very good. Outside, they have fire pits that won't be very popular for the next 5 months of so, but fun when the whether turns cooler. Service was friendly, helpful and efficient. Check out Rock & Brews for some rock music nostalgia and good food and drink.

I had a great experience with a food runner named Tyler, he went the extra mile to grab sauces and hunt down our server who was less than attentive. The food more than made up for it. Try the pineapple beer it's pretty good.

Not too bad for the first few weeks of being open. Everyone seemed happy with their food; mostly burgers around the table. The ambiance is nice: loud classic rock is playing, many TVs showing the game and then great big artwork from album covers. Great beer selection and patio, too. I'd say the pretzel appetizer was the best by far. Nothing like some beer cheese and pretzel to get you started.

Went back to Rock and Brews to give it another shot and I'm very glad that I did. The service was outstanding this time. I'd recommend Brody any day as she was very knowledgable about the food items on the menu as well as the numerous beer selections. We had the tri-tip sandwich and it was delicious. We also had the pulled pork sandwich, and it was absolutely awesome. Highly recommended.

Update: After our first experience with rock n brews I was disappointed with the whole experience. But I jumped the gun on my judgement. We decided to give it another chance tonight and we weren't disappointed. The food and service was 5 stars. I will definitely come back again.

Very small menu, I ordered the beer cheese pretzel and paid additional for the beer cheese, the cheese was like eating a napkin, 0 flavor, oddly enough the honey mustard that came with the pretzel was bad ass. Burger was ok. Nothing to complain or write home about. Chances are it will be a long time until I show my face here again

I'm not sold on this place yet. It's pretty obvious they still have some kinks they need to work out in the service department. Prices are a little higher compared to BJs Brewhouse/Chilis but the food I had was very good, if you're okay spending $13 for a sandwich. Service was very slow. We ordered a beer sampler, with 4 different beers, and the waitress had no idea which beers they were and had to go ask the bartender, and told us 3 beers a certain one "could" have been. I like the large amount of outdoor seating and that they have their own little dog menu and are dog friendly, I think the only time I will give this place another chance is when I have my dogs in tow. It's not bad, but leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully in the coming months, servers will get more experienced.

Being a huge rock fan, I enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Very impressive variety of beers on tap and very friendly waitstaff. We all enjoyed our entrees as well; the only weak point was the amount of meat on my tri-tip tacos, which was not very much. Very good experience overall.

I gave this place 2 tries because it's close to home. The first time I came and sat at the bar. Service was horrible...which is why I didn't want to return again. I decided to give it a go though. On my second visit, i sat at a high top near the bar with 3 girlfriends. We sat, and sat, and sat. No exaggeration, 7 minutes had passed and multiple servers walked right by us. I even held my arms up in the air to get someone's attention. Still nothing. I had to walk up to the bartender, who had seen us sitting with no drinks and ask him to send someone over. That's not how you get repeat customers. I will not be going back, even though I liked their tuna appetizer.

We are huge fans. Great outdoor area with a little corner for the kids to play. Awesome couches with fire pit. We ordered a pizza and a burger and craft beers which were all outstanding. Kids menu also good choices. It's crowded at 5 PM which is a really good sign. A+

I have eaten at the Oviedo Rock and Brews numerous times. The service is great and friendly. They serve the best potato/ sweet potato fries in town crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I sometimes crave the Margarita tri-tip sandwich and pick it up before I go home. This is a fun place for everyone but don't expect to be able to talk to each other much if you eat inside since the music is extremely loud.

There was hair in my food and poor service. The food however was tasty which is why it's getting more than 1 star. That was the only thing though; there were so many other problems. Our waitress's recommendation of beer was horrible, and she also didn't give me a copy of my receipt at the end.

Went back to Rock n Brews for my birthday since I was wanting to try the Asian Wings. We were seated and quickly approached by a server, wish I remembered her name, she was very good. I'm happy to say the wings exceeded my expectations! They were meaty, cooked to perfection with just a hint of crispness. These are not your average bar wings. My boyfriend had the R&B special and while he promised me a bite, he wolfed it down before I got one. Since it was my birthday, I splurged on the purple raindrops, which were unlike anything I've had, definitely cooked to order, and addicting! It's clear that the food is fresh, including the seasoning, and care is taken in the presentation. So far I've enjoyed both visits and look forward to going back with my dog for a weekend lunch. I think she'll like it too. Lettuce wraps are next!

Place was super packed. They said an hr wait but we recon'd a high top table and got seated in about 5 min. Place looks cool. Had really high ceilings and neat artwork on the walls. Took a few minutes for a server to come to us. We grabbed a couple beer tasters which took way too long to come out. (Also annoying that the have local beers but don't properly tell u which beer belongs to which brewery). We ordered Hot Asian wings. They weren't hot but they were pretty crappy. Big ass wings tho, all drumsticks. I got a blue cheese like burger. It was not very good at all. The burger itself wasn't very flavorful and cooked too much (supposed to be medium). The sweet potato fries were pretty tasty, they were pretty big and thick. My brother had the fireball burger and he said it was mediocre but not hot. My sister in-law said strawberry salad was good but needed more strawberries. I did see one guy have the ribs and they looked awesome and big. They were cheap as well. All together not a great experience. The place looked cool, the music was good and loud, the lights were too dim when they changed. But the food was the downfall. It did come out quick but was blah. Had to come back and edit my review. We had purple rain drops. In theory they sounded good, however I would have rather made out with Prince for 5 min then eat them. They weren't cooked fully and tasted like a donut that wasn't cooked all the way and hand chocolate chips sprinkled in it.

Came in for lunch, and sat at a booth. The beer selection is not bad. I had a summer ale, and ordered the lettuce wraps and the fish tacos. The server was good but, a little on the slow side. The food was pretty good, average at best. While I was sitting there I was wondering what this place will be next after Rock and Brews is gone. The restaurant is a novelty type place, and they come and go. Good luck to Rock and Brew.

Update: My group of friends and I decided to give this place another try, after the GM personally reached out to us and requested another opportunity to show us the true quality of this restaurant. I have to say, that this was a complete 180 from the last time. The staff was personable, the food was amazing and the environment was much more relaxed. I am really glad we came back. My food recommendation are * Chesse Fries * Ribs * Bread Pudding Other members of my group recommend * Tacos * Spaghetti w/ Meatballs

I went to Rock & Brews last night to meet up with a bunch of high school friends I haven't seen in over 20 years. The food was delicious. I had a burger, it was cooked to perfection. My husband and I both agreed it had to be one of the best we'd ever had. I don't drink, but my husband was impressed with the selection of beer and other alcoholic drinks. We also split an order of wings, which were nice and meaty and very tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the seating. Those picnic benches are not great for the back. Plus, you couldn't move them around and we had a very big group. That meant that we had our backs turned to some of our friends, which kind of sucked. I would come back, but not with a group larger than 8, due to seating.

My husband and I love this place. We going about once a week, and sometimes we meet friends there. They play a lot of good rock music and we like to watch the old music videos on the big screen. Also love the food--not your typical bar food. Although they did away with my favorite sauce for the grilled chicken... the Jamaican jerk. It was really good. Love the new seating too. Our only complaint is the drink prices. We are loyal Captain Morgan drinkers and the double talls are $11 each! Very high for this area. Wish they would put Captain back on happy hour....

The place is awesome and atmosphere was great BUT the service was horrible. I've been here three times and each time it got worse. They can't get your orders correctly. I'm allergic to pickles and each time they put pickles inside my sandwich. I went with a group of 4 and all our orders was wrong. Which I don't know how considering she wrote it down and repeated back to us. The last time I went she had wrote down our orders wrong and didn't even apologize. One person never got their food and we asked her to remove the order since it was taking so long and when we got our bill she still charged us. I will never be back.

I was very anxious to try Rock and Brews of course I'm a Kiss fan and was expecting a lot , yikes not quite what I hoped for , long wait 45 minutes and no pagers had to be texted which is ok if you can hear it , it's extremely loud , which is ok but not be seated , my server didn't get her name was very slow and it took a long time to get our food , the food was okay , please please get all the kinks out I would like to give it another shot !!! and add some dinners beside burgers and sandwiches , Gene and Paul won't be happy ! One more very important factor get some padded seats for the outside area not good , however did enjoy the fire outside while waiting .

If you've ever played with a Mr. Potato Head, then you'll get my drift. You can put a bunch of different plastic parts into the basic head and make a bunch of neat faces that all appear different on the outside. But when you get down to it, it's just a plastic piece of junk with little value. Rock & Brews is another face, but the experience is a typical forced corporate escapade. In the same boat with Ruby's, TGI's, Bjs, and all of the other "Well, it's open and we don't want to drive far, so let's get this over with" eateries. This place falls close BJ's Brewhouse although I would say the food is just a small step up and they are both battling for the coolest beer selections. In the few times we've visited, we've already noticed that they are moving in the same direction as BJ's too: for the grand opening, stock up on a bunch of decent craft beers for the cool factor, then sell them for 3-4 times what they cost in the ABC down the road. Importantly, as each runs out, try to convince the customers that there are other mega-brew substitutes that are in the same league. Shameful. Check out my review of BJ's wherein I posted a list of the beers they were out of, hilarious. Rock & Brews was out of the first four beer choices the last time we went. I settled for a Spaten (Munich's Bud with more bitterness, pretty much Stella). Setting: A bunch of old rock stars and album pics on the walls. Shouldn't R&B be "Rhythm and Brews"? Very loud. Strangely, they don't play songs by the artists on the walls, they play B-side 80s rock and show music videos on only one of the 50 TVs. They probably don't want to pay royalties. They could at least play some Kiss I would think. Why does a beer-centric restaurant have one urinal? The place is brand new! The food: Asian wings are huge, fatty, and typical for corporate settings (who knows what those poor chickens ate). They looked great though! Pizza was OK, just OK, better than BJ's for sure. The pulled pork sandwich looked better than it tasted (it's exactly like Bullseye sauce on Hormel pork), and the brioche bun was an impostor (improperly textured and flavorless despite looking fantastic). The scariest thing we had each time is what they call a Bleu cheese dressing. God knows what that stuff is, but it sure as heck ain't bleu cheese dressing (like some blend of salt, milk, maybe onion, and some ranch dressing). We thought the first time they gave us the wrong stuff, but that is what they intend to serve. I hereby copyright the term Ranch-jaculate to refer to this dressing. The fries, both regular and sweet potato, are coated in some corporate crust that is too salty. There is no potato flavor in either and they were mealy/mushy on the inside. Each tasted like everything that went into the fryer that week. Again, typical fat-folks mall food. The Service: Well drilled/trained servers with peppy/forced-happy attitudes. I am reminded of the Southpark episode with the "Raisins" restaurant. We all appreciate a smiling face and attentive service, but they need to cool it a little. As soon as you step in some Barbie starts yelling salutations at you from some odd desk that isn't the hostess station. There are 3-5 hostesses, and about 400 servers. They visit too often and should be taught how to read tables better. If we just got our food and our beers are full, then stop interrupting every 30 seconds. A few times, the lady stood at out table as if she wanted in on the conversation. Beat it! If it's past 4 o'clock, just drive to Oblivion. Better food, better beer, better service, and better prices. A prime example of why supporting local business is a must.

Went for an impromptu lunch today. What a great selection of beer! Every item we tried from the menu was delicious. Very relaxed and a very open feel.

Went with friends. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The menu gave you a lot of choices, some new. The fish n chips was disappointing and the cole slaw warm and vile. The salads presentation was lovely and they were very good. The picnic table/bench seating would have been ok, if they did not sit us with strangers. table for 8- so they put 4 and 4. No good. Childrens play area. Looked like a good idea, but No. Screaming children are very annoying. If this is Mc Donalds, then lets pay a buck for a burger. Unfortunately, we will not go back. I hope they make some changes. Janice B.

Average food and the service was sooooooo slow. Not to mention, 6 bucks for a draft. Kind of pricey for this place. I have been there twice and I think that is enough.

Great food. Fun atmosphere! Loved being able to watch all the sports and listen to rock and roll!!!

Cool ambiance. Nice, attentive servers. Lackluster food. I ordered pulled pork. It was dry and somewhat devoid of flavor. The bbq sauce was very necessary. My wife got the Fireball burger. It was ok. Maybe come for the beers and a game but would go out of my way for their food.

The atmosphere was like a Hardrock Cafe, and the menu was extensive which is good. The food was very good, but not amazing. Had a long list of cocktails and beers which was nice. I would definitely return.

If you plan on eating here, be aware that there aren't many booths to sit in and the rest of the seating is "group" seating where you are seated next to strangers and have no privacy and no elbow room. If you like to pay to sit and eat with strangers, you will love it! But if you are like us, you'll just leave and go somewhere else because all of the booths are full. Didn't even get to try the food because we just left. May try it again sometime if we have the time to wait for a booth to open up....

Waitress took our drink order quickly and then our food order. But the food took about 30 minutes to arrive (actually, as I write this, still no food). Also, kind of different sitting on the patio with several dogs around. Which is fine. Seems that the wait staff doesn't know which table ordered which food. This has happened several times since the time we've been here. Might want to fix the easy things. Word spreads like wild fire in Oviedo.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The whole experience was awesome. One of the things that was really cool was the dog menu! Our waiter Nathan was so personal and friendly. He made the whole experience wonderful. Awesome place!

This place is a gimmick restaurant that will either need to make some huge changes or fade away so fast we won't remember the name. The food here is horrible. No wonder they offer a dog menu, I'm assuming they are they only ones not complaining. The lighting is also over some what cheesy. The first pizza my Girlfriend ordered came out with NO cheese on it. The replacement pizza had some hard plastic piece in the pizza. I know they JUST opened and the staff and management tried everything to make it right. If they are open still in a couple of months we will try again and I will post or update this review. Until then, good luck.

The food here is definitely an afterthought. I had thw grilled chicken which was quite scrawny. The only sides they have are frwnch fries, no option for vegetables of any kind. The rest of my family were simmilarly underwhelmed. This is a good place to come and drink so much that you do not care how the food tastes. Not a do over

After a return visit to this place I would have to say I'm truly impressed with the service, I have to say a big thank you to the owners, managers and staff for treating us like family more then customers, the food was amazing this go around and we will be returning soon. Thank you Mr. Paul for your hospitality, your staff did an amazing job.

Not impressed with this place at all. Considering how slow it was for a Saturday night, I would have expected more attention from the waitress. The food was average in my opinion. However the prices for what it was, was a bit much. The picnic style seating was a bit tacky and out of place. The biggest complaint was the lighting. The LEDs that change colors every 3 seconds, were distracting and annoying. I couldn't imagine taking a date and within 10 seconds she goes from looking like a leprechaun to a smurf, to looking like she has the flu. The lighting concept needs to drastically change. I can honestly say I wouldn't go back. The food wasn't bad, but everything else was.

Awesome place have been there three times now and have 0 complaints. Great open atmosphere excellent beer selection delerium nocturnum is great way to wash down their delicious artichoke appetizer. Fish tacos are great too and they are served on proper corn tortillas (way better than flour). Can't wait to go back again!

Sitting at the bar for a beer with my hubby, since I wanted to check out the new place. Asked to see a menu about 20 minutes ago. Did get the beer but being ignored. Service is very lacking!

Cool atmosphere and the staff was great. The food was 50/50. My Ultimate Burger was delicious and the fries were good. My wife's Tri Tip tacos were cold as were the beans. We will go back and give it another shot.

A bit underwhelming. The server was excellent, her name was Kaycee. But they refused to cook my son's burger the way I wanted unless the manager gave approval. Then I ordered my tri tip medium rare and it came out well done. They also missed items from my son and my boyfriend's orders. In my opinion, for a brand new restaurant, they really need to get their kitchen in better shape. It was also pretty ridiculous to have to ask permission to feed my child the way I wanted. At least the staff we spoke to (manager on duty and the server) were both friendly. Update to review: after I wrote my initial review, we ordered dessert for our kids, ice cream sundaes which were supposed to include whipped cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles. They came out with melted whipped cream and no chocolate sauce. Seriously?! The kitchen is a joke. Thank god for our server who saved the day and brought out the Hershey's bottle and let the boys tell her how much they wanted.

Our group of 6 had another opportunity to experience rock & brews and I will have to honestly say that I judged them too quickly after our first encounter. This experience was night and day from our first visit. As I started my last review I will again say the food is really good here! The ribs were delicious, I would stick with the fries as a side dish because the rice wasn't full of flavor. If you like mixed drinks you have to try the stairway to heaven it is just as the name says!! Great appetizers, no matter what you get in this category I think you will be pleased. Tonight the management was very present and even had a good time joking around with us about the hockey game. Our waitress this time was super sweet if you have the opportunity to ask for Nicole be sure to she is great! Maybe it's because tonight is a Friday and last time was a Saturday, maybe it is because management was more aware of what was happening on the floor but even tiny mistakes like the wrong side dish being brought out were quickly and apologetically fixed and that is so appreciated.

I was pleasantly surprised by Rock & Brew. When I heard it was a franchise owned by KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley I was preparing myself for pretty average fare. Turns out this is a solid beer and burger joint. The beer selection is solid, and the giant pretzel, bruchetta, and burger I had were all very good. My only complaint was regarding my wife's specialty mixed drink. She had a cocktail called Stairway to Heaven that was a weird mix of tropical flavors and nutmeg that just did not work. Definitely stick with the beer and skip their special cocktails.

I was underwhelmed. Perhaps my expectations were too high. I thought the lunch menu was very average and somewhat limited. Service was very good and friendly. The food was fine, but unremarkable. Yes, I would return, but I won't be a frequent customer. My biggest complaint is the seating. It is primarily tables with just a few booths. Outdoor seating is picnic table style.

Went here last night with a group of friends for happy hour. All they have available for Happy hour were drink specials so I wasn't impressed. They do have a huge beer selection, unfortunately I'm more of a liquor drinker. Once everyone decided what to drink, we ordered a few appetizers to share. We got the lettuce wraps, calamari and the roasted brussel sprouts (that was the seasonal vegetable). The lettuce wraps were super spicy to me, so beware. The other 2 appetizers were very good. I can't believe I like the brussel sprouts so much, they were covered with bacon and cheese, but then again bacon and cheese makes everything better! After we finished the appetizers we decided to get dessert, BEST decision ever. We got the bread pudding and it was amazing, I would go back just to get that. We also tried the dessert called purple rain, it was doughnuts filled with chocolate syrup which were also delicious. The place has a very rocker feel, overall it was a pretty good experience.

I think they still have opening jitters. Got there about 12:30. One person opened the door and 3 hostesses greeted us. We were seated at a high top. Several servers passed us by and it wasn't until after about 4 minutes we stopped one and placed a drink order. Our assigned server said "sorry we are jammed" the place was empty. Oh well, we ordered our food and it came relatively quick. All and all its an OK place, but not a wow place. A hamburger is a hamburger. Actually the fries were good. My dish came with coleslaw that was warm. I have this thing about eating warm mayo. We would probably go back for drinks, not sure about food. Go and judge for your self........

Server was sweet and professional, but did not ask about my choice of sides, she just assumed. She assumed wrong. Food is okay, not horrible but not great. The beer is extremely overpriced. Someone said that this is a tourist trap stuck in suburbia...they were right. I don't need to come back here.

Went for the first time last week. Tried the beef tacos and they were really good. Also had the Brussel Sprouts app...better than I expected. Saw the doggie menu and will have to bring ours back the next visit. Food and good music warrants another visit.

Typical bar food, but tastes good. Service was wonderful even though they were pretty busy on a Sunday around lunch time, didn't take long for our food to come out. Tons of beers to choose from. Good atmosphere, well seasoned food. On the menu it says burger cooked to medium but when it came out it was more well done. Music was a bit loud though.

Walked out once we realized dogs were permitted in the restaurant. Even if it's outside on the patio there is no place for animals in a restaurant. I am a dog owner but there is no reason people should have to hear them while they are out to eat. Its not cute that people take there poches out to eat its GROSS. Management should change this policy I never heard of a restaurant losing customers because they WOULDN'T let dogs in.

The building and atmosphere are very cool. The service was great, but the food was just average. Being a sports bar, my husband was hoping they would have great wings. He never ordered them because they only have drums, no flats and they aren't very hot. His burger ended up being decent. My tri-tip sandwich was cooked medium well instead of medium rare-big difference. The meat was quite tough. Not sure that there is much we will be going back for.

Wife and I went in on a saturday night, had a little wait (as expected). What fascinated me was that while I was waiting for a table, a server came up and asked if we would care for any beverage or even an appetizer while we waited. We asked for a menu and due to the extensive beer list asked for 2 suggestions for my wife and I. The server, I think his name was Las or Laz, picked us 2 beers and we both loved them. We ended up finding open spots at the hightops (seat yourself) and the same person that got us our beers ended up being our server. He recommeneded the brushetta as an appetizer, which was very tasty. Then my wife ordered the ahi tuna salad and our server suggested the steak sandwich for me. My wife and I were both very pleased. We couldnt leave without trying the famous purple rain drops for a dessert (powdered donuts with chocolate filling), they were pretty good, have potential to be better. Overall experience was very very good, will definetly be back. Lively, uptempo servers, and atmosphere.

Rock & brew has a vibrant atmosphere and expansive layout. The bar is pretty big with a whole wall of tap beers available. Outside there's two sitting areas with warmers and fire pits, this part is dog friendly. I don't really see the point in taking you're dog to a restaurant but hey to each his own. We sampled a few appies the firehouse wings, Hawaiian tacos and the loaded fries. The wings were very good, spicy but full of flavor. My favorite appetizer was the taco though. It had avocado and tuna I believe with wasabi and soy sauce on the side. This place is at its core a burger joint and the burgers here are monstrous. I had the firehouse burger it was pretty kicking. The group I was with all loved their food. The pulled pork sandwich, blue cheese bacon burger, even the kids meal burger was really big prepared perfect. This place is a winner in sad there isn't one near where I live. Oh also had the Purple Rain Drops for desert; they were crazy good. Price was right on too. Two people drinks appies and entrees $70 including tip.

Walked in and was led by a hostess to the high tops. We didn't even get menus, so we had to ask for it. 40 mins in and still not a single person to take our order or give us water so we walked out. Would not recommend this place or return.

Service was great but food was average. Spent about 50 dollars for wings, tri tip steak sandwich, loaded fries and a soft pretzel. I felt like food was not the tastiest. Probably won't go again for this price.

Hi. Went to Rock & Brews and just loved it! The place is cool. Beer selection is outstanding with lots of local favs. Burger was awesome ... Cooked just like I ordered. Fries were crispy. Totally impressed with all of the large TVs. I won't go anywhere else to watch sports. You can even bring your dog :). Did I mention they have fire pits and outdoor seating with heaters for the winter months! Great parking. Very affordable. Fun staff! Great vibe!
